Histologic comparison of the uterine pathologic effects of erythropoietin and U-74389G
Background: This manuscript compared the effects at uterine pathology (UP), after processing with either the drug erythropoietin hormone (Epo), or the lazaroid antioxidant agent (L) one U-74389G. This comparison was provided by outcomes of 2 preceding branches.Objective: Both studies estimated the effect, after each drug use in a planned uterine ischemia - reperfusion (UIR) mice experimental setting.Methods: Both principal experiment timepoints, the uterine histology was evaluated were the min 60th after reperfusion (A, C, E groups) and also the min 120th after reperfusion (B, D, F groups). Along, A & B groups were placebo, C & D groups were processed by Epo and E & F groups after the L process.Results: The one study-branch of Epo has presented a hardly significant recessing potency for the total UP within the “lesion-free” grade alteration by -0.0916667 [-0.1907629 - 0.0074296] (p-values = 0.0583). However, the other study-branch of U-74389G presented a respective non-significant accentuation of the total UP within the “lesion-free” grade alteration by 0.2229748 [-0.1376592 - 0.5836089] (p-value = 0.4940). Both branch studies got co-evaluated as they belong to a common experiment. Their outcome was that Epo seems to ameliorate the UP status, whereas L seems to deteriorate it; however, their discrepancy seems to be non-significant (p-value = 0.0677).Conclusion: There is a slight non-significant superiority of Epo than L in UIR pathology restoration (p-value = 0.0677), possibly useful in several clinical situations.
Development and Validation of Indonesian Nursing Care Instruments for Patients with End-Stage Kidney Disease
End-stage kidney disease is a global health problem with a steadily increasing prevalence. Nurses need standardized nursing care instruments to improve care quality and contribute to overall health care improvement. This study aimed to develop an Indonesian nursing care instrument for patients with end-stage kidney disease. The study used a research and development design conducted in two stages. In the first stage, 101 medical records and 11 respondents were involved, while the second stage included 9 respondents. Samples were selected using purposive sampling. Validity and reliability were tested using the Item Content Validity Index (I-CVI) and Kuder–Richardson 20 (KR-20), and data were analyzed descriptively. The instrument was developed for 10 nursing diagnoses: hypervolemia, ineffective breathing pattern, impaired gas exchange, activity intolerance, anxiety, risk of electrolyte imbalance, risk of imbalanced nutrition, risk of falling, risk of ineffective renal perfusion, and readiness for enhanced nutrition. The instrument was aligned with Indonesian nursing standards, including SDKI, SLKI, and SIKI. By providing structured guidance for diagnoses, outcomes, and interventions, this instrument supports nurses in daily practice, improves documentation accuracy, and enhances consistency and quality of nursing care. Nurses’ evaluations indicated that the instrument is feasible for clinical implementation
Revitalisasi Permainan Tradisional: Upaya Meningkatkan Interaksi Sosial Anak dan Mengurangi Pengaruh Negatif Teknologi
Permainan tradisional memiliki peran penting dalam membangun keterampilan sosial dan memperkuat interaksi antar anak. Namun, kemajuan teknologi yang pesat telah menyebabkan pergeseran aktivitas anak menuju penggunaan perangkat digital secara berlebihan, yang berdampak pada menurunnya interaksi sosial. Program Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PKm) ini bertujuan untuk merevitalisasi permainan tradisional sebagai sarana untuk meningkatkan interaksi sosial anak dan mengurangi pengaruh negatif teknologi. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan di SDN 94/IV Kecamatan Kota Baru, Kota Jambi, dengan melibatkan 113 siswa sebagai peserta, serta guru dan mahasiswa sebagai fasilitator. Program ini menggunakan metode Participatory Action Research (PAR), yang memungkinkan keterlibatan aktif dari seluruh pihak terkait dalam setiap tahap kegiatan. Pelaksanaan kegiatan berlangsung selama tiga bulan, dari Oktober hingga Desember 2024. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan partisipasi siswa dalam permainan tradisional serta adanya pengurangan waktu penggunaan gadget di luar jam pelajaran. Selain itu, interaksi sosial antar siswa meningkat, yang tercermin dalam kerja sama dan komunikasi selama bermain. Revitalisasi permainan tradisional terbukti menjadi solusi efektif dalam mengurangi dampak negatif teknologi dan membangun kembali nilai-nilai kebersamaan di kalangan anak-anak
Forensic Accounting and Ethical Governance in Subsidised Energy Distribution: Evidence from Indonesia
