Pengaruh Kepemimpinan dan Total Quality Management terhadap Kualitas Layanan Pendidikan: Studi Komparatif Perspektif Siswa dan Guru
This study examines the influence of leadership and the implementation of Total Quality Management (TQM) on the quality of educational services from the perspectives of teachers and students. Ensuring service quality is essential for schools to remain competitive amid globalization and rapid technological change. Using a quantitative approach with a cross-sectional correlational design, data were collected from 100 respondents (75 students and 25 teachers) through Likert-scale questionnaires. Data analysis employed correlation tests, simple and multiple regression, along with classical assumption tests. The results indicate that leadership and TQM simultaneously have a significant effect on the quality of educational services, with R² values of 0.809 (teachers) and 0.669 (students). However, partial analysis shows that only TQM exerts a statistically significant influence, while the effect of leadership becomes insignificant when controlled alongside TQM. These findings highlight that TQM principles—such as continuous improvement, broad participation, and a focus on customer satisfaction—are the dominant determinants of service quality. The novelty of this study lies in demonstrating the comparative weight of TQM and leadership within the Indonesian school context, showing that effective leadership alone is insufficient without a systematic quality management framework. The study contributes to the theory of educational leadership by clarifying its enabling role in implementing TQM, and to TQM theory by emphasizing its central role in educational service delivery. Practically, the findings suggest that schools and policymakers should prioritize comprehensive TQM adoption supported by transformational leadership to sustain quality improvements
Peran Kepala Sekolah Sebagai Manajer dalam Penguatan Enterprenuership di Sekolah Gratis SD Kuncup Melati Semarang
Entrepreneurship education at the elementary school level plays a strategic role in shaping students' creative, independent, and adaptive characters, especially in free schools that face resource constraints. This study aims to analyze the planning, organization, implementation, and supervision of entrepreneurship at Kuncup Melati Elementary School in Semarang. The research subjects included the principal, teachers, foundation, school committee, and parents who played an active role in supporting the program. The study used a qualitative approach with a case study design to explore entrepreneurship practices comprehensively. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, direct observation, and school archive documentation. Data validity was maintained through extended observation, increased persistence, and triangulation. Data analysis was conducted using an interactive model, including the stages of collection, reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing, resulting in reliable and verified findings. The results of the study show that entrepreneurial planning involves setting goals, SWOT analysis, work meetings, forming an implementation team, and budget planning with the support of internal and external stakeholders. The organizational process includes identifying tasks, grouping, delegating authority, and arranging competency-based working relationships. The program is integrated into learning and extracurricular activities, such as market day, batik as local content, and craft making, with the active participation of teachers and parents. Supervision is carried out through supervision by the principal and regular evaluations by the foundation and school committee. The study recommends that schools create a conducive environment, provide supporting facilities, and expand the space for entrepreneurial practice, for example through school bazaars or experience-based projects. The novelty of this research lies in its focus on entrepreneurial practices in free elementary schools with limited resources, thus offering conceptual and practical contributions to the development of community-based entrepreneurship models in Indonesia.
