    This study aims to describe and explain about analyzing social functions and goals in the Origin Blora text, analyzing the stages of the descriptive text in the Blora Origin text, analyzing the linguistic characteristics of the descriptive text in the Blora Origin text. This research uses a single case study strategy which is carried out on one characteristic and one target (subject), namely the folklore of Blora Regency. The analysis technique used is interactive model of analysis. The folklore of Blora Regency is classified as legend, namely in individual legends and legends of the origin of a place. The results of the research on the Central Java Compulsory Local Content Package Book of Javanese Language Piwulangan Class VIII are considered suitable to be used as learning resources for class VIII students. It contains the social function or purpose of the test, stages containing the structure of the text and the linguistic features of the descriptive text which include the use of conjunctions, verbs, adverbs of time, and point of view

    Daya Terima Coffee Jam dengan Subtitusi Jahe (Zingiber officinale)

    Coffee jam is a form of product diversification using coffee as its base ingredient. This research contains about making coffee jam with the addition of ginger extract. The addition of ginger as an additional ingredient for making coffee jam is a form of product fortification. The process of making coffee jam starts from preparing tools and materials, weighing, mixing additional ginger ingredients, cooking, cooling and packaging. This research was carried out at the Agricultural Technology Laboratory, Faculty of Agriculture, Cokroaminoto University, Makassar in March-April 2024. The treatments in this research were the addition of ginger and without the addition of ginger, 0 g, 25 g, 45 g, and 75 g. This research was conducted using a descriptive method by analyzing the public's response to the aroma, taste, spreadability and color of coffee jam. Based on the analysis of organoleptic tests or people's acceptance of coffee jam, in this case the aroma, taste, spreadability and color that the panelists liked most was the addition of 45 g of ginger. The treatment with 45 grams of ginger produced the aroma, taste, spreadability and color values that were most liked by the panelists

    Perkembangan era Revolusi Industri 4.0 menuntut dunia pendidikan untuk menyiapkan generasi yang memiliki keterampilan abad ke-21, khususnya kemampuan berpikir kritis sebagai elemen penting agar siswa lebih tanggap dalam mengambil keputusan. Namun, hasil PISA 2022 menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa Indonesia masih rendah, sehingga diperlukan model pembelajaran yang mampu mengembangkannya. Salah satu upaya yang dapat dilakukan adalah penerapan model pembelajaran Prediction, Observation, Explanation, Elaboration, Write, Evaluation (POE2WE) yang berlandaskan konstruktivisme. Model ini menekankan keterlibatan aktif siswa dalam memprediksi, mengamati, menjelaskan, mengelaborasi, menulis, dan mengevaluasi konsep yang dipelajari. Studi literatur ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan pengaruh model POE2WE berbantuan media eksploratif terhadap peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa dalam pembelajaran matematika. Data diperoleh dari berbagai penelitian relevan, baik nasional maupun internasional. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa integrasi POE2WE dengan media eksploratif seperti GeoGebra, virtual lab, e-learning, dan tes digital berbasis kecerdasan buatan dapat secara signifikan meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa. Media eksploratif membantu siswa memvisualisasikan konsep abstrak secara dinamis, sementara tahap menulis dan evaluasi mendorong refleksi serta penilaian terhadap strategi pemecahan masalah. Dengan demikian, penerapan model POE2WE berbantuan media eksploratif efektif dalam mengembangkan kemampuan berpikir kritis dan menjawab tantangan pembelajaran abad ke-21

    Kemampuan Pemodelan Matematika Siswa SMP Kelas VII Berbantuan E-LKPD Materi Operasi Bilangan Bulat

    This study aims to describe students' mathematical modeling abilities in learning integer operations assisted by E-LKPD, namely with Liveworksheets learning media. This study uses a qualitative descriptive research type with research subjects, namely 25 students of class VII.1 SMP Negeri 3 Tanjung Raja. Data were collected through tests and interviews. Data analysis is based on the results of each student's written test and interviews with students according to the predetermined category of mathematical modeling abilities. Students' mathematical modeling abilities are seen based on indicators of mathematical modeling abilities. The results of the study show that students' mathematical modeling abilities in learning assisted by Liveworksheets are categorized as very good with a percentage of 52%, categorized as good with a percentage as 24%, categorizes as sufficient with a percentage of 18%, and categorized as less with a percentage of 6%. In working on the test questions given by the researcher, most students can meet the indicators of mathematical modeling abilities well and are able to solve problems with correct answer conclusions. However, in the process of solving the problems, students still encountered obstacles such as errors in identifying the problem, creating an inappropriate mathematical model, not identifying variables correctly, and confusion and errors in the mathematical solution process. Although they made errors in some parts of the problem solving, overall, students were able to solve the problems given well

