Factors Affecting Tourists Satisfaction in Candirejo Tourism Village, Indonesia
Candirejo Village is a tourism village which focuses on the natural nuance of the village. The current challenge faced by Candirejo Village is how to significantly increase the number of tourists per year. In dealing with this challenge, the management should manage tourists satisfaction. The factors that need to be paid attention to the tourists' satisfaction are the attraction, facility, service, accessibility, and price. This study aims to examine and analyze the effect of attraction, facility, service, accessibility, and price on the tourist's satisfaction of Candirejo Village. The analysis results show that all of the independent variables jointly affect the tourist's satisfaction in Candirejo Village. Despite that, the price was the only factor individually affecting the tourist's satisfaction in Candirejo Village. Therefore, attraction, facility, service, accessibility, and price are multi-factors. Optimal synergized of these factors can increase the tourist's satisfaction in Candirejo Village
THE OPTIMIZATION OF EMPLOYEE PERFORMANCE IMPROVEMENT REVIEWED FROM THE PERSPECTIVES OF PERFORMANCE ALLOWANCES, WORK MOTIVATION, AND WORK DISCIPLINE IN THE LPD BANYUNING, LPD LUMBANAN, LPD PADANG BULIA, LPD SARI MEKAR
The purpose of this study was to find out how to Improve Employee Performance reviewed from the Perspectives of Performance Allowances, Work Motivation, and Work Discipline in the LPD Banyuning, LPD Lumbanan, LPD Padang Bulia, LPD Sari Mekar. This study used a quantitative approach. The data analysis technique used in the structural equation model (Structural Equation Modeling-SEM) was based on variance or component based SEM, which is famously called Partial Least Square (PLS) Visual version 3.0. All relationships examined showed positive and significant results. For this reason, in its realization, the LPD Banyuning, LPD Lumbanan, LPD Padang Bulia, LPD Sari Mekar were expected to be able to improve the performance of the Employees with the Performance Allowances. The realization of employee performance, this is also the impact of the existence of Work Motivation, Performance Allowances, and Work Discipline that will have an impact on improving employee performance in the LPD Banyuning, LPD Lumbanan, LPD Padang Bulia, LPD Sari Mekar
Reflecting on Hospitality Students’ Cognitive Diversity Impact on Service Quality and Organizational Performance Standards: A Case-Study in Cy Seasonal Hotels
This study examines the impact of hospitality students’ cognitive diversity style on service quality and performance standards in seasonal hotels. A survey research method approach was implemented through a quantitative examination of a purposeful sample, collected from three-, four-, and five-star seasonal hotels in Cyprus. The survey was administered face-to-face to 316 students and 93 managers. For hypotheses testing, the Cognitive Style Inventory was adapted. Study results reveal students’ educational preparedness, professional reliability, and the positive impact of their cognitive diversity style on service quality and organizational performance standards in seasonal hotels. While students offer a diversified pool of potential candidates to successfully fulfil qualified and skilful required vacancies, a twofold requirement emerges. First is the introversion requirement related to the curriculum design of hospitality educational institutions. Second is the extroversion requirement, which sees the responsibility of seasonal hotel managers, as future employers, to be linked and guided on students’ cognitive style development via an intuitive collaboration with local hospitality educational institutions
Analysis of Entrepreneurship Development Model on Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Entities in Badung Market Area, Denpasar City
This research aims to observe the efforts done by the MSME (Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises) entities in developing the entrepreneurship and to observe the difficulties which were encountered by the MSME entities in the process of entrepreneurship development. This research was designed by using a qualitative approach. The location of this research is in the area of Badung Market in Denpasar City. The primary data is obtained through the research informants. The informants in this research are the MSME entities in Badung Market area in Denpasar. The data validation testing was done using data triangulation. The data were analyzed using the descriptive qualitative technique. The result shows that the entrepreneurship model which is done in Badung Market is based on the togetherness concept. This togetherness concept means the concept is of the people, by the people and for the people. The development process makes the MSME entities in Badung Market, Denpasar more creative and aware in seeing any opportunities to open a new business. This process is certainly influenced by many factors, both internal and external such as, education, sociology, organization, tradition and environment. Those factors formed locus of control, creativity, innovation, implementation, and growth which then will develop to become a great entrepreneur. The development process is divided into some development stages which are innovation process, support process, implementation process and growth process
Status of Agri-Tourism Business in Central Luzon, Philippines: Basis for Development Plan
This study's main objective is to describe farmers' profile that venture into agri-tourism business, analyze the status of their business operation, determine the best practices and problems encountered by agri-tourism businesses in Central Luzon, which served as basis in crafting a development plan. The descriptive research method using a purposive sampling technique was employed in selecting the target respondents who were surveyed and interviewed using two separate sets of modified survey questionnaires. Agritourism businesses were accessible, family-run farms, affiliated with tourism and agriculture-related organizations, and compliant with required facilities and safety measures. Visitors were from all walks of life and came from within and outside the country. Classes, seminars, workshop, and tours were their top service offerings. Trust and confidence, referral system, hands-on operation, and strict financial monitoring were the identified best practices. At the same time, labour shortage, being still a niche market, price fluctuation, seasonality of farm products and services, insufficient staff skills, and significant capital requirements were the problems in running agri-tourism farms
