GAMBARAN PENGETAHUAN REMAJATENTANG HIV/AIDS
Masa remaja adalah masa-masa berada pada mobilitas sosial yang paling tinggi karena akan membuka peluang baginya untuk terpapar terhadap berbagai perubahan sosial, kultural, budaya, serta fisik maupun psikologis. Akibatnya remaja tersebut mempunyai kerentanan yang tinggi terhadap penularan berbagai jenis penyakit salah satunya HIV/AIDS.Tabanan menduduki peringkat kelima pada kasus HIV/AIDS di Provinsi Bali dengan jumlah kasus baru HIV pada golongan usia 15-19 tahun sebesar 1,7% dan penderita AIDS usia 15-19 tahun sebesar 15,9%. Tujuan dari peneltian ini untuk mengetahui gambaran pengetahuan remaja tentang HIV/AIDS di SMA Negeri 7 Denpasar tahun 2024. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan rancangan kuantitatif. Pelaksanaan penelitian dibulan Mei-Juni 2024 dengan teknik simple random sampling. Sampel dalam peneltian ini berjumlah 92 remaja SMA Negeri 7 Denpasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan kuesioner tertutup dengan analisis data univariat. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan Tingkat pengetahuan remaja tentang HIV/AIDS di SMA Negeri 7 Denpasar tahun 2024 kategori baik dengan jumlah 54 remaja (58.7%), cukup dengan jumah 36 remaja (39.1%), dan kurang dengan jumlah 2 remaja (2.2%). Ethno-ESD Engineering-Based Learning: Innovative Strategies to Foster Students' Sustainability Attitude and Self-Reported Sustainable Behavior
Ethno-ESD Engineering-Based Learning was developed as an innovative effort to integrate local wisdom and sustainable development principles in higher education to foster environmentally friendly attitudes and behaviors in students. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the Ethno-ESD Engineering-Based Learning model as an innovative strategy in fostering sustainability attitude and self-reported sustainable behavior of students. This approach integrates the values of local wisdom (ethno) with the principles of Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) in the context of engineering-based learning. The research method used a quasi-experiment with a pretest-posttest control group design, involving chemistry education students. The validity test of the instrument was carried out using the Aikens index data analysis technique. The model effectiveness test was analyzed using the T-test and Effect Size test. The results showed that the application of Ethno-ESD Engineering-Based Learning significantly improved students' sustainability attitude and self-reported sustainable behavior compared to conventional learning (p < 0.05). The effect size values of 0.87 and 0.81 showed a high influence on the improvement of attitudes and sustainable behaviors. The research instrument was declared valid and reliable with Cronbach's Alpha and Composite Reliability values above 0.9 and AVE above 0.5. These findings prove that the integration of local wisdom and the principles of Education for Sustainable Development in engineering learning is able to foster ecological awareness and social responsibility of students. The implication is that this model can be used as an innovative alternative in higher education to support the achievement of sustainable development goals (SDGs) through the transformation of students' attitudes and behaviors towards an environmentally friendly lifestyl
Peningkatan Kompetensi Penyusunan Dokumen Petty Cash Dalam Mempersiapkan Uji Kompetensi Keahlian Pada Siswa SMK Muhammadiyah Adiwerna
Petty cash is one of the important aspects of daily financial management. Proper cash management will help companies in handling routine expenses that are urgent and of relatively small value. The problem that occurs at SMK Muhammadiyah Adiwerna is that students do not understand about the recording of petty cash, especially the difference in the imprest method and fluctuations because in the independent curriculum the petty cash material is getting less and less and usually the cases given to students are in the form of the imprest method only. The implementation method is divided into three stages, namely identifying problems, implementing activities, and evaluating results. In the first stage, the PKM team conducted a survey and interview with the Head of SMK Muhammadiyah Adiwerna. The second stage, namely the implementation of activities, is carried out by giving lectures, tutorials and discussions. The final stage is evaluation, carried out by providing pretest and posttest to all PKM participants. Based on the results of the presentation of the material delivered by the lecturer team about recording petty cash documents using the impression and fluctuation method, it gave results, namely all participants were able to follow the flow of material guided by the lecturer team and could do the practice of compiling journals into cash payment journals and petty cash books well. The training that has been carried out shows that there is an improvement in students' skills about recording petty cash documents using the imprest and fluctuation method method for students of SMK Muhammdiyah Adiwerna Tegal to prepare to take the Expertise Competency Test
Pemberdayaan PKG-PAUD Kecamatan Gunungpati dalam Memanfaatkan Daur Ulang Sampah Kertas dan Plastik untuk Alat Pembelajaran
