    Armendariz Semirings and Semicommutative Semirings

In this paper we study Armendariz semiring, which has been introduced by V.Gupta and P.kumar, in the paper entitled `Armendariz and qusi-Armendariz and PS-semirings' [8]. We extend some results of Armendariz rings and semi-commutative rings of [3] for semirings with 101\neq0. (i)We obtain that for a semirings S, S is Armendariz if and only eS and (1+e)S are Armendariz for every idempotent e of S if and only if eS and (1+e)S are Armendariz for every central idempotent e of S. (ii) For a semiring S if S/I is an Armendariz semiring for some reduced ideal I of S then S is Armendariz

Estimates of Fekete-Szego Functional of a Sub- class of Analytic and Bi-Univalent Functions by Means of Chebyshev Polynomials

In this work, a new subclass C( ; ; n; t) of analytic and bi-univalent functions is dened by subordination principle and investigated. The initial coecient bounds and the upper estimates of the Fekete-Szego functional were obtained using Chebyshev polynomials

Higher education in Mozambique during covid-19

The current covid-19 pandemic that the world is experiencing is leading us to unexpected and complex context. The Covid-19 crisis has brought the disruption of higher education systems in Mozambique, affecting approximately 239 600 students and 5716 teachers by closing all institutions. The emergence of COVID-19 awakened controversy over the role of HEI. Questions have been raised about the role of HE in Mozambique to reach certain societal agendas – democratization, economic development and innovation. There is a demand for a full participation of university outside academia, both in society and in business. Thus, the study provides an overview of the higher education in Mozambique during covid-19 crisis. Methodologically, the study uses a comprehensive literature review, policy document analysis and statistical data from various official sources. While others students are coping well with online learning, others are experiencing difficulties due to lack of digital literacy and poor infrastructures. Despite effort over the last two decades, Mozambique has one of the lowest (20.9%) internet penetration rate of the population and one of the highest data cost in Africa as proportion of income. Thus, polices and effective strategies about connectivity, data cost, digital skills training and internet infra-structure must be considered to ensure inclusive education

On the Nature of Dark Matter

Dark Matter is observed envelloping the galaxies around super massive Black Holes leading to an uniform rotation over most of the galaxy cross-section. It is stipulated that Dark Matter originates from the central super massive black hole. By the fact that the speed of light is close to infinity inside the black hole a halo of virtual particles appear outside the cental black hole through the Heisenberg uncertainity principle. This leads to a correct distribution of the virtual density leading to an uniform rotation of the galaxy

Toeplitz Determinants for a Subclass of Analytic Functions

A new subclass of analytic functions that generalizes some known subclasses of analytic functions was defined and investigated. The bounds for Toeplitz determinants of T2(2), T2(3), T3(1) and T3(2) were obtained

Application of maximum principle to Stochastic Control problem

    Suppose that the state of a system at time t is described by an Itˆo process Xt of the formdXt = dXu t = b(t, Xt, ut)dt + σ(t, Xt, ut)dBt, t > s > 0, (1)where Xt ∈ R n, b : R × R n × U → R n, σ : R × Rn × U → R n×m and Bt is an m-dimensional Brownian motion. Here ut ∈ U ⊂ R k is a parameter whose value we can choose in a given Borel set U at any instant t in order to control the process Xt. Thus ut = u(t, w) is a stochastic process.Since our decision at time t must be based upon what has happened up to time t, the function w −→ u(t, w) must (at least) be measurable with respect to F (m) t, i.e. the process ut must be {F(m) t, t > 0}-adapted

Special Properties of the Zeros of the Analytic Representations of Finite Quantum Systems

The paper contains an investigation on the special properties of the zeros of the analytic Representations of Finite Quantum Systems. These zeros and its paths define the completely the finite quantum system. The present paper study Construction of the analytic representation from its zeros.A brief introduction to analytic representation of nite quantum systems is given. The zeros of this function and there evolution time are considered. The analytic function f(z) have exactly d zeros. The analytic function have been constructed from its zeros

Inference of the Stochastic SIR Household Epidemic Model with Misspecification and Misclassification.

Sometimes the final size epidemic data may be misclassified and the infectious perioddistribution also misspecified. How are the estimates affected when these two scenarios occur and hence the adequacy of the model fittness to the final size data, is the focus of this study. This is investigated using simulations in the face of global infection, by first simulating the final size epidemic data with exp(4.1) infectious period distribution and estimated with Γ(2,4.1/2) infectious period distribution, vice versa. The estimates are further explored for a range of local and global infection rates andcorresponding proportion infected, misclassification probabilities in the permissible region. The three and four dimensional models are found to be significantly better than the twodimensional model given these scenarios

Combinatorial Identities with Several Kinds of Degenerate-Daehee Sequences

In this paper, we mainly make use of the probabilistic method to calculate several different moment representations of the degenerate Daehee numbers of the third kind with degenerate log function. We also obtain the moment expressions of the degenerate Daehee numbers of higher-order and degenerate Daehee numbers of the second kind. When deriving the moment representations of degenerate Stirling numbers and the degenerate Bernoulli numbers, we arrive at the combinatorial identities of relationships of them and we prove them by the probabilistic method

Situational marketing for coronavirus pandemic protective masks: buying for yourself or others

The covid 19 pandemic is a situation that compelled the entire world to wear face masks. A mask is to be worn in order to protect oneself or others, for fear of being either fined or imprisoned. This is the social message conveyed by governments. The consumer is in such a situation that he has no choice. This article, which is to be considered in the context of situational marketing, shows that the situation relating to the purchase of protective masks imposes an important budget, not only for families living in precarity, but also for governments. In a context of nationwide and international generosity and solidarity, situations of buying for oneself or for the others actively cohabitate in this fight against the spreading of the virus