The Development of Leadership Style of Chief Village Based on Local Wisdom "Asta Brata" in Buleleng Regency
The purpose of this study was to determine how the leadership of Asta Brata of the Chief Village and Leader Member Exchange was able to influence the performance of village apparatus in Buleleng Regency. This study used an associative quantitative method. The data analysis technique used in this study is a variance-based structural equation modelling (SEM) or component based SEM, which is known as Partial Least Square (PLS) Visual version 3.0. All the relationships studied showed positive and significant results. In its realization, Asta Brata’s leadership is able to improve the performance of village apparatus. Likewise, the Leader Member Exchange is able to increase the Performance of Village apparatus. The indicators that show the highest score are Kwera Brata and Loyalty, the combination of these indicators is a strong benchmark in improving the performance of village apparatus in Buleleng Regency
Tourism Satisfaction Analysis of Tourism Packages as Tourism Products in Paksebali Village, Klungkung, Bali
The purpose of this study was to determine the level of satisfaction of tourists who visit and enjoy tour packages as a product of the tourism village of Paksebali, Klungkung, Bali. Data were collected by interviewing, observing, and distributing questionnaires to 100 tourists (incidental sampling). Data were analyzed using qualitative and quantitative descriptive analysis techniques through Index Performance Analysis (IPA) and Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI). The result of the study is the tourists are satisfied. The indicators considered important by tourists are the friendliness of tour guides and the performance that exceeds their expectations. Indicator considered less important by tourists are the procedures for serving food and beverages, and the price suitability for tour packages. An indicator considered less important by tourists and felt too excessive is the cleanliness of the village environment. The tourists also hope that the tour time will be extended so they can be more involved in community activities

FACTORS OF INFLUENCE IN CHOOSING ACCOMMODATION: A STUDY WITH REFERENCE TO MAS VILLAGE, AN ARTISTIC HERITAGE VILLAGE IN UBUD - BALI
This paper attempts to identify the factors that influence foreign tourists to choose accommodations in Mas Village – an artistic heritage village in Ubud, Bali. As the accommodations are in the village, tourists’ motive in choosing accommodation may be different from accommodations in the big cities. The research took place in Mas Village, considering this village has been experiencing a big spike in the growth of tourists accommodation, while based on the data of 2012 until 2017 – the 87 percents of the tourists who visit this village are foreign tourists. It is known that Mas Village is one of villages in Bali fundamentally identified as an artistic countryside by focusing in artistic of wood carving since 1930s. Primary data is collected from the foreign tourists as respondents who stay in accommodations in Mas Village during June 2019, then the data is analysed using Factor analysis. The result of the factor analysis shows that location emerges as the key factor that influences tourists in choosing accommodation among three others factors. Additionally, an interesting finding from the study is how local touch and security form as one factor. By understanding the influence factors, those accommodations in Mas Village will be able to develop marketing strategies that appeal to this segment of tourists and create meaningful points of differences. However, as this research is focusing in foreign tourists, the future studies concerning how domestic tourists choose their accommodation in Mas Village is highly expected, in order to compare with foreign tourists’ perspective in this research
A SWOT ANALYSIS OF ONLINE ROOM RESERVATION IN HOTEL SECTORS. (A CASE STUDY IN BALI HSOVEREIGN HOTEL)
The present study discusses a SWOT analysis of online reservation applied in HSovereign Hotel, Tuban, Bali. The hotel expects to obtain the easier and faster services in room reservation in hotel sectors by using internet media through online process (e-commerce). However, there are several challenges occur in practice as seen in HSovereign Hotel. As a result, the quality of thereservationservices is considered bad, not professional, and ultimately gives impact upon consumers’ satisfaction. Therefore, the problem that will be observed in the present study is how the advantages, disadvantages, opportunities and threats of e-commerce usage in HSovereign Hotel can be identified. A descriptive-qualitative research is the type of the present study. The data of the present studywere obtained from observation, interview, and documentation in order to find out the advantages, disadvantages, opportunities and threats of online reservation in H Sovereign Hotel. Furthermore, the theories used in the present study are: hotel, reservation, room online reservation, definition of e-commerce, and room occupancy rate. The data were presented in both analytical descriptive and narrative, and also supported by presenting tables, maps, and figures. Based on the result of analysis, the advantages of e-commerce usage in online reservation services which attracted more residents to come is the effectiveness of online reservation system in H Sovereign Hotel. On contrary, the disadvantages of online reservation relies on its dependency oninternet connection and server system in H Sovereign Hotel. The opportunity can be identified from using online reservation is it could be a media promotion which enables consumers to reserve in the last minute, and the threats found are cancellations ensue and fake bookings that extremely threaten information system of room reservation in H Sovereign Hotel
