    QUALITY ASSESSMENT OF ORGANIC MENTIK SUSU AND NON-ORGANIC CIHERANG RICE IN CANDIPURO, SOUTH LAMPUNG

    Rice quality plays an important role in determining market value and consumer preference, particularly as organic rice gains popularity for its health and environmental benefits. This study aimed to evaluate and compare the physical quality of organic Mentik Susu rice and non-organic Ciherang rice according to the Indonesian National Standard (SNI 6128:2015). The research was conducted at the Quality Laboratory of Politeknik Negeri Lampung in August 2025. The analysis involved assessing head rice, broken rice, brewers, damaged grains, chalky grains, colored grains, foreign materials, and unhulled grains. The results showed that both rice varieties met the general requirements for quality rice, with no presence of pests, foreign odors, bran contamination, or harmful chemicals. Based on specific parameters, Mentik Susu met seven out of eight criteria for premium-grade quality, except for head rice, which fell slightly below the 85 percent minimum threshold and was classified as Medium I. In contrast, Ciherang met the Medium I category for several parameters but did not meet the standard for broken rice and brewers due to exceeding maximum limits. The findings indicate that Mentik Susu organic rice has better grain integrity and physical quality compared to Ciherang, although both require improved post-harvest handling-especially during drying and milling, to meet the premium standard. These results highlight the importance of optimizing cultivation and post-harvest management to enhance the competitiveness of local rice varieties in the premium market

    Analisis Komparatif Kinerja HAProxy dan Zevenet pada Infrastruktur Web Server Bare-Metal Linux

    As system demands for speed, stability, and traffic handling continue to grow, selecting the right load balancing solution becomes increasingly critical. This study compares the performance of two open-source load balancers, HAProxy and Zevenet, on a Linux-based bare-metal web server infrastructure. The experiment was conducted using two identical backend servers and the wrk benchmarking tool, configured for five-minute tests, 1000 concurrent connections, and twelve repetitions per platform. The results show that HAProxy achieved a lower average latency (261.97 ms), higher throughput (1076.68 RPS), and fewer timeout errors (15,952) compared to Zevenet. While Zevenet offers a more user-friendly graphical interface, HAProxy proved to be more efficient and stable in high-traffic conditions. This study provides practical insights for implementing effective load balancing in non-virtualized systems with limited resources and high-performance demands.Seiring meningkatnya kebutuhan sistem yang cepat, stabil, dan mampu menangani trafik tinggi, pemilihan solusi load balancing yang tepat menjadi krusial. Penelitian ini membandingkan performa dua perangkat lunak load balancer open-source, yaitu HAProxy dan Zevenet, pada infrastruktur web server bare-metal berbasis Linux. Pengujian dilakukan menggunakan dua server backend identik dan alat benchmark wrk, dengan skenario lima menit pengujian, 1000 koneksi simultan, dan dua belas kali ulangan untuk masing-masing platform. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa HAProxy menghasilkan latency rata-rata lebih rendah (261,97 ms), throughput lebih tinggi (1076,68 RPS), dan error timeout lebih sedikit (15.952) dibandingkan Zevenet. Meskipun Zevenet memiliki antarmuka grafis yang lebih mudah digunakan, HAProxy terbukti lebih efisien dan stabil dalam menangani trafik padat. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi praktis bagi pengembangan sistem berbasis fisik non-virtualisasi yang menuntut kinerja tinggi dengan sumber daya terbatas

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan nilai power paling optimal yang akan digunakan dalam interpolasi curah hujan periode tahun 2023 di Kabupaten Langkat dengan menggunakan metode Inverse Distance Weighted (IDW) dengan variasi nilai power yang digunakan adalah 1 sampai 6,8 serta menjelaskan hasil interpolasi curah hujan di Kabupaten Langkat. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data curah hujan Kabupaten Langkat yang bersumber dari Badan Pusat Statistik Kabupaten Langkat dengan jumlah titik pengamatan yang digunakan sebanyak 25. Hasil penelitian ini menyatakan bahwa variasi power mendekati keadaan sebenarnya adalah variasi nilai power 6,8 yang memiliki nilai Root Mean Square Error (RMSE) yaitu 49,99 mm/tahun. Berdasarkan hasil interpolasi dengan metode IDW, titik pengamatan yang memiliki curah hujan yang paling tinggi terletak pada Kecamatan Salapian dan curah hujan terendah terletak di Kecamatan Pangkalan Susu.This study aims to determine the most optimal power value to be used in the interpolation of rainfall for the period 2023 in Langkat Regency using the Inverse Distance Weighted (IDW) method with variations in the power value used is 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6.8 and explain the results of rainfall interpolation in Langkat Regency. The data used in this research is Langkat Regency rainfall data sourced from the Langkat Regency Central Statistics Agency with a total of 25 observation points used. The results of this study state that the variation of power close to the actual situation is the variation of the power value of 6.8 which has a Root Mean Square Error (RMSE) value of 49.99 mm/year. Based on the interpolation results with the IDW method, the observation point that has the highest rainfall is located in Salapian District and the lowest is Pangkalan Susu District

