Collaborative governance at the Malabot Tumbe Festival in Banggai Laut, Indonesia
Get PDFThis research aims to determine and analyze the forms, parties involved, and challenges faced in implementing collaborative governance in the Malabot Tumbe Festival activities in Banggai Laut Regency, Indonesia. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach, with 10 informants, with a research location in Banggai Laut Regency, Central Sulawesi Province, Indonesia, carried out on July 10-17, 2024. The study results show that the Malabot Tumbe Festival in Banggai Laut Regency reflects the success of cross-sector collaboration in preserving local culture through a collaborative governance approach. Local governments, indigenous leaders, communities, the private sector, and the media work together to ensure the continuity of this tradition. Key factors include trust, effective communication, visionary leadership, and resource support. However, challenges such as differences in interests, budget limitations, and lack of participation of certain groups remain. With continuous evaluation, this festival positively impacts cultural preservation, economic empowerment, and tourism and strengthens the community\u27s collective identity, making it an example of success in cultural and regional development
Saus Cocolan Pepaya Sehat sebagai Inovasi Pangan bagi Masyarakat di Kampung Wisata Rhepang Muaif, Kabupaten Jayapura
Get PDFPapaya (Carica papaya L.) is a fruit with high nutritional value and significant potential to be developed into various processed food products. However, its utilization in the communities remains limited as papaya is generally consumed fresh or processed into simple dishes such as juice and vegetables. This community service activity aimed to increase public knowledge and skills in diversifying papaya-based food products by introducing the processing of papaya into a healthy dipping sauce that is free from artificial sweeteners and preservatives. The activity also sought to increase awareness of the economic potential of papaya-based processed products. It was conducted on August 9, 2025, in collaboration with the local community of Rhepang Muaif Tourism Village, at the kitchen pavilion of Isyo Hills Bird Watching Campsite. A total of 13 participants were involved, consisting of 8 youths, 3 middle-aged adults, and 2 elderly individuals. The implementation methods included socialization, hands-on training, and direct assistance in the preparation. The training utilized simple methods, common kitchen tools, and easily accessible ingredients. The results showed that participants were able to produce a spicy and healthy papaya-based dipping sauce that can be consumed with various snacks, such as boiled sweet potatoes, boiled bananas, fried bananas, and french fries. The product demonstrates potential economic value due to its affordability, health benefits, and marketability. Overall, the activity was well received, with participant satisfaction rates of 100%, indicating a positive response, successful implementation, and benefit to the community

North Kolaka Regency, as one of the entry and exit points to Southeast Sulawesi Province, with its high volume of goods and people, faces various challenges related to administrative violations, vehicle roadworthiness, and compliance with transportation laws. This community service initiative aims to improve drivers\u27 and transportation business owners\u27 understanding of the importance of implementing regulations, licensing procedures, and applicable legal sanctions through outreach, direct education, enforcement, supervision, and law enforcement. The activities included problem mapping, outreach, outreach, education, and evaluation of drivers\u27 perceptions and understanding. The results of the initiative indicate an increase in drivers\u27 knowledge of law enforcement provisions and their awareness of complying with technical and administrative transportation requirements
Therapeutic Potential of Natural Acetogenins: Extraction Techniques, Pharmacological Activities, and Future Applications
Get PDFAcetogenins, a unique class of secondary metabolites primarily found in the Annonaceae family, exhibit remarkable pharmacological properties, particularly as potent cytotoxic and anticancer agents. This systematic review synthesizes recent advancements in acetogenin research, focusing on extraction methodologies, biological activities, and therapeutic applications. A structured literature search spanning 2010–2024 was conducted across PubMed, Scopus, Web of Science, and Google Scholar, adhering to PRISMA guidelines. The findings highlight the efficacy of acetogenins in inhibiting cancer cell proliferation, particularly in breast, colorectal, and brain cancers, through mitochondrial inhibition and apoptosis induction. Recent innovations, including ultrasonic-assisted extraction and nanoparticle-based formulations, have significantly improved bioavailability and therapeutic outcomes. Despite these promising developments, challenges such as low solubility, potential neurotoxicity, and limited clinical validation persist. Future research should prioritize the optimization of drug delivery systems and in-depth clinical trials to establish acetogenins as next-generation natural anticancer agent
Pengaruh Bawang Merah (Allium cepa L.) Terhadap Pertumbuhan Akar Stek Mangga (Mangifera indica L.)
