Guidance and Counseling Advocacy Service for Handling Sexual Violence at IAIN Pontianak
No full textThe phenomenon of sexual violence in higher education necessitates the provision of advocacy, guidance, and counseling services. The development of a manual for these services can assist micro-groups (students, faculty members, and educational staff) in gaining a deeper understanding of sexual education, advocacy services, and mechanisms for addressing sexual violence within the higher education environment. Research and development methods have been carried out through to the implementation and evaluation stages of the manual. The research findings indicate that the sexual violence advocacy, counseling, and guidance manual has achieved 93% alignment with the research objectives and the needs of the micro-groups. Evaluation results from its use among students confirm an 80% increase in students' knowledge. Therefore, the manual developed from this research can be implemented and further developed across academic programs at the university level
Trend of career counseling: bibliometric analysis and literature review
No full textIn Indonesia, tight labor competition and high unemployment rates among graduates are reasons for the need for effective and thorough career preparation. This research uses bibliometric analysis to provide graphic information about the statistical overview of literature from 380 articles published in reputable international journals that correlate with career counseling from 2009 to 2023. An in-depth study was carried out on 371 articles to reveal this research. Types of documents from the Scopus database for career counseling for students are articles, books, reference books, and conference papers. Visualization with R software bibliometrics with three visuals: annual scientific production, most cited articles, country scientific production, and word cloud and co-occurrence network. The analysis findings show that career counseling is the dominant topic. Research topics for 2009-2023 are humans, women, men, and adults. Less researched topics are decision-making, counseling, students, and young adults. This study can provide a global roadmap for researchers regarding career counseling
Juridical Analysis of Judges' Decisions in Settling Grant Disputes from a Maslahah Perspective

With several facts and cases regarding the withdrawal of grant assets for various reasons. As the case of grant disputes in the Kudus Religious Court with case number 314/Pdt.G/2020/PA.Kds. Jo. Number 372/Pdt.G/2020/PTA.Smg. Jo. 658 K/Ag/2021. The purpose of this article is to know and analyse the judge's decision in resolving grant disputes from a maslahah perspective, seen from the type of research using library research or literature study, the primary data source is the decision of the Kudus Religious Court with case number 314/Pdt.G/2020/PA.Kds. Jo. Number 372/Pdt.G/2020/PTA.Smg. Jo. 658 K/Ag/2021, while secondary legal sources are maslahah perspectives both from book sources, journal articles and so on, then data analysis using qualitative analysis techniques. The results of the study explain that the decisions of the courts of first instance and appeal are cancelled because this case is a case that should be the authority of the religious courts. As the decision of the panel of judges of the Kudus Religious Court Number 314/Pdt.G/2020/Pa.Kds, and the Semarang Religious High Court in its decision Number 372/Pdt.G/2020/PTA.Smg did not apply justice and expediency and even legal certainty. Article 49 of the Religious Courts Law is the basis for legal certainty in this case so that the party who filed the lawsuit did not get justice that the object of the case was the only property that had been owned and also in the two decisions did not achieve happiness for many parties, this is in line with the Supreme Court's decision Number 658 K/Ag/2021. Therefore, the decision of the Indonesian Supreme Court in examining and deciding the case is in accordance with the applicable legal theory and in accordance with the principle of kemashlahatan or maslahah theory in Islamic law.Keywords: Grant; Maslahah; Tabarru' Ac
Contestation Of Moderate And Radical Islam In Cyberspace
No full textThe internet has transformed the way millennials gain religious knowledge. Previously, they relied on print media like magazines, journals, or teachings from religious leaders. Today, they turn to convergence media that offers instant, though often incomplete, content. Islamic websites have become a primary source for quick religious information. This shift highlights new spaces on the internet for social interaction and religious discourse, particularly aimed at millennials. However, these digital spaces serve as more than just communication tools; they also act as channels for spreading religious messages, including propaganda and radicalism. Given the significance of Islamic websites as communication channels, studying radicalism on these platforms is essential. This is due to three key factors: first, Islamic websites have emerged as new communication platforms; second, religious messages online have a broad reach, crossing national borders; and third, internet-based information has a strong influence on users. This research is critical in preventing radicalism on websites and social media by uncovering the motivations behind the spread of radical messages online
Analysis of Proximates, Organoleptics, and Saving Power of Fortified Wet Noodles Curcuma domestica and Alpinia purpurata K. Schum.