    This study evaluates public sentiment toward Constitutional Court Decision No. 90/PUU-XXI/2023 regarding the age limit for presidential and vice-presidential candidates, a controversial issue closely related to Indonesia’s democratic dynamics. Understanding public opinion on Twitter, as a major platform for political expression, is essential for informing electoral policy formulation. Data were collected using Tweet Harvest through Google Colab and analyzed using the Naïve Bayes algorithm as the primary sentiment classification method, with RapidMiner employed to support and streamline the analytical process. The analysis process included data cleaning, text normalization, stopword removal, manual labeling of 80 tweets as training data, and automatic sentiment classification to identify positive and negative sentiments. From a total of 151 analyzed tweets, 84 (55.63%) were classified as negative and 67 (44.37%) as positive, with the model achieving an accuracy of 66.67%. These findings suggest a tendency toward public opposition to the decision, reflecting dissatisfaction among Twitter users. The study demonstrates that Naïve Bayes is reasonably effective for sentiment classification with limited datasets and provides insights for policymakers in understanding public responses to election-related regulations

    Sistem informasi SPJ berbasis web dengan metode Agile di Dinas Keuangan Papua Barat

    This study builds an internet-accessible Accountability Letter Information System (SI SUPER) for the Finance Office of West Papua Province. The goal is to speed up the process of making a Disbursement Order (SP2D), overcome the spread of hardcopy files, and provide quick access to important documents. Development using the Agile method consists of the stages of requirements, design, development, testing, and implementation. The SI SUPER application enables submission of Fund Disbursement Orders (SP2D), creation of SP2D by managers, and archiving of other key documents. The application is also equipped with features for administrators, financial managers, and Regional Apparatus Organizations (OPD) or Departments. The application functions according to its functional needs after undergoing black box testing. SI SUPER can be developed quickly and flexibly according to user needs using Agile and Laravel development frameworks. It is hoped that the application will help the West Papua local government implements information technology and overcomes problems in the financial sector.Studi ini membangun Sistem Informasi Surat Pertanggung Jawaban (SI SUPER) yang dapat diakses melalui internet untuk Dinas Keuangan Provinsi Papua Barat. Tujuannya adalah untuk mempercepat proses pembuatan Surat Perintah Pencairan Dana (SP2D), mengatasi penyebaran berkas hardcopy, dan menyediakan akses cepat ke dokumen penting. Pengembangan pada metode Agile meliputi tahapan persyaratan, desain, pengembangan, pengujian, dan implementasi. Aplikasi SI SUPER memungkinkan pengajuan Surat Perintah Pencairan Dana (SP2D), pembuatan SP2D oleh pengelola, dan pengarsipan dokumen utama lainnya. Aplikasi ini juga dilengkapi dengan fitur untuk administrator, pengelola keuangan, dan Organisasi Perangkat Daerah (OPD) atau Dinas. Aplikasi berfungsi sesuai kebutuhan fungsionalnya setelah menjalani pengujian black box. SI SUPER dapat dikembangkan cepat dan fleksibel sesuai kebutuhan pengguna dengan menggunakan framework pengembangan Agile dan Laravel. Aplikasi diharapkan membantu pemerintah daerah Papua Barat menerapkan teknologi informasi dan mengatasi masalah di bidang keuangan

    Penerapan SQ3R Berbasis Budaya dan Berdiferensiasi Untuk Meningkatkan Literasi Matematika

    Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk meingkatkan kemampuan literasi matematika melalui pembelajaran SQ3R ( Survey, Question, Read, Recite, Review) berbasis kearifan budaya lokal yang ada di Kota Salatiga dan dengan pendekatan berdiferensiasi pada peserta didik kelas 1 SD N Kecandran 01 Salatiga. Metode penelitian dengan menggunakan CAR (penelitian tindakan kelas) dari model Kemmis dan MC Taggart yang terdiri atas 4 tahapan: perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Siklus penelitian ini terdiri dari 2 siklus, dengan jumlah 28 peserta didik sebagai subjek penelitian. Sedangkan teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes, dokumentasi, dan observasi. Sedangkan untuk analisis data yang digunakan dianalisis secara kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil yang diperoleh dari tindakan penelitian kelas menunjukkan adanya peningkatan presentase rata-rata kemampuan literasi matematika peserta didik, pada pra siklus sebesar 32%, dan mengalami peningkatan pada siklus I sebesar 71%, dan pada siklus II mengalami peningkatan sebesar 86%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang diperoleh tersebut, maka dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa melalui penerapan model pembelajaran SQ3R ( Survey, Question, Read, Recite, Review) berbasis kearifan budaya lokal yang ada di Kota Salatiga dan dengan pendekatan berdiferensiasi dapat meningkatkan kemampuan literasi matematikaThis study aims to improve mathematical literacy skills through SQ3R (survey, question, read, recite, review) learning based on local cultural wisdom in Salatiga City and with a differentiated approach to grade 1 students of SD N Kecandran 01 Salatiga. The research method uses CAR (classroom action research) designed by Kemmis and McTaggart, which consists of 4 stages: planning, action, observation, and reflection. This research cycle consists of 2 cycles, with a total of 28 students as research subjects. The data collection techniques used include tests, documentation, and observation. While for the analysis of the data was analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively. The results obtained from the classroom action research showed an increase in the average percentage of students' mathematical literacy skills, in the pre-cycle by 52%, and increased in cycle I by 83%, and in cycle II increased by 91%.  Based on the research results obtained, it can be concluded that through the application of the SQ3R learning model (survey, question, read, recite, review) based on local cultural wisdom in Salatiga City and with a differentiation approach, mathematical literacy skills can be improved

    THE EFFECT OF GOAT AND SWALLOW MANURE ON COCOA SEEDLING GROWTH

    Cocoa production is closely related to the implementation of cultivation techniques and seedling quality. Various efforts have been made to obtain the expected seedlings, including by providing nutrients in the planting media according to the needs of the seedlings. The study aimed to determine the best planting media for cocoa seedling growth by applying fertilizer from goat manure and swallow droppings. The research was conducted from January to April 2024 in Tarengge Village, Wotu Subdistrict, East Luwu Regency, South Sulawesi Province. The research was conducted using a Randomized Group Design (RAK), with planting media treatment (K) consisting of four treatments, namely K0= soil (control), K1= soil+ goat manure (1:1), K2 = soil+ swallow manure (1:1), and K3 = soil + goat manure + swallow manure (1:1:1). The four treatments were repeated three times and each replication contained two polybag units, making a total of 24 experimental units. The growth parameters observed were: plant height, number of leaves, and stem diameter. The results of the research obtained were then tabulated and processed using the STAR application, then the results of the analysis of variance that had a real or very real effect on the parameters observed would be subjected to further tests of the Least Significant Difference (BNT). The results showed that the planting media mixture of soil, goat manure, and swallow manure (1:1:1) had a significant effect on the observed parameters. The results showed that the mixed planting medium of soil, goat manure, and swallow manure (1:1:1) produced a plant height of 18.33 cm, 8.66 leaves, and a stem diameter of 1.40 cm.Produksi kakao mempunyai kaitan yang sangat erat dengan pelaksanaan teknik budidaya dan kualitas bibit.  Berbagai upaya telah dilakukan  untuk mendapatkan bibit yang diharapkan, di antaranya dengan menyediakan hara pada media tanam sesuai dengan kebutuhan bibit.  Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui media tanam yang terbaik terhadap pertumbuhan bibit tanaman kakao dengan melakukan pemberian kotoran kambing dan kotoran wallet.  Penelitian  dilaksanakan pada bulan Januari sampai dengan April tahun 2024 di Desa Tarengge Kecamatan Wotu Kabupaten Luwu Timur Provinsi Sulawesi Selatan. Penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK), dengan perlakuan media tanam (K) yang terdiri dari empat perlakuan yaitu K0 = tanah (kontrol),  K1 = tanah + kotoran kambing (1:1), K2 = tanah + kotoran wallet (1:1), dan K3 = tanah + kotoran kambing + kotoran wallet (1:1:1). Dari empat perlakuan tersebut, diulang sebanyak tiga kali dan setiap ulangan terdapat dua unit polybag sehingga keseluruhan adalah 24 unit percobaan.  Parameter pertumbuhan yang diamati adalah: tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun dan diameter batang. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh kemudian ditabulasi dan diolah  dengan menggunakan aplikasi STAR, selanjutnya hasil analisis sidik ragam yang berpengaruh nyata atau sangat nyata pada parameter yang diamati, akan dilakukan uji lanjut Beda Nyata Terkecil (BNT). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media tanam campuran tanah, kotoran kambing dan kotoran wallet (1:1:1) berpengaruh nyata dan memberikan hasil terbaik pada  parameter tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, dan diameter batang bibit tanaman kakao

