Analysis of Prevention and Handling of Violence Against Children and Its Implementation in Educational Institutions
This study aims to analyze efforts to prevent and handle violence against children and their implementation in educational institutions. Efforts to prevent and handle violence against children in the school environment are important, one of which is the formation of a Violence Prevention and Handling Team (TPPK). Previous studies have identified various aspects of preventing and handling violence in schools, including child protection policies in schools. The findings in this study highlight how the implementation of the TPPK program in schools is one of the efforts to prevent and handle violence in schools. The method used is the systematic literature review method by reviewing various related scientific articles from 2018-2024 which were accessed through the Google Scholar database related to the prevention and handling of violence against children and the policies therein. The results of the analysis show that the violence prevention and handling program is being implemented but still requires comprehensive socialization regarding the formation of a Violence Prevention and Handling Team in educational units. Prevention of violence against children can be carried out through a comprehensive approach that involves the active role of schools, families, and the community. The success of the child violence prevention and handling program in educational institutions is highly dependent on the commitment of all stakeholders, firm policies, and continuous monitoring and evaluation
From Ideals to Action: Promoting Peace Values in an Islamic Boarding School Committed to Activism
The values of peace education have consistently been implemented in public educational institutions and peace communities such as schools, Islamic boarding schools, and non-governmental peace organizations (NGOs) so that studies on the implementation of peace values in other educational institutions, such as pesantren-based schools, have become rare. This article seeks to fill this gap by examining the performance of peace values in Islamic boarding schools in Indonesia, focusing on Peaceantren Welas Asih (PWA) of Garut, West Java. The qualitative research method collects observation data, interviews, and document reviews. This research found a process of implementing the values of peace in PWA using the 12 values of peace as a basis. This was then revealed in activities encouraging PWA students to become peacemakers. The program I Massage Card, Positive Discipline, and Peace Camp is part of PWA\u27s efforts to instill peace values that have proven successful. In addition, cooperation between schools and parents of students helps these programs run successfully. This study concludes that developing pesantren-based schools is not only concerned with modernizing Islamic education. Still, the social-community role is far from that, especially the creation of human resources aware of peace.
Contribution: The study emphasizes the importance of collaboration between schools and parents in reinforcing peace education efforts. This insight can guide other institutions in developing partnerships that support educational goals
Pembinaan Pengemis di Kota Bandung Berdasarkan Perda Nomor 9 Tahun 2019 Ditinjau dari Siyasah Dusturiyah
Poverty has been a persistent problem in Indonesia since before its establishment as a nation, making it a complex and longstanding issue. Numerous studies have explored the causes of poverty and proposed solutions; however, the implementation of these solutions remains suboptimal. Urban poverty, exacerbated by the impact of development, is particularly evident in metropolitan cities, including Bandung. This contradicts the fundamental goal of development, which is to enhance community welfare. Bandung faces significant challenges with the presence of beggars and vagrants, despite the enactment of Regional Regulation Number 9 of 2019 concerning Public Order. The regulation\u27s sanctions have proven ineffective, and current empowerment programs often prioritize material assistance over fostering community independence, leading to dependency. This study aims to identify the root causes of poverty in Bandung, evaluate existing government programs, and propose more effective strategies for empowering beggars and vagrants. Using a qualitative descriptive method, data were collected through interviews, observations, and document analysis. The findings reveal that key factors contributing to poverty include low education levels, inadequate skills, and lack of motivation. Government efforts in training and social rehabilitation are essential for reintegrating individuals into society and promoting self-reliance. The study concludes that addressing poverty and the challenges faced by beggars and vagrants in Bandung requires a comprehensive and integrated approach involving government policies and active community participation. This research contributes to the discourse on urban poverty alleviation by highlighting the importance of sustainable empowerment programs that focus on building independence rather than dependenc

Overcoming Gadget Addiction Among Rural Adolescents through Traditional Games: A Case Study in Langkat Regency, North Sumatra
This study examines solutions to address gadget addiction among children and adolescents in rural areas through traditional games characteristic of North Sumatra Province, such as Rimau Langkat, kite flying, stick fighting, and marbles. The research was conducted in Perlis Village, Berandan Barat District, Langkat Regency, North Sumatra Province. The research method used is qualitative, through participatory observation, interviews, and documentation study. The findings show that children and adolescents in the village have begun to be affected by gadget addiction, although not all of them are influenced by gadgets. The study in Perlis Village shows that they successfully overcame gadget addiction through traditional games, which managed to divert their attention from excessive gadget use. Traditional games like Rimau Langkat, kite flying, stick fighting, and marbles not only succeeded in reducing gadget dependence but also improved physical skills, social interaction, and a sense of togetherness among children. The phenomenon of gadget addiction, which initially led to decreased participation in social activities such as communal prayers and religious studies, now shows a positive change as children begin to interact directly and engage more actively in outdoor activities. This study refutes the argument that children and adolescents today are difficult to separate from gadgets, as they are considered part of their development and culture. This study concludes that children and adolescents can still be saved from the dangers of gadget addiction and that the local wisdom of rural communities can address the negative impacts of modernity, even though they do not reject it

THE DEVELOPMENT OF MAGNETIC FIELD LEARNING MODULE INTEGRATED WITH AUGMENTED REALITY (AR) FOR SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL: A NEED ANALYSIS
The aim of this study was to provide empirical data for the development of an augmented reality (AR) integrated physics learning module that focuses on difficult topics among high school students. Using a quantitative approach, 131 students and 26 physics teachers from West Sumatra completed a needs assessment questionnaire. Magnetic fields were identified as the most difficult topic, cited by 34% of students and 65% of teachers due to their abstract nature and lack of visualization tools. Current teaching methods and materials do not adequately support students\u27 understanding. Both teachers and students expressed a strong preference for modules that integrate AR to visualize abstract concepts, increase engagement, and provide clear explanations, practical activities, and problem-solving examples. Although the potential of AR is recognized, it is underutilized as there is currently no integration with physics modules. This study highlights the urgent need for AR-based modules to improve learning outcomes, especially on complex topics such as magnetic fields

Analysis of Qawa’id Fiqhiyyah in the Utilization of Zakat as a Solution to Illegal Online Loans
The phenomenon of online loans has become a pressing societal issue, affecting many individuals struggling with debt repayment, contributing to rising suicide rates. Zakat, as an Islamic social finance instrument, should help mitigate these negative impacts. This article examines the utilization of zakat funds as a solution to the online loan crisis from the perspective of Qawa’id Fiqhiyyah (Islamic legal maxims). Using a normative juridical approach with descriptive analysis, this study explores the application of Qawa’id Fiqhiyyah in utilizing zakat funds to address online loan issues. The findings reveal that zakat can address online loan problems, aligning with the maxim that “harm must be eliminated.” Borrowers often experience harm, such as threats, intimidation, and data breaches when they cannot repay debts. Zakat offers assistance to victims, helping them avoid actions violating Islamic principles, in line with the maxim “hardship brings ease.” However, borrowers must meet the gharim criteria, especially if the loans were used to purchase prohibited items under Islamic law. This study provides a novel perspective on zakat by employing the Qawa’id Fiqhiyyah approach to tackle the issue of online loans in Indonesia
