    Six Sigma-DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, And Control) Analysis in Reducing Building Structural Defects (Case Study: Emirates Indonesia Cardiology Hospital Project)

    Abstract. Construction projects often face challenges in maintaining quality, one of which is structural defects that can affect the quality and safety of the building. This study aims to analyze the level of defects in column, beam, and slab structures using the Six Sigma DMAIC method and provide solutions to improve these defects. The study was conducted on the Emirates Indonesia Cardiology Hospital Building Construction Project in Surakarta. The method used is a quantitative descriptive approach with the stages of Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, and Control. Data were obtained through field observations, interviews, documentation, and secondary project data. The analysis results show that the average sigma level value is above 3, with the highest level in the column structure reaching 4.3 sigma for the type of concrete flow defect. The main causes of defects come from human factors, work methods, materials, and supervision. Improvement solutions are formulated using a fishbone diagram analysis approach and the assistance of NVIVO software for qualitative data analysis. This study shows that the Six Sigma DMAIC method is effective in identifying and reducing defects in concrete structure work and can be used as a quality control strategy in construction projects.Keywords: Six Sigma, DMAIC, Structural Defects, Construction Quality, NVIV

    Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis implementasi pembelajaran Seni Budaya di SMPN 01 Bululawang melalui perspektif konstruktivisme sosial Vygotsky. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara dengan guru Seni Budaya, dan analisis dokumen pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa struktur kompetensi Seni Budaya di sekolah tersebut disusun secara berjenjang sesuai dengan konsep Zona Perkembangan Proksimal (ZPD). Lebih lanjut, di dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar ditemukan penerapan prinsip-prinsip konstruktivisme sosial melalui interaksi, pembimbingan bertahap (scaffolding), serta penggunaan alat mediasi budaya dalam bentuk bahan ajar sederhana. Namun, efektivitas implementasinya masih terhambat oleh keterbatasan sarana prasarana, rendahnya apresiasi mata pelajaran seni dari berbagai pihak, serta kesenjangan pemahaman konseptual siswa. Sebagai kontribusi, penelitian ini memberikan gambaran dinamika pembelajaran Seni Budaya dalam transisi Kurikulum Merdeka dan menawarkan perspektif teoretis untuk pengembangan praktik pembelajaran yang kontekstual

    The Formation of Indonesian VTuber Digital Identity: A Study of Expressive Speech Act

    This study investigates how expressive speech acts in Indonesian contribute to digital identity formation by an Indonesian Virtual YouTuber (VTuber). The research focuses on Mikazuki Arion, a VTuber on the YouTube platform, and aims to analyze how expressive speech acts such as praise, gratitude, greetings, complaints, and humor function in constructing a distinctive digital persona. Using a qualitative descriptive method with a sociopragmatic approach, data were obtained through observation and note-taking from Mikazuki Arion’s live broadcasts. The analysis examined the forms, functions, and pragmatic features of expressive speech acts that support self-representation in virtual communication. The findings show that expressive speech acts serve three key function in constructing VTuber identity: (1) establishing emotional intimacy and social bonds through repetition and affective language, (2) demonstrating authenticity and self-reflection via humor, irony, and stance softening, and (3) enhancing audience engagement through inclusive and performative interaction. These strategies enable Mikazuki Arion to present an appreciative, humorous, and relatable digital persona, reinforcing parasocial relationships and community belonging. The study concludes that expressive speech acts are not merely emotional expression but pragmatic tools for identity negotiation and relationship-building in digital interaction. Language thus becomes a central medium for performing self-representation and maintaining authenticity in Indonesian Vtuber culture, contributing to broader discussion of sociopragmatics and digital identity

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis nilai-nilai karakter yang terkandung pada pelajaran Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan (PPKn). Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan kajian pustaka, kajian pustaka dalam penelitian ilmiah yaitu salah satu bagian penting dari keseluruhan suatu langkah-langkah pada metode penelitian. Penelitian kepustakaan merupakan suatu kegiatan penelitian yang dilakukan oleh peneliti dengan cara mengumpulkan data-data atau berdasarkan karya tulis ilmiah dengan bertujuan obyek penelitian atau pengumpulan datanya yang bersifat kepustakaan, kemudian dilaksanakan untuk memecahkan suatu masalah terhadap bahan-bahan pustaka yang relevan. Berdasarkan hasil dan pembahasan yang telah diuraikan maka dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa nila-nilai karakter pada pelajaran Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan (PPKn) siswa kelas IV SD terdapat 9 nilai karakter yang ditemukan yaitu Religius, Jujur, Toleransi, Disiplin, Kerja Keras, Kreatif, Mandiri, Semangat Kebangsaan, Cinta Tanah Air, Sedangkan nilai-nilai karakter yang tidak ditemukan adalah Demokratis, Rasa Ingin Tahu, Menghargai Prestasi, Bersahabat/Komunikatif, Cinta Damai, Peduli Lingkungan, Peduli Sosial, Tanggung Jawab dan Gemar Membaca. Nilai-nilai karakter yang telah diteliti terdiri dari 18 nilai karakter dalam pengembangan pendidikan budaya dan karakter bangsa oleh kemendikbud

