Key Influencing Factors on Entrepreneurial Motivation among Women Entrepreneurs
The aim of this study is to investigate the key determinants on entrepreneurial motivation among women entrepreneurs particulalrly in Sabah, Malaysia. This study focuses on two personality factors in studying the motivation among women entrepreneurs. These two key personality factors were need for achievement and self-efficacy. Structured questionnaire instrument was used in this study. The respondents of this study are 400 women entrepreneurs located around Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. Based on the results and findings of this study, the result showed that only need for achievement has a relationship with entrepreneurial motivation among women entrepreneurs in Sabah. The findings of this study revealed the importance of need for achievement and its role in promoting an entrepreneurial motivation among women entrepreneurs. With this information, the government can develop appropriate entrepreneurial programs, which highlight the need for achievement in an effort to promote an entrepreneurial motivation among women entrepreneurs
Directions to Explore the Principles of Service Innovation: With Various Companies’ Case Study
Service innovation is a new or significantly improved concept that is taken into practice based on new customer interaction channel, a distribution system or a technological concept or a combination of them. Here authors provide nine principles of service innovation and various case studies. The principles are designed by keeping the view of their applicability to all variety of businesses seeking to be successful in the turbulent times facing different industries. Collectively, these principles are the key major factors about making a break with the way innovation has been done in the past and developing compelling products, services and value propositions for existing and new customers supported by a range of business models
The Strategic Role of Human Resources and Empowerment through the Commitment of the Government in Alleviating Poverty on Fishermen Society Coastal of South Minahasa District Indonesia
The strategic role of human resources is challenging changes came fast and widespread problem. The government's commitment is needed to support the fishermen seashores especially those that are in the South Minahasa District. This study aims to analyze the strategic role of Human Resources to Government Commitment , Empowerment to Commitment and Strategic Human Resources to Empowerment and Government Commitment in alleviating Poverty. Research conducted at the Fishermen Society Coastal South Minahasa regency. The population in the implementation of the research is Fisherman working on the coast numbered around 250 fishermen. This research was taken precision sampling 5% to maintain a representative of the study sample. Sample of 153 people. The analysis techniques used in the study using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The results of this study indicate that the strategic human resources positive and significant effect on the commitment of the command for 0.714. Empowerment positive and significant impact on the government's commitment for 0.873 as well positioned for empowerment human resources positive and significant effect of 0.34. The government's commitment to alleviate poverty in coastal communities should be carried out by providing a wide range of access to the right information, there needs to be accountability and the involvement of coastal fishermen in decision-making
The Inclusion of Labor Market Conditions in a Proposed Modeling Framework for Fresh Graduates’ Retention
Fresh graduates are often described as young generations with high productivity potentials but with fewer chances to enter the labor market. After graduation, they frequently find themselves in a complexity of work integration. Employers have expectations from them and they also have their own ambitions that are usually considered as high. Being the promise for a better tomorrow to any labor market, it matters for nations as well as organizations to retain these young generations. Nowadays, retaining fresh graduates has turned to be a great challenge especially that labor market conditions have become very tough and hard hit by economic crises, low wages and unequal labor rights. Although many scholars and practitioners emphasize the importance of retaining fresh graduates in challenging labor markets, research related to the links among fresh graduates, labor market conditions and retention has failed to keep up. Given the importance of this issue, this study seeks to review the existing literature on labor market conditions affecting fresh graduates’ retention and job satisfaction, identify and address the related research gaps and develop an integrated model highlighting how fresh graduates’ retention can be affected by various practices, conditions and psychological states
First digit counting compatibility II: twin prime powers
The first digits of twin primes follow a generalized Benford law with size-dependent exponent and tend to be uniformly distributed, at least over the finite range of twin primes up to 10^m, m=5,...,16. The extension to twin prime powers for a fixed power exponent is considered. Assuming the Hardy-Littlewood conjecture on the asymptotic distribution of twin primes, it is claimed that the first digits of twin prime powers associated to any fixed power exponent converge asymptotically to a generalized Benford law with inverse power exponent. In particular, the sequences of twin prime power first digits presumably converge asymptotically to Benford’s law as the power exponent goes to infinity. Numerical calculations and the analytical first digit counting compatibility criterion support these conjectured statements
A Proof of Beal's conjecture
It is proved in this paper t that the equation has no solution in relatively prime positive integers with odd primes at least This is equivalent to Fermat\rq{}s Last Theorem which is stated as follows: If are positive integers, and is an odd prime satisfying then are not relatively prime
Regulations and guidelines for research are only a starting point to ensure ethical research practice
Ethical research practice is an umbrella term enlisting various aspects of research practices including clinical interventions, surveys, case-control and cohort studies, studies involving children and studies in developing countries. All the mentioned aspects vary in their conduction and use of ethics. According to some ethics, its rules and guidelines are just the starting point of the research. The following text clears out the doubts on the ethics and elaborates on the prominence of ethical practices in the prodigious field of research
Thiamine Hydrochloride as Copper Corrosion Inhibitor in 1m HNO3
3-((4-Amino-2-methyl-5-pyrimidinyl) methyl)-5-(2-hydroxyethyl)-4-methylthiazolium chloride hydrochloride also known as Thiamine hydrochloride (Vitamin B1 hydrochloride) was used as copper corrosion inhibitor in 1.0M HNO3 solution. The study was performed using weight loss and Density Functional Theory (DFT) methods. Copper dissolution was found to be temperature and Thiamine concentration dependent. The thermodynamic functions related to the adsorption of the molecule on the copper surface and that of the metal dissolution were determined. The results show a spontaneous adsorption and an endothermic dissolution processes. Adsorption models, including Langmuir, El-Awady and Flory-Huggins isotherms were examined. The Dubinin Raduskhevich isotherm was used to distinguish between physisorption and chemisorption. Furthermore, the global and local reactivity parameters of the molecule were analysed. Experimental and theoretical results were found to be in good agreement
The Impact of Transformational Leadership on Feedback-seeking Behavior
As a new leadership model, transformational leadership style and the impact on employee behaviours have become hot topics in the field of organizational behaviour. Through the questionnaire surveys of 330 employees and their direct leaders, this study explored the relationship between transformational leadership style and feedback-seeking behaviour of employees, as well as examined the mediating role of organizational identity and the moderating effects of power distance. The result shows that: Transformational leadership can enhance the subordinates’ organizational identification, thus increase frequency of feedback-seeking behaviour; besides, power-distance controls this process negatively
A New Economic Era in Computer Science: DNA Vs Quantum Computing
The increasing rate of growth both of science and technology in our era, renders the forecasts for the development course of each technology, very significant for the strategic development designer of any organism, either this concerns an enterprise or a state or a union of states. Such a technology is the computer technology, which is currently to the limit of its current possibilities and is being prepared to pass into a new era and create a new economic environment. The silicon technology, because of its constructional restrictions, cannot maintain the existing growth rate for more than one decade. “Spintronics” or “molecular electronics” can constitute transient technologies, but the radical change will be the transition from serial to parallel calculating process.Aim of this work is to constitute a useful tool for the forecast of development of the subversive technologies that will bring us to a new era of computer science. DNA computing and Quantum computing are considered as such technologies. The use of such a forecast may result in dramatic changes in the economic map of the companies engaged in information technology, since it will allow an early placement of them in upcoming competitive race
