Violation of Cooperative Principles in Conversation Involving Gender Role and The Word “terserah”
This research is designed to investigate how the expression ‘terserah’ (English, whatever) is potentially misinterpreted in conversation between men and women. It focuses on its divergent interpretations and the factors that contribute to misunderstanding. This research applies a descriptive qualitative method, analyzing dialogues from selected conversational scenes. Using Griece’s Cooperative Principles Theory, the phenomena are depicted through discourse analysis. Additionally, this research highlights how women’s violations of cooperative principles convey implicit intentions, which are influenced by gendered language behaviors. The result indicates that the expression terserah that is frequently used by women, often violates the maxims of cooperation as a way to conceal their true intentions. Furthermore, cultural stereotypes influence language choices that contributes to communication breakdowns. One key finding describes that this language strategy – violating cooperative principles – functions as a test of whether men can recognize underlying meanings in female speech
Representasi Konflik Sosial dalam Film “Django Unchained”
This research is titled “Representation of Social Conflict in the Film Django Unchained”. This research purposes are to identify and describe social conflicts that occur in the film Django Unchained using the perspective of Karl Marx’s conlict theory. Marx stated that in every society there must be a dominant party and dominated pary, both parties have different views and goals about the system which exist in their social environment. Due to the differences of views and goals, it is possible for social conflict occur in between these parties. This research use data from dialogue and screen capture from the movie, that represent a social conflict. The result of this research is, the conflict occurs because of an unfair society system between the dominant party or the bourgeoisie and the dominated party or the proletary, where this system is more inclined and give more benefits to the bourgeoisie. Resulting the conflicts between white and black races, conflicts between the government and society, conflicts between foremen and slave, conflict between masters and fighter slave, also conflict between masters and servant slave.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan mendeskripsikan konflik sosial apa saja yang terjadi pada film Django Unchained menggunakan sudut pandang teori konflik milik Karl Marx. Marx berpendapat bahwa dalam setiap lingkungan masyarakat pasti ada pihak yang berkuasa dan dikuasai, kedua pihak ini memiliki pandangan dan tujuan yang berbeda tentang sistem yang ada dilingkungan tersebut, akibat adanya perbedaan pandagan dan tujuan maka sangat memungkinkan terjadinya konflik sosial antara dua pihak tersebut. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berupa kutipan dialog dan tangkapan layar dari adegan yang merepresentasikan sebuah konflik sosial. Hasil penelitian ini yaitu, konflik terjadi karena adanya sistem masyarakat yang tidak adil antara pihak yang berkuasa atau kaum borjuis dengan pihak yang dikuasai atau pihak proletar, yang mana sistem pada masyarakat lebih condong dang menguntungkan pihak borjuis. Mengakibatkan terjadinya konflik antar ras kulit putih dan kulit hitam, konflik antara pemerintah dan masyarakat, konflik antara mandor dan budak, konflik antara majikan dan seorang budak petarung, serta konflik antara majikan dan budak pelayannya.

Positive Politeness Strategies Used by Henk Rogers in Tetris Movie (2023)
This study aims to identify positive politeness strategies used by Henk Rogers as the Tetris movie\u27s main character. The analysis is conducted on Henk\u27s dialogues that contain positive politeness strategies according to Brown and Levinson\u27s theory. This research uses the descriptive qualitative method to analyze the data, while data collection is done through observation. The results found 48 data of positive politeness strategies used by Henk. Of the 15 existing strategies, 13 strategies appeared in Henk\u27s dialogues. The most dominant strategies are Notice, attending to Hearer and Assert or Presuppose Speaker\u27s Knowledge of and Concern for Hearer\u27s Wants, each appearing in seven dialogues. The factors that influence the use of these strategies include power (P) differences, social distance (D), and rank of imposition (R). When dealing with higher-position interlocutors, Henk used more diplomatic and respectful language, especially when meeting for the first time. However, if the relationship is already closer, his language style becomes more casual and informal. Through the analysis, readers can understand how positive politeness strategies are used in business communication, whether in a company, government environment or when interacting with new people.

