The Uniqueness of Megeret Pandan Tradition as Tourist Attraction in Tenganan Village, Karangasem, Bali
Megeret Pandan or mekare-kare is a tradition in Tenganan Village, Karangasem. This tradition is related to local ritual activities and beliefs in which all men from children to adults take turn performing in an arena to play dexterity match as fighters by using pandan leaves, a shield from rattan wicker and traditional costume. This tradition is potential to be tourist attraction since the tourists are welcome to participate. The purpose of this study is to determine the existence the tradition of Megeret Pandan as a tourist attraction in Tenganan Village and its relation to the defense of ancestral heritage. This study used qualitative method and it was conducted through inductive process. The theory was Structural Functional Theory of Talcott Parson concerning action system, in which the objective conditions were united with collective commitment upon certain value for the development of a social action form. Based on the research finding, it was concluded that the tradition of Megeret Pandan which was packaged in such a way as tourist attraction could be tourist attraction without leaving the sacred values within.
Online to offline sales method in the e-commerce industry in denpasar
The purpose of this study is to determine the use of the online to offline (O2O) sales method in the e-commerce industry in Denpasar and to know the application of online to offline (O2O) can increase trust in e-commerce. The research design used in this study is a qualitative approach. The data collection techniques used were observation, interview, and documentation. The results of this study indicate the use of the online to offline sales method has many benefits if it is supported by adequate facilities and infrastructure, besides that the selection of offline stores must also be strategic. to facilitate customers to take goods that have been ordered online, in this study it was found that the sales method online to offline can answer any doubts of consumers and change the social status of e-commerce. Using online to offline service dimensions in the form of physical evidence, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy can increase consumer confidence in e-commerce

In Bali, in particular, more and more tourist attractions are made for the development of tourist areas that have not been touched by tourists. This tourist destination is undeniably a place to compete to visit. New destinations are always popping up on the island of Bali. One of the contemporary tourist destinations that is now crowded with tourists is Blangsinga Gianyar Waterfall. You could say, this now popular waterfall is a new but old destination. The reason is because this waterfall was popularly known as Tegenungan Waterfall. Research related to the development strategy of Blangsinga waterfall tourism. Blangsinga Waterfall is actually the same waterfall as Tegenungan Waterfall. The difference in the two names is only obtained because of the login access used. The name Tegenungan is attached to this waterfall because it passes through Banjar Tegenungan. Similar conditions are also used because of the use of access via Blangsinga Village. Its development is very necessary in the context of the existence of these tourist destinations. One of the efforts made by Blangsinga Village as a tourist village is the preservation of the Kecak dance which has begun to recede amidst the rampant competition for the Kecak dance in Bali. Creative activities carried out by village officials by involving local communities in the effort to preserve the Blangsinga Kecak dance which was staged at the Blangsinga waterfall is a new breakthrough in order to promote this tourist attraction. This research is a preliminary study of how the best strategy for developing a tourist attraction with the main goal of tourists. The approach taken is qualitative, with reference to the theory of creativity and promotion theory Tour. In order to spread evenly, and obtain comprehensive data, the focus of the research is on Blangsinga Waterfall, Saba Village, Blahbatuh District, Gianyar Regency. Data will be collected through interviews, literature studies are expected, academically, this research is able to examine and explore more deeply with respect to the background, socialization patterns that are applied, and their implications for the local community as well as tourists, especially those visiting Blangsinga Waterfall, Saba Village. , Blahbatuh District, Gianyar Regency. Then it is also expected to be one of the contributions of thought in developing innovative, creative, and sustainable culture-based tourism
Balancing the high tech and high touch in education: the implementation of humanistic approach on edu-recreation concept in politeknik pariwisata bali
The implementation of a humanistic approach in educational institutions could be guidance in balancing High Tech and High Touch. The humanistic approach is defined as a physical and spiritual activity to maximize the development process, as well as an effort to master the treasures of knowledge in a series of overall personality formations. This research is qualitative research that analyzes the application of the humanistic approach in the design of the Edu-Recreation concept at the Bali Tourism Polytechnic (Politeknik Pariwisata Bali) through the study of documents and other literature, and also observation and interview. The results of the research are proposed as input for developing existing designs so that they can have a more significant influence in improving the quality of education at the Bali Tourism Polytechnic. As the result, the Edu-Recreation concept design at the Bali Tourism Polytechnic has implemented values in the humanistic education approach, namely the development of the affective aspects of students and the freedom to develop self-potential.

