    Evaluasi Penyimpanan Spermatozoa Ayam Pada Suhu 5â°C, 26â°C Dengan Pengencer Infuse NaCl, Glukosa 5% dan 10%

    The purpose of this study were to compare the quality of spermatozoa stored at 26â°C, 5â°C using diluents of NaCl, 10% glucose and 5% glucose. The spermatozoa of a rooster was collected and divided into 6 parts, each 2 tubes diluted in a ratio of 1:1 using NaCl, Glucose5% and Glucose 10%, then each 3 tubes with different diluents were stored at 26â°C and 5â°C. Observations of motility, viability and abnormalities of spermatozoa were carried out half an hour, 1 hour after dilution, followed every 2 hours until the ninth hours. The results showed that spermatozoa stored for 9 hours at a temperature of 26â°C with a physiological diluent of NaCl, 10% Glucose and 5% Glucose each were different (P, < 0.05) with motility 50 ± 0.0%, 42 ± 10.95. % and 34±8.94%, respectively. At storage temperature of 5â°C for 9 hours, physiological NaCl, 10% glucose and 5% glucose were significantly different (P<0.05) with motility 58.00±10.95%, 46.00±8.94% and 38.00±, respectively. 10.95% in a row. The viability of spermatozoa at 26â°C storage with 5% glucose diluent was better than 10% glucose and physiological NaCl (P<0.05), 58.93±1.27%, 42.93±1.48% and 33.43±1.27% , while the physiological NaCl diluent and 10% glucose were not significantly different (P>0.05). At 5â°C storage the viability of spermatozoa in the three diluents was not significantly different, with values of Glucose 10%, Glucose 5% and physiological NaCl 52.57±5.15%, 52.21±5.02% and 48.14±8.09%, respectively. Spermatozoa abnormalities at storage temperature 26â°C and 5â°C for 9 hours using physiological NaCl diluent, 5% glucose and 10% glucose, were not significantly different and varied between 5 to 10%.     Currently, there are many efficient and effective sprinkler irrigation tools on the market, so it is necessary to be careful in choosing for irrigation. Among them, the Meganet 24D Netafim, including the type of irrigation tool, which still needs testing to know its performance. This study aims to examine the sprinkler irrigation performance of Meganet 24D Netafim, on variations in flow rate and distance between sprinklers, related to irrigation uniformity (CU) and irrigation radius (Rn). This test was carried out on an area of about 1 acre, at a flow rate of Q1=0.42/sec, Q2=0.51 l/sec, Q3=0.52/sec, Q4=0.56 and the test sprinkler distance, r1=2 ,5m, r2=3m,r3 = 3.5m and r4 = 4m. The results of data analysis are presented in the form of tables and graphs and concluded descriptively. The results showed that, in all variations of Q and sprinkler spacing r1, r2, r3 obtained irrigation uniformity (CU) above 85% which was classified as high, while in the r4, Q1 and Q2 tests, CU was obtained below 85% which was considered low. All discharge variations, showing irrigation radius (R) about 5 m. So at r4 sprinkler spacing, it is not recommended in irrigation applications

    One of the obstacles in increasing maize production in Indonesia is the low efficiency of fertilizer use by plants as a result of low levels of organic matter in the soil. Although it only occupies a portion of approximately 2-10%, the role played by organic matter in the soil is very large, both in physical, chemical and biological aspects. One of the practical and efficient alternatives to increase organic matter in the soil is through the management of cover crops (TPT). In this study, individually or after being combined into one, three types of TPT were stocked before the harvest of the predecessor plant (rice). As a comparison, plots without TPT were also provided. Rice litter together with TPT biomass from each TPT treatment was returned to the soil after rice was harvested in a separate plot pattern. In each TPT treatment plot, fertilization treatments were made with a dose of 0 kg/ha NPK, 100 kg/ha NPK, 200 kg/ha NPK and 300 kg/ha NPK. The experimental results showed that TPT biomass had a positive impact on increasing the growth and yield of sweet corn on vertisol soils. Provision of cover crops in the form of a mixture of cowpea, mung bean and krotalaria tended to have a better effect than individual administration. From the results of this experiment, it is also known that the provision of precursor plant biomass combined with TPT biomass can reduce the use of chemical fertilizers by 50-60% of the maximum plant requirement. Â

