    PENGEMBANGAN MEDIA BACA HUVOKO DALAM PEMBELAJARAN MENGENAL HURUF SISWA KELAS 1 SEKOLAH DASAR

    Pada penelitian ini memuat permasalahan yang sering terjadi di sekolah dasar khususnya pada kelas 1 yaitu pada kemampuan membaca permulaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran Media Baca Huvoko pada kemampuan mengenal huruf dan kemampuan membaca permulaan siswa kelas 1 Sekolah Dasar sehingga dapat mengetahui dan menganalisis kelayakan serta kevalidan Media Baca Huvoko dan dapat diterima dengan baik oleh guru dan siswa kelas 1 pada pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia. Metode pada penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian pengembangan ADDIE dengan menggunakan 5 langkah yaitu mulai dari tahap Analisis (Analyze), Desain (Design), Pengembangan (Development), Pelaksanaan (Implementation), dan Evaluasi (Evaluation). Hasil validasi kedua ahli materi mendapatkan persentase sebesar 98% yang artinya sangat layak dan sangat efektif digunakan dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia khususnya pada kemampuan mengenal huruf dan kemampuan membaca permulaan siswa. Hasil validasi kedua ahli media mendapatkan persentase sebesar 98% yang artinya sangat layak untuk digunakan. Hal ini karena Media Baca Huvoko memiliki daya Tarik untuk siswa dengan tampilan yang menarik dan terdapat gambar yang membuat siswa semakin bersemangat sehingga menjadikan siswa lebih berantusias selama proses pembelajaran.     KETIMPANGAN KOMPOSISI GENDER DALAM PARTISIPASI AKADEMIK SISWA KELAS V SD

    Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan perbedaan partisipasi akademik antara siswa laki-laki dan siswa perempuan di kelas V SD Muhammadiyah Limpung yang memiliki komposisi gender tidak seimbang, serta menganalisis persepsi guru dan strategi pedagogis yang digunakan untuk menciptakan pemerataan keterlibatan siswa. Melalui pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, data dikumpulkan melalui observasi berulang, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi nilai semester yang memberikan gambaran objektif mengenai capaian akademik siswa. Hasil penelitian memperlihatkan bahwa siswa perempuan menunjukkan dominasi verbal dan inisiatif yang lebih tinggi dalam diskusi, presentasi, dan kerja kelompok, sementara siswa laki-laki lebih pasif meskipun memiliki kemampuan akademik yang setara. Ketimpangan ini dipengaruhi oleh tekanan psikososial sebagai kelompok minoritas, rasa kurang percaya diri, dan norma kelas yang terbentuk berdasarkan gaya interaksi mayoritas perempuan. Guru memandang kondisi tersebut sebagai tantangan yang perlu ditangani, sehingga menerapkan strategi responsif gender seperti pengelompokan heterogen, pembagian peran bergilir, penguatan positif, aturan pemerataan kesempatan berbicara, serta aktivitas pra-diskusi untuk mendukung kesiapan siswa laki-laki. Berbagai intervensi tersebut terbukti mampu meningkatkan keberanian dan partisipasi verbal siswa laki-laki, sekaligus menciptakan proses pembelajaran yang lebih inklusif dan seimbang. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa ketimpangan partisipasi bukanlah akibat perbedaan kemampuan, melainkan fenomena sosial-pedagogis yang dapat diatasi melalui desain pembelajaran yang sensitif gender dan konsisten

    Exploring Secondary School English Teachers’ Knowledge of the Genre-Based Approach: Insight into Concept and Implementation

    The Genre-Based Approach (GBA) has been widely implemented in national curricula to support students’ writing development through the scaffolded stages of the Teaching and Learning Cycle. Despite its prominence, limited research has explored teachers’ understanding of GBA from both conceptual and practical perspectives. This descriptive qualitative study aims to investigate how four Indonesian secondary school English teachers understand the principles and implementation of GBA in teaching writing. The participants were purposefully selected from junior and senior high schools and represented varied levels of teaching experience as well as different degrees of exposure to formal GBA training. This variation allowed for a comparative understanding of how training and experience shape teachers’ interpretations and classroom use of GBA. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews that explored teachers’ conceptual knowledge of GBA, their understanding of the Teaching and Learning Cycle, instructional strategies across its stages, and assessment practices in genre-based writing instruction. The findings reveal that teachers who had received formal GBA training demonstrated stronger theoretical understanding of how to implement the Teaching and Learning Cycle systematically. In contrast, teachers without formal training tended to rely more on experience-based practices, often focusing on surface features of texts. Although all participants recognized the benefits of GBA for students’ writing development, they also reported common challenges, including limited instructional time, diverse student proficiency levels, and restricted teaching resources. These findings highlight the importance of ongoing professional development and sustained institutional support to enable teachers to implement GBA more effectively in secondary school classrooms