    Analisis Komparatif Model SARIMA, ETS, dan NNETAR dalam Memperkirakan Angka Kematian Global Akibat Malaria

    Malaria masih menjadi tantangan kesehatan global yang signifikan, dengan pola kematian yang menunjukkan dinamika temporal yang beragam antarwilayah. Oleh karena itu, pemodelan runtun waktu yang akurat diperlukan untuk mendukung perencanaan intervensi berbasis bukti. Penelitian ini bertujuan membandingkan kinerja model Seasonal Autoregressive Integrated Moving Average (SARIMA), Error–Trend–Seasonality (ETS), dan Neural Network Autoregressive (NNETAR) dalam meramalkan kematian malaria secara global dan regional. Data kematian malaria bulanan periode 2000–2024 dianalisis menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif komparatif runtun waktu. Tahapan analisis meliputi pra-pemrosesan data, uji stasioneritas, identifikasi dan estimasi model, serta evaluasi kinerja menggunakan Root Mean Square Error (RMSE) dan Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE) pada data validasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat satu model yang unggul secara universal. Model NNETAR memberikan akurasi terbaik pada wilayah dengan volatilitas tinggi dan pola non-linear, khususnya Afrika dan Asia Tenggara. Model SARIMA lebih optimal pada wilayah dengan pola musiman yang kuat seperti Pasifik Barat, sedangkan ARIMA cukup representatif untuk wilayah dengan tren yang relatif stabil. Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya pemilihan model berbasis karakteristik data regional serta membuka peluang pengembangan pendekatan pemodelan hibrida untuk meningkatkan akurasi peramalan kematian malaria

    Sosialisasi dan Pelatihan Membuat Program Latihan Sepakbola berbasis Wiel Coerver Methods bagi Pelatih Sekolah Sepakbola

    Permasalahan utama mitra yaitu, mayoritas pelatih sekolah sepakbola di Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta belum memahami secara komprehensif mengenai konsep dan penerapan metode latihan yang baik untuk anak usia 10-12 tahun. Berdasarkan permasalahan ini, kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan pelatih sepakbola usia 10–12 tahun di Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta dalam menyusun dan menerapkan program laihan melalui sosialisasi dan edukasi metode latihan sepakbola berbasis Wiel Coerver Methods. Metode yang digunakan yaitu Participatory Action Research meliputi tahap persiapan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. Kegiatan dilakukan melalui ceramah interaktif, diskusi, demonstrasi, praktik penyusunan program latihan, serta evaluasi pretest–posttest. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pada aspek pengetahuan dan keterampilan pelatih, dengan rata-rata nilai pretest–posttest pengetahuan meningkat dari 43 menjadi 74, dan keterampilan meningkat dari 47 menjadi 71. Tingkat kepuasan peserta terhadap kegiatan tergolong tinggi, dengan mayoritas peserta menyatakan “puas” hingga “sangat puas”. Hasil tersebut menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat efektif untuk meningkatkan kompetensi pelatih sepakbola usia dini dan menjadi strategi inovatif dalam pembinaan teknik dasar yang menyenangkan dan berkelanjutan. Implikasi kegiatan ini adalah meningkatnya kapasitas pelatih dalam merancang, mengimplementasikan, dan mengevaluasi program latihan usia dini secara sistematis sehingga kualitas pembinaan sepakbola dapat terstandarisas

    Framing Analysis of the News of King Charles after the Death of Queen Elizabeth in French Media Le Figaro