    This study aims to describe the results of the application of the project-based learning model in learning to write explanatory texts for class XI students of SMA N 1 Juwana in the 2023-2024 Academic Year. The background of this study is the lack of student interest in learning to write explanatory texts for class XI A students. The difficulties experienced by students include, in the selection of aspects of sentence effectiveness and punctuation, completeness of content, and the structure of explanatory texts are still not understood by students so that there are still errors in their application. In addition, learning media that are not yet varied are one of the factors causing the lack of enthusiasm of students in the learning process. Thus, the formulation of the problem obtained is how are the results of the application of digital scrapbook media in learning to write explanatory texts for students. This research is included in experimental research with the approach used, namely quantitative descriptive with a pre-experimental design. The data obtained in this study were collected by means of observation and questionnaires, while the sampling used was purposive sampling. The type used in this study is a one-shot case study. After data analysis, 1) In the knowledge aspect, 12 students or 66% obtained scores above the KKM, while 6 students or 34% had not achieved the KKM completion. The KKM value determined in Javanese language learning is 70. From the obtained scores, the average obtained was 75.9. 2) In the skills aspect, 13 students or 72% obtained scores above the KKM. while 5 students or 28% had not achieved the KKM completion. From the obtained scores, the average obtained was 72.7. Based on the analysis of the data obtained, it can be concluded that the application of digital scrapbook media in learning to write explanatory texts for class XI students can have an influence on the specified learning objectives. Thus, the application of digital scrapbook media in learning to write explanatory texts for class XI A students can have an influence on the achievement of the specified learning objectives

    Pendampingan Penyusunan Modul Ajar Kurikulum Merdeka Berbasis Adventure Education Bagi Guru PJOK SMK Kabupaten Semarang

    Permasalahan guru penjas SMK di Kabupaten Semarang pada tahun 2024 adalah kesulitan dalam meyusun modul ajar kurikulum merdeka dan tidak mengikuti program sekolah penggerak sehingga profil pelajar Pancasila menjadi sulit tercapai. Tujuan dari pengabdian pada masyarakat ini adalah MGMP PJOK SMK Kabupaten Semarang dapat mengetahui serta terampil dalam menyusun modul ajar kurikulum merdeka berbasis adventure education. Sehingga, dalam menghadapi kurikulum dimasa yang akan datang kesiapan guru PJOK harus siap dalam menyusun perangkat ajar yang inovatif. Metode kegiatan pengabdian ini dilakukan dengan Participatory Action Research dengan melakukan workshop dalam penyusunan modul ajar berbasis adventure education. Tahapan pelaksanaan disusun sebagai berikut: (1) Tahap analisis kebutuhan mitra; (2) Tahap persiapan; (3) Tahap Pelaksanaan; (4) Tahap evaluasi dan tindak lanjut. Berdasarkan hasil pendampingan pembuatan modul ajar berbasis adventure education yang dilaksanakan di MGMP PJOK SMK Kabupaten Semarang maka didapat kesimpulan para peserta pengabdian mampu menyusun perangkat ajar kurikulum merdeka berbasis adventure education. Para peserta dapat menyusun dengan sistematis serta mengetahui dasar-dasar dari penyusunan perangkat ajar tersebut. Peserta antusias dalam mengikuti pendampingan penyusunan perangkat ajar dalam hal ini adalah modul ajar berbasis adventure education yang dapat meningkatkan keterampilan siswa dan membentuk karakter

