MULTILATERAL DIMENSIONS IN TALENT MANAGEMENT AND EMPLOYEES’ TURNOVER INTENTIONS IN MANUFACTURING INDUSTRIES, SOUTH-WEST, NIGERIA.
The importance of employees to manufacturing industries cannot be overemphasised as they contribute to the industries’ performance and the consequent impact on the nation’s economy. This study, therefore, investigated the contributions of talent management strategies (human resource planning, recruitment and selection, employee development, employee retention, employee health and safety management, and employee performance appraisal) to employees’ turnover intentions in manufacturing industries in South-West Nigeria. The study employed a descriptive survey research design. The target population of the study comprised 3,172 staff working in six manufacturing industries in South-West Nigeria. The study made use of stratified and simple random sampling techniques to select 952 respondents. Two research instruments, the Integrated Talent Management Strategies Questionnaire (ITMSQ) and the Employees’ Turnover Intentions Questionnaire (ETIQ), were validated, and their reliability was ascertained. Two research questions were raised, and two hypotheses formulated were analysed with inferential statistics. The findings reveal a low level of employees’ turnout intentions, the adoption at a high rate of all examined talent management strategies, and significantly combined and relative contributions of talent management strategies to employees’ turnout intentions. Recommendations made include organisations’ need to adopt more talent management strategies, regularly evaluate the effectiveness of integrated talent management practices adopted, and improve retention programmes based on the identified integrated talent management strategies that contribute significantly to turnover employees’ turnout intention.

Rethinking Boundaries: The Ftx Fiasco and The Imperative of Regulating Cryptocurrency Exchanges
A turning point in the sector was the bankruptcy of FTX, a well-known cryptocurrency exchange, in late 2022. Sam Bankman-Fried founded FTX, which at first prospered with its cutting-edge offers. However, because of financial mismanagement and regulatory issues, FTX experienced a liquidity problem and widespread withdrawals. The collapse revealed regulatory shortcomings and generated demands for improved supervision and investor protection on a global scale. It is essential to implement swift changes, such as harmonized laws and transparent auditing, in order to reduce risks and promote market integrity. Nonetheless, regulatory obstacles continue to exist, necessitating a careful balancing act between innovation and supervision. The failure highlights the necessity of educating stakeholders and helping them adjust to the changing cryptocurrency environment. Regulations guarantee stability, investor trust, and institutional involvement, even though they may also present challenges. In the end, the crash of FTX steered the sector toward responsible expansion and emphasized the significance of strong regulatory frameworks in determining the course of cryptocurrency markets

Resetting the Human Resource strategy for organizational performance in Zimbabwe Urban Councils
While literature is awash with evidence that links strategic human resource management to organizational performance, little is known on sustaining the relationship dynamics within a public sector context that is operating under polarized conditions. This study explores the challenges faced in implementing the human resource strategy within urban councils in Zimbabwe to unearth solutions that are sensitive to a polarized work environment. A case study approach was used to collect data from the 32 urban councils in Zimbabwe, which are classified into four categories namely, cities, municipalities, towns and local boards. Stratified sampling was used to identify nine urban local authorities for data collection and purposive sampling identified the participants for interviews. The point of saturation was reached after interviewing 18 participants and the data was analysed using the atlas.ti. This study revealed, a misalignment of the human resource function and the organizational goals, a serious financial resource crisis and a lack of trust between key stakeholders. The study contributes to the development of human resource competencies that respond to the organizational needs in a polarized environment. Further, it incorporates the adoption of technology in the human resource strategy and the need to foster a culture of supporting soft skills such as teamwork and collaboration from the level of elected officials down to the entire workforce.

SCAN YOUR LIFE IN THE DIGITAL ERA
"Distance doesn't separate people, silence does!" Artificial intelligence is a reality and it evolves every day, it simplifies life where it is used in the human’s interest, being already applied in many fields. Is there any risk of moving away from the noble goal of being at the service of the collective good and of being used against people to limit fundamental rights and freedoms? Is there any risk that the totalitarian society will re-establish itself, this time on a global level? The current study presents, in summary, a first analysis of the latest developments in this field, starting from the Chinese experience, as far as it is known and popularized regarding facial recognition made by artificial intelligence for monitoring citizens for the social credit system.

TESTING THE VALIDITY OF THE FISCAL THEORY OF THE PRICE LEVEL (FTPL): A REVIEW OF INTERNATIONAL LITERATURE
The main objective of this paper is to review literature on the Fiscal Theory of the Price Level (FTPL) and its validity in price level determination for both developed and developing economies. FTPL may be understood on the categorisation of the fiscal regime into two types, namely, the Ricardian and non-Ricardian regimes. Empirical evidence for the validity of FTPL on price level determination depends on dominant characteristics of the policy regime. The Ricardian regime does not hold for FTPL, while the non-Ricardian regime holds for FTPL. Based on surveyed empirical studies, time series and panel analysis were used through various estimation methods in the validation of FTPL. Most of the findings from the studies reviewed in this paper validated the FTPL. This means that inflationary episodes tend to be influenced by fiscal dominant regimes. The study concludes that the conduct of fiscal policy influences price dynamics. Hence, fiscal variables should be taken into account by the central bank in its monetary policy rule
EVALUATING TURNAROUND STRATEGIES AND ORGANIZATIONAL PERFORMANCE IN A SMALL BUSINESS–A STUDY OF EKO SUPPORT SERVICE LIMITED.
Numerous associations today experience authoritative decay sooner or later in their life cycles as a result of both outside and inside factors. Much of the time, associations face decline when they neglect to perceive and adjust to outer and interior tensions that compromise the association's presence. The reaction to such circumstances is quite often a significant amount of work to "turn the organization around". This study seeks to examine the effects of turnaround strategies on organizational performance of Eko Support Service Limited. The researcher used a structured questionnaire to collect data. The population of the study was 400 and a sample of 200 respondents was obtained via the Taro Yamane formula. The data collected were analyzed using descriptive statistics such as simple percentages and the relationship between the variables of the model was tested using linear regression analysis. The study found that there is a positive and significant effect of diversification strategy on market share (R2 = 0.127, at p<0.05) and the F-Value yielded 9.335. The result of hypothesis 2 also indicates a positive significant effect of retrenchment strategy on profitability (R2 = 0.388, at p<0.05) and F-Value yielded 60.793 and lastly, top management re-organization strategy has a significant effect on organizational efficiency (R2 = 0.116, at p<0.05) and F-Value yielded 13.034. The study, therefore, concludes top-level management have significant roles to play indecision-making and conceptual skill regarding turnaround strategies and their applicability. The study recommends that top management re-organization in terms of structure, people, leadership, and organizational culture should be given priority in times of distress as this has proven to be a measure to improve organization efficiency