ANALISIS HUKUM ATAS INSIDER TRADING SEBAGAI KEJAHATAN BISNIS IMPLIKASI DAN TANTANGAN PENEGAKAN HUKUM DI INDONESIA: Legal Analysis of Insider Trading Practices as a Business Crime: Implications and Challenges for Law Enforcement in Indonesia
Insider trading yakni perdagangan saham berdasarkan informasi material yang belum dipublikasikan, merupakan salah satu kejahatan bisnis yang merusak integritas pasar modal. Praktik ini menciptakan ketidakadilan di pasar karena pihak-pihak yang memiliki informasi tidak publik dapat memperoleh keuntungan tidak wajar, sementara investor lainnya dirugikan. Di Indonesia, regulasi mengenai insider trading diatur dalam Undang-Undang Nomor 8 Tahun 1995 tentang Pasar Modal, namun penegakan hukum terhadap praktik ini masih menghadapi sejumlah tantangan, seperti kesulitan dalam pembuktian dan rendahnya kesadaran masyarakat tentang dampak buruknya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kerangka hukum yang ada di Indonesia terkait insider trading, membandingkannya dengan regulasi di negara lain, serta mengidentifikasi tantangan utama dalam penegakan hukum. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan yuridis normatif dan studi kasus, penelitian ini mengungkapkan perlunya peningkatan transparansi, pengawasan pasar modal, serta peran serta publik dalam mencegah praktik ini. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan rekomendasi untuk memperkuat regulasi dan sistem penegakan hukum guna menjaga integritas pasar modal Indonesia
Data Mart of Climate Changes: a Proposed Approach to Support Sustainable Decision-Making
The increasing interest in climate changes necessitates different effective solutions of data-driven decision-making in order to promote sustainability. In this paper, a proposed framework of data mart model designed to manage and analyze dataset of climate change in a station in Basrah, Iraq. The main aim is to examine the proposed data mart for support sustainable decisions by diving in different factors such as temperature, solar radiation, rain, wind speed at (10, 30, 50, 52) meters, wind direction, and humidity. The proposed schema for data mart is star schema to facilitate on-line analytical processing operations (roll up and drill down) through hierarchy of date, and for future advanced analytics. Power BI is used to design different dashboards to visualize data, and provide actionable insights for environmental researchers, decision makers, and stakeholders. The proposed model demonstrates real-time indicators and key performance indicators, with many customizable dashboards which ultimately provide stakeholders to make short-term decisions regarding climate change effects. The future works focus on integrating many other climate changes dataset from different locations and integrating predictive models of machine learning algorithms for forecasting patterns that support sustainability
Pengaruh Capital intensity dan Leverage terhadap Effective Tax Rate pada Perusahaan Manufaktur yang Terindeks LQ45 di Bursa Efek Indonesia Periode 2020-2023
There is a gap between the estimated tax revenue and the actual tax revenue received by the state. Various policies can be taken by companies to lower their effective tax rates. Capital intensity and leverage have the potential to lower the company\u27s effective tax rate. This study aims to determine the effect of capital intensity and leverage partially on the effective tax rate. This study uses descriptive and verification methods with a quantitative approach. In this study, there is a population of 60 annual financial reports from 15 manufacturing companies indexed by LQ45 on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2020-2023 period. The sample used in this study was 32 annual financial reports selected using the purposive sampling method. The data analysis method used is the multiple linear regression analysis method, classical assumption testing and hypothesis testing using Statistical Product Service Solutions (SPSS) software version 23. The results of the study show that capital intensity has a positive effect on the effective tax rate. While leverage does not have a significant effect on the effective tax rate
Lexical Hedges Used by the Female Characters in Birds of Prey Movie
This study was entitled Lexical Hedges Used by The Female Characters in Birds of Prey Movie. This study aimed to figure out the lexicons used as lexical hedges and analyzed why those were used in Birds of Prey movie. The data was collected from the utterances of the female characters in the 2020 movie Birds of Prey, directed by Cathy Yan. The data was collected through documentation and note-taking method. In analyzing the data, descriptive qualitative method was applied based on Lakoff\u27s (1975) theory of lexical hedges. The result of the analysis showed several examples of types of lexicons as lexical hedges used by the female characters, including “well,” “you know,” “I think,” “I guess.” For the used of lexical hedges in Birds of Prey, demonstrating their preference for employing these linguistic strategies to convey uncertainty, weaken assertions, and enhance politeness in their interactions.

