The background introduces Tambrauw Regency\u27s formation and the need for a governmental center, specifically focusing on Fef District as per Indonesian law. The introduction also touches upon the administrative, strategic, and technical aspects that must be considered in selecting a capital. This section discusses theories related to location, spatial order, and urban functions, with references to prominent theories like those of Tarigan (2006) and Yunus (2005). It provides a foundational understanding of urban centers\u27 roles and the criteria for selecting administrative capitals. The research employs documentation study methods, analyzing secondary data from relevant institutions, statistics, and legislation. The analytical approaches include Scalogram Analysis, SWOT Analysis, and Christaller\u27s Central Place Theory, providing a multi-faceted examination of Fef District’s suitability. The Scalogram Analysis indicates that Fef ranks sixth in terms of infrastructure, suggesting that other districts may be better prepared as governmental centers. However, Christaller\u27s theory highlights Fef\u27s strategic location as a justification for its selection as the capital. The SWOT analysis outlines strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats, emphasizing the need for accelerated development in Fef to support its role. While Fef\u27s current infrastructure may not be fully adequate, its strategic location supports its potential as the governmental center. The paper suggests that careful planning and development are necessary to transform Fef into a functional capital for Tambrauw Regency. The background introduces Tambrauw Regency\u27s formation and the need for a governmental center, specifically focusing on Fef District as per Indonesian law. The reproduction of commercial space over residential space is one of the fascinating phenomena occurring in the development of regions and cities, making it an intriguing subject for scientific research. This study aims to analyze and understand the implications for the development of spatial zoning patterns, specifically on Budi Utomo Street in Mimika Regency. This is evidenced by the initiative of business actors (Capital) to develop urban infrastructure, resulting in irregular patterns. This has motivated the emergence of unplanned spatial areas and cities, affecting spatial patterns, transportation, city character, and urban development directions. This study provides an overview of how commercial space can be reproduced over residential space on Budi Utomo Street and how to interpret the issues that arise in the context of spatial utilization patterns in regions and cities, including urban planning directions that consider local wisdom. It employs both qualitative and quantitative methods in descriptive analysis using cross-tabulation or Likert scale approaches, while also referencing several theoretical studies on regional and urban planning sciences. The reproduction of commercial space over residential space is one of the fascinating phenomena occurring in the development of regions and cities, making it an intriguing subject for scientific research. The development of an area will cause the demand for water to continue to increase along with thepopulation growth rate. The fulfillment of food needs and the activities of the population are always closely relatedto the need for water. The demands are unavoidable but must be predicted and planned for optimal utilization. The tendency that often occurs is the imbalance between water availability and water demand. To achieve abalance between water demand and availability in the future, efforts are needed to assess the components of rawwater availability and demand as clean water sources. The source of clean water for the people of Bonggo District, Sarmi Regency, comes from borehole pumps, shallow wells (pumps), and rainwater. The analysis results on the need for domestic and non-domestic clean waterin the Bonggo District in 2023 show a total requirement of 210.38 liters/day or 0.0024 m3/second. The need forclean water is expected to increase by 2043, with the total requirement for domestic and non-domestic clean waterreaching 285,820 liters/day or 0.0033 m3/second. The availability and need for clean water sourced from rawwater that can be utilized as clean water comes from pump bore wells as a suitable raw water source. In terms ofquantity, it is available 24 hours a day and throughout the year. The investigation results of the pump bore wellraw water source meet the clean water quality requirements according to Government Regulation No. 82 of 2001,Level II. This is supported by groundwater, obtained through the analysis of geological conditions, land cover, morphology, and river flow, which have a high to very high groundwater potential score, located in the northernpart of Bonggo District. Economically, in terms of quantity, rainwater can be used as clean water due to its sufficientavailability, with high rainfall (104,775 mm/year) and year-round service (continuity), and in terms of quality, theresults of rainwater quality tests meet the clean water standards according to quality standards. The development of an area will cause the demand for water to continue to increase along with thepopulation growth rate.