The Influence Of CSR And Political Connections On Company Performance By Moderating Governance Mechanisms
This study aims to determine and analyze the influence of sustainability reporting practices and the quality of CSR disclosures as well as political connections to company performance, either directly or indirectly, by involving governance mechanisms as mediators. This study uses secondary data on banking companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2013 to 2021. The sample selection method uses a purposive sampling method with several criteria to produce 383 observations. The analysis technique used is simple and multiple linear regression analysis using STATA 12 application and Sobel test for mediation test. The results of this study provide empirical evidence that the practice of reporting on the sustainability of banking companies cannot improve the company's performance, this is because banks have not fully prepared sustainability reports and used insurance services, while the quality of CSR disclosure and political connections can improve company performance. The results also show that the practice of sustainability reporting and the quality of CSR disclosure as well as political connections can improve company performance through governance mechanisms
Analisis hubungan antara kualitas layanan jaringan dan pengalaman pengguna pada layanan video streaming youtube
The quality of user experience (Quality of Experience/QoE) in YouTube video streaming services is highly influenced by the quality of network service (Quality of Service/QoS). QoS measurement is conducted using Wireshark software with parameters such as throughput, packet loss, delay, and jitter, and assessed based on the TIPHON standard. Meanwhile, QoE is evaluated through a survey of 30 respondents and measured using the Likert scale.The analysis results indicate that QoS falls into the "Good" category, with a throughput of 1,545.45 kbps at 51.5%, 0% packet loss, 5.69 ms delay, and 0.0015 ms jitter. Additionally, the average QoE score of 4.55 suggests that the user experience is also considered good. Further analysis reveals a correlation between QoS and QoE, where a more optimal network quality positively impacts user experience. These findings provide insights for service providers to optimize streaming quality to meet user expectations

Choosing a strategic business location is a key factor in building a successful enterprise, especially in Lautem Municipality, Timor-Leste. This area presents various opportunities for businesses such as grocery shops, small restaurants, repair workshops, and agricultural ventures. However, entrepreneurs often face challenges like poor road infrastructure, limited purchasing power, and inadequate transport access. This study developed a web-based Decision Support System (DSS) using the ELECTRE method to help business owners select the most suitable location. The system evaluates multiple location options based on important criteria such as population density, transportation access, and economic activity. By using this approach, entrepreneurs can reduce the risk of choosing an unprofitable location and improve their chances of success. The results show that implementing the ELECTRE method in a DSS is effective for identifying optimal business sites. These findings are expected to serve as a practical reference for entrepreneurs in Lospalos and nearby areas, while also supporting local economic development in the region
Persepsi dan Sikap Siswa Terhadap Penggunaan Artificial Intelligence
Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi pengalaman siswa dalam menggunakan kecerdasan buatan (AI) untuk menulis dan menyelesaikan tugas rumah, persepsi mereka terhadap dampak AI dalam tugas akademik, serta sikap siswa terhadap kebijakan sekolah terkait teknologi ini. Dengan pendekatan kuantitatif, data dikumpulkan melalui survei menggunakan angket dari 72 siswa yang dipilih secara acak. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 88,9% siswa telah menggunakan alat AI seperti ChatGPT, Gemini, dan Canva dalam menyelesaikan tugas mereka, dengan ChatGPT sebagai yang paling populer (94,4%), diikuti oleh Gemini (70,8%) dan Canva (51,4%). Sebagian besar siswa merasa AI membantu mereka dalam menyusun esai dan menyelesaikan tugas rumah, tetapi terdapat variasi signifikan dalam tingkat kepuasan mereka terhadap jawaban AI. Sekitar 63,9% siswa menyatakan jawaban AI kadang-kadang memuaskan, sementara 26,4% siswa merasa bahwa jawaban AI sering memuaskan. Hanya 2,8% siswa yang merasa selalu puas, sementara 6,9% lainnya menyatakan jarang puas. Hasil ini mengindikasikan bahwa meskipun AI dapat membantu dalam konteks akademik, ada keterbatasan dalam akurasi dan relevansi jawaban yang diberikan, yang berpotensi tidak sepenuhnya memenuhi ekspektasi siswa dalam konteks pendidikan. Selain itu, persepsi siswa terhadap kebijakan sekolah terkait penggunaan AI menunjukkan adanya kebutuhan untuk regulasi yang jelas dan berimbang, sehingga teknologi AI dapat dimanfaatkan secara efektif tanpa mengorbankan integritas akademik. Temuan ini memberikan kontribusi baru dengan menawarkan pemahaman spesifik mengenai cara siswa menggunakan AI dalam tugas akademik sehari-hari serta persepsi mereka terhadap kebijakan terkait. Penelitian ini juga menekankan pentingnya literasi AI di kalangan siswa dan mengusulkan agar institusi pendidikan merumuskan kebijakan yang tidak hanya membatasi, tetapi juga mendidik siswa tentang penggunaan AI yang bertanggung jawab dan etis, mendukung pembelajaran berkelanjutan dalam era digital.