    through the development of carbon zinc as an organic material produced from photosynthesis and stored and transported in the form of seagrass vegetation biomass. Seagrass is one of the aquatic vegetation that is able to absorb and store carbon. Seagrasses have the ability to absorb carbon through the process of photosynthesis. The purpose of this study was to describe the potential carbon content of seagrass species in the South Coastal Waters of East Lombok. This type of research is an expolarative descriptive research. The research method is a quadratic transect method. The population of this study were all seagrass species contained in 3 research stations. The collected data was then analyzed using analysis of seagrass species composition, seagrass cover, seagrass density, diversity, uniformity, dominance and analysis of carbon content through seagrass stand biomass (leaves, rhizomes/stems and roots). The result of this research is the discovery of 9 species of seagrass on Lungkak Beach and 5 species of seagrass on Gili Kere and Poton Bakau. The species density in the three study sites ranged from 0.09 to 56.91 stands/m2. Seagrass biomass values ranged from 1.47-261.9 gbk/m2 and total carbon content ranged from 295.91±202.88 gC. The value of this biomass and carbon content was dominated by seagrass species with large morphology such as Enhalus acroides, Thalasia hemprici, Cymodocea rotundata, and Cymodocea cerillata and high density and cover values of seagrass. The relationship between seagrass cover and seagrass carbon has a significant relationship where the higher the seagrass cover, the higher the carbon content of the seagrass

    Carrot is one of the vegetables that people like because it has many health benefits related to the content of B vitamins, vitamin C, and other substances, thereby increasing the need or demand, but not in line with the increase in the production of this plant. One of the efforts to increase production is through area expansion, and the lowlands are the target of its development. This study aims to determine the growth and yield of carrots grown in the lowlands by applying rice straw mulch. This research was conducted in a rice field area, in Bagek Polak Village, West Lombok Regency, West Nusa Tenggara with an altitude of 26 m above sea level in July-October 2020. The field experiment with the experimental method was designed according to a Randomized Block Design with one factor, namely the thickness of rice straw mulch. (m0 = no straw mulch; m1 = 1 layer mulch thickness; m2 = 2 layers mulch thickness; m3 = 3 layers mulch thickness; m4 = 4 layers mulch thickness) was repeated four times so that there were 20 experimental units. The results showed that rice straw mulch had a significant effect on the growth and yield of carrots in the lowlands. The use of 4 layers of rice straw mulch was could increase the growth and yield of carrots by 2647.75 gr/m2 or the equivalent of 21,182 tons/ha. layer; expansion; production; vegetables; tuber

    Agricultural development with horticultural crops on dry land is one of the government's efforts to increase dry land productivity so that new paddy fields are created in the Bayan area. Noting that land infiltration capability and its classification are important factors needed in irrigation planning to support the development of horticultural agriculture, so it is necessary to conduct field research on this matter. This study aims to determine the characteristics and classification of land infiltration and determine the trend of irrigation that can be applied. Field infiltration tests were carried out in Anyar and Sukadana villages with 4 test points each. The infiltration rate test in the field was carried out using a double ring infiltrometer and a soil test at the Geotechnical Laboratory, Faculty of Engineering, Unram. Analysis of the data used Horton's formula as a comparison and the results of the analysis were presented in the form of tables and graphs, conclusions were made descriptively. The results showed that the average infiltration rate in Anyar Village was at point 1 = 26.90 cm/hour, point 2 = 14.94 cm/hour, point 3 = 27.33 cm/hour, and point 4 = 8.21 cm/hour with soil including sandy clay. Infiltration rate classification of points 1 and 3 is very fast, point 2 is fast and location 4 is rather fast. For Sukadana Village the infiltration rate was obtained at point 1 = 43.52 cm/hour, point 2 = 36.67 cm/hour, point 3 = 12.86 cm/hour, and point 4 = 10.97 cm/hour, with the condition sandy clay soil. Sukadana's infiltration rate classification points 1 and 2 are very fast and points 3 and 4 are rather fast.     Experimental research aimed to determine the effect of the addition of oyster mushrooms on the chemical composition and organoleptic value of broiler chicken meatballs. The research was corried out for 4 months from July to October 2020. The making of broiler chicken meatballs and organoleptics tests was carried out at the Laboratory of the Faculty of Animal Science UNW Mataram and chemical composition analysis was carried out at the INMT Laboratory of Mataram University. The research design used was a completely randomized design with 4 treatments, namely the addition of oyster mushrooms as much as 0%, 10%, 20% and 30% of the weight of chicken meat and each treatment there were 5 replications. The data from the research on the chemical composition of chicken meatballs were analyzed using variant analysis and continued with the LSD test and the organoleptic values were obtained using a hedonic scale from 30 panelists who were somewhat trained as replication, then analyzed using the Friedman Test. The analysis of variance result showed that the addition of oyster mushrooms in broiler’s chicken meatball dough had a very significant effect (P >0.01) on the value of chemical composition, namely moisture, ash, fat, fiber and protein content and had a significant effect (P>0.05) organoleptic values are colour preference, taste and aceeptance of meatballs, but it has no significant effect (P< 0.05) on the preference for aroma and texture of meatballs. The formulation of addition oyster mushrooms to broiler chicken meatballs based on the chemical composition value is the addition of 10% oyster mushrooms containing the highest protein of 8.51±0.014%, when compared to the addition of mushroom addition 0%, 20% and 30% and has met Indonesian National Standard for combination meatball and can be recomended for as nutritional terapy in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic. Based on the organoleptic value, the formulation of broiler chicken meatballs with the addition of oyster mushrooms as much as 30% can provide higher organoleptic (colour, taste and acceptability) when compared to the addition of 0%, 10% and 20%