No full textThe storability of wet noodles is generally very low because it has a high water content. This can cause losses to the wet noodle sellers so that these problems are often overcome using chemicals as preservatives. But this in the long run can cause health problems. Therefore, the aim of this study is to increase the shelf life of wet noodles by using natural preservatives in combination with Curcuma domestica and Alpinia purpurata K. Schchum. This research is an experiment that was designed with a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 4 treatments, namely control (P0) and 3 combinations of Curcuma domestica and Alpinia purpurata K. Schchum 5%: 15% (P1); 10%: 10% (P2); and 15%: 5% (P3), each of which was repeated 4 times. Wet noodle samples were then performed Proximate Test, Organoleptic Test, and Microbiology Test (TPC and Mold/Yeast). The data obtained were then tested for ANOVA and continued with a LSD test with a value of α = 5%. The results of the wet noodle test with the addition of a combination of CCurcuma domestica and Alpinia purpurata K. Schchum showed proximate levels according to the SNI stipulations. The best organoleptic wet noodle test results are P2 treatment. In the TPC cup count results and the total mold/yeast combination of Curcuma domestica and Alpinia purpurata K. Schchum the best treatment is also found in the P2 sample which can increase the storability of wet noodles up to 48 hours which appears in the total microbial and mold / yeast does not exceed the maximum limit of the provisions SNI
Existentialist Feminism in Barbie Movie (John Fiske Semiotics Study)
No full textAbstract Existentialist feminism highlights the importance of individual freedom and personal responsibility, and emphasizes women’s struggle in the domestic sphere. The Barbie film is the subject of this research because it can depict and educate about issues of gender equality and feminism to the audience, especially young girls, with strong characters and stories, and has become a symbol that has grown with society. This research aims to understand the ideas of existentialist feminism that are represented and visualized in the Barbie film according to John Fiske's semiotic analysis. The analysis found that this film shows the values of existentialist feminism primarily through aspects of costume, narrative, appearance, conflict, behavior, and music in certain scenes. The most frequently appearing value is supporting women's freedom in constructing themselves.Keywords: Feminism Film Barbie , Women. AbstrakFeminisme eksistensialis menyoroti pentingnya kebebasan individu dan tanggung jawab pribadi, serta menekankan perjuangan perempuan dalam ranah domestik. Film Barbie menjadi objek penelitian ini karena mampu menggambarkan dan mengedukasi tentang isu-isu kesetaraan gender dan feminisme kepada penonton, terutama anak-anak perempuan, dengan karakter dan cerita yang kuat serta menjadi simbol yang telah tumbuh bersama masyarakat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui ide feminisme eksistensialis yang di representasikan dan divisualisasikan dalam film Barbie menurut analisis semiotika John Fiske. Hasil analisis menemukan bahwa film ini menunjukkan nilai feminisme eksistensialis terutama melalui aspek kostum, narasi, penampilan, konflik, perilaku, dan musik dalam adegan-adegan tertentu. Nilai yang paling sering muncul adalah mendukung kebebasan perempuan dalam mengkonstruksi dirinya sendiri.Keywords: Feminisme, Film Barbie, Perempuan
Komunikasi Dakwah Berbasis Digital dalam Mempertahankan Tradisi Randai di Kota Bukittinggi
No full textThis study aims to analyze the role of digital-based da'wah communication in preserving the Randai tradition in Bukittinggi City, West Sumatra, using a qualitative approach with literature analysis. Data were collected from various academic articles, books, and digital content discussing Randai and its integration with Islamic values through digital platforms. The analysis was conducted thematically to identify communication strategies, challenges, and the role of digital platforms in promoting cultural sustainability. The findings reveal that digital da'wah has been instrumental in reintroducing and preserving the Randai tradition, especially among the younger generation. Platforms such as YouTube and Instagram are often used to share Randai-related content, combining cultural narratives with Islamic teachings. Key strategies include the use of engaging visual content, and interactive discussions that highlight the philosophical and moral values embedded in Randai. However, the research also identified challenges such as limited internet access in rural areas, cultural resistance to modernization, and a lack of digital literacy among Randai practitioners, which hinder the wider adoption of digital proselytization for cultural preservation. The study concludes that digital proselytization provides a viable pathway to bridge the generation gap and encourage cultural preservation in the modern era. Effective collaboration between the cultural community and local government is essential to enhance the sustainability of the Randai tradition through innovative digital strategies
Digital Communication Strategies in Tourism: The Impact of Reviewer and Influencer Content on Visit Decisions
No full textThis study aims to explore the influence of review content on social media as an advertising medium on the decision of tourists to visit Tegal Mas Resort. This study focuses on the relationship between product and service quality and tourist satisfaction at Tegal Mas Lampung Resort Island. This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method to collect data from social media reviews and tourist responses. Statistical analysis was used to test the relationship between Product Quality, Service Quality, and Tourist Satisfaction variables and their impact on visit decisions. The study’s findings show that Product Quality significantly influences tourist visit decisions, with a significance value of 0.000. These results show that positive reviews regarding product quality on social media contribute considerably to tourists' decisions to visit Tegal Mas Lampung Resort Island. The content of reviews on social media about Tegal Mas Lampung Resort Island significantly affects tourists’ decisions to visit. Therefore, using positive reviews on social media can be an effective strategy to attract visitors and increase tourist satisfaction
Estimating dredging volume at sunda pondok dayung dock using s-convex function-based curve fitting to ensure indonesian navy ship safety
No full textThis study investigated the application of s-convex function-based curve fitting for estimating the dredging volume at Sunda Pondok Dayung Dock to ensure the safety of Indonesian Navy vessels. The research aimed to develop an alternative method to conventional numerical integration techniques by employing s-convex curve fitting using both two-point and three-point approaches and by comparing its performance with the trapezoidal rule, Simpson’s 1/3 rule, and Simpson’s 3/8 rule. Data from Pushidrosal’s 2023 survey were utilized, and explicit analytical forms for definite integral estimation were derived by approximating the function with s-convex methods. The results demonstrated that although the trapezoidal method produced the smallest relative error, the s-convex approach yielded a comparable error margin, differing by only 0.038%, which indicated its viability as an alternative method for dredging volume estimation. Future research was suggested to extend s-convex curve fitting to more than three points to further improve accuracy
The influence of self-management on the mathematics learning outcomes of students
No full textThe purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of self-management on students' mathematics learning outcomes. This research is classified as a quantitative ex post facto type. The instrument used is a self-management questionnaire consisting of 20 statements, as well as odd semester report card data as an indicator to measure students' mathematics learning outcomes. The results of simple linear regression indicate that there is an influence of self-management on the mathematics learning outcomes of eighth-grade students at SMP Negeri 2 Rantau Utara