Kata Kunci: Kecerdasan Buatan, Integritas Akademik, Persepsi Siswa, Kebijakan Sekolah terkait Penggunaan AIThis study explores students' perceptions and attitudes toward using artificial intelligence (AI) to write and complete homework assignments. The research subjects were 72 randomly selected students from SMA Unggulan RUSHD. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using descriptive quantitative methods for closed-ended questions (utilizing percentages and averages) and thematic qualitative analysis for open-ended questions. The results revealed that 88.9% of students used AI tools such as ChatGPT to complete their assignments. Most students found AI helpful, but satisfaction with AI-generated answers varied, with 63.9% stating they were sometimes satisfied, 26.4% often satisfied, and only 2.8% always satisfied. These findings indicate that while AI supports academic tasks, limitations in accuracy and relevance prevent it from fully meeting students' expectations. Clear school regulations are needed to ensure AI is effectively utilized without compromising academic integrity. This study contributes new insights into how students use AI for daily academic tasks and their perceptions of related policies. It also emphasizes the importance of AI literacy among students and suggests that educational institutions develop policies that not only regulate but also educate students on responsible and ethical AI usage, fostering sustainable learning in the digital age
The effects of financial literacy, materialism, and risk perception on millenials’ indebtedness
Better financial literacy enables individuals, especially millennials, to make sound financial decisions. However, financial decisions, including indebtedness, are also influenced by other factors, such as materialism and risk perception. Accordingly, this study aims to investigate the effects of financial literacy, materialism, and risk perception on indebtedness among the millennial generation, employing a quantitative approach. We generated our data by distributing the questionnaires to the 190 respondents. The sample was selected using a purposive sampling technique to include individuals who were indebted and born between 1980 and 2000. This study ran SEM by using SmartPLS 4.0 to analyze the data. The empirical results reveal that financial literacy and risk perception negatively affect indebtedness, while materialism positively affects indebtedness. Our findings suggest that poorer financial literacy may lead to inadequate financial planning, while excessively materialistic individuals tend to be less appreciative of their possessions. Lastly, a lower risk perception leads to a poor understanding of the value of money. Our study suggests that financial literacy likely enhances the financial awareness, skills, attitudes, and behaviors essential for individuals’ future financial well-being. Such awareness helps them avoid impulsive behaviors and consider the risks associated with their financial decisions.Tingkat pemahaman literasi keuangan dapat menjadi tolak ukur individu dalam bijak atau tidaknya mengambil keputusan keuangan, di dukung dengan tingkat materialisme dan pemahaman persepsi risiko, ketiganya menjadi penting untuk melihat tingkat utang yang terjadi, khususnya pada Generasi Milenial.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan Utang pada Generasi Milenial dilihat dari Literasi Keuangan, Materialisme, dan Persepsi Risiko menggunakan metode kuantitatif. Sampel penelitian dilakukan dengan menyebarkan kuisioner kepada 190 responden dengan teknik pengambilan sampel kepada individu dengan rentang kelahiran dari tahun 1980-2000 dan pernah memiliki utang (purposive sampling). Teknik analisis data SEM (Structural Equation Modeling) dengan SmartPLS 4.0 digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Berdasarkan penelitian, literasi keuangan dan persepsi risiko berpengaruh negatif terhadap utang, Sementara materialime berpengaruh positif terhadap utang. Penelitian tersebut menemukan bahwa rendahnya literasi keuangan dapat mengakibatkan perencaan keuangan yang kurang baik, materialism yang tinggi mengakibatkan kurang mensyukuri hal yang sudah dimiliki, serta rendahnya persepsi risiko akan membuat kesadaran nilai uang yang juga tidak baik. Implikasi penelitian ini adalah literasi keuangan dapat meningkatkan kesadaran akan masalah uang dan keterampilan, sikap, dan perilaku yang diperlukan untuk kesejahteraan finansial mereka di masa depan, serta kesadaran mereka akan perlunya menghindari tindakan impulsif dan mempertimbangkan risiko dengan hati-hati saat mengambil keputusan
COMMUNITY-BASED SOUVENIR DEVELOPMENT AND LOCAL ENGAGEMENT AT THE SANGIRAN WORLD HERITAGE SITE
