EMOTIONS’ CATEGORIZATION FOR A BETTER EDUCATION
Education can be enhanced via the application of the categorization method. Emotions’ categorization has been well addressed by the scientific community. However, research on emotions carried out in different disciplines enriches the existing knowledge with new findings and novel scientific contributions. The research aims at analysing scientific literature on emotions’ categories underpinning the elaboration of implications for educational practice. The method of categorization of the descriptive research is leveraged in this work for the characterisation of educational practice. Theoretical analysis allows concluding that emotions and education are linked. Emotions, being the innate part of an individual, drive the educational process. The educational process, built on the understanding of emotions as a cognition product, facilitates the development of individual’s emotions. The educational process is implemented in three phases, namely teaching, peer-learning, and learning. Each phase of the educational process has its own objective upon the development of education actors’ emotions. Organisation of only one or two phases of the educational process while omitting the other phase(s) leads to the imbalance of individual’s emotions. Quality of education is influenced by education actors’ emotions. DRAMA FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF COMMUNICATIVE COMPETENCE IN PRESCHOOL
Rapid changes in society force people to face increasingly complex life challenges that require the ability to adapt to changes and function effectively in a social context. The issue of communicative competence, on the level of which the quality of this adaptation and functioning depends to a large extent, is becoming more relevant. The development of communicative competence begins already in preschool. It is necessary to create an appropriate and supportive environment in which the development of verbal and non-verbal aspects of communication, including vocabulary, would be promoted in various ways according to the child\u27s educational needs.The aim of the paper is to analyze the possibilities of using drama for the development of communicative competence in preschool. The results obtained show the usefulness of drama as a method for the development of communicative competence, as well as differences depending on the gender of a child: boys need more pedagogical support for the development of communicative competence than girls
ASSESSMENT OF THE GOVERNMENT FINANCIAL POLICY: SITUATION IN LATVIA
Purpose and aim of the study: the research aim is to evaluate the factors influencing state financial policy, their socio-economic impact, and assess Latvia\u27s fiscal policies.Design/Methodology/Approach: he study uses monographic, logical constructivism, content analysis methods, and comparing opinions and concepts. The article is based on theoretical knowledge, studies of foreign and Latvian authors, as well as Latvian laws and other regulatory documents on the relevant issues. Main findings: The research highlights the main challenges in the making of state financial policies. The research identifies the most important factors that need to be considered when making state financial policies.Originality: The research takes a comprehensive approach to the analysis of state financial policies. The study uses a variety of data sources and methodological approaches.Implications: The findings of the research can be used to inform the development of more effective state financial policies. The study provides a valuable resource for policymakers, researchers, and practitioners
THE IMPACT OF THE MINIMUM WAGE ON THE LIVING STANDARD IN LITHUANIA
This article is about a minimum wage that is too low in Lithuania. The aim of the article is to investigate whether the minimum wage is enough for Lithuanians to live a dignified/comfortable life, using the answers of the respondents obtained during the questionnaires research. Scientific literature, statistics and SPSS analysis software was also used to achieve this goal. At the end of this article, the results obtained during the research are discussed, which show that the respondents agree that the minimum wage is not enough for a dignified/comfortable life
ASSESSMENT OF THE REASONS FOR MIGRATION OF YOUNG PEOPLE OF WORKING AGE
Based on the analysis of scientific literature, the article explains the concept of emigration, the causes, and its negative and positive consequences. Mathematical and statistical analyses of emigration indicators in the context of the Baltic States and calculate statistical emigration forecasts. Research of Baltic statistics has shown that many highly qualified specialists emigrate from the countries that bring income. The article‘s main aim is to find out and investigate the reasons for the emigration of people of working age in Lithuania. To achieve the aim of the article, an empirical study is used, based on which it was found that the following reasons influence emigration from Lithuania: poor economic situation, desire to go to study, expanding the circle of acquaintances, and a feeling of social exclusion and personal problems that they seek to solve abroad. RESPONSIBILITY IN CONSTRUCTION LAW
The new Construction Law and others Construction Regulations come into force on 01.10.2014. to define responsibility of construction specialists and institutions. Since then passed more than two years and responsibility of construction still is an important question in construction.
The aim of paper is to summarize information about how responsibility is working in practice. Research focuses on how responsibility which is regulated by the new regulatory enactments matches with situation in practice.
There are used methods of historical research, analysis, comparative analysis, systematic text condensation and theoretical method of research to investigate, analyse and summarize information of publications and regulatory enactments about responsibility and situation in practice.
The main conclusion shows that there is not clearness about responsibility of every person in construction and responsibility which is regulated by the new regulatory enactments is not properly working in practice
STRATEGICALLY ESSENTIAL ENERGY SUPPLY OBJECTS IMPORTANCE IN THE CRIMINAL LAW
The aim of this article is to examine strategic importance of energy supply system in the context of criminal law by performing analysis of the provisions and penalties described in the Criminal Law. Currently, Criminal Law of the Republic of Latvia has no specific sanctions against intentional or unintentional offenses to important energy supply system objects (strategically important objects), consequences of which may have a significant impact on the growth of all the Latvian economy and even have consequences to economy on regional scale.Historically, there has been a distinct understanding of significant objects of energy supply system in Latvia; hence, the Inčukalns underground gas storage is not preventively protected in a special way from the criminal law point of view, although the Criminal Code includes penalties for gas pipelines intentional destruction and damage.It would be necessary to carry out modernization and revision of the penalties provided in the Criminal Law regarding the energy sector by adjusting them according to modern safety requirements and the actual situation in the energy sector
CRIMINAL LIABILITY FOR THE VIOLATION OF THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATIONS AND VEHICLE OPERATION REGULATIONS
The constant increase in the number of vehicles in Latvia during the last twenty years has significantly increased the intensity of road traffic, thus causing an increase in the number of road traffic accidents. Holding a person criminally liable under Section 260 of the Criminal Law that provides for liability for the violation of the road traffic regulations and vehicle operation regulations is mostly affected by the precise determination of what a breach of these regulations is. However, there are several open theoretical and practical questions and the most important of which are shortcomings in the definition of a vehicle in Section 261 of the Criminal Law, which, as theoretical research and case-law has shown, hinders the achievement of the aim of the legal provision included in Section 260 of the Criminal Law in accordance with its meaning

The situation of non-citizens is a unique phenomenon in European countries. Non-citizen status is the temporary status of former USSR citizens that arose under certain historical and political circumstances. The issue of integration of non-citizens is focused on the unification of the society. Consequently, it became topical for the Latvian government and society as a whole, starting with the restoration of Latvia\u27s independence, and remains relevant today. This scientific study deals with the topical issue of the historical development of the naturalization process in Latvia from 1991 to 2000. And changes in naturalization policy from 2000 to 2021
WORKING TIME IN AN EMPLOYMENT RELATIONSHIP
Taking into account the statistics, the employer\u27s costs per employee are increasing every year (Central Statistical Bureau, 2021), which increases the risk of incomplete and biased accounting of working time, or even informal employment of employee. Recent findings of case law clearly indicate shortcomings in the regulatory framework for employment relations. Given the global situation, rapid developments and unforeseen changes, the issue of organizing working time in companies to ensure and comply with epidemiological safety measures is relevant
