Fixed Point Theorems in Ordered Generalized Metric Spaces with Integral Type
In this paper, we prove fixed point theorems for weakly compatible self mappings satisfying certain contractive conditions of integral type in G-metric spaces.
Families of Iterative Methods with Higher Convergence Orders for Solving Nonlinear Equations
Recently, there has been progress in developing Newton-type methods with higher convergence to solve nonlinear equations. This paper develops new classes of iterative methods with higher convergence orders (more than four) by a construction of two iterative methods of integer-order of convergence, , and > . The construction of such methods provides new classes of methods of order 2 + of convergence. Numerical examples are provided, as well as the use of other existing methods to demonstrate the performance of the presented methods
On Blow-up Time and Rate Of The Numerical Solutions of The Semilinear Heat Equation with Reaction Term
In this paper, we study the numerical blow-up solutions and times of the semilinear heat equation with reaction term. We compute the blow-up growth rate in the numerical solutions of two numerical experiments, depending on the blow-up solutions and times, those have been computed using a finite difference method.
Perception of Employee on the relationship between Internal Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Organizational Affective Commitment
The five dimensions of internal CSR namely health and safety, work life balance, training and development, workplace diversity and compensation and benefit was used to measure the level of employee‘s emotional attachment towards the organization. There are a total of 220 sets of questionnaire being distributed to employees who work in Klang Valley regardless of their industry. However, there are only 156 set of questionnaire is usable for analysis. From the analysis, it represented that most of the respondents in this study are degree holder who fall under the age group of 21 to 30. Findings obtained indicated that compensation and benefit is the strongest predictor in affecting employees‘ perception on organizational affective commitment followed by health and safety and workplace diversity. On the other hand, work life balance and training and development were found to be not having any relationship with organizational affective commitment when other variable (health and safety, workplace diversity, compensation and benefit) is added into the model. Several practical suggestions are forwarded to help improve the study on organizational affective commitment in near future
Taxonomic Study and Medicinal Uses of Verbenaceae Family of Rajshahi, Bangladesh
Taxonomic study and medicinal uses of the family Verbenaceae of Rajshahi was carried out from July 2015 to June 2016. A total of 9 species under 9 genera belonging to the family Verbenaceae were collected and identified. For each species botanical name, local name, status of occurrence, habit, habitat, flowering and fruiting time, chromosome number, distribution and traditional medicinal uses have been mentioned. Photographs of all species are presented. The medicinal data collected about these commonly used plant species were recorded, preserved and documented which revealed that they are quite effective remedies for different diseases such as fever, rheumatism, worm, ulcers, asthma, headache, ringworm, piles, diuretic, eczema, skin disease, bronchitis, stomachic, boils, menstrual disease, malaria, tetanus, wounds, burning sensation, jaundice, anaemia, cough and leprosy. Thus a survey was carried out, to record the traditional health care remedies currently practiced by the local people
Investigation of Mutant GFAP Protein Associated with Alexander Disease and its Therapeutic Intervention: Structure Based Drug Design Approach
Systems Biology approach involves integration of experimental and computational research to understand complex biological systems. Alexander's Disease (AxD) was first described by W. S. Alexander in 1949, and is a rare, but often fatal neurological disorder that has been divided into three subtypes based on the age of onset: the infantile, juvenile and adult forms that are shown to be caused by mutations in the gfap gene. The infantile form, with onset between birth and about two years of age, is currently the most common form of the disease. The characteristic neuropathological feature of all forms of AxD is the presence of Rosenthal fibers. In present study, the mutant GFAP protein associated with AxD was investigated by predicting the structure of wild type and mutant GFAP protein. It was found that due to the reported single point mutation, the mutant protein adopted a left handed α-helix structure in sharp contrast to the predicted right handed α-helix of the wt GFAP indicating large conformational change which may be the cause of aggregation of GFAP forming Rosenthal Fibers. In the absence of any commercially available drug to alleviate the symptoms of AxD, the therapeutic intervention of mutant GFAP protein was done using structure based drug design approach. The drug dibutyryl cyclic AMP identified through data mining from STITCH 4.0 was found to be toxic and therefore its structural analogs were generated using GAUSSIAN 09. Each of the 20 structural analogs of dbcAMP were docked with mutant GFAP using Discovery Studio 2.5 and analysed for their toxicity potential using OSIRIS Property Explorer. Three structural analogs i.e. DBCM12, DBCM17 and DBCM20 were found to have favourable docking, druglikeness and did not pose any toxicity risk. These structural analogs identified may be further analysed for therapeutic intervention of AxD by their role in prevention of aggregation of mutant GFAP.
