    Advertising Effectiveness in Purchasing Decision on Instagram

    The aim of this research is to observe the impact of advertising creativity, advertising appeal and endorser credibility to the advertising effectiveness and purchase decision on Instagram. This research was conducted in Ilsproject Store. It is an online and offline store in Denpasar which sells fashion product. The design of this research is a quantitative research which shows a causality relationship between variables. The technique of collecting data was done using questionnaire to 168 consumers. The technique of analyzing data was done using structural equation modeling (SEM) with the AMOS program version 22. The result of this research shows that the advertising creativity has a positive and significant impact of 0,783 to the advertising effectiveness and 0,203 to the purchase decision. The advertising appeal has a positive and significant impact of 0,783 to the advertising effectiveness and 0,648 to the purchase decision. The endorser credibility has a positive and significant impact of 0,803 to the advertising effectiveness and 0,656 to the purchase decision. The advertising effectiveness has a positive and significant impact to the purchase decision with the number 0,831

    The Preference of Chinese Tourists in Choosing Accommodation in Badung Regency

    This study determines the characteristics and preferences of Chinese tourists in choosing accommodations in Badung district. Based on the Bali Central Bureau of Statistics 2016-2018, there is an increase of Chinese tourists' visits to Badung Regency, mainly Nusa Dua, Kuta and Jimbaran famous for its tourist destination accommodations thus makes it highly competitive. This study consists of 50 Chinese tourists as respondents using questionnaires from May-July 2019 selected by incidental sampling, then analyzed by conjoint technique which revealed that most prefer the Nusa Dua area. Characteristically most of them come from Liaoning Province dominated by women aged 15-24 years. Eighty six per cent of these are private employees with a bachelor's degree. It is their first visit to Badung Regency with an average length of stay of 4-6 days accompanied by friends for leisure activities. They obtain information from the internet and 92% of them chose a star rated accommodation.Tourist preferences in accommodation selection are analyzed and summarised as important values. The resulting highest to lowest values are as follows: facilities, Promotion, comfort, location, service, price, and cleanliness

    Rendang Lokan as A Culinary Tourism Attraction in Pesisir Selatan

    The tourism trend in which culinary tourism is one of the favorite tourist attractions that is favored provides opportunities for areas that have distinctive culinary delights, Pesisir Selatan is one of the areas that has traditional culinary specialties which if developed will become one of the tourist attractions. This study aims to see whether the culinary specialties of Pesisir Selatan Rendang Lokan has the potential to be developed as a tourist attraction. This research is descriptive with a qualitative approach, using Damanik and Weber's theory of uniqueness, originality, authenticity and diversity and is supported by Yoeti's theory of tourist attraction, namely having something to see, something to do and something to buy. Data collection was carried out by interview and observation. The results showed that Rendang Lokan has the potential to be developed as a tourist attraction. This can be seen from the uniqueness of its taste, its originality and consistency in the use of the same ingredients that has not changed since the past, its authenticity in the traditional manufacturing process, and its diversity on its flavors. As a tourist attraction, Rendang Lokan also meets the criteria of "Something to be seen" which is the process of making and processing ingredients and spices. It also has "Something to do" which is being able to involve tourists to join in cooking Rendang Lokan, and also "Something to buy" which acts as a souvenir

The implementation of information technology becomes an important aspect in the competition in the digital arena. This study aims to examine in-depth about how the application of HRIS in STPBI. The research results showed that the implementation of HRIS at STPBI is used as a strategic activity in optimizing HR functions. The transformation and implementation of HRIS has several supporting and inhibiting factors. These supporting and inhibiting factors are combined in the development of HR in line with the theoretical and literary concepts used in this study. Through integrated work synergies in the field of staffing, transparency and availability of information is very helpful in decision making.     Building Quality of Human Resources Through Job Skill Based on Local Wisdom of "Pageh, Puguh, Lan Jengah" at Village Credit Institutions (LPD) of Buleleng Regency