    This study investigates how Le Figaro, a prominent French media outlet, framed King Charles III in the aftermath of Queen Elizabeth II's death. While numerous studies have examined the British monarchy's representation in Anglophone media, there is a scarcity of research exploring how republican media in non-English speaking contexts construct royal narratives during pivotal power transitions. Adopting a qualitative approach based on the framing analysis model by Zhongdang Pan and Gerald M. Kosicki, this research analyzes two key articles published on September 12 and 19, 2022. The analysis applies four structural dimensions: syntactic, script, thematic, and rhetorical. The results show that Le Figaro employed a hierarchical syntactic structure to emphasize King Charles III's evolution from a figure previously regarded with lesser favor to a potential leader capable of steering the monarchy forward. The script structure selectively prioritized emotional resonance and societal implications, using 5W+1H elements while downplaying geographical specifics. The thematic analysis uncovered a narrative of transformation, blending past critiques of Charles with a growing public acceptance, while the rhetorical strategies served to humanize him through evocative language and metaphors. Theoretically, this study contributes to cross-cultural media studies by demonstrating how a conservative republican media outlet negotiates the tension between institutional tradition and modern expectations.     FOSTERING INTRINSIC MOTIVATION IN EFL LEARNERS THROUGH DUOLINGO’S GAMIFICATION: A QUALITATIVE STUDY

    Motivation plays a crucial role in English as a Foreign Language (EFL) learning, particularly in contexts with limited exposure to English outside the classroom. Although gamified language learning applications such as Duolingo are widely used, previous studies have largely emphasized extrinsic motivation and quantitative approaches. This study aimed to explore how Duolingo’s gamification fosters intrinsic motivation in EFL learners through the lens of Self-Determination Theory, focusing on autonomy, competence, and relatedness. A descriptive qualitative design was employed involving ten seventh-semester EFL university students from Universitas Negeri Semarang who were active Duolingo users. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews and an SDT-based questionnaire and analyzed using thematic analysis. The findings indicate that Duolingo’s gamification supports intrinsic motivation by creating an enjoyable, flexible, and engaging learning environment. Most participants reported using Duolingo primarily for personal enjoyment rather than external rewards, suggesting a shift toward intrinsic motivation. Autonomy and competence emerged as the most influential factors, while relatedness showed varied effects among learners. Overall, this study provides qualitative evidence that supporting learners’ psychological needs through gamification can enhance intrinsic motivation in EFL learning contexts.Keyword: Duolingo; EFL learners; intrinsic motivation; Self-Determination Theor

    Penelitian ini telah berhasil mengkaji efektivitas model pembelajaran Realistic Mathematic Education (RME) Approach berbantu media ular tangga pada aspek pemahaman operasi hitung siswa kelas III SDN 1 Selokaton. Tujuan utama penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui seberapa efektif model pendekatan pembelajaran matematika Realistic Mathematic Education (RME) Approach dalam meningkatkan pemahaman siswa tentang operasi hitung. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain pre-experimental menggunakan rancangan satu kelompok pretest- posttest. Jumlah sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini melibatkan 25 siswa kelas III dari SDN 1 Selokaton, Kendal. Teknik pengambilan sampel yaitu Sampling non-probability dengan metode sampling jenuh. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa nilai pretest siswa rata-rata 60,4 dan nilai posttest rata-rata 80,6. Penelitian ini diperkuat oleh Hasil uji t, yang menghasilkan nilai thitung sebesar 11,494. Hipotesis nol (Ho) ditolak dan hipotesis alternatif (Ha) diterima, karena nilai ttabel yang diperoleh, dengan taraf signifikansi 5%, adalah 1,711. Ini menunjukkan bahwa nilai pretest dan posttest sangat berbeda. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan pembelajaran matematika Realistic Mathematic Education (RME) Approach berbantu media ular tangga efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman siswa kelas III di SDN 1 Selokaton, Kendal tentang konsep operasi hitung

    This study was motivated by the finding that some students do not understand the value of global diversity and the suboptimal application of cultural literacy in schools. Thus, it is necessary to develop global diversity values through cultural literacy. The purpose of this study was to determine the development of global diversity values through the application of cultural literacy at SMP Negeri 14 Semarang. This study used a descriptive qualitative research method with data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews, and documentation. The subjects of the study included the curriculum vice principal, PPKn teachers, the P5 facilitator team, and six students. The results of this study indicate that the development of global diversity values is carried out through several strategies, including the integration of diversity values into learning, Pancasila Student Profile (P5) project activities, and habituation programs such as cultural and art literacy. This study concludes that the application of cultural literacy can be a strategic means of fostering global diversity values in schools. This has a positive impact on students' understanding, attitudes, and social skills in appreciating diversity and strengthening national identity