Get PDFMangga merupakan salah satu komoditas hortikultura unggulan yang banyak diperbanyak melalui metode generatif maupun vegetatif, termasuk stek yang dipandang lebih ekonomis, mudah, dan relatif cepat. Untuk mempercepat pembentukan akar, digunakan perangsang tumbuh, salah satunya hormon alami yang terdapat pada bawang merah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh ekstrak bawang merah (Allium cepa L.) terhadap pertumbuhan stek mangga (Mangifera indica L.) serta menentukan konsentrasi yang paling efektif. Penelitian menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) faktorial dengan dua faktor, yaitu konsentrasi ekstrak bawang merah (0%, 60%, 80%, dan 100%) dan jenis stek (stek pucuk dan stek batang). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian ekstrak bawang merah pada berbagai konsentrasi tidak memberikan pengaruh terhadap pertumbuhan stek mangga. Kondisi tersebut diduga dipengaruhi oleh faktor lingkungan seperti suhu, intensitas cahaya, dan kelembaban, serta kemungkinan penggunaan konsentrasi yang terlalu tinggi sehingga menghambat pertumbuhan stek.

One of the agencies that plays an important role in this matter is the Regional Financial and Asset Management Agency (BPKAD) of Kuantan Singingi Regency.The urgency of this research lies in the importance of professional and accountable financial and asset management at the regional level. This research uses the library study method (Library Research) by using literature from books, journals and related scientific articles as the main material for analysis and looking for connections to describe the research problem. The main task and function of government agencies, including the Kuantan Singingi Regency Regional Financial and Asset Management Agency (BPKAD), is to provide services to the community. The formation of government agencies aims to meet community needs, both in terms of quality and quantity of services provided, so as to achieve community satisfaction. Quality, transparent and accountable public services are indicators of successful government performance. Bureaucratic reform is an important step to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of government organizations in providing public services. Ineffective bureaucracy can become an obstacle in achieving the goals of good governance, so changes to the system and a better bureaucratic structure are nedeed
Peningkatan Kualitas Hidup Masyarakat Kampung dengan Pemanfaatan Internet Sebagai Sarana Pembelajaran dan Promosi Wisata di Kampung Maribu, Distrik Sentani Barat, Kabupaten Jayapura
Get PDFKampung Maribu has several natural tourism potentials that unfortunately have not developed well due to several factors. One of the natural beauties of Kampung Maribu that is still unknown to many people is Gunung Iroy, also known as Gunung Kabut, which is one of the most beautiful tourist destinations in Kampung Maribu. In addition to its tourism potential, Kampung Maribu is the center of the largest sago forest in Jayapura Regency and is located at the end of the West Sentani District. The charm of Papua orchids holds a special place for orchid enthusiasts. The exotic shapes and types of orchids, along with their limited distribution, make Papua orchids highly sought after by orchid collectors. The condition of the partner in terms of regional potential and the community that has been described is that there are many potentials that can be developed, but due to the limited human resources available for promotion, it has not been optimally developed. Therefore, the improvement of the quality of life for the village community through the use of the internet as a means of learning and promoting tourism in Kampung Maribu, Sentani Barat District, Jayapura Regency, needs to be carried out. The results obtained after the installation of free internet access for Kampung Maribu are as follows: the level of understanding among the people of Kampung Maribu has increased, as shown in the questionnaire results indicating an average understanding increase of 68.56%. This is because the community has become more active in accessing information for learning through YouTube portals and Blogs/Forums, the increasing number of local tourists from around Jayapura City and Jayapura Regency visiting potential tourist sites in Kampung Maribu, the growth of local MSMEs that have started actively marketing their products through social media, and the active use of the village hall in activities because it has become a center for free internet services for the community.