Each school in Gugus PAUD 1, Gunungpati Sub-district, Semarang City already has a Waste Bank, although it is small and simple. The waste collected comes from around the school and store from each student. The collected waste then sold to collectors. The existence of this waste bank makes it possible to recycle it into playground equipment/games or learning tools, because learning in PAUD is playing while learning. The purpose of the Community Service activities in Gugus PAUD 1 Gunungpati District Semarang City is to improve the competence of PAUD teachers in recycling paper and plastic waste into play tools and educational games. The method applied was theory and practice. Evaluation was conducted from administrative evaluation in the form of attendance and participation. Academic evaluation by project assessment then applications in the teaching and learning process. The results are PAUD teachers' skills and understanding of recycling paper and plastic waste increased after the workshop, as well as attitudes and behavior towards waste recycling increased, all in the high category
Peningkatan Vocabulary Siswa SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Kota Tegal Menggunakan Materi Health And Safety At Work (K3)
The need to improve the understanding of students of Mechanical Enginnering regarding the concepts of Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) in English is important, considering that this material has only been provided in Indonesian. The lack of mastery of English vocabulary related to OSH poses a serious challenge for students in preparing themselves to compete in the job market, which increasingly demands foreign language skills. Students receive explanations related to OSH in English, vocabulary drilling, pretest, and post-test. The average pretest score obtained by students is 49.2, indicating that the initial understanding level of students is still low. However, after the treatment, the average post-test score increased significantly to 76.1. This increase in average score indicates an improvement in students' understanding of OSH vocabulary material in English
Membangun Gen-Z yang Berbudaya dengan Berkain-Berkebaya di Kampus UWM Yogyakarta
The acceleration of foreign culture has indeed marginalized many people's old habits which are synonymous with the meaning of wisdom, one of which is the use of regional clothing "Kain and Kebaya" in the context of everyday life. Even though the kebaya is national clothing as stated in Presidential Decree Number 18 of 1972 concerning Types of Civil Clothing and Law Number 9 of 2010 concerning Protocols. Looking at the use of kebaya by Indonesian women today, it tends to be found only at a few formal events. As is the case with the beauty of various Indonesian fabrics which are also becoming increasingly distant from modern society. Apart from the massive onslaught of fashion trends from the international world, this continues to be another factor, especially for the younger generation. The target group for this activity is Gen-Z who are 18-25 years old and are academics at Widya Mataram University, Yogyakarta, as well as several external guests who come from the Yogyakarta area. This activity uses talk-show, question-answer and interactive simulation methods among invited guests. The contents of the activities include: (1) Indonesian fabric exhibition "Javanese Batik Art Culture, (2) fashion show (3) talk show with the title "Contemporary Culture Vs Local Culture from the Perspective of Young People", as well as "Young People's Appreciation in Building Fabric Fashion Trends Dressing", and (4) a culinary bazaar which was enlivened by a number of local MSME players. Gen-Z is invited to collaborate on social media to popularize traditional clothing. In fact, all the invited guests looked very enthusiastic and expressive following the activities by appearing using the dress code "Kebaya", "Batik", "Regional Cloth", as well as other local cultural attributes with their own colors, motifs and aesthetic values
Edukasi Penanganan Sindrom Premenstruasi (PMS) dengan Latihan Yoga
PMS conditions that are not treated properly in some women can disrupt their quality of life. One of the therapies recommended by the international organization The Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists in managing PMS symptoms is exercise. Yoga is a form of exercise that can be done before menstruation. With Yoga, the mind calms and relaxes the body so that it can control stress, anxiety, depression and also overcome dysmenorrhea. This service activity was carried out with the aim of providing education on premenstrual syndrome treatment with yoga exercises. The activity method is carried out by providing Health Education using slides and leaflets, as well as practicing yoga poses with a certified instructor. Measurement of educational success is carried out through pretest and posttest. Community service activity in partnership with the family learning center (PUSPAGA) on January 5 2024 at Politeknik Harapan Bersama, Tegal City, with 36 young women participating from 6 high schools in Tegal City. The results of the activity showed that there was an increase in knowledge after providing health education about treating PMS with yoga practice. The EFL Students’ Difficulties of Pronunciation Practice