    ANALISIS MISKONSEPSI IPAS MATERI CAHAYA DAN SIFATNYA MELALUI TWO-TIER MULTIPLE CHOICE (TTMC) KELAS V SD

    Latar belakang yang mendorong penelitian ini adalah masih sering ditemukannya miskonsepsi pada siswa sekolah dasar dalam memahami materi IPAS, khususnya cahaya dan sifat-sifatnya. Miskonsepsi tidak hanya disebabkan oleh kurangnya pemahaman konsep sejak awal, tetapi juga oleh faktor internal seperti kurang percaya diri, malu untuk bertanya, serta rendahnya motivasi belajar. Akibatnya, siswa membentuk pemahaman sendiri yang tidak sesuai dengan konsep ilmiah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis miskonsepsi siswa kelas V SD Negeri Babad 02 terhadap materi cahaya dan sifat-sifatnya menggunakan instrumen Two Tier Multiple Choice (TTMC). Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan subjek 12 siswa kelas V dan guru kelas V. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi observasi, wawancara, tes bentuk TTMC, serta dokumentasi. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa 29,66% siswa mengalami miskonsepsi, 26,00% tidak memahami konsep, 17,66% mengalami salah konsep, dan 26,66% memahami konsep dengan baik. Miskonsepsi ditemukan hampir di seluruh submateri, seperti pembiasan cahaya, cahaya merambat lurus, pemantulan cahaya, penggunaan cermin, cahaya menembus benda bening, dan penguraian cahaya. Temuan ini diperkuat oleh hasil wawancara dan observasi yang menunjukkan bahwa siswa sering menjawab berdasarkan tebakan atau mengikuti teman, serta tidak percaya diri untuk bertanya. Faktor lain seperti keterbatasan media pembelajaran dan dominasi metode ceramah juga turut memengaruhi rendahnya pemahaman konsep

    TEACHERS’ STRATEGIES IN TEACHING READING COMPREHENSION FOR SLOW LEARNERS IN INCLUSIVE PUBLIC SECONDARY SCHOOLS

    This study examines the strategies and challenges faced by teachers in teaching reading comprehension to slow learners in inclusive classrooms at a public secondary school in Semarang, Central Java. Utilizing a qualitative research design, data were collected through classroom observations using a checklist, as well as semi-structured interviews with two English teachers who teach inclusive classes in grades 7 and 8. Slow learners participated passively during the classroom observations. The data were analyzed thematically to identify patterns related to instructional strategies and challenges. The findings indicate that teachers implement various strategies to enhance reading comprehension for slow learners, including differentiated instruction through individualized lesson planning, the use of visual and audio media, vocabulary-focused instruction through drilling, scaffolding through step-by-step reading activities, and peer teaching. However, teachers also encountered several challenges, such as a lack of specific guidelines for inclusive education, limited time and class management issues, and students’ limited concentration and motivation. These findings contribute to the existing research on inclusive English language teaching and offer practical strategies for improving reading comprehension for slow learners in inclusive classrooms

    This research aims to analyze the management of reading literacy program development in efforts to improve students' reading interest and ability at SDK Mater Carmeli. This research uses a descriptive qualitative method with research subjects consisting of students, teachers, and the principal of SDK Mater Carmeli. Data were collected through interviews, document studies, and observations, and analyzed using interactive model Miles and triangulation techniques.The research results show that the management of reading literacy program development at SDK Mater Carmeli includes the stages of planning, implementation, and program evaluation. In the planning stage, the school identifies student needs and develops appropriate literacy program strategies. Program implementation is carried out through various activities such as reading corners, literacy activities before learning begins, and integration into learning. Program evaluation is conducted periodically to measure the effectiveness and impact of the program on improving students' reading interest and ability.Research findings indicate that the developed reading literacy program successfully increased students' reading interest, and students' reading abilities showed improvement in several aspects such as better ability to understand reading content, increased interest and motivation to read, and critical thinking skills in analyzing texts. Factors supporting the program's success include the principal's commitment, active teacher involvement, adequate infrastructure availability, and parental support.This research recommends the importance of implementing systematic management in developing reading literacy programs, enhancing collaboration between schools and parents, and developing innovations in literacy learning methods to create a conducive learning environment for improving students' reading abilities

    Cultural Contestation and Power in the Novel Kubah By Ahmad Tohari

    This study is based on culture ideally should be a noble guideline that unites and elevates human dignity, but in practice it becomes a source of conflict between people .Culture is not a static entity, but rather an arena in which society assigns value and meaning. The purpose of this study is to reveal the contestation of culture and power in the novel Kubah. The theory used is Raymond Williams' Cultural Materialism, which focuses on the analytical framework of dominant, residual, and emergent cultures. This study uses a qualitative method with a textual analysis approach to the novel Kubah. theory. The main objective is to classify and analyze how these three cultures interact, clash, and shape the social landscape as embodied by the characters and main figures in the novel. The steps involved briefly consisted of reading the novel in depth, then classifying words, phrases, sentences, and quoted discourse related to cultural contestation. The data was then analyzed by interpreting the meaning of how the characters and narratives in the novel reflect and maintain their respective identities amid cultural tensions in society. The results of the study show that Karman, as the main character, was alienated by the dominant culture that destroyed communal relations in his village as a result of the events of 1965. However, he found acceptance again through residual culture, namely Javanese traditions and religious values. Karman created new meaning for himself, opening up a space for existence outside the pressures of dominant and residual culture
