    E-module for geometric transformation visualization: A case study on generation Z mathematics education

    Teaching transformation geometry in schools requires visualization tools to enhance students' conceptual understanding. Therefore, mathematics education students need to be equipped with adequate visualization skills. This study aimed to develop an interactive e-module based on YouTube video tutorials and simple projects to help students, particularly Generation Z, visualize transformation geometry concepts. The development model employed was the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). The findings indicated that the developed interactive e-module was valid (88.2%, excellent category), practical (75%, good category), and effective (94.3%) in supporting students in visualizing transformation geometry concepts. Integrating YouTube tutorial videos and simple projects facilitates students in learning and understanding the visualization of transformation geometry effectively and comprehensively. This study has implications for integrating technology-based interactive tools in learning, which can significantly enhance student engagement and mastery of abstract mathematical concepts

    Abstract This article aims to discuss the theological thinking of KH. Hasyim Asy'ari in the context of social nationality. The social-national theology can be traced in Jihad Resolution, Muqaddimah Qanun Asasi and theological criticism in some of his works. The method in this research is the critical analysis method, which is to examine the concept of KH. Hasyim Asy'ari's socio-national theology in these works. The urgency of this research is to review the theological thinking of KH. Hasyim Asy'ari in the social and national context so that there is a need to recontextualize Islamic thought based on tawhid and the social-national context taken from the scientific tradition of Indonesian scholars themselves. The findings of this article are: First, the social-national theology of KH. Hasyim Asy'ari in the Jihad Resolution, Muqaddimah Qanun Asasi and theological criticism in the works show the external side of anti-colonialism, and the internal side of the unity of Muslims, Second, the social-national theology of KH. Hasyim Asy'ari shows that Ahlusunnah wal Jama'ah theology in the socio-religious and political-national context can be a relevant theological concept building used to answer contemporary national problems today, especially in terms of unity in the frame of nationality and a vision of humanity based on religion. Hasyim Asy'ari; Muqaddimah Qanun Asasi; Socio-National Theology; Theological Criticism.   Abstrak Artikel ini bertujuan untuk membahas tentang pemikiran teologis dari KH. Hasyim Asy’ari dalam konteks sosial kebangsaan. Teologi sosial-kebangsaan tersebut dapat dilacak dalam Resolusi Jihad, Muqaddimah Qanun Asasi dan kritik teologis dalam beberapa karyanya. Metode dalam penelitian ini adalah metode analisis kritis, yakni untuk menelaah konsep teologi sosial-kebangsaan KH. Hasyim Asy’ari dalam karya-karya tersebut. Urgensi penelitian ini adalah meninjau kembali pemikiran teologis dari KH. Hasyim Asy’ari dalam konteks sosial dan kebangsaan sehingga perlu adanya rekontekstualisasi pemikiran Islam yang berbasiskan pada tauhid dan konteks sosial-kebangsaan yang diambil dari tradisi keilmuan ulama-ulama Indonesia itu sendiri. Hasil temuan dari artikel ini yakni: Pertama, teologi sosial-kebangsaan KH. Hasyim Asy’ari dalam Resolusi Jihad, Muqaddimah Qanun Asasi dan kritik teologis dalam karya-karya menujukkan sisi eksternal yang anti kolonialisme, dan sisi internal pada persatuan umat Islam, Kedua, teologi sosial-kebangsaan KH. Hasyim Asy’ari menunjukkan bahwa teologi Ahlusunnah wal Jama’ah dalam konteks sosial-keagamaan dan politik-kebangsaan dapat menjadi bangunan konsep teologis yang relevan digunakan untuk menjawab problem kebangsaan kontemporer saat ini khususnya dalam hal persatuan dalam bingkai kebangsaan dan visi kemanusiaan berbasis pada keagamaan.     Predictive Analysis in Islamic Accounting: Understanding Financial Trends Through Advanced Technology

    This research aims to map studies related to technology applied in Islamic accounting using the bibliometric method of VOSviewer and a literature review to examine and analyze the application of advanced technology in understanding and predicting financial trends in the Islamic accounting sector. This study employs a mixed-method research approach, utilizing quantitative methods for the bibliometric study and qualitative methods for the literature review. The results indicate that, based on data collected from 2010 to 2024, there are 601 Scopus journals related to Islamic accounting technology. The visualization results from the VOSviewer software regarding the research map related to big data, blockchain, artificial intelligence, and sharia accounting show the presence of 8 clusters with 141 topic items. This research demonstrates that the development of AI, blockchain, and big data in the Islamic accounting sector plays a significant role.     Integrating Real-World Motion: Physics Behind Racing Motorbikes at Mandalika