    Analisis sentimen masyarakat terhadap PON 2024 Aceh dan Sumatra Utara di Twitter menggunakan algoritma SVM dan KNN

    Pekan Olahraga Nasional (PON) 2024 yang diselenggarakan di Aceh dan Sumatra Utara menjadi salah satu peristiwa olahraga terbesar yang menarik opini publik melalui media sosial, khususnya Twitter. Penelitian ini membandingkan performa algoritma Support Vector Machine (SVM) dan K-Nearest Neighbor (KNN) dalam analisis sentimen masyarakat terhadap PON 2024. Data yang dikumpulkan melalui crawling menghasilkan 1.458 tweet, yang terdiri dari 1.321 tweet berlabel positif dan 137 tweet berlabel negatif. Data tersebut kemudian diproses menggunakan tahapan pre-processing teks. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa SVM dengan TF-IDF menghasilkan akurasi tertinggi, yaitu 95,45% pada data training dan 91,78% pada data testing, dengan F1-score 96%, yang menunjukkan performa paling stabil. Sementara itu, KNN menunjukkan hasil terbaik pada K = 4 dengan Word Embedding, dengan akurasi 95,20% pada data training dan 92,12% pada data testing, namun memiliki variasi kinerja yang lebih besar dibandingkan SVM. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa algoritma SVM dan KNN dapat diandalkan untuk analisis sentimen media sosial, dengan kontribusi signifikan terhadap evaluasi persepsi publik terkait PON 2024.The 2024 National Sports Week (PON) held in Aceh and North Sumatra is one of the largest sports events that attracted public attention on social media, particularly on Twitter. This study compares the performance of Support Vector Machine (SVM) and K-Nearest Neighbor (KNN) in sentiment analysis related to PON 2024. The collected data consists of 1,458 tweets, including 1,321 positive tweets and 137 negative tweets, which were processed using text pre-processing techniques. The results show that SVM with TF-IDF achieved the highest accuracy (95.45% on the training data and 91.78% on the testing data), with an F1-score of 96%, demonstrating the most stable performance. Meanwhile, KNN performed best at K = 4 with Word Embedding, achieving 95.20% accuracy on the training data and 92.12% on the testing data, but exhibited greater performance variation than SVM. This study highlights that both SVM and KNN are reliable for sentiment analysis on social media, making a significant contribution to the evaluation of public perception of PON 2024

    SUSTAINABILITY OF ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY LABELING IN SUPPORTING SUSTAINABLE CONSUMPTION AND PRODUCTION