Testing Deep Learning Methods to Predict Ransowmare Activity from Hybrid Analysis
This article focuses on using deep learning methods to predict ransomware from hybrid analysis samples. Other similar research is analysed to understand the common methods of detection used to predict ransomware using various methods of analysis. By using this knowledge an experiment is created which tests the performance of a model created from hybrid analysis of ransomware samples. The training dataset used is made up of more than five hundred samples containing 38 different ransomware families and benign Windows program samples. The resultant model was then tested against a dataset include ransomware families not represented in the training dataset, which showed a decrease in performance. These results were then compared to other research’s reported results which highlights potential issues in the way artificial intelligence models are tested and reported. The paper then proposes a focus on more complex methods of prediction, and other potential methods to ensure the models created are externally as effective as they report
Peningkatan Arsitektur Aplikasi Sistem Lelang Agunan Perbankan Menggunakan TOGAF ADM
The collateral auction system in banking faces challenges in terms of scalability, data security, and technology integration. This study aims to analyze and enhance the application architecture of the collateral auction system at BNI46 using the TOGAF (The Open Group Architecture Framework). The target architecture is then designed based on the Architecture Development Method (ADM) phases in TOGAF, covering aspects of Business Architecture, Information Systems Architecture, and Technology Architecture. The research methodology includes observations, interviews, and literature studies to identify weaknesses in the existing system and business requirements. TOGAF is applied as a systematic approach to designing a more flexible, secure, and efficient architecture. Technologies such as containerization, Kubernetes, and a zero-trust security model are employed to improve system efficiency. The study results indicate that the implementation of TOGAF provides a structured approach to developing an architecture that is more flexible and business-oriented. With these improvements, the collateral auction system is expected to provide better services for customers, enhance the efficiency of asset management in banking, adapt to evolving business needs, and strengthen the bank\u27s competitiveness in the digital era.Sistem lelang agunan di perbankan memiliki tantangan dalam hal skalabilitas, keamanan data, dan integrasi teknologi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis serta meningkatkan arsitektur aplikasi sistem lelang agunan di BNI46 menggunakan framework TOGAF (The Open Group Architecture Framework. Kemudian dilakukan perancangan arsitektur target berdasarkan fase Architecture Development Method (ADM) dalam TOGAF, yang mencakup aspek Business Architecture, Information Systems Architecture, dan Technology Architecture. Metode penelitian yang digunakan mencakup observasi, wawancara, dan studi pustaka untuk mengidentifikasi kelemahan sistem yang berjalan dan kebutuhan bisnis. TOGAF diterapkan sebagai pendekatan sistematis dalam perancangan arsitektur yang lebih fleksibel, aman, dan efisien. Teknologi containerization, Kubernetes, dan model keamanan zero-trust digunakan untuk meningkatkan efisiensi sistem. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan TOGAF memberikan pendekatan sistematis dalam perancangan arsitektur yang lebih fleksibel dan berorientasi bisnis. Dengan adanya peningkatan ini, sistem lelang agunan diharapkan mampu memberikan layanan yang lebih optimal bagi nasabah, meningkatkan efektivitas pengelolaan aset perbankan, dan mampu beradaptasi dengan kebutuhan bisnis yang terus berkembang serta meningkatkan daya saing bank di era digital
Teknologi Internet of Things untuk Meningkatkan Mobilitas Penyandang Tunanetra Tanpa Batasan Ruang dan Waktu
This system uses NodeMCU ESP8266 and ESP32 CAM to create a cane for the visually impaired. The HC-SR04 ultrasonic sensor detects objects within a distance of 50 cm and activates a buzzer as a warning. The buzzer will ring if the yellow guidance route is not identified by the TCS3200 color sensor. When the water level hits a certain point, the water sensor sounds the buzzer to warn of flooding. Locations are tracked by the GPS module, and alerts with a link to Google Maps are sent out with the findings. The camera module is used for real-time monitoring through the Blynk platform, allowing users to see the surrounding conditions. This research tests the effectiveness of the tool by measuring the accuracy of GPS signals in various locations and the quality of video from the camera under different conditions. To enhance the effectiveness of the tool, it is recommended to add a DC motor for automatic braking, touch sensors, advanced cameras, and an MP3 module for sound output. The research method includes design and construction as well as data collection from the analysis results during testing. This system is designed to facilitate the travel of visually impaired individuals by providing early warnings about obstacles, going off course, or puddles