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui nilai kandungan mineral, karakteristik sifat listrik, konstanta dielektrik pasir besi serta mengetahui kualitas air sungai Pohgading desa Pohgading kecamatan Pringgabaya kabupaten Lombok Timur. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu metode deskriptif kuantitatif. Sintesis nanopartikel pasir besi yang diambil dari jarak 2 meter, 4 meter, 6 meter, 8 meter, dan 10 meter disintesis menggunakan metode kopresipitasi. Setiap sampel kemudian di AAS untuk mengetahui berapa persen (%)   andungan mineral pasir besi. Dari hasil penelitian diperoleh nilai kandungan mineral pasir besi sungai Pohgading tersebar merata ditiap jarak pengambilan yakni 0,0172%, 0,0171%, 0,0172%, 0,0172%, 0,0172%. Pengukuran sifat listrik pasir besi sungai Pohgading menggunakan metode empat titik probe untuk menentukan resistivitas pasir besi dan plat sejajar untuk menentukan konstanta dielektrik. Resistivitas pasir besi sungai mengalami peningkatan ditiap-tiap jarak, pada jarak 2 meter sampai  jarak 10 meter diperoleh 1,1 x 103Ωm sampai 1,7 x 103Ωm. Begitupun dengan nilai konstanta dielektrik, dimana pada jarak 2meter sampai 10 meter diperoleh 1,7 x 104F sampai 3,5 x 104F. Untuk kualitas air sungai dapat diketahui melalui analisis PH, suhu, konduktivitas dan TDS air. Sebelum dicampur dengan nanopartikel pasir besi PH air, suhu air, konduktivitas air dan TDS air diperoleh sebesar 5,95, 28,5°C, 640μS/cm, dan 370 ppm. Setelah dicampurkan nilai PH meningkat ditiap-tiap jarak pengambilan, pada jarak 2 meter sampai 10 meter diperoleh sebesar 5,97 sampai 6,00. Sedangkan suhu, konduktivitas dan TDS air sungai semakin rendah

    High input of chemical fertilizer causes land degradation on agriculture. This research is experimental which aims to analyze degree of acidity and macro-nutrients in mussel shell, and analyze chemical properties of soil before and after application of mussel shell suplement. The research was conducted during July to September 2020 at BPTP Laboratory, Narmada West Lombok. Data were analyzed descriptively. The results showed that mussel shell (Pilsbryocomcha excilis) had pH and macro-nutrients potential as an ecofertilizer.     The food industry is one of the commodities that always grows and develops in line with the increasing needs and demands of the market. The growth in demand for fermented foods in the market is due in part to the increased interest in healthy food and the awareness of consumers' perceptions that fermentation is a naturally beneficial process. The ferementation process is inseparable from the role of probiotic microorganisms, bioactive compounds, and micronutrients produced through microbial action. This literature review study aims to analyze the role of probiotics in the fermentation of typical foods in Java, which have the potential to act as an immune regulatory system. The results of a literature study on various kinds of fermented specialties in Java and the manufacturing process show that the microbes that play a role in food fermentation consist of mold and bacteria. These microbes have the potential as an immune regulatory system. Â
