Numerical Study The Dielectric Properties And Specific Absorption Rate Of Nerve Human Tissue At Different Frequencies
The study of electromagnetic radiation effects on human body is a very important subject, due to the possible health effects, these electromagnetic waves can cause in life tissue. In this paper, the dielectric properties and specific absorption rat (SAR) distribution in nerve human tissues exposed to electromagnetic radiation with different frequencies is studied . We modeled nerve tissue by layered system. Finite difference time domain (FDTD) computations were used to evaluator the electric, magnetic field, and specific absorption rate. Results show the dielectric properties as conductivity, relative permittivity and penetration depth of nerve tissue plotted with different frequencies. A one dimensional FDTD algorithm has been built, some simulations for electromagnetic wave through the nerve tissue is made. Results show that electromagnetic fields penetrate the life tissues and attenuate fast to reach zero at large time steps. SAR show maximum at the first boundary of tissue and becomes less value by using high frequency. Also, the result appear that penetration depth and relative permittivity decreased by increasing frequency
Reduced Order Modeling of Linearized Power Electronic Cricuit
Most of the systems in our daily life consist of power electronic circuits. They are micro circuits which are difficult to be analyze because the circuit consists of nonlinear elements. This paper deals with one of the power electronic circuit, boost converter. The non-linear elements of the converter circuit are linearized. The obtained linearized converter circuit is a higher order model. Designing a controller for this higher order model is complex and simulation time also increases. So, efficient order reduction techniques have been used to reduce the system order. The models are simulated using MATLAB 13.0 simulink software. Simulation results show that hankel was a better method for order reduction depicting same characteristics for higher and lower order models.
Commercial Bank Financing and Agricultural Sector Output in Nigeria (1981-2014)
This research work examined the Effect of Commercial Banks Financing and Agricultural sector output in Nigeria for a period of 34 years (1981-2014). Its focus is to describe the trend of Real Agricultural Domestic Product (RAGDP) and Commercial Bank Loans to Agricultural Sector (CBLA); determine the effect of commercial banks financing and agricultural sector output in Nigeria as well as make policy recommendations based on research findings.Secondary data were sourced from Central Bank Statistical Bulletin of various years. The Ordinary Lease square technique was used in this research to estimate the effect of commercial banks financing on agricultural sector output. Augmented Dickey Fuller (ADF) test was conducted to determine the properties of the variables used in the study and also to test for stationarity of the variables. The independent variable is commercial bank loan to agriculture and the dependent variable is real agricultural gross domestic product.The results of the unit root test shows that the variables were stationary at first difference.The results of descript statistics show slight fluctuating trend in both RAGDP and CBLA. The regression results revealed that R2 is 0.996415 or 99.6%. This implies that about 99.6 percent of the total variations in real agricultural gross domestic product is explained by the explanatory variable (commercial bank loans to agricultural sector). Thus, findings revealed that there is a positive relationship between commercial bank loan to agriculture and the real agricultural gross domestic product and this is in line with the aprori expectation of the study.This means that a one percent increase in commercial bank loan to agricultural sector will increase real agricultural gross domestic product by 1.9 percent. The F-ratio of the model showed that model is statistically significant. Thus, we conclude that the commercial bank financing has significant impact on agricultural sector output in Nigeria. The study recommends that the commercial bank should increase loan facilities to the agricultural sector to sustain food production for the teeming population of Nigeria.

Technical Analysis: Exploring MACD in the Lebanese Stock Market
The stock markets have shown a great growth in the financial world that required traders to deal with many quantitative methods to analyze markets in order to predict commodities’ future prices. This study assesses the effect of technical analysis on the Lebanese stock markets by using a tool known as the Moving Average Convergence/Divergence (MACD) oscillator that explores how MACD can be utilized to optimize profits in the Lebanese stock exchange, during the trading process. The study is performed on closing prices of shares of six Lebanese banks and a real estate company, over a time period extending from the beginning of the year 2004 till the end of the year 2014. Results are meant to indicate whether MACD is able to optimize profits and forecast the Lebanese stock prices. It is concluded that the application of MACD in the decision making process for investing in the Lebanese stock market does not significantly contribute to the maximization of profitability on investments
Reflecting Upon Ethical Imperatives for Scholarly Research and The Case of a South African University
A university’s reputation is built on the quality of its research and teaching output. Often a university with an established track record on research and teaching output can more easily access external funding and further improve on its ranking and standing amongst peers. This enables it to attract and retain better quality students, academics and researchers. Ideally, these staff and students in turn increase the quality of its research and thus a virtuous circle is created. Therefore, it is understandable that universities in South Africa, as in most parts of the world, are constantly scrambling to increase their research output and enhance their research quality. However, whenever issues of compromised academic integrity and unethical research practices arise, university management has often been unable to deal adequately with these issues. This article concurs with the emerging argument among research scholars that it is insufficient to focus on ethical policies and guidelines without considering the culture of the institution. It argues that the ethical researcher needs to be supported by a dominant culture of academic integrity. The article then uses the case of South African university to illustrate this argument.

A Comparison Study of Linear and Nonlinear Regression Models
Regression analysis is an important statistical tool for analyzing the relationships between dependent, and independent variables. The main goal of regression analysis is determine, and estimate parameters of a function that describe the best fit for a given data sets. There are many linear types of regression analysis models such as simple and multiple regression models. Also, there are the non-linear regression analyses such as binary and multinomial logistic regression models. This research at first, introduced many types of such models. Second, estimates the parameters of the models by using the maximum likelihood estimation, and the least square estimation methods. Also, it introduces some criteria for evaluating methods. Two suitable applications on two different data sets are conducted, and useful results are concluded
