    Generalized Pierre Numbers

In this paper, we introduce and investigate the generalized Pierre sequences for the first time and we deal with, in detail, two special cases, namely, Pierre and Pierre-Lucas sequences. We present Binet's formulas, generating functions, Simson formulas, and the summation formulas for these sequences. Moreover, we give some identities and matrices related with these sequences. Furthermore, we show that there are close relations between Pierre, Pierre-Lucas and Tribonacci, Tribonacci-Lucas numbers

Multidimensional Poverty Analysis: assessing poverty patterns among different demographic groups of India

The concept of Multidimensional Poverty Index (MPI), which is relied upon the idea that many intertwined aspects of poverty might not be always possible to be measured in terms of fixed prices, has gained considerable familiarity over the last decades and there have been various experimentations to determine the aspects which should be most imperative to review in order to determine who are poor and who are not. In almost all studies, education, health and standard of living have been singled out as the three obligatory aspects that cannot be avoided if we are rightly trying to estimate poverty and the Alkire-Foster counting approach is the most widely acknowledged and implemented method for constructing Multidimensional Poverty Index. In this paper we have extended the idea, by using the latest 2021 Alkire and Kanagaratnam proposition, for 2015 Indian National Family Health Survey Data and we have observed significant changes (compared to the previous case studies for 2015 NFHS survey data where any older MPI computing methods were used) in the counts and ratios across India’s different states, caste groups, religious groups. The paper also looks for a method to extend the MPI counting from household level to individual level. The exploratory analysis wrt almost all possible diverse indicators of deprivation across different religions, caste groups, states and other demographic groups, is another key research aspect of this paper with the motivation to make the results easily interpretable and reusable even outside the scope of MPI construction.  It’s certain that the poverty level in India is not same for different demographic groups. This paper implements statistical tools such as Multiple Regression and Principal Component Analysis to assess the significance of the findings from the exploratory studies. &nbsp

    Quantum Conversation

This article is a sequel to the paper published earlier entitled (A new approach to gauge theory and variational principal). It is assumed that atoms are engaged in a perpetual conversation called Quantum Conversation, and the behavior of an atom varies based on the syntax, and the tonality, derived from the spectral terms. Accepting this premise, it is then explored how to identify Quantum Conversation, (QC). QuantumConversation could be identied through looking at atom from a fresh point of view. Mainly this includes re-interpreting spin, and split identied by the spectral terms which is the other behavioral characteristic of quantum particles. Split is dened both as the change in the orbit level, and the division of an atom into smaller elements. Spin, and split change as a result of Q.C. Q.C. has two major elements, 1) syntax, and 2) tonality.Given the dynamics and the diverse nature of syntax combined with tonality, it makes it possible to imagine and analyze a great number of scenarios for the behavior of the elements of an atom that would not bepossible to observe through laboratory experiments. This would open the door to a deeper understanding of the life of an atom

The Effect of Design Management Capability on Product Innovation for SMEs in Indonesia

Small, and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) are the backbone of the national economy. The increase in the number of SMEs in Indonesia must be accompanied by an increase in product innovation performance. Innovating products means contributing to the creation of competitive advantage, increased efficiency, and increased competitiveness, thus helping to ensure future performance. Bringing innovation to MSME products requires an effort to present creative visualization activities of concepts, plans, and ideas, represented in sketches and provide instructions on making something that does not yet exist, or so-called design management capability. This research investigated the extent to which the influence of the design management capability of MSME activists in Indonesia could contribute to presenting innovative products. This research provided a novelty to the construction of design management capability that combined the dimensions of previous research. The data collection method employed a questionnaire, with 360 respondents selected through the purposive sampling technique. Using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with AMOS 24 tool, the results of this study indicated that design management capability had a significant effect on product innovatio

Investigating the Determinants of Productivity Growth of The Small Scale Garment Industrial Cluster In Aba, Nigeria.

Classical agglomeration theory posits that production is facilitated when there is a clustering of economic activities. Although, the theory failed to explain which of the economic activity will lead to the formation of the cluster, the theory also failed to explain what determines productivity growth in such a cluster. Hence this study investigates the determinants of industrial cluster productivity growth in the production activity using the small scale garment industrial cluster in Aba, Nigeria. This study employed the questionnaire for its data collection from a sample of 300 small scale garment operators in Aba. The Multi-criteria Decision Analysis (MCDA) and simple percentage statistics were used for the analysis. The study found the major determinants of productivity growth of the small scale garment industrial cluster in Aba to include; small market for the products, high competition from imported foreign goods, low quality of products, tax policy, multiplicity of taxes, levies and other rates, and high rate of infrastructural decay. Based on the findings of this study, we recommend that government should prioritize industrial cluster development in its development policies through improving her tax policies. Flexible trade regulations and infrastructural development should be embarked on for industrial sector productivity growth

An Application Of Maximal Numerical Range On Norm Of Basic Elementary Operator In Tensor Product

Many researchers in operator theory have attempted to determine the relationship between the norm of basic elementary operator and the norms of its coefficient operators. Various results have been obtained using varied approaches. In this paper, we attempt this problem by the use of the Stampfli’s maximal numerical range in a tensor product

Graph Applications Using Graphviz in Drainage System: The Case in Madiun City, Indonesia

There is a need for a drainage system in an area so that the potential for inundation or flooding during rainfall can be predicted to enable anticipatory steps to be taken. One way to present the drainage system is to use graphs. A graph is defined as a set of pairs (, ), which in this case is a finite non-empty set whose elements are called vertices and is a set (possibly empty) of unsorted pairs connecting a pair of vertices called sides. In this study, a drainage system in Madiun City, Indonesia, will be presented in a graph using the Graphviz application. Graphviz is software that can be used to create a visualization of structured data such as network images

This paper elucidates the control limits for size biased Maxwell distribution for different sample size(s) with fixed scale parameter. The performance of the control chart observed through the average run length (ARL). The propose control limits, size biased Maxwell (SBMW), compare with existing Maxwell Distribution with same parameter setting and found majority of times better in performance as compare to existing control chart

REMITTANCE INCOME: IMPLICATIONS FOR HOUSEHOLD WELFARE IN A DEVELOPING ECONOMY

Scholars have emphasized the antecedent role of remittance income on household welfare. The existent literature on remittance and household welfare has however presented mixed findings with other revealing no relation while others otherwise. There is dearth of knowledge regarding remittances in emerging economies. The current study seeks to establish the influence remittances on household welfare using a sample derived from households in Uganda which is a developing economy. The study adopted a panel design using data from 2013 to 2020 obtained from Uganda Bureau of statistics. The study findings reveal that remittance income enhances household welfare. Specifically, remittances enhance the consumption expenditure as well as reducing the poverty of the households. The study shapes the directional strategies by government economists to come up with the relevant measures to improve both internal and external remittances so as to reduce household poverty and enhance the household expenditure to spur economic growth and development. The study used a panel design with time gaps because there wasn't enough data. As a result, time series data may be used in future studies to better understand long-term relationships