    ABSTRACTPeace does not come with our deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA). To get peace, we need to teach peace. Since the end of the Second World War in 1945, rigorous approaches to the study of peace emerged across the globe. Hence, institutions of higher learning around the globe began to develop keen interest in the question of peace. It is in this regard that peace is being researched and taught as peace and Conflict Resolution in a growing number of tertiary institutions and locations. Despite the countless scholarly articles on peace in Nigeria's tertiary institutions of learning for several decades, the question that keeps lingering among scholars is the perceived disconnect between the theories of Peace and Conflict Resolution as taught in the tertiary institutions and the security challenges Nigeria is facing. It is evident that Nigeria still remains one of the conflict ridden areas around the globe. As such, this article examines the relevance of peace education. In examining this, the article focuses on the what peace is all about, strategies of achieving peace, peace education, the scope of peace education, Objectives of peace education, the difference between peace education and education for peace, importance of peace education, ethical policies and practices in school environment for peace education.     AbstrakBahasa jawa memiliki peran penting dalam mempertahankan identitas budaya lokal, terutama di era digital saat ini. Penelitian ini dilakuan dengan tujuan untuk mengeksplorasi peran bahasa Jawa dalam media massa dan bagaimana hal ini dapat memperkuat identitas lokal. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah analisis konten terhadap media massa berbahasa Jawa, baik dalam bentuk media cetak maupun media digital. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media massa berbahasa Jawa memiliki dampak signifikan dalam menjaga dan melestarikan budaya Jawa di tengah arus globalisasi. Melalui analisis teks jurnalistik berbahasa Jawa, artikel ini menyoroti strategi-strategi komunikasi yang digunakan untuk mencapai audiens yang lebih luas sambil mempertahankan kekhasan budaya lokal. Diskusi ini juga mempertimbangkan tantangan dan peluang yang dihadapi dalam menjaga relevansi bahasa Jawa dalam konteks media modern. Abstract Javanese has an important role in maintaining local cultural identity, especially in the current digital era. This research was carried out with the aim of exploring the role of the Javanese language in mass media and how this can strengthen local identity. The research method used is content analysis of Javanese language mass media, both in print and digital media. The research results show that Javanese language mass media has a significant impact in maintaining and preserving Javanese culture amidst globalization. Through analysis of Javanese journalistic texts, this article highlights the communication strategies used to reach a wider audience while maintaining local cultural characteristics. This discussion also considers the challenges and opportunities faced in maintaining the relevance of the Javanese language in the context of modern media

    This study used descriptive qualitative method. Descriptive is describing and describing the function of myth, while qualitative is a method that uses words, phrases, clauses, and sentences as data. The purpose of this study was to determine the function of the myths that exist in Karangjati Village, Tarub District, Tegal Regency. Myths are anonymous stories or unknown creators who come from primitive cultures. These stories are sacred and cannot be understood scientifically. This myth is one of the oral culture that still exists in society and is part of oral folklore. Oral folklore is passed down from generation to generation orally or by word of mouth. Data collection techniques used in this research are observation, interview, record and note. Observation technique is the observation of the situation and research location. Then, the interview is asking or talking directly to existing sources about the myths at the research site and then recorded using a tape recorder and then taking notes according to the results of interviews and recordings. The results obtained from this study are that there are several myths that exist in Karangjati Village, Tarub District, Tegal Regency, including myths about pregnancy, myths about small children and myths about marriage or matchmaking. The functions of these myths include; (1) as a means of education; (2) as a means of entertainment; (3) as a means of culture; and (4) as a means of reminder

    Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengembangkan bahan ajar IPAS berbasis Canva pada materi ekosistem, serta mengetahui kelayakan dan ekeftivitasnya dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa kelas V SDN Kalicari 02 Semarang. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian Research and Development (RD) dengan model ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa proses pembelajaran siswa menunjukkan adanya peningkatan atau perubahan terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis mereka.. Kemudian hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa bahan ajar yang dikembangkan dinyatakan sangat layak oleh ahli materi (90,5%), dan ahli media (92%), oleh guru kelas (86%), serta siswa (92,59%). Uji coba kepada siswa juga menunjukkan efektivitas bahan ajar dalam meningkatkan pemahaman dan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa. Siswa memberikan respons positif terhadap media pembelajaran yang interaktif dan mudah dipahami. Hasil dari uji n-gain mendapatkan hasil 0,77 dan uji t mendapatkan hasil sig.(2-tailed) sebesar 0,000

    Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan aktifitas fisik anak dan mengalihkan dari ketergantungan gawai. Pengabdian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh menurunnya minat anak-anak di Desa Warulor Kecamatan Wiradesa Kabupaten Pekalongan terhadap aktivitas fisik dan cabang olahraga futsal, seiring dengan meningkatnya kecenderungan bermain gawai. Metode pengabdian yang digunakan adalah Service Learning (SL). Target dari kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah 29 anak-anak dengan rentang usia 10-15 tahun tahun. Langkah kegiatan mulai dari observasi, penentuan solusi, penerapan yang terdiri tiga tahapan, hasil dan juga evaluasi atau monitoring. Hasil perolehan minat anak terhadap olahraga futsal pada kategori sangat tinggi berjumlah 14 anak (48,1%), kategori tinggi sebanyak 9 anak (41,6%), dan kategori cukup tinggi sebanyak 6 anak (10,3%). Kesimpulan dari pengabdian ini membantu menurunkan ketergantungan anak pada penggunaan gadget. Dalam jangka panjang, program ini meningkatkan pemahaman orang tua terkait risiko cedera olahraga serta pentingnya aktivitas fisik untuk mengurangi penggunaan gadget pada anak

    The research entitled Word Values in the Emprit Abutut Bedhug Novel by Suparto Brata formulates three research problems, namely forms, functions and word values in the Emprit Abutut Bedhug novel by Suparto Brata. The word forms in Emprit Abuntut Bedhug's novel by Suparto Brata are in the form of adjectives, phrases, and clauses, dominated by word forms in the form of phrases. Emprit Abutut Bedhug's novel by Suparto Brata is a neat novel using a variety of Javanese languages both in ngoko and krama. While the value of the word discussed there are six, among others: the value of the word inappropriate, the value of the word that has a high value, the value of the word that has a bad value, the value of the word that has a rough value, the value of the word that has a funny value, and the value of the word that has a level value or high degree.