    This research aims to explore physics concepts involved in motorcycle racing and apply the analysis results as a fun physics learning media. This research is exploratory research with literature study and race video analysis by integrating literature study to strengthen the research. We explore vehicle dynamics, kinematics, aerodynamics, engine mechanics, thermodynamics, and other physics concepts relevant to motorcycle racing at Mandalika Circuit through a physics perspective analysis approach. This research includes an in-depth physics analysis of racing bikes and explores the implications of the results of this research for physics education. The results show that racing bikes, especially when used at Mandalika Circuit, provide authentic content to apply physics concepts in an engaging way for students. The implication of this research to physics learning is that motorcycle racing at Mandalika Circuit provides an interesting context to apply physics concepts such as dynamics, aerodynamics, and thermodynamics. By utilizing concrete examples from motorcycle racing at Mandalika Circuit, physics learning can be enhanced, arouse learners' interest, and strengthen their understanding of basic physics concepts

    Gamification in Learning Newton's Laws: Enhancing Students’ Problem-Solving Skills

    This research aims to determine students' problem-solving skills after using tournament-based online truth or dare media (New Todame). The effectiveness was measured at the implementation stage using a One-Group pretest-posttest design on 52 eleventh-grade IPA (Natural Science) students in one of the public high schools in Bandung City. The sampling technique employed was the purposive sampling technique. The testing techniques used were the normality test (Kolmogorov-Smirnov), the non-parametric Wilcoxon test, and the N-Gain test. Data collection was done by interview, preliminary study questionnaire, validation sheet, feasibility questionnaire, and pretest & posttest sheets. The results showed that the New Todame media was effective in improving students’ problem-solving skills on Newton's law material. The normality test (Kolmogorov-Smirnov) showed Sig. Value of less than 0.05, so that the Wilcoxon test was needed. The Wicoxon test results showed a significant difference in the average pretest and posttest, indicated by five aspects of problem-solving skills having an Asym.Sig value of 0.000. In addition, the increase in problem-solving skills on Newton's law material after students use New Todame media shows an N-Gain of 0.455 in the medium categor

    Mapping the National Insight of the Salafi Group in Indonesia Based on their Fatwa on Social Media

    This article provides an overview of the national insight of the Salafi group as reflected in the lectures of their figures on the YouTube platform about saluting the flag. The aim is to enrich insight into the Salafi group in Indonesia, which is often seen from only one perspective. This study uses qualitative data with a discourse analysis approach within the framework of the study of ushūl fiqh. Discourse analysis is used to examine the statements of the preachers semantically, social cognition, and social context, while ushūl fiqh analysis is used to see their legal reasoning. Data were collected using documentation techniques from videos of lectures by Salafi preachers on digital platforms that can be used as an important space to understand their national insight. This study reveals that all Salafi preachers in Indonesia are allowed to salute the flag because this theme does not fall within the realm of faith. However, they do not recommend it to be done. This attitude is different from non-Salafi preachers who advocate it because the red and white flag is part of the struggle of Islamic scholars and Muslims. Regarding legal reasoning in fiqh, these preachers try to enter the khilāfiyah fiqh (a matter of differing opinions) space and choose an opinion that allows saluting the flag. This tendency then received a positive response from the majority of netizens. This study concludes that the Salafi group in Indonesia has used an adaptation strategy approach by utilizing rhetorical skills to avoid anti-nationalism stigma

    Understanding the rights and obligations of husband and wife and carrying them out in a balanced manner is the main pillar for creating a family that is sakīnah mawaddah wa rahmah (peaceful, harmonious, and prosperous). Unfortunately, these rights and obligations are often ignored, resulting in various problems in the household. This research aims to find out the views of Sheikh Nawawi al-Bantani regarding the rights and obligations of husband and wife as written in his book 'Uqūd al-Lujain fī Bayāni Huqūq al-Zaujain. Apart from that, this research also tries to draw out the relevance of this view to changes in the attitudes of women members of the Da'arul Asy-ariyah taklim assembly towards their husbands in their daily household life. This research uses qualitative methods with a socio-empirical approach. The results of this research show that the study material of the 'Uqud al-Lujain book, which contains the rights and obligations of husbands and wives, has a positive influence on the mothers who are members of the study, which is marked by changes in the attitudes and behavior of wives towards their husbands from previously being disrespectful, disobedient and lacking respect for their husbands to being wives who are obedient, respectful and appreciative of their husbands. This positive attitude then makes household life more harmonious, serene, and peaceful so that a sakīnah mawaddah wa rahmah family atmosphere can be created

