The Relationship between Ethical Leadership and Teachers Continuance Organizational Commitment

    Get PDF
The current study aims to investigate the relationship between the behavior of ethical leaders and their continuance organizational commitment, and also to discover the mediational impact of teachers' loyalty on their relationships at the international schools in Jeddah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA). The study employed a quantitative approach as follows: a formatted questionnaire was distributed to a random sample, of which 372 valid questionnaires were returned to the researchers. In addition to examining the research hypotheses, several statistical methods were used to analyse the compiled data. The study showed that when the supervisor displays positive behaviors and a moral leadership style, this has leverage on the employees’ performance. The study found that there is a statistically important engagement relevance between moral leadership and teachers’ loyalty. Moreover, the study showed that teachers' loyalty facilitated the association between ethical leadership and teachers' continuance commitment toward organization. The current research recommended that it was essential to increase the standard of moral leadership for managers, to positively influence continuance commitment to the organisation, and to enhance teachers' loyalty

ESCALATION OF SMALL INDUSTRY COMPETITIVENESS IN SUPPORTING ECONOMIC GROWTH IN INDONESIA

    Get PDF
Small industries are growing rapidly in business units and employment, but are still very low contributing to GDP compared to medium and large industries with a smaller share of business units and labor. This has an impact on the widening gap in labor productivity between small industries and large industries and competitiveness in both domestic and global markets. This condition is very worrying considering that the small industrial sector is highly expected to be the engine of growth because of its significant role in employment. Data used secondary data in the form of provincial panel data in Indonesia from 2010-2015. The analysis uses panel regression method with two equations for small industry competitiveness and economic growth in Indonesia. Based on the Hausman test obtained the right model is the common effect. The results show that in the small industry competitiveness equation, production value and labor productivity have a positive effect on the competitiveness of small industries, labor wage variables have a negative effect, while technology does not affect the competitiveness of small industries in Indonesia. The economic growth equation obtained by the results of competitiveness, investment, and small industrial business units have a positive effect on economic growth in Indonesia

ISLAMIC ECONOMY AND POLITICS IN THE VIEW OF MUHAMMAD BAQIR SADR

    Get PDF
This study aims to find the views of a central figure in formulating the Islamic economy in modern times, Muhammad Baqir Sadr. Islam as a universal religion interacts with the economic and political system, or what we commonly call today as an Islamic economy and Islamic politics, the interaction between the two makes certain implications, so that at this time people are starting to ask whether Islamic economics can provide solutions to people? and is the Islamic economy only talking about matters related to production and consumption without considering its relationship with politics? this study attempts to answer this question based on the literature review and textual analysis. This research will first discuss how Muhammad Baqir Sadr views the Islamic economy in modern times, secondly how the interaction of Islamic economics and politics itself, thirdly analyzes and summarizes holistically the benefits of Islamic economics and politics as an alternative solution for people in modern times

The Role of Team Effectiveness in Promoting Work Output

    Get PDF
The study assessed the impact of teamwork on organizational productivity on the staff members of web design companies; Facio Innovations technology and Unique Tech Solutions. The research employed both qualitative and quantitative tools in analyzing the relationship between the independent variable (teamwork) and the dependent variable. The study revealed a significant positive impact of the predictors on the response variable with an adjusted R2 of 84%. Qualitative analysis of both organizations reveals a great user experience achieve when projects are executed by teams. The study recommends teamwork activities have to be adopted by Fintech companies in order to enhance their performance and productivity

An alternative one parameter triangular distribution

    Get PDF
Triangular distributions are well known but not so widely studied in the specialized literature. Despite of having few applications, triangular distributions are useful in finances, econometrics, risk analysis and hydraulics. However, triangular distributions are usually conceived using two or more parameters, what gives them flexibility but turns them less parsimonious, mainly for small samples. For that reason, this paper brings a new alternative of parsimonious triangular distribution

Thermoelectric Power Factor for various temperature gradients in Nanocrystalline Composites

    Get PDF
Nanocrystalline are polycrystalline material that are very tiny particles with the dimension less than 100 nanometers. Nanocrystalline material can be estimated using x-ray diffraction. In this paper; thermoelectric power factor for nanocrystalline graphs are plotted and compared with various temperature gradients (10K, 100K and 200K) such as seeback coefficient, electrical conductivity, power factor, subband plot, transmission plot, potential energy – centerline, electron density – centerline, current density – centerline, density of states – centerline and areal current density; values for graphs are also noted for further study

The well known Tribonacci sequence is a third order recurrence sequence. In this paper, we define other generalized Tribonacci sequence and establish some properties of this sequence using matrix methods

Spatial Distribution Characteristics and Evolution Pattern of Air Quality in Henan Province

    Get PDF
Urban air pollution is an urgent problem to be solved in the process of rapid urbanization and economic development in China. Based on the daily average data of urban air quality index of Henan province from 2015.1 to 2018.12, this paper utilizes cluster analysis, trend surface analysis and centralizing evolution analysis methods to study the spatial distribution characteristics and evolution pattern of urban air quality in the province. The results show that the air quality in the province presents five air quality systems, which seriously relate to the terrain, the air quality index of the northern cities has always been higher than that of the southern cities, with the latitude increases, the air quality index gradually increases, and the increase rate in the middle region is significantly higher than that in both sides. The province weathers, in the study period, shows 4 grades as good & moderate, lightly polluted, moderately polluted and heavily polluted. Lightly polluted weathers first appear in central and southern cities, moderately polluted and heavily polluted weather first appear in the northern cities, and then spread to the rest cities of the province

The Regularization q-Homotopy Analysis Method for (1 and 2) - Dimensional Non-linear First Kind Fredholm Integral Equations

    Get PDF
In this paper, the solutions of (1 and 2)- dimensional non-linear first kind Fredholm integral equations are studied by combine the q-homotopy analysis method (q-HAM) [2-11] and the regularization method [16,17]. The utilization of this technique depends on converting the first kind Fredholm Integral Equations to the second kind of equations by applying the regularization method. Then q-HAM is employed to the resulting second kind of equations to obtain a solution. Some illustrative examples are given to demonstrate the validity and applicability of this technique

From fractal - Cantorian classical music to the symphony of the standard model of high energy particles physics

    Get PDF
We report in this short letter on what we think is a major finding which could remove forever the schism that exists between Science and Art in an unprecedented way. In particular we believe that we were able to uncover an entire spectrum of scale invariant fractal Cantorian space-time manifolds starting from Einstein's D = 4 space-time and continuing via Kaluza-Klein D = 5, Superstring D = 10, Witten's M-theory D = 11 and Vafa's F-theory D = 12 to reach some tantalizing connections to the standard model of high energy particle physics as well as Arnold Schoenberg's twelve tone music. Our quantitative mathematical analysis depends in a crucial way on the golden mean number system of E-Infinity theory which implies not only a real  possibility of a theory of everything unifying all fundamental forces, but goes also far beyond that, suggesting a unification of facts and values i.e. Science and Art, encompassing music, poetry and philosophy
