An Original note on Fermat numbers, on numbers of the form Wn and on numbers of the form 10k + 8 + Fn [ where Wn ∈ {22 + Fn, 2 n + Fn}, n is an integer ≥ 0, Fn is a Fermat number and k is an integer ≥ 0]

A Fermat number is a number of the form Fn = 2^2^ n+ 1, where n is an integer ≥ 0. A Fermat composite (see [1] or [2] or [4] ) is a non prime Fermat number. Fermat composites and Fermat primes are characterized via divisibility in [4] and [5] (A Fermat prime (see [1] or [2] or [4] ) is a prime Fermat number). It is known (see [4]) that for every j ∈ {0, 1, 2, 3, 4}, Fj is a Fermat prime and it is also known (see [2] or [3]) that F5 and F6 are Fermat composites. In this paper, we show [via elementary arithmetic congruences] the following result (T.). For every integer n ≥ 2, Fn − 1 ≡ 1 mod[j] (where j ∈ {3, 5}). Result (T) immediately implies that for every fixed integer k ≥ 0, there exists at most two primes of the form 10k + 8 + Fn [in particular , for every fixed integer k ≥ 0, the numbers of the form 10k + 8 + Fn (where n is an integer ≥ 2) are all composites]. Result (T.) also implies that there are infinitely many composite numbers of the form 2n + Fn and there exists no prime number of form 22+Fn. Result (T.) coupled with a special case of a Theorem of Dirichlet help us to explain why it is natural to conjecture that there are infinitely many Fermat primes

Some identities involving the λ-Daehee numbers and polynomials

Recently, λ-Daehee numbers and polynomials are introduced in [1]. In this paper, we obtain some properties of λ-Daehee numbers and polynomials. In addition, using generating functions we explore some new equalities and relations involving λ-Daehee numbers and polynomials

Special Education And Training To Students With Cognitive, Emotional And Social Difficulties.

The services of special education and training (SET) are provided among other people with disabilities and to students with complex COgnitive, EMOtional  and SOcial (COEMOSO) difficulties. The purpose of this study is to highlight and understand the COEMOSO difficulties in the wide field of inherent and/or acquired situations of disability identified in the learning process and related to the rights of people with disabilities in modern school. According to Greek Law 3699/2008 on special educational needs or disability, students with COEMOSO  include those who have suffered parental abuse, neglect or are living in an environment of domestic violence and exhibiting delinquent behaviour. Our methodology builds on the bibliographical documentation from texts on legislation, the Commission on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPDs, Article 24) and the concerns raised about them and World Health Organisation (WHO) texts on Covid-19. It has also included the views of undergraduate students in the School of Humanities and Cultural Studies (SHCS) at the University of Peloponnese from 2016 to 2020. The results confirm that there is insufficient data on complex COEMOSO  difficulties in greek schools from the influence the way in which the Targeted Individual, Structured, Differentiated Teaching, Integration Intervention Program of Special Education and Training (TISDTIPSET) intervenes. Most considered that COEMOSO  difficulties are included in dyslexia, dyscalculia and dysgraphy, which is why educational care is limited to academic deficits, ignoring emotional and social problems

Epidemiological Studies of Malaria Parasite on HIV Patients Attending General Hospital Awo-Omamma, Oru East, Imo State

HIV and malaria are the two most prevalent and deadly diseases in the world.  Malaria and HIV accounted for about 255 million cases in 2017, with malaria having 86% of this distribution and HIV having 14% of the distribution. Given the overlap of their geographic distribution and resultant rates of coinfection, interactions between the two diseases pose major public health problems. This study was aimed at investigating the epidemiology of malaria – HIV co-infection in respect to sex and age and its association with CD4+ count and viral load. 230 HIV sero-positive participants and 100 HIV sero-negative participants (control) were employed for this study. 52 (22.6%) of the HIV infected participants tested positive for malaria while only 9(9.0%) of the non-HIV participants tested positive to malaria. The prevalence of malarial infection in HIV positive individuals was shown to be higher in females (23.9%) compared to the prevalence for males (18.5%). In respect to age, the age group of 30-39 showed the highest prevalence (35.3%) of co-infection. A high prevalence of 47.7% was recorded in participants with CD4+ below 200 cells/μl compared to the prevalence of 7.6% in participants with CD4+ greater than 200 cells/μl. A high prevalence (49.2%) was also detected in patients with viral load of above 10,000 copies/μl compared to that of those with viral load less than 10,000 copies/μl (12.6%). The findings in this work show a high prevalence of malaria in HIV patients in Awo-Omamma, Oru East, Imo state. This should be considered a great concern to public health. Thus, more effort should be put in research to curb this health issue.&nbsp

On the analytical study of Mellin moments of parton distribution functions

Mellin moments of parton density functions are obtained as integrals of the distribution over Bjorken-x variable. They are not only used for obtaining the solution of scale evolution equation of parton densities but also for the evaluation of scattering cross sections. In this work, we review the evolution equations of moments of parton density functions and their applications in QCD analysis have also been studied. One can study scaling violation, without making any assumption, on the shape of input parameterization of parton densities

The effect of high-performance work systems on employee well-being: moderate role of union practice

Improving employee well-being is not only a social responsibility that an enterprise should assume, but also an important means to improve its own competitiveness. Based on the theory of social information processing, this paper takes 256 employees in Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Shanghai as samples, and finds that high-performance work systems have a significant positive impact on employees 'psychological well-being, and have a significant negative impact on employees' physical well-being To influence. In addition, the paper finds that union practice can significantly enhance the positive impact of high-performance work systems on employee psychological well-being. This provides new guidance for improving employee happiness through sound management practices

Numerical stability of coupled differential equation with piecewise constant arguments

This paper deals with the stability of numerical solutions for a coupled differential equation with piecewise constant arguments. A sufficient condition such that the system is asymptotically stable is derived. Furthermore, when the linear  θ-method is applied to this system, it is shown that the linear θ-method is asymptotically stable if and only if 1/2<θ≤1. Finally, some numerical experiments are given

Certain Subclasses Of Meromorphic Functions With Fixed Second Coefficients Associated With Generalized Polylogarithm Functions

In this paper we introduce and study a subclass GP (α, λ, μ, κ, c) of meromorphic univalent functions which is associated with generalized polylogarithm functions. We obtain coefficient estimates, extreme points, growth and distortion bounds, radii of meromorphically starlikeness and meromorphically convexity for the class GP (α, λ, μ, κ, c) by fixing the second coefficient. Further, it is shown that the class GP (α, λ, μ, κ, c) is closed under convex linear combination