    Exploration of student learning obstacles in solving propotional problems in junior high school

    Background: Proportion is a key mathematical concept, but epistemological and didactical learning obstacles can hinder students' understanding. These challenges arise from limited contextual knowledge and procedural teaching methods. Identifying these obstacles through diagnostic assessments helps design effective learning strategies, enhancing students' proportional reasoning and problem-solving skills. Aim: This research aims to describe and analyze students' learning obstacles in Proportion material in terms of Proportional reasoning.. Method: The method used in this case is a research method qualitative focuses on obstacles to learning. Instruments used in studying learning obstacles designed based on the Proportional level of reasoning. The subject of this research comes from Al-Fahmi Palu Junior High School which consists of class VII, Data collection was carried out through written tests, interviews and observations. Result: The results of the research show revealing two main types: epistemological and didactical obstacles. Epistemological obstacles arise due to students' limited contextual knowledge, preventing them from applying known concepts to new problems, as seen in their difficulty modeling proportional relationships correctly. Didactical obstacles stem from procedural teaching methods that emphasize memorization over conceptual understanding, leading students to rely on fixed procedures rather than flexible problem-solving strategies. These findings highlight the need for varied and meaningful learning approaches to help students build a deeper understanding of Proportion concepts. Conclusion: The research found two types of student learning obstacles in solving Proportion problems: epistemological obstacles, due to limited contextual knowledge, and didactical obstacles, arising from teachers' procedural teaching methods and lack of varied practice, leading to difficulties in handling complex proportional reasoning

    The differences in the reading of I'rab Fi'il Mudhari occur in several verses of Al-Qur'an. The reading method used by Imam Hafsh ibn Ashim is different from some other readers. This research examines both the difference in the syntax of the present tense in the frequent Qur’anic readings that related to meanings, and the difference in the structure of the present tense in the frequent Qur’anic readings with an explanation of the impact of this difference in the noble verse and contribute to building the linguistic ability of the students. Because of the difference in the way of reading Fi'il mudhari that occurs with the presence of Lam ta'lil and Lam al-Amr in the Al-Qur'an which are various differences. Object of this research is several verses of the Holy Qur'an which are subjected to Lam at-ta'lil and Lam al-Amr by using qualitative methods that focus on data analysis. This can provide additional ways in improving Arabic language proficiency. The main reference sources in this research are Al-Qur'an and the Book of Nahwu Al-Bayan fi Gharibi I'rab al-Qur'an. It is not a condition for the present tense to be in the accusative case of La ta’lil. The present tense verb with Lam li at-ta’lil was read with the kasra of the lam and the accusative, and with the sukun of the lam and the jazm so that research can contribute to improving Arabic language proficiency in terms of learning

    Development of an Interactive E-book based on the ARCS Model to Improve Students' Arabic Writing Skills

    Arabic writing skill is the most difficult skill where many students are weak in this skill and the available teaching materials are less engaging. Therefore development of teaching materials based on the ARCS model was needed to help improve students’ motivation and learning outcomes included writing skills. This study is a research and development (R&D) study that aimed to develop an interactive e-book based on the ARCS model on jumlah topic to improve the students’ Arabic writing skills and analyze its feasibility based on the experts’ validation results. This study used an ADDIE model. However, in this article, the discussion only up to the development stage. The subjects are beginner Arabic language learners whom participated in I’dad Awal program of Markaz Arabiyah Course. Data was collected by observation, interview, documentation, and questionnaire techniques to develop the product and analyze its feasibility. The results of this study show that the interactive e-book based on the ARCS model is suitable for use in the learning process, as evidenced by a product validation percentage of 96.67% from subject matter experts, categorized as "highly feasible," and 88.75% from media experts, categorized as "highly feasible" too. The researchers suggest further studies be carried out at the implementation and evaluation stage of the interactive e-book so that the effectiveness of product to improve students’ Arabic writing skills is known. This study can be one of the references and alternative solutions in solving Arabic learning problems, especially in order to improve students’ Arabic writing skills
