Listening with Intent: Using ITunes U Language Course to Develop Active Listening Skills for Gifted and Talented Students
Teaching foreign language takes another step with the emergence of mobile applications and websites taking the classroom experience beyond the four walls of a traditional one. Interactive and well-developed applications such as Duolingo, Hello Talk, WiP learning, Mind snacks and Babbel, offer new language learning experience to current generation of students. The mobile apps create interesting environment and good space to practice and use the language. This study investigated the efficacy of iTunes U on improving listening skill of foreign languages taught to the gifted and talented students of Permata Insan College, Islamic Science University of Malaysia. There were 47 Foundation Three (15 years old) students of the college who participated in the iTunes U courses for Arabic and English subject. The students later were asked to complete a questionnaire designed to gauge their attitude and perception towards the courses that covered the listening skill lessons. The finding showed that the iTunes U listening lessons managed to help the students developed their skill and awareness on the listening aspects of both languages. The use of uploaded short videos and the discussion about them managed to enhance their listening ability and quality since they were more alert and conscious in their conversation and listening effort. The positive perception towards such listening lessons in iTunes U courses augurs well for the use of online language learning platform for the gifted and talented students

BIG DATA MANAGEMENT- A FINANCIAL INSTITUTION APPROACH
This study investigates the role of Big Data Management (BDM) on the competitive financial sector, its importance and effective adoption for Nigerian banks. A survey was used to collect primary data from branches of one of the leading banks in Nigeria and 796 usable questionnaires from bank customers, employees and managers were used for analysis. A descriptive research method and correlational study was used to determine the link between Big Data elements such as use of customers’ data and predictive analysis of customer trends and patterns in form of differentiation, increased sales, customer engagement as well as cost leadership. The research focused on customer’s rate of reviews of Big Data as the independent variables with repeat engagement and interaction as the dependent variables. Descriptive statistics using SPSS program specifically mean and standard deviations was employed for the analysis. Results show that banks create differentiation by introducing a variety of products and product mix from the analysis of customer feedback, trends and pattern which has driven customer satisfaction due to easy access to information and banking, access to products online, pay for bills via mobile banking platform, and response on various social media platforms. However, even though most customers use ATM cards and are on the mobile banking platform, Bank management should focus more on staff training and use of Diagnostic and descriptive statistics in understanding why and how some customers behave especially those who express their concerns on social media
The EFFECT OF FINANCIAL PERFORMANCE, EXTERNAL FACTORS, AND OPERATIONAL RATIO ON CAR RATIO OF SHARIA COMMERCIAL BANKS IN INDONESIA
Capital becomes an important part of a bank, even to determine the bank is healthy or not is assessed from its capital ratio. Likewise, sharia banks in Indonesia are growing rapidly in this modern era. The maximum use of capital in profit-sharing financing is believed to be more a leverage than investments such as sukuk and others. The growth of sharia banking in Indonesia is considered slow when compared to growth in foreign countries, while Indonesia as the largest Muslim population in the world has greater potential than other countries. The monetary climate and the lack of capital that enter sharia banks are believed to be the cause of the slow growth of sharia banking in Indonesia. In this study I found that ROE of 0.1% and Inflation of 0.466% had a positive effect on the CAR ratio, while GDP was 0.431% and BOPO was 0.116% with negative effect on the CAR ratio
The Effect of Marketing Mix and Brand Image on Purchase Decisions of Fashion Online Products
This study discusses the effect of marketing mix consisting of product, price and promotion, as well as brand image on purchasing decisions for Ukhti and Munira products at online store La Vieta ButiQ in Jember. The purpose of this study is to test and analyze the effect of product, price and promotion on purchasing decisions and brand image as intervening variable. The respondents analyzed included 100 online consumers Ukhti and Munira. The analytical method used is Path Analysis and Sobel Test with accidental sampling technique. The results of this study indicate that product and promotion have a significant effect on brand image, price does not affect brand image. Product, price and promotion have a significant effect on purchasing decisions, but brand image has no influence on purchasing decisions. Brand image does not mediate the influence of product, price and promotion on the purchase decisions for Ukhti and Munira products

Correlation Analysis of Main Pollutant Concentration-A Case Study of Zhengzhou
Air pollution is one of the main problems to be solved in the sustainable development of China's economy, its main pollution components include PM2.5, PM10, SO2, NO2, CO and O3, the pollution component governance is an effective means of atmospheric environmental management. Based on the monitor data of six main pollutant concentrations in Zhengzhou from 2015 to 2018, this paper analyzes the correlation characteristics between their concentrations by using correlation analysis, the multiple correlation characteristics of the one pollutant concentration with the other five pollutant concentrations by using multiple correlation analysis, the independent linear interpretation ratio between the six pollutant concentrations by using partial correlation analysis, at last, a pollutant independent emission index is defined to describe the independent emission level of one pollutant, then utilize the index to study the distribution characteristics of six main pollution concentrations in the study period in Zhengzhou. The results show that there is a significant correlation between the six pollutant concentrations. PM2.5, O3 and PM10 are the primary pollutants in Zhengzhou, the PM2.5 concentration is controlled by PM10 concentration and CO concentration, similarly, the PM10 concentration is controlled by PM2.5 concentration. In the polluted weather, O3 has the highest level of independent emissions. The main task of Zhengzhou in pollutant composition governance is to control the emission of PM2.5 and O3
Fully Fuzzy Quadratic programming with unrestricted Fully Fuzzy variables and Parameters
There exist several methods for solving fuzzy linear or nonlinear programming problems under positivity fuzzy variables and restricted fuzzy coefficients. Due to the limitation of these methods, they can’t be applied for solving fully fuzzy linear or nonlinear programming problems with unrestricted fuzzy coefficients and fuzzy variables. In this paper an efficient method to find the fuzzy optimal solution for fully fuzzy quadratic programming (FFQP) problem with unrestricted variables and parameters has been proposed. All the coefficients and decision variables of both objective functions and the constraints are triangular fuzzy numbers. The proposed method is based on converted FFQP problem into crisp quadratic programming (CQP) problem. Finally an illustrative numerical example has been given to clarify the proposed solution method