Peningkatan Pengelolaan Administrasi dan Pemahaman Teknologi Kepada Masyarakat Kampung Melalui Pemanfaatan Sistem Informasi Desa di Kampung Maribu, Distrik Sentani Barat, Kabupaten Jayapura
Get PDFKampung Maribu is one of the 5 (five) villages included in the administrative area of the West Sentani District, Jayapura Regency. Based on the observations made, we found that the residents of Kampung Maribu do not yet have concrete data due to the lack of proper administrative management at the Kampung Office, both in terms of population data archiving and the absence of archives for reporting the use of village funds used to implement the village work program. Additionally, with the limited human resources working at the village office, there is a need to utilize technology in the form of a Village Information System. Therefore, the improvement of administrative management and technological understanding for the village community through the utilization of the Village Information System in Maribu Village, West Sentani District, Jayapura Regency needs to be carried out. The results obtained after the implementation of the Village Information System in Kampung Maribu are as follows: the level of understanding among the residents of Kampung Maribu has increased, as indicated by the questionnaire results showing an average increase in administrative service satisfaction by 70%. This is because SIMDES helps in archiving population records and correspondence documents more comprehensively and systematically. Because of the online nature of SIMDES, the system can be accessed from anywhere and at any time, so the community does not need to come to the Village Office to manage documents or report citizen complaints; they can simply access it through the portal and use the self-service features. The availability of the LAPAK page on SIMDES helps residents who want to promote the processed products they have made. The active use of SIMDES as a news information portal has been carried out by village officials or activities conducted by the relevant Department.
Penyuluhan Pembuatan Parfum dari Minyak Atsiri Daun Kayu Manis di SMAIT Insan Cendekia Jayapura
Get PDFCinnamomum burmannii is a leading Indonesian commodity in global trade. The part of the cinnamon plant that has not been fully utilized is the leaves. Cinnamon leaves can be used as a prospective product, namely essential oils that can be used as base notes in making perfume. Essential oil processing can be done simply by the steam distillation method. However, many people still do not know how to process essential oils properly. This Community Service (PKM) activity is a form of knowledge transfer by the implementing team from the Chemistry Department of Cenderawasih University to students of SMAIT Insan Cendikia Jayapura regarding the manufacture of perfume from essential oils made from cinnamon leaves. The activity was carried out on June 4, 2025. The methods used in this service included an initial survey, implementation of activities including counseling and demonstrations, and activity evaluation. During this activity, a simple distillation unit was also handed over to the school, as a provision for students to practice the material that had been given in the hope of improving students\u27 skills in processing essential oils. The results achieved in this activity showed that students were very enthusiastic, active, and interactive in absorbing knowledge. Based on the evaluation results (initial test and final test) showed a significant increase to 93% after participating in this activity.
Pelatihan dan Pendampingan Teknik Penyusunan Peraturan Kampung di Distrik Muara Tami, Kota Jayapura
Get PDFBased on the results of training on Techniques for Preparing Good Village Regulations, it was found that there are still many village officials (Village Heads and Village Consultative Body) who do not have the knowledge and expertise in drafting good village regulations in accordance with the provisions of statutory regulations. The low level of knowledge of village government officials in drafting village regulations has created a legal vacuum in society, thereby affecting the effectiveness of village government administration. If this is not addressed from the start, it can affect all village development policies in accordance with the mandate of Law Number 6 of 2014 concerning Villages. The objectives of training in preparing good village regulations are (1) to provide knowledge and understanding of the procedures for preparing good and correct village regulations (2) to provide knowledge about the correct preparation of village regulations in accordance with the theory, principles and concepts of legislative science. The expected benefit from training in techniques for preparing good village regulations is that it can provide scientific contributions to village government officials and the community regarding the benefits of correct procedures for drafting village regulations and how to implement the village regulations themselves. Community service was carried out in Skouw Mabo Village, Muara Tami District, Jayapura City using the method: lectures and discussions with the theme "Training on Techniques for Preparing Good Village Regulations for Village Government Apparatus", then continued with a question and answer session to explore the problems and obstacles faced and find solutions as a form of resolving the obstacles faced by village government officials. Based on the results achieved in this training activity, it can be concluded as follows: (1) training participants are able to understand and know the procedures for preparing village regulations that are good and correct; and (2) and Training Participants can apply the results of the training by compiling and implementing village regulations independentl