This study examines how forensic accounting mechanisms, when complemented by maqāṣid al-sharīʿah–based ethical principles, can strengthen accountability, transparency, and fairness in Indonesia’s subsidised LPG distribution system. Specifically, it explores governance challenges—including weak internal controls, information asymmetry, ethical dilemmas, and limited public accountability literacy—and develops an integrative accountability framework to support ethical public governance. This study adopts an interpretive qualitative approach using in-depth interviews, limited field observations, and document analysis. Participants include government regulators, distribution agents, and public auditors involved in subsidy supervision. Data were analysed through thematic coding guided by forensic accounting indicators and maqāṣid-informed ethical considerations, with credibility ensured through triangulation and reflexive analysis. The findings indicate that governance inefficiencies largely arise from inadequate alignment between forensic control mechanisms and ethical accountability practices. While forensic accounting enhances transparency through evidence-based oversight, maqāṣid al-sharīʿah contributes an ethical foundation for distributive justice and public trust. Based on these findings, the study proposes an integrative accountability framework that connects technical control with ethical reasoning in public sector governance. The study suggests that policymakers strengthen fraud mitigation and governance quality by reinforcing forensic oversight alongside ethics-oriented capacity building grounded in principles of justice (‘adl), moral responsibility (amānah), and public welfare (maṣlaḥah). This study offers an integrative perspective on forensic accounting and maqāṣid al-sharīʿah in public sector governance, contributing to the literature on ethical accountability and value-based governance in subsidy management contexts.
The Role of ESG Disclosure in Moderating Financial Distress on Company Value
Market value volatility in manufacturing threatens corporate sustainability. This research examines how ESG disclosure moderates the link between financial distress and firm value. The sample comprises 85 Indonesian companies selected through purposive sampling. Data came from annual reports, IDX financial statements, and Bloomberg ESG ratings. We analyzed data using regression analysis in IBM SPSS Statistics 25. Results show financial distress significantly lowers firm value; greater financial pressure reduces valuation. ESG disclosure, as a moderator, eases this negative effect, lessening the impact of financial distress. These findings support Signaling and Legitimacy Theory: financial distress sends negative signals, while ESG disclosure preserves legitimacy and sends positive signals to investors. ESG disclosure’s moderating role is key in shaping how markets perceive the effects of financial distress on firm value. This study contributes to financial risk management and corporate sustainability during economic challenges and urges companies to adopt risk-mitigation and sustainable practices
Panoramic Features of a Stafne Bone Defect Mimicking a Residual Cyst in an Edentulous Mandible
Background: Stafne bone defect is an uncommon, well-defined lingual cortical depression of the mandible, most often discovered incidentally as a unilocular radiolucency in the posterior region, and is regarded as a benign developmental anomaly related to soft-tissue inclusion, particularly salivary glands. Classic lesions typically occur below the inferior alveolar canal in middle-aged male patients, are asymptomatic, and do not require surgical treatment; however, anterior variants located in the premolar region are rare and frequently mimic odontogenic cysts on panoramic radiographs.Objective: The purpose of this case report is to highlight the diagnostic challenge of an anterior variant of Stafne bone defect and demonstrate the importance of advanced imaging in differentiating it from odontogenic lesions to avoid unnecessary surgery.Case: A 60-year-old edentulous male patient underwent panoramic radiography as part of a pre-prosthetic evaluation. The image revealed a well-defined radiolucent area in the edentulous mandible, leading to a provisional diagnosis of a residual cyst.Outcome: Further evaluation with Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT) was performed. The three-dimensional images revealed a well-circumscribed lingual cortical depression in continuity with the mandibular cortex. There was no evidence of buccolingual expansion, root resorption, or features of an intraosseous cystic cavity. These imaging characteristics confirmed that the radiolucency represented a static bone concavity rather than a space-occupying lesion..Conclusion: The lesion's location