For EFL students especially, pronunciation is the foundation of communication and is crucial when separating meanings or creating understandable utterances. One cannot communicate without speaking in the language. Still, students mostly blame pronunciation for their difficulties communicating. Good English speakers will be understood even if they make mistakes in other spheres. Conversely, students with poor pronunciation will not be understood even with excellent grammar. This study aims to identify the elements influencing the pronunciation practice of the students and their challenges in English pronunciation. Data collection and analysis for this study used a quantitative approach. Thirty University of Muhammadiyah Semarang students enrolled in the pronunciation practice program used English as a foreign language. A structured interview, and a questionnaire were the tools used for data collection. The study found that pronunciation still presents a significant obstacle for EFL learners, compromising their communication capacity even with adequate grammar. Limited practice, lack of exposure, and mother tongue interference are among the elements causing these challenges. To improve their speaking clarity and confidence, teachers should thus advise pupils to interact with real English audio resources and offer more targeted pronunciation practice
Hubungan Dukungan Keluarga dan Tekanan Akademik dengan Kesehatan Mental Mahasiswa Kedokteran Universitas Muhammadiyah Semarang
Latar Belakang: Mahasiswa kedokteran kerap mengalami tekanan akademik yang tinggi, seperti beban belajar yang berat, tuntutan untuk mencapai nilai tinggi, dan kompetisi yang ketat. Tekanan ini bisa mempunyai dampak negatif terhadap kesehatan mental mereka, seperti kecemasan, depresi, dan stres. Diha-rapkan dengan adanya dukungan keluarga bisa menurunkan kecen-derungan munculnya kejadian yang bisa berakibat adanya tekanan, karenanya bisa me-nambah kesejahteraan mahasiswa. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk menyelidiki adanya hubungan antara dukungan keluarga dan tekanan akademik dengan kesehatan mental mahasiswa kedokteran Universitas Muhammadiyah Semarang.Metode: Penelitian korelasional kuantitatif dengan desain cross-sectional. Sampel penelitan ialah mahasiswa kedokteran Universitas Muhammadiyah Semarang Angkatan 2022 berjumlah 69 orang dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Pengumpulan data menggunakan Kuesioner Perceived Social Support Family-20, Kuesioner Perception Academic Stress Scale-18 dan Kuesioner Mental Health Inventory-38. Analisis hubungan menggunakan uji rank spearman.Hasil: Mayoritas responden memiliki dukungan keluarga yang baik sejumlah 44 responden (63,8%), mayoritas responden memiliki tingkat tekanan akademik rendah sejumlah 37 responden (53,6%) dan mayoritas responden memiliki tingkat kesehatan mental sedang sejumlah 32 responden (46,4%). Pada analisis uji rank spearman menunjukan bahwa terdapat hubungan positif antara du-kungan keluarga dengan kesehtan mental (p-value < 0,001) dengan tingkat kore-lasi sedang (r = 0,569) dan terdapat hubungan negatif antara tekanan akademik dengan kesehatan mental (p-value = 0,039) dengan tingkat korelasi rendah (r = -0,249).Kesimpulan: Dukungan keluarga memiliki hubungan positif dengan tingkat ko-relasi kuat dengan kesehatan mental, sedangkan tekanan akademik memiliki hubungan negatif dengan tingkat korelasi rendah dengan kesehatan mental
Pendampingan Remaja Putri Tangguh Bebas Anemia di SMA Negeri 10 Semarang: Edukasi, Kader, dan Inovasi Media sebagai Strategi Pencegahan
Anemia pada remaja putri merupakan salah satu masalah kesehatan masyarakat yang berdampak pada kualitas hidup, prestasi belajar, dan produktivitas generasi muda. Rendahnya pengetahuan, kurangnya kepatuhan konsumsi Tablet Tambah Darah (TTD), serta gaya hidup yang tidak sehat menjadi faktor penyebab utama tingginya prevalensi anemia. Program Pendampingan Remaja Putri Tangguh Bebas Anemia dilaksanakan di SMA Negeri 10 Semarang sebagai bentuk pengabdian masyarakat dengan dukungan pendanaan Hibah DPPM Kemendiktisaintek 2025. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah meningkatkan pengetahuan dan kesadaran remaja putri dalam pencegahan anemia, membentuk kader kesehatan remaja yang tangguh, serta menghasilkan produk inovatif berupa modul, poster, dan video edukasi. Metode pelaksanaan dilakukan melalui lima tahapan, yaitu: (1) persiapan dan koordinasi dengan mitra sekolah, (2) rekrutmen dan pembekalan 40 kader kesehatan remaja kelas X dan XI, (3) penyusunan serta distribusi media edukatif, (4) pendampingan kader dalam edukasi teman sebaya dan pemantauan kepatuhan konsumsi TTD, serta (5) evaluasi hasil kegiatan bersama sekolah dan Puskesmas Genuk. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pengetahuan remaja putri, terbentuknya 40 kader kesehatan aktif, serta tersedianya produk inovatif edukasi yang dapat digunakan secara berkelanjutan. Partisipasi sekolah, orang tua, dan masyarakat juga meningkat, sementara Puskesmas Genuk berperan dalam monitoring kesehatan remaja. Kesimpulannya, program ini bermanfaat dalam meningkatkan kesadaran, keterlibatan, dan kepatuhan remaja putri terhadap pencegahan anemia, serta memperkuat sinergi antara sekolah, keluarga, dan layanan kesehatan. Keberlanjutan program diharapkan dapat diperluas melalui kolaborasi dengan puskesmas dan pengembangan media digital