Amino Acids in cheese Kackaval produced from Combined milk (2: 1 Cows & Sheep milk) in milk industry “Bylmeti” in Fushë Kosova
The role of milk in nature is to ensure food and immunological protection of the young mammals. Milk processing in Kaçkaval cheese takes very important place in productivity of dairy, in the same time takes very important role in domestic economy as well as nutritive for human kind.
The task of this paper is to determine the influence of type of milk (cow and sheep, and a mixture of these two types of milk (ratio between the milks 2:1) on the properties of cheese kaçkaval, then determine how to produce the milk used type of change affects the amino acids properties of cheese during ripening.
This study is done to research the ingredients of amino acids of Kaçkaval cheese, (these type of cheese is classified to semi hard group of cheeses), daily fresh cheese (One day), 15 to 30 days maturing, produced from combined cows and sheep milk, from fresh milk. There were made 45th of analyses with amino analeiser to searching ingredients of amino acids.
Open Innovation: Corporations Success Mantra
Open innovation is the process of searching outside a company’s walls—and even its own industry—for technology and solutions to keep it at the cutting edge. More companies now believe that open innovation has emerged as a best practice when it comes innovation. Putting your needs out in the open is sometimes better than trying to innovate in- house or in secret. Big corporations have embedded innovation as a strategic goal. The speed at which information and ideas move throughout the global economy has forced organizations to adopt innovation as part of their processes and to develop cultures that encourage experimentation and new ideas. In this paper, an attempt has been made to discuss the relevance of open innovation as success mantra of many corporations leading worldwide
Student Satisfaction and School Reputation: The Moderating Role of Student Loyalty and School Image
Nowadays, education services play an important role in Hong Kong’s economic growth, such that 93% of Hong Kong’s Gross Domestic Product (GDP) was derived from the service sector in 2012.Due to the impact of globalization on higher education, the growth of higher education in Hong Kong has emerged as a business through the support from government and in response to financial needs around the world. As self-financed higher education institutions struggle to maintain their competitiveness, quality and reputation are crucial for distinguishing their competitive edge and superior quality. This research investigated the quality and reputation by studying the moderating effects of student loyalty and school image on the relationship between student satisfaction and school reputation. 297 responses from students in four self-financed higher education institutions, which gave a response rate of 92.81%, were collected. The results found that student loyalty and school image had full moderating influence on the relationship between student satisfaction and school reputation
MAN-SUMER-ISM IN RETAIL: AN EMPIRICAL STUDY FROM EMERGING RETAIL FORMATS OF URBAN ODISHA
When it comes to shopping in-store, both genders vehemently agree that long lines to check out hinder their enjoyment when it comes time for some retail therapy. Since the term “mansumer” was coined in December 2012, retailers have worked to identify how purchasing patterns differ between women and men. The rise of e-tail has leveled the playing field between male and female shoppers. The Mansumer Myth states that retailers falsely belief that men should be treated differently than women because they are more efficient and concerned about time, they are not influenced by browsing and they make logical rather than emotional decisions. Everything from advertising style, message, and media, to product design, store layout, sales training, and customer service policies are designed to appeal specifically to both sexes. Failure to address the idiosyncrasies of gender can have real financial consequence for retailers. The purpose of this study is to compare men and women for differences in shopping from emerging retail formats