    Abstract Environmental protection instruments in Law Number 32 of 2009 concerning Environmental Protection and Management (UUPPLH) are divided into preventive and repressive. One of the preventive instruments in UUPPLH is an economic instrument. Environmentally friendly labels (ekolabels) are one part of the monetary instrument. The arrangement of ecologically friendly labels is needed to support sustainable consumption and production policies. However, there are still several problems with arranging environmentally friendly labels, one of which is the practice of greenwashing. This study focuses on the issue of whether the arrangement of ecologically friendly labels follows the direction of sustainable consumption and production policies and whether their implementation can reduce greenwashing activities. The method used in this study is normative juridical, which is carried out through a literature study using primary and secondary legal materials. The study's results indicate that the arrangement of voluntary environmentally friendly labels is still insufficient to reduce greenwashing practices, so sustainable consumption and production goals have not been optimally achieved.Abstrak Instrumen perlindungan lingkungan hidup dalam Undang- Undang Nomor 32 Tahun 2009 tentang Perlindungan dan Pengelolaan Lingkungan Hidup (UUPPLH) terbagi menjadi preventif dan represif. Salah satu instrumen preventif  dalam UUPPLH adalah instrumen ekonomi. Label ramah lingkungan (ekolabel) merupakan salah satu bagian dari instrumen ekonomi. Penataan label ramah lingkungan diperlukan guna mendukung kebijakan konsumsi dan produksi berkelanjutan. Kendati demikian, penataan label ramah lingkungan masih menyimpan beberapa masalah salah satunya yaitu praktik greenwashing. Kajian ini berfokus pada permasalahan mengenai apakah penataan label ramah lingkungan telah sesuai dengan arah kebijakan konsumsi dan produksi berkelanjutan serta apakah dalam pelaksanaannya mampu mengurangi aktivitas greenwashing. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah yuridis normatif yang dilakukan dengan menggunakan bahan hukum primer dan bahan hukum sekunder. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penataan label ramah lingkungan yang bersifat sukarela masih belum cukup mampu mengurangi praktek greenwashing sehingga tujuan dalam konsumsi dan produksi berkelanjutan belum tercapai secara optimal

    Pengembangan Desa Wisata Tingkir Lor Melalui Penulisan Konten Website

    Peran pariwisata dalam mengembangkan perekonomian masyarakat di berbagai tempat sangat besar, seperti halnya yang terjadi di desa wisata Tingkir Lor. Letak geografis dan beragamnya potensi yang dimiliki desa Tingkir Lor menjadikannya sebagai desa wisata pertama di Salatiga. Perkembangan desa wisata Tingkir Lor tidak terlepas dari peran kelompok sadar wisata (Pokdarwis) yang mengkoordinir kegiatan dan program-program yang berkaitan dengan penyediaan layanan wisata di Tingkir Lor. Salah satu upaya pokdarwis untuk menyampaikan informasi sekaligus promosi berupa website yang dirintis pada tahun 2015  dan sampai saat ini masih memerlukan pengembangan. Untuk memperkaya isi konten website desa wisata Tingkir Lor tersebut, tim PkM Program  Studi Sastra Inggris yang terdiri dari dua mahasiswa dan tiga dosen melakukan program pengabdian kepada masyarakat untuk menjawab kebutuhan masyarakat khususnya warga Tingkir Lor. Kegiatan PkM ini terintegrasi dengan kelas Travel Writing yang menghasilkan artikel bahasa Inggris tentang tujuh UMKM di desa wisata Tingkir Lor yang kemudian disunting dan diterjemahkan ke dalam bahasa Indonesia oleh Tim PkM. Hasil tulisan tersebut diunggah di website desa wisata Tingkir Lor. Melalui pendampingan dalam mengembangkan konten website desa wisata Tingkir Lor diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat Tingkir Lor untuk memperkenalkan potensi desa yang beragam serta kearifan lokal yang masih belum terekspose, yang pada akhirnya bermanfaat untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat.The tourism roles in developing the economy of people in various places are immense, as is the case in Tingkir Lor tourism village. The geographical location and diverse potential of Tingkir Lor village made it the first tourist village in Salatiga. The development of Tingkir Lor tourist village is inseparable from the role of the tourist awareness group (Pokdarwis) which coordinates activities and programs related to the provision of tourist services in Tingkir Lor. An effort by Pokdarwis to convey information as well as promotion is in its website, which was pioneered in 2015 and still requires development. To enrich the content of the Tingkir Lor tourism village website, the Community Service (PkM) team from English Literature Study Program consisting of two students and three lecturers conducted a program to answer the needs of the community, especially the residents of Tingkir Lor. This PkM activity is integrated with the Travel Writing class which produces English articles about seven MSMEs in the Tingkir Lor tourist village which are then edited and translated into Indonesian by the PkM Team. The results of the writing were uploaded on the Tingkir Lor tourist village website. Through assistance in developing the content of the Tingkir Lor tourist village website, it is hoped that it can increase the awareness of the Tingkir Lor community to introduce the diverse potential of the village and local wisdom that is still not exposed, which in turn is beneficial to improve the welfare of the community
