The Role of Pentahelix Actors for Sawahlunto City to be Deemed a Unesco World Heritage
The coal mine closures have turned Sawahlunto into an idle city. By integrating the post-mining sites landscape and the Dutch colonial architecture heritage, Sawahlunto becomes a city of a kind. Therefore, the local government and the legislature (DPRD) as well as other stakeholders created a vision for Sawahlunto as a “A Cultural Tourism Mining City” in 2020, set in Local Government Regulation (PERDA) No 2 of 2001. The year 2020 was set as a target to motivate the local government and stakeholders to achieve the vision. As a matter of fact, Sawahlunto has been included as a World Heritage site by UNESCO as of 2019. This research aims to understand the role of stakeholders in developing and rebranding Sawahlunto, by using the Pentahelix model. This research uses a qualitative method along with the case study approach as well as utilizing interviews, observations and archival study as the types of research methodology. Finally, the result of this research shows that the stakeholders carry out their roles well and fully support the vision of Sawahlunto city
The Influence of Experiential Marketing on Visitors’ Satisfaction and Intention to Revisit at Batur Camp Bali
Experiential marketing which consists of sense, feel, think, act, and relate is a marketing approach that can generate sensations and experiences, can be used to create tourist satisfaction and become the basis of revisit intention. The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of experiential marketing to satisfaction and revisit intention. The data in this study were obtained through distributing questionnaires by online to 100 respondents who had experienced on undertook camping at the Batur Camping Ground. Data were analyzed using the SmartPLS based on Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) method. The results showed that sense, feel, act, and relate significantly influence satisfaction. Feel, think, and relate significantly influence revisit intention. Tourist satisfaction significantly influence tourists' intention to revisit. This study suggests that Batur Camping Ground management must improve services in order to keep maintaining tourist satisfaction and increase tourists' decision in undertaking camping
Art Capital to Support the Establishment of Tourism Village of Tri Eka Buana Village in Sidemen, Karangasem
The various potentials of each village or area in Bali has made it an island of prosperous wonders for tourism. Tri Eka Buana Village currently is in the process of becoming a tourism village, where Arak, a local liquor, is the main magnet. The aim of this research is 1) identify other aspects that support the development for the tourism village; 2) to identify the arts and cultures to be a capital that can support the development of the tourism village; 3) the attitude of the artists in the village towards the development of the tourism village. This research is a qualitative research, using purposive sampling to retrieve qualitative data from five determined interviewees, and uses the concept of tourism village and green tourism as the applicative theory. The result shows that, 1). although Tri Eka Buana Village’s main magnet is arak, arts and culture reside together in the village as an important aspect for the establishment of the tourism village; 2). this village has several forms of arts and culture such as Utamaning Malini Dance, Jaga-jaga Dance, pesantian, drama gong (theater), and traditional dances that are commonly used as entertainment; and 3).the artists in this village is willing to support the establishment of the tourism village by creating new dances and performances that are more suitable to showcase to future tourists
Strategies for Marketing Djuanda Forest Park in the Effort to Increase the Number of Visitors
Djuanda Forest Park as a conservation forest has great potential as a tourist destination because there are a lot of attractions in one area. Nevertheless, the number of domestic and foreign visitors in several months is still low. Therefore, this study was aimed at determining and analyzing the internal and external environment of Djuanda Forest Park as well as formulating the marketing strategies to increase the number of visitors. This study first set the internal and external factors and formulated the SWOT Matrix. The analysis results based on the internal-external analysis suggested that the strategic position of the forest park lies in cell V (five) by which the applied strategies are to hold and maintain through the market penetration and product development. Multimodal Discourse Analysis of Religious Tourism on Madura Island, Indonesia
The objective of study is to explore the relationship between visual and verbal elements within the frame of multimodal discourse analysis in Madura tourism promotion. Promotion in the form of moving images with verbal language makes it easier for readers and potential tourists to see tourist attractions more closely and realistically. This study is descriptive qualitative using 3 videos of Madura tourism promotion, in particular tourism promotions of Bangkalan, Pamekasan, and Sampang regencies on Madura Island, Indonesia. Only scene representing religious tourism as the data of this study in which there are 8 data of religious tourism images. There are two parts of data analysis: visual and verbal analyses. Visual semiotic mode of scenes and images were analyzed using visual grammar by Kress and van Leeuwen (2006). In addition, verbal data are all of utterances generated during the scenes and the still images were analyzed based on appraisal framework by Martin and White (2005) especially on the attitude system. Results show that tourism promotional videos use more than one mode of communication or semiotic system elements to create meaning through representational and interactive structures, compositional meanings, and verbal language. Analysis of Tirta Empul Development Strategy as Wellness Tourist Attraction in New Normal Era
