Factors Affecting Visit Decision Through Visitor Satisfaction at M Bloc Space Jakarta
This research aims to determine the influence of tourist facilities and attractions on visiting decisions through tourist satisfaction at M Bloc Space Jakarta. The research method used is path analysis with a quantitative descriptive research type. The population is all visitors who visited M Bloc Space Jakarta from June to August 2023. The sample taken was 100 visitors who were determined based on the Slovin formula. Sampling was carried out using the Accidental Sampling technique. Partial research results show: (1) Tourist facilities and tourist attractions have a significant influence on visitor satisfaction; (2) tourist facilities, tourist attractions, and visitor satisfaction together have a significant influence on the decision to visit; (3) Tourist facilities and tourist attractions also have a significant influence on visiting decisions through visitor satisfaction. Good tourist facilities and attractions not only directly influence visitor satisfaction, but also have an impact on their decision to return to visit M Bloc Space Jakarta. M Bloc Space managers are expected to (1) establish partnerships with the local creative community and collaborate with local artists, startup companies and music groups to increase the attractiveness of M Bloc Space as a center for creativity, while providing added value for visitors. (2) In addition, they are expected to create interactive experiences at M Bloc Space through exploratory art installations, interesting selfie areas, and creative stations that allow visitors to create their own works. This experience encourages visitors to share with others, strengthening M Bloc Space's appeal as a unique and interesting destination
A Conceptual Development of Risk and Well-Being in Homestay Tourism: Facing the Post Covid-19 Era
Entering the “New Era” tourists could “recharge” their well-being yet tourists also still facing varieties of risks due to more than two years the tourism destination have no visitors therefore, for instance, control and maintenance in their facilities are questionable. The aim of this study is to analyses a conceptual development of Risk and Well-Being to manage tourists to revisit in homestay tourism facing the Post Covid-19 era. This study is using review literatures of Homestay’s Risk Classification; Service Quality; Well-Being; Subjective Well-Being (SWB) on Tourism; Risk Management and SWB; and Risk Management, SWB, and Tourism, then examine a conceptual development. The conceptual development of Risk and Well-Being consists of model and matrix of Risk and Well-Being. The study proposes six proposition: P1: SERVQUAL influences Risk Management; P2: Risk Management serves as a contributor to Eudaimonic well-being; P3: Risk Management serves as a contributor to Hedonic well-being; P4: Eudaimonic well-being leads to Intention to Revisit; P5: Hedonic well-being leads to Intention to Revisit; P6: There are 2 dimensions of Risk and Well-Being Matrix that consists of: reflexivity; reactivity; reconnectability; and recreativity
Event Organization Analysis in Increasing “Westin” Brand Awareness
There are hotel developments in Bali and many new hotels, one of which is The Westin Resort & Spa Ubud Bali (TWRSUB). Organizing online events has the potential to increase brand awareness as offline events cannot be held during a pandemic. This study aims to analyze the event organization in increasing “Westin” brand awareness. The method used is quantitative by analyzing the effect (simple linear regression). Data collection is done by distributing online questionnaires to all invited guests who have attended the event at TWRSUB. Based on the results of the study, it was concluded that: a) there was a significant effect of organizing offline events at TWRSUB on visitor brand awareness, and the coefficient of determination was 0.333, which means that 33.3% of brand awareness was influenced by offline events. b) the significant effect of organizing online events at TWRSUB on visitors' brand awareness, and the coefficient of determination is 0.191, which means that 19.1% of brand awareness is influenced by online events. c) There is a difference in the effect of organizing offline events and organizing online events at The Westin Resort and SPA Ubud on the Brand awareness of visitors. Based on the research findings, the researcher suggests that the management of TWRSUB should more often hold events both offline and online in order to increase the number of visits and brand awareness to TWRSUB.
The Interconnection of Certified Cleanliness, Health, Safety and Environmental Sustainability on Purchased Decision Tourism Businesses in Puncak
Cleanliness, health, safety and environmental sustainability or CHSE is the implementation of hygiene, health, safety, and environmental sustainability which is an operational guide for the tourism sector. The purpose of this study is to analyze the interconnection of certified cleanliness, health, safety and environmental sustainability on purchased decision tourism businesses. The sample was 200 respondents from the tourists who experienced at least one time of visiting Puncak. The method used in this research is quantitative method. The questionnaires will be collected by using Google form. The statistical finding there is positive and strong relationship between certified cleanliness, health, safety and environmental sustainability on purchased decision tourism businesses. The finding of this study first, certified cleanliness, health, safety and environmental sustainability very important on purchased decision tourism businesses. Second, the age of respondent between 25 years old until 44 years old with 83 respondents from a total of 200 respondents, this opportunity for tourism businesses to promote a tourism sustainability for young generation. Third, tourism businesses to maintain the price is not higher than other tourist destinations and it is advisable not to increase the prices. Fourthly, according experienced visiting Puncak, more than four-time experience of respondent visiting Puncak with 129 respondents from a total of 200 respondents from all respondents, suggestion for tourism businesses to maintain products, services and innovate by implementing tourism sustainability businesses
Tourism 5A, Tourism Satisfaction, and Electronic Word of Mouth in a Small Island Destination