The effect of green product and green promotion on increased consumer loyalty at starbucks coffee
Increasing public awareness of the environment has made companies implement green product and green promotion strategies to increase consumer loyalty. So, the purpose of this study was to determine the influence between green product and green promotion on consumer loyalty at Starbucks Coffee. This study used a sample of 203 respondents who were processed by multiple linear regression. The results showed that the green product and green promotion partially had a positive and significant effect on consumer loyalty. Green products have the biggest influence on consumer loyalty. This shows that green products have an important role in increasing consumer loyalty at Starbucks Coffee. Also the green promotion can increase the consumer loyalty too
The value of bali's local wisdom on hotel employees in badung regency
The island of Bali is famous as one of the most popular tourist destinations in the world. Thus, the development of Bali tourism from year to year is strongly influenced by various factors. Culture becomes an important factor for tourists choosing Bali as their preferred tourist destination. In order to support the tourism, the human resource also becoming the significant aspect that need to be taken into account. Given the importance of the role of human resources in the tourism sector, especially in the hospitality subsector, this study analyzed the value of Bali's local wisdom among star hotels in Badung regency. this study also wanted to find out how the phenomenon of local wisdom value in Bali, especially in Badung regency. Identification of the value of local Balinese wisdom is expected to gain contribution of ideas and thought in human resource development to the hospitality sub-sector in Bali in general, and Badung Regency in particular. Through literature studies and questionnaire consisted of 34 questions to measure the six cultural dimension such as Power Distance, Individualism vs. Collectivity, Masculinity vs. Femininity, Uncertainty Avoidance, Long-term orientation vs. Short-term orientation, and Indulgence vs. Restraint, the data then analysed through the VSM (value survey module) developed. The results shows that Badung regency’s star hotels’ employees have a culture with a high level of collectivism, shows a low power distance value, tend to have Feminine culture, have a culture with a relatively low level of Uncertainty Avoidanc
LEVEL OF COMMUNITY PARTICIPATION IN LAKSANA TOURISM VILLAGE, IBUN DISTRICT, BANDUNG REGENCY, WEST JAVA, INDONESIA
Laksana Tourism Village has the potential to become a better tourist destination. The situation shows that the management of community-based tourism villages is not good enough. This study aims to determine the level of community participation. This study uses a quantitative approach with survey techniques. The object analyzed is the community involved in tourism activities. The data analyzed are the results of interviews, questionnaires, literature studies, and field documentation. Research data were analyzed using descriptive statistics with a Likert scale. The results of this study are that community participation in the Tourism Village at the planning stage is still dominated by external parties and certain groups of people, at the implementation stage it involves almost the entire community, the utilization stage of the results shows there is a clear profit sharing but not yet transparent report, and at the evaluation stage there is no continuous evaluation.
THE ENGLISH SCANNING SKILL OF BILINGUAL AND MONOLINGUAL TOURISM STUDENTS IN DENPASAR TOURISM ACADEMY
This study aimed at figuring out the access of Indonesian students to English and figuring out the difference of scanning skill possessed by bilingual students and monolingual students. The subject of this study was 31 2nd semester students from Denpasar Tourism Academy, Bali. The data was collected through a questionnaire and a provided test. The result of the questionnaire shows that students have more access to English through films, listening to English songs, computer games and their mobile phone when they are chatting. From the questionnaire is also found that 42% of the students were monolingual -they use Bahasa only at school and at home- and 58% of the students were bilingual –they use Bahasa and local language-. The result of the test shows that students who are monolingual in that school outperform the bilingual with the average score is 78.00, meanwhile the bilingual students have the average score with score 64.00. It implies that the monolingual students can answer easily the questions given by the teacher than the bilingual students because the use of Bahasa Indonesia only helps them to understand the instructio
Work-Life Balance and Job Stress of Employees of a Lone Agricultural College in Bulacan, Philippines
This study utilized the descriptive correlational research method wherein a modified survey questionnaire was used to gather data from 107 employees of BASC. Frequency count, percentage, Pearson's r Correlation Coefficient was used in data analysis. The majority of the respondents are female, married, with below five-year work experience and rank and file employees. The total work-life balance of the majority of the respondents was out of balance as more than half of them felt that their work-life balance in terms of work and career, friends and family, fitness and health, fun/recreation and money is on the edge while the rest is out of balance. Only in terms of romance and significant other did they believe that they have a right balance work-life situation. Among the demographic profile, age, educational attainment, and work-life balance in all the seven areas were found to be significantly correlated to the job stress of the employees in BASC