and specific imaging characteristics were consistent with a Stafne bone defect. Perkembangan teknologi seperti Kecerdasan Buatan (AI), Internet-of-Things (IoT), dan Ekonomi Digital telah memicu transformasi sosial yang masif, namun pada saat yang sama, menciptakan Krisis Teknologi dan Krisis Digital. Krisis ini bermanifestasi dalam ancaman siber, pelanggaran privasi data, dan pelebaran kesenjangan sosial-digital. Makalah ini bertujuan menganalisis secara mendalam empat isu etika kunci sebagai inti dari krisis digital dan menguraikan tanggung jawab profesional ilmu komputer dalam menghadapinya. Secara teknis, masalah Kepemilikan Data direspons melalui implementasi Privacy-by-Design (PbD) dan model Data Trust dengan Fine-Grained Attribute Based Policy. Krisis keamanan siber yang diperparah oleh Generative AI (GAI) disikapi dengan penegasan Ethical Hacking sebagai tindakan proaktif. Terkait AI, isu Akuntabilitas dan automation bias diatasi dengan penerapan kerangka Akuntabilitas Kolaboratif (Trio of Human, Manuals/Standards, and AI) yang didukung oleh Explainable AI (XAI) dan audit Fairness dalam Trustworthy AI. Car Detection Real Time With YoloV5 and Interface Web Flask
Vehicle identification is a crucial component of traffic monitoring technology and transportation safety systems. Demand for solutions that can be detected in real time and accessed through web-based platforms has led to the emergence of a new approach based on efficient and adaptive deep learning. In this study, a vehicle detection system was designed using the YOLOv5 algorithm, known for its superior processing speed, smaller model size, and ease of implementation compared to previous versions of YOLO. The system was integrated with the Flask framework to provide a web interface that displays detection results from various video sources, both through live cameras and uploaded files. Based on testing, this system is able to recognize vehicles such as cars, buses, and trucks with a high level of accuracy and speed, while also presenting live vehicle count data. These findings prove that the combination of YOLOv5 and Flask can be an effective solution for implementing a web-based vehicle detection system with fast and accurate performance
Hubungan antara Kesadaran Privasi dan Perilaku Aman Mahasiswa dalam Menggunakan Media Sosial
Perkembangan media sosial yang pesat memunculkan berbagai permasalahan keamanan data pribadi di kalangan mahasiswa, terutama terkait privasi dan perilaku aman saat menggunakan platform digital. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan antara tingkat kesadaran privasi dan perilaku aman mahasiswa dalam menggunakan media sosial. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan teknik survei terhadap 80 mahasiswa sebagai responden. Instrumen penelitian berupa kuesioner skala Likert yang telah melalui uji validitas dan reliabilitas (Cronbach’s Alpha = 0,872). Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan korelasi Pearson untuk menguji hubungan antar variabel. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya hubungan positif yang signifikan antara kesadaran privasi dan perilaku aman mahasiswa (r = 0,673; p < 0,05). Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa semakin tinggi tingkat kesadaran privasi mahasiswa, maka semakin baik perilaku aman mereka dalam menggunakan media sosial. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi dalam upaya peningkatan literasi keamanan digital di lingkungan kampus.
Perbandingan Algoritma Simulated Annealing, Genetic Algorithm, dan Ant Colony Optimization terhadap Permasalahan Travelling Salesman Problem
Percobaan ini membandingkan tiga algoritma heuristik, yaitu Genetic Algorithm (GA), Simulated Annealing (SA), dan Ant Colony Optimization (ACO), dalam menyelesaikan masalah Travelling Salesman Problem (TSP) menggunakan dataset Berlin. TSP merupakan masalah kombinatorial yang bertujuan untuk menentukan rute terpendek yang mengunjungi sejumlah titik dan kembali ke titik awal. Metode percobaan mencakup penerapan ketiga algoritma dengan pengaturan parameter yang konsisten, termasuk jumlah iterasi sebanyak 10 kali, untuk mengevaluasi kinerja masing-masing algoritma. Hasil percobaan menunjukkan bahwa GA mencapai solusi terbaik dengan total jarak tempuh 27.539,86, diikuti oleh ACO dengan jarak 28.774,06, dan SA dengan jarak 28.897,26. Analisis hasil menunjukkan bahwa GA secara efektif mengeksplorasi ruang solusi, menghasilkan rute yang lebih efisien dibandingkan kedua algoritma lainnya. Selain itu, percobaan ini memberikan rekomendasi untuk pengembangan lebih lanjut, termasuk tuning parameter dan penerapan algoritma pada skala yang lebih besar. Temuan ini diharapkan dapat memberikan wawasan yang berharga untuk implementasi algoritma heuristik dalam memecahkan masalah optimasi dalam dunia nyata