The Covid-19 pandemic is a very dangerous epidemic that affects the order of human lives around the world. The existence of the Covid-19 pandemic has made everyone without exception have to be able to adapt to the new life order or new normal era in accordance with health protocols. In this new normal era, many people have begun to take short, cost-effective trips and tend to seek pleasure and health simultaneously to reduce boredom and stress when forced to stay at home during lockdowns. One of the tourism trends that is coming back is Wellness Tourism. The current trend of Wellness Tourism is one of the options for restoring the passion of tourism in Bali Province which will encourage public interest in travelling. Tirta Empul is one of the tourist attractions that have the potential to support wellness tourism as a Wellness Tourist Attraction. This research was conducted in Tirta Empul which aims to analyze development strategies related to the wellness tourist attraction. This study uses data processing analysis carried out by SWOT through an analysis process of internal factors (IFAS) and external factors (EFAS). The results showed that the Grand Strategy obtained in this study is the S (Strength) - O (Opportunity) Strategy, so that there are opportunities to develop Tirta Empul as a Wellness Tourist Attraction in a New Normal Era
Investigating The Impact of Sensory Experience on Budget Hotel Rooms to Maximize Guests Satisfaction
This study aims to investigate the sensory experience from guests who have stayed at a budget hotel in Bandung, West Java Province. Although only offers low prices, simple facilities, and less spacious room, yet a budget hotel has been able to maximize comfort and satisfaction for their guests. Subsequently, the number of budget hotels increase significantly in the past few decades and create different themes for hospitality industry. These themes create unique experience and they are felt by five senses of guests during their visits. The experience is divided into visual, tactile, gustatory, auditory, and olfactory. The method used in this research is a qualitative descriptive analysis from 145 questionnaires which were collected on the field. The results showed that the sensory experience had a dominant impact on guest satisfaction in staying at a budget hotel, especially in tactile and visual

The purpose of this study was to determine the consumer behavior of Instagram users in Marketing 4.0 based on Customer Path 5A. Data collection techniques used observation and in- depth interview , with health protocols implemantation in New Normal. Stages in data analysis include data reduction (data reduction), presenting data (data display) and drawing conclusions and verification (conclusion drawing / verification). Based on the results of research conducted on four NSB Beauty Studio customers who use social media Instagram, the conclusion of consumer purchasing decisions for NSB Beauty Studio service have basically through all stages of Customer Path 5A, starting from problem recognition to post-purchase behavior about Aware, Appeal, Ask, Act, and Advocate. All informants also said that Instagram helped them get to aware and make purchases of the NSB Beauty Studio brand
Measuring the passion of entrepreneurship spirit on students in industrial revolution era 4.0
The aim of this research is to observe the effect of self-efficacy, earning expectation and endorser credibility on the entrepreneurial interest and entrepreneurial readiness. This research was done in Undiknas Graduate School. The research design was quantitative research, which was a causality relationship between the variables. The technique of collecting data was done using questionnaire to 102 students. The technique of analyzing data was done using structural equation modeling (SEM) with AMOS version 22 program. The result of this research showed self-efficacy had a positive and significant effect of 0,429 on the entrepreneurial interest and 0,416 on the entrepreneurial readiness. Earning expectation had a positive and significant effect of 0,454 on the entrepreneurial interest and 0,198 on the entrepreneurial readiness. Social media had a positive and significant effect of 0,363 on the entrepreneurial interest and 0,440 on the entrepreneurial readiness. Advertisement effectiveness had a positive and significant effect on the entrepreneurial readiness of 0,595.
Community Evaluation on The Effects of Tourism in Doot Poktoy, Lanuza
Doot Poktoy is an emerging surfing destination in Mindanao. In developing tourism, Policymakers could aim for long-term tourism growth. Sustainable tourism is intensely dependent on the host community's support, view, and contribution to tourism programs; this safeguards the community and diminishes any adverse effects that can harm the environment and culture. However, literature is scarce about comparing the positive and negative effects of tourism. Thus, this paper focuses on the following objectives: Determine the positive and negative effects of tourism and; Test the significant difference between the positive and negative responses. The study gathered 93 responses from Doot Poktoy residents'. It utilized the descriptive approach, with questionnaires indicating the agreement level in the values of tourism development: economic, socio-cultural, and environmental. The results revealed that the respondents had experienced both negative and positive effects of tourism and that they have a more negative view of tourism than a positive one
