Get PDFAs stated originally the four – color problem asked whether it is always possible to color the regions of a plane map with four colors such that regions which share a common boundary ( and not just a point ) receive different colors. In the long and arduous history of attacks to prove the four color theorm many attempts came close, but what finally succeeded in the Apple – Haken proof of 1976 and also in the recent proof of Robertson ,Sanders , Seymour and Thomas 1997 was a combination of some old ideas and the calculating powers of modern – day computers. Thirty years after the original proof, the situation is still basically the the same,no pure mathematical proof is in sight.Now I give in my paper such a pure mathematical proof
The Unfamiliar as Object of an Empirical Science
Get PDFThe question of this paper follows an empirical study carried out from 2013 to 2015 in five EU countries. The paper looks for a method by which empirical statements can be comprehensibly generalized. The answer is given before a methodological-constructive background. Empirical statements about persons and events are an integral part of the concept. However these statements serve to form input hypotheses. In order to decide the hypotheses, the linguistic means must be provided. In Methodical Constructivism, the general occurs in language as the generality of a predicator. Predication is the place where the relationship between individual and universal can be developed. The concept is based on a process called "dialogical training of experience". With its help, characteristics can be assigned to persons methodically secured; the syntax and semantics of a science language can be provided as an interpreted formal language; and transitions from particular to empirical assertions can be established
Lived Experience of Secondary School Teachers in the K To12 Curriculum
Get PDFThis study was conceptualized to explore the lives of the land owners under the Comprehensive Agrarian Reform Program (CARP) in the province of Iloilo. This study employed the descriptive multiple case study method. The respondents were five (5) land owners of which one land owner per congressional district. The data gathering tools used was in-depth interviews and semi–structured interviews. Document analysis was also established. Data were transcribed, analyzed and coded into themes. The researchers developed the category and theme based on the data gathered. The theory generated from narrative data reveals that theoretically, land owner’s feelings are still attached to the parcel of their lands covered by the Comprehensive Agrarian Reform Program. In addition, landowners cope with the loss of their lands as they shift from agriculture to another field of endeavor such as work abroad, engaged in real estate, etc. The lost of the land of the landowners to the farmer-beneficiaries motivated them to try other field of ventures. Lastly, the land owners experienced problems such as insufficient notice and time especially to those who are residing and working abroad.

No full textDans la pensée de Hegel, la figure de la "conscience malheureuse" est essentielle pour comprendre le statut de la reconnaissance, de la contradiction, du déchirement et de la scission. Dans ce sens, on découvre chez Hegel une expérience du tragique de la vie où les concepts avant signalé inscrivent et déterminent la formation de la conscience. De ce point de vue, les déplacements théoriques que Hegel met à ce sujet que nous nommons subjectivité ouvrent une perspective épistémologique qui reprend le travail de l'acte critiqué en tant une pratique qui se propose d'inscrire un savoir critiqué.Ce savoir est défini, à son tour, comme un processus réfléchissant dans le mouvement des figures de la conscience, dans la mesure où sa limite dénote une pensée parlante qui mobilise les figures vers ce défiguré et qui permet à la conscience de faire d'elle même un trajet, c'est-à-dire, son propre parcours critique. À partir de ce cadre théorique, je réfléchis au pouvoir politique du statut du défiguré dans la conscience malheureuse pour penser ce contemporain.Ainsi, le moment du malheur qu'il constitue à la conscience malheureuse est compris comme l'institution du lieu de l'acte jcritique.
Some Underlying Psychological Mechanisms of the Anti Vaccination Movement
Get PDFThe Anti Vaccination Movement grew out as a result of Andrew Wakefield’s claims regarding the link between autism and vaccines. Although his claims have been massively refuted, and it was later evident that he engaged in gross ethical misconduct, adherents to the Anti Vaccination Movement persist in their belief that vaccines cause autism. In this article, I explore three psychological mechanisms that partly explain why the Anti Vaccination Movement keeps its strength. First, conditioning: most parents of autistic children discover their child’s condition at around the same time they receive vaccines shots, and this facilitates the association of those two events in their minds. Second, modeling: the endorsement of the Anti Vaccination Movement by celebrities encourages people to believe in their mistaken theories. Third, agency detection: the Anti Vaccination Movement relies on conspiratorial thinking, and this way of thinking is based on the natural tendency of all humans to attribute agency to purposeless events

The principle of formation of low-temperature eutectics is the basis for the energy-saving technology. The use of biowaste of sewage water treatment plants (WAS) enables us to perform plastic formation of products without addition of free water, thereby realizing a water-saving technology. The sintering of mixtures under conditions of a shortage of oxygen (in argon) leads to the formation of carbonized porous ceramics. Depending on the sintering regime, ceramics of different application (from building ceramics to adsorbing ceramics) can be obtained
SOLVING DELAY DIFFERENTIAL EQUATIONS BY ELZAKI TRANSFORM METHOD
Get PDFIn this paper, we implement the Elzaki transform method for the solution of delay differential equations (DDEs). The method executes the DDEs by implementing its properties on the given DDE. Also, the method treats the nonlinear terms with a well posed formula. The method is easy to implement with high level of accuracy. Also, restricted transformations, perturbation, linearization or discretization are not recognized. The resulting numerical evidences show that the method converges favourably to the analytic solution. All computational frameworks are performed with maple 18 software
Assessing The Effect of Print News Media Marketing Strategies on Newspaper Distribution in Rwanda
Get PDFThe study assessed the effect of print media marketing strategies on newspaper distribution in Rwanda. The study objectives were: to assess the effect of use of new technology on newspaper distribution in Rwanda, and to examine the effect of newspaper pricing on newspaper distribution in Rwanda. The study employed a descriptive non- experimental case study design with a triangulation approach involving both qualitative and quantitative methods in data analysis. A likert scale questionnaire with close-ended questions and an open-ended questionnaire were used for data collection. Using SPSS, the data was coded and analyzed. The findings of the study indicate that the use of new technology by The New Times and Imvaho Nshya newspapers has a significant positive relationship with newspaper distribution in Rwanda. Also, newspaper pricing was found to have a strong positive significant relationship with newspaper distribution in Rwanda. Thus, the study recommends among other things a further investigation into effect of use of GSM technology in newspaper distribution in Rwanda
TECHNOLOGY ACCEPTANCE OF PATIENT PORTALS: A CASE STUDY
No full textWith the passing of the Affordable Care Act in the United States in 2010, electronic health records, including patient portals, were integrated into most medical practices with the hope that these systems would help to better manage and secure healthcare information. The shift over time from paper-based medical processes to electronic health records could help provide patients greater access to their Protected Health Information. A digital divide can occur in medical practices where only some patients have access to their health information. This case study involved physician-managed ambulatory clinics in Utah and examined provider and medical staff beliefs about the efficacy of patient portals. The variables identified in the technology acceptance model and some of its variants were used to formulate interview questions to better understand provider and medical staff acceptance of patient portals. Specifically, perceived usefulness, social norms, and social influence were TAM-related variables that were examined.
