Strengthening Religious Moderation Values among Children in Babakanmulya Village, Cigugur Sub-District, Kuningan Regency through Traditional Dance
The construction of religious moderation in children through dance in Babakan Mulya is a strategic initiative to strengthen moderate attitudes in a pluralistic society. Implemented by KKN Religious Moderation IV students using the Sisdamas approach, the program involved four cycles: initial socialization, social mapping, participatory planning, and program implementation and evaluation. Survey results revealed misconceptions about local arts being tied to specific religions. The program addressed this by promoting tolerance and diversity through cultural activities, such as dance group formation. Local teenagers trained the children in dance, enhancing interfaith and ethnic relations. The program ended with an evaluation showing increased understanding among children about respecting diversity and maintaining harmony. The final results indicated that children began to appreciate cultural and religious diversity, contributing to a more moderate and harmonious society in the future

Validation of the Interpersonal Forgiveness Indonesian Scale: An examination of its psychometric properties using confirmatory factor analysis
In recent years, research has highlighted the essential role of forgiveness in fostering interpersonal relationships and preserving social harmony. However, more precise measurement methods are necessary, particularly in the Indonesian context. The purpose of this study was to develop the Interpersonal Forgiveness Indonesian Scale. The investigation rigorously explores the construct by implementing confirmatory factor analysis. To evaluate the instrument's reliability, we used McDonald's omega coefficient. This study included 549 adults aged 18 to 35 from Yogyakarta, with a mean age of 23.09, including 258 males and 291 females. The loading values for revenge and avoidance factors were .724 to .841 and .796 to .845, respectively; while benevolence varied more, ranging from .538 to .824. The McDonald's omega value of .953 indicated excellent reliability. Robust correlations between the items and factors on the Interpersonal Forgiveness Indonesian Scale demonstrate its effectiveness and relevance in Indonesia. Future research should explore the dynamics of interpersonal forgiveness across diverse regions in Indonesia to gain a better understanding of the phenomenon within distinct cultural contexts
The effect of mindful parenting on gender-based violence: Father involvement as a mediator
Gender-based violence (GBV) has increased in the last decade, highlighting the need for significant attention to the prevention of physical and/or sexual violence. This situation is partially influenced by parenting in the family and is specifically reinforced by the involvement of fathers. This study aims to examine the effect of mindful parenting on GBV, with the father's involvement in parenting as a mediator. Data were collected using accidental sampling from 739 people (503 women and 236 men) aged between 18 to 23 years old. The instruments used in the study were the Interpersonal Mindfulness in Parenting (IM-P) scale (31 items, α = .953); the Inventory of Father Involvement (IFI) (26 items, α = .915); and the Social Norms and Beliefs about Gender-based Violence (GBV) Scale (30 items, α = .935). Mediation analysis served to test the research hypothesis. The research results indicate that mindful parenting has a significant effect on GBV, with the direct effect (β = -0.244, p < .001) being lower than the indirect effect (β = -0.582, p < .001), and the results of the Sobel test (z = -11.649, p = .000, p < .001) suggest that this effect is mediated by the father's involvement in parenting. These findings emphasize the importance of increasing societal awareness regarding the significance of father involvement in parenting to reduce gender-based violence. Fathers should provide complete care by being physically and psychologically present, which could alleviate the mother's burden and diminish gender-based violence
How do grit and academic stress influence academic performance? The role of academic self-efficacy as a mediator and moderator variable
Online learning systems are currently the primary approach to delivering information and facilitating learning for postgraduate students, replacing traditional in-person methods in many contexts. To succeed academically in this environment, students must adapt to these systems, a process heavily influenced by personal attributes such as grit and self-efficacy. These factors play a crucial role in helping students navigate the unique challenges of online learning, including increased workloads and technological demands. This study examines the role of academic self-efficacy in mediating the influence of grit and moderating the influence of academic stress on academic achievement. The study approach is quantitative, employing a simple random sampling technique with data collection through a online questionnaire. The data analysis methods include descriptive statistical analysis, Pearson correlation, and structural equation modeling (SEM). The participants were 382 Master’s students, consisting of 131 men (34.3%) and 251 women (65.7%), with an age range of 22-28 years. Most participants belonged to the Makassar ethnic group (33.0%), with the remaining 67.0% comprising individuals from various other ethnic groups, both within and outside South Sulawesi. The results show an average academic self-efficacy score of 3.36 (SD = 1.08). The findings indicate that academic self-efficacy functions as a perfect mediator in the effect of grit on academic achievement (β= .130; t = 6.366 > 1.96) and as a moderator in the effect of academic stress on academic achievement (β = .027; t = 5.850 > 1.96). Therefore, academic self-efficacy is a major psychological resource that drives academic performance, with the structural model explaining 72.4% of the variability in academic achievement. The study implications support the development of a theoretical model as a basis for implementing programs to improve academic self-efficacy and support students’ academic performance in an online environment
Development of a mindful parenting model for mothers with children in early childhood
Mothers’ care of young children determines their well-being physically, emotionally and cognitively. It is important to practice effective parenting with affection, unconditional acceptance and care, an approach known as mindful parenting. This study aims to develop a mindful parenting model based on perceived social support, self-compassion, confidence in parenting, and gratitude as mediator variables in mothers of young children. A quantitative approach is taken, with purposive sampling employed. The study respondents were 303 mothers with children in early childhood (3-6 years), aged 20-36, living at home with their children, and residing in cities/districts in East Java province, Indonesia. The instruments used to measure mindful parenting were the Mindfulness in Parenting Questionnaire (MIPQ), Self-compassion with Skala Welas Diri (SWD), Parental Self-efficacy with Self-Efficacy Parental Task Index (SEPTI); and Perceived Social Support with Interpersonal Survey Evaluation List (ISEL) Analysis was conducted using the path analysis technique. The study results indicate that a mindful parenting model can be built based on the perceived social support of mothers, self-compassion, and mothers’ perceptions of self-efficacy in parenting, which are fully mediated by the gratitude of mothers for their young children, with a value of Q² = .274 or 27.4%. This finding suggests that gratitude is a major factor that enables mothers to practice mindful parenting. The research findings can be used to help develop intervention programs for parents, specifically mothers of young children, and related stakeholders, and can also be developed in future research