Electronic Word of Mouth (EWOM) has gained popularity in academia due to its expansion in online communications, such as Websites, social media, and Blogs for travel and recreation purposes. These online activities in tourism can create an advantage for tourist destinations, especially for businesses and tourism service providers. Therefore, there is an urgent need to look into variables that could affect positive conduct on Electronic Word of Mouth among tourists. The primary purpose of this study is to determine the relationship between Tourism 5A's, Tourism Satisfaction, and conduct Electronic Word of Mouth among domestic tourists in Siargao Island, Philippines. The respondents of this study are domestic tourists. Instrumentation was utilizing a 5 Point-Likert Scale. This study utilizing SmartPLS-SEM, results revealed that among the Tourism 5A's, only the Amenities and Activities have a significant relationship to Tourist Satisfaction and could affect by 84.8 percent. On the other hand, Tourist Satisfaction affects EWOM by 65.7 percent
Revitalization and Development of Cultural Heritage Tourism in Gresik Old City
Together with old cities in Southeast Asia, Gresik is a city visited by many world traders in the 15th century. Some of the old cities have been transformed into tourist areas, while those in Gresik have not yet been realized. This study aims to analyze the government's efforts to revitalize cultural heritage and its use as a tourist attraction in the old town of Gresik. This study uses a qualitative method with a critical descriptive approach with interpretive analysis. Research data were obtained from government archives, library sources in the form of books and scientific articles, interviews with stakeholders in the Gresik old town area. After the data is collected, the research is continued with the process of data analysis using a qualitative interpretive analysis approach. The results of this study can be concluded that activities related to preservation, revitalization and utilization of cultural heritage in the old city of Gresik have not been maximized. This can be seen from the efforts to identify and determine cultural heritage that have not been completed; spatial planning of cities in historical areas still leaves many differences of opinion; and regulations regarding tourism planning in the old city of Gresik do not yet exist. The solution that can be done is to involve the community who owns ancient buildings from data collection to tourism management, so that the tourism that is developed can be sustainable
Effects of Covid- 19 Pandemic on the Tourism Sector: A Case of Central Visayas, Philippines
The pandemic underscored the risks and vulnerability of the tourism sector. The study aims to analyze the effect of the Covid-19 pandemic on the tourism sector in Central Visayas. The pandemic cases in the region, tourist arrivals, affected establishments, tourism-related businesses, and displaced workers were the key indicators that researchers looked into in this study. This study utilized a descriptive method. The investigation was carried out in Central Visayas, Philippines. Secondary data sources were used from a review of records from government agencies to descriptively analyze the effect of the Covid-19 pandemic on the tourism sector of the region. The results show that Central Visayas is among the top regions with the most Covid -19 cases reported; the high positivity rate led to stricter community quarantine protocol which affected the tourist arrival of both the local and foreign markets. The lockdown also resulted in the closure of some accommodation, f & b, and entertainment industries, leading to a massive displacement of workers in the region
Implementation of Green Service Innovation at Food & Beverage Department Beach Resort & Spa
Food & beverage department service has a very important role in a hotel, because the good and bad of the service will affect the level of popularity of the hotel. During the delivery of excellent quality service will create high value, which can create customer satisfaction. The purpose of this study is to analyses the application of green service innovation and what obstacles are faced in the application of green service innovation at Azul beach club Bali Mandira Beach Resort & Spa. This study uses a qualitative descriptive analysis method by dividing three stages, namely reducing data, presenting data and then drawing conclusions. The data collection methods in this study are observation, interviews, literature studies and documentation. The results of this study show that of the 9 (nine) indicators of green service innovation applied to the F&B department at Azul beach club applied 100% well. The obstacles faced in the implementation of green service innovation are maintaining consistency and commitment, product resilience, spending funds and also limited product raw materials
Motivating Factors on Choosing Perth as the Choice Tourism Destination for Education
Motivation is the driving force that ensures the continuity of learning activities and provides direction for learning activities so that the desired goals can be fulfilled. Thus, motivation is very influential on one's learning outcomes. If someone does not have the motivation to learn, then that person will not achieve optimal learning results. The purpose of this study is to analyze how much motivation international students have in choosing Perth as a tourist destination for education. This study uses a survey method. Primary data collection was conducted by interviewing fifteen international students. All respondents answered ten closed questions. Data collected through questionnaires were analyzed qualitatively. The results of this survey state that Australia is one of the most popular countries so that Australia is one of the most visited countries from various parts of the world, especially to learn English and even to continue to a higher level of education. This is because Australia is the safest country, has a comfortable atmosphere, friendly people, and has a good transportation system that makes it easier for people to travel between states.
Green Practice Leading to Green Hotel at Clay Craft Restaurant, Renaissance Bali Uluwatu Resort & Spa
Implementing green hotel is very important to protect environment. One of each department that implements green practice in this hotel is the beverage & food department, However, in practice, Clay Craft Restaurant has not been maximized in the application of green practice regarding green practice. The research work was conducted to analyses the implementation of green practice at Clay Craft Restaurant and green practice lead to green hotel at Renaissance Bali Uluwatu Resort & Spa. The variables used are green practice and green hotel. The total key persons are five. Data collection method used are interview, documentation, questionnaires. Data analysis technique used are descriptive qualitative and descriptive statistics. The implementation of green practice has a percentage value of 79,17 percent. Consist of, Green Food (100,00 percent), Green Action (87,50 percent), andGreen Donation (50,00 percent). Green Practice lead to the Green Hotel show an percentage value of 79,22 percent.Clay Craft Restaurant should improve the implementation of Green Practice to all indicators, especially the green donationand green action