Penelitian ini menelusuri potensi dan kendala pengembangan souvenir berbasis komunitas di Situs Warisan Dunia Sangiran. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan studi kasus kualitatif melalui focus group discussion, observasi partisipatif, serta wawancara dengan perajin lokal. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Sangiran memiliki potensi yang kuat untuk pengembangan souvenir berbasis warisan budaya, yang didukung oleh nilai paleoantropologis, ketersediaan material lokal, serta tradisi keterampilan masyarakat. Potensi tersebut tercermin dalam pengembangan souvenir berbahan batuan, tekstil etnografis, kerajinan bambu, dan produk pangan tradisional. Namun demikian, pengembangan souvenir masih menghadapi berbagai kendala, antara lain keterbatasan modal, rendahnya kapasitas teknis dan desain, pembatasan regulasi terhadap pengambilan material, lemahnya akses pasar, serta minimnya kolaborasi antara masyarakat dan institusi pengelola warisan. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa meskipun praktik awal produksi kreatif berbasis warisan telah ada, diperlukan penguatan kapasitas yang terkoordinasi serta dukungan institusional yang lebih kuat agar nilai ekonomi dan budaya yang terkandung dapat dimanfaatkan secara berkelanjutan.This study explores the potential and constraints of developing community-based souvenirs at the Sangiran World Heritage Site. Using a qualitative case study approach, combining focus group discussions, participant observation, and interviews with local artisans, the research identifies strong potential rooted in Sangiran’s paleoanthropological heritage, locally sourced materials, and existing craftsmanship traditions. Findings show that these assets could support authentic geological, textile, bamboo, and food-based souvenirs. However, development is constrained by limited capital, low technical and design capacity, regulatory restrictions on material extraction, weak market access, and minimal collaboration between communities and heritage institutions. The study concludes that although early forms of heritage-based creative production already exist, coordinated capacity-building and stronger institutional support are necessary to realize their full economic and cultural value
Analysis of Learning Patterns of Job Training Class Users on the Masadepan.ku Platform
Masadepan.ku platform provides digital-based job training classes; however, the utilization of user data to enhance learning effectiveness remains suboptimal. This study aims to analyze user learning patterns based on completion rates, final scores, and participation across various fields of study. The methods used include pearson correlation analysis and data visualization through dashboards. The findings indicate no significant correlation between final scores and class completion time, with a correlation value of -0.0896. Fields of study with high participation and completion rates include social sciences, which have a participation rate of 99% and a completion rate of 97%, as well as entrepreneurship, with a participation rate of 93% and a completion rate of 95%, followed by religion, law, and administration. Fields of study with low participation and low completion rates include education and others. Additionally, fields of study that also exhibit low participation and low completion rates include technology and accounting. In terms of user satisfaction, the health category recorded the highest average rating of 4.96, indicating a very high level of satisfaction among participants. Meanwhile, the engineering and automotive category registered the lowest average rating of 4.76. Fields of study that require improvement based on low completion rates and low ratings include automation, with a completion rate of 85% and an average rating of 4.79, and tourism, with a completion rate of 83% and an average rating of 4.85, as well as the others, design, technology, and accounting categories
Classification of Investment Opportunities in Semarang City Using the K-Nearest Neighbor Data Mining Method
Investment is an activity undertaken to allocate funds with the expectation of generating future returns. In a dynamic economic environment, identifying profitable investment opportunities can be a complex task. This study aims to determine potential investment opportunities in Semarang City using a classification method that facilitates business actors or investors in selecting appropriate business sectors. The study utilizes valid data to help investors make informed decisions when establishing a business in the region. Data collection was conducted through research at the Investment and One-Stop Integrated Services Agency (DPMPTSP) of Semarang City, employing a quantitative approach with the K-Nearest Neighbor (K-NN) method. The dataset was divided into training and testing sets with an 80:20 ratio. The experimental results show that the implementation of the K-NN algorithm, conducted using Google Colab, achieved an accuracy of 86% based on 60 testing data points. This demonstrates that the K-NN classification algorithm is effective and produces accurate predictions. Therefore, applying data mining classification techniques to identify investment opportunities can serve as a viable solution to support strategic decision-making for investors.their business development strategies with sector-specific prospects in Semarang City