    The purpose of the research was to determine how to build quality of human resources through job skill based on “Pageh, Puguh, lan Jengah” at the Village Credit Institute (LPD) in Buleleng Regency. Through testing several relationships to determine the improvement in the quality of human resources in the LPD.This research used a quantitative approach. The data analysis technique used was Structural Equation Modeling-SEM) variance-based or component based SEM, called Partial Least Square (PLS) Visual version 3.0. The sample used 60 people with a t-table value for a significant level of α=0.05 of 1.96. All of the relationships showed positive and significant results. From the results of this research it is known that through the implementation of job skill based on “Pageh, Puguh, lan Jengah” is able to improve the quality of human resources that impacts on improving the performance of the employee in LPD of Buleleng Regency

    WELLNESS TOURISM IN UBUD. “A QUALITATIVE APPROACH TO STUDY THE ASPECTS OF WELLNESS TOURISM DEVELOPMENT”

    This study aims to describe the aspects of wellness tourism development in Ubud. Adopted from Corbin theory (2006)  which states the body, mind and spirit as part of the five dimensions of wellness, namely physical wellness, emotional wellness, social wellness, intellectual wellness, and spiritual wellness, authors would therefore to identify product wellness, wellness activities, wellness dimension and life cycle of development of wellness tourism in Ubud. This study uses qualitative research methods, starting with literature studies related research about wellness tourism and in-depth interviews with wellness service providers in Ubud. In this study, the authors reviewed the literatures and analyzed the information collected from eight wellness service providers. The eight informants are determined by considering the type of wellness service scale such as spa resorts, health resorts, retreat centers, and wellness centers, located in Ubud. The results showed that wellness tourism in Ubud had fulfilled aspects and dimensions of wellness. This is reflected from the identification which was resulted where the highest-demanded wellness products in Ubud, namely yoga retreats, meditation retreats, spiritual retreats, detoxes and spa resorts. While wellness activities in Ubud are considered more relevant to Balinese-Hinduism lifestyles such as customs, cultural-religion activities and valuable-local knowledge of Balinese herbs in which are part of the wellness experience offered in Ubud.     COVID-19 and earthquake disaster both give effect in Tourism Attraction, then in this study will compare the difference impact between COVID-19 and earthquake disaster, especially in Yogyakarta. This study deals with the hospitality industry condition during Corona Virus Disease (COVID-19) and earthquake disaster in Yogyakarta 2006. This study is to seek an answer to these two research questions: 1. What is the effect of the COVID-19 virus on Tourism Attraction in Yogyakarta? 2. Is the impact of the COVID-19 virus on Tourism attractions in Yogyakarta has a more severe impact than an earthquake in 2006? From the results of this study, it was found that COVID-19 is more dangerous than earthquakes, particularly in the economy sector. The method used in this study is a descriptive qualitative method; the problem that can be investigated by qualitative descriptive research refers to quantitative studies, comparative studies (comparisons).     DEFINING SOCIAL SUSTAINABILITY AND SOCIALLY CONSCIOUS TOURIST IN SUSTAINABLE TOURISM DEVELOPMENT

    Sustainable Tourism Development (STD) consists of three dimensions known as environment, economic and social. Although these three dimensions influence each other and cannot stand on their own, and are assumed to be supportive to each other and compatible. However, most studies focus on the environmental and economic dimensions. The social dimension gains less attention and is difficult to attain and operationalize. In order to implement a balanced and successful STD, it needs to be supported by all the tourism stakeholder, including the tourist itself. Therefore, it is necessary to explore the social dimension of STDs and also tourist behavior regarding their social conscious. However, the discussions and understanding of social dimension in STD and socially conscious behavior are still limited. This study aims to define a clear understanding and definition of social dimension of STD which in this study is referred as social sustainability and also a socially conscious tourist. Starting with exploring the aspect of social dimensions formulation and exploring clear definitions of social dimensions of STD's and socially conscious tourist. This study is an exploratory study that aims to explore the boundaries of social dimension of STD and to develop a construct of socially responsible tourist. This study is a qualitative approaches, which includes systematic literature review and Delphi method to obtain expert judgment to gather social dimension aspects of sustainable development, especially in STD.
