Learning Mathematics Using a Collaborative RME Approach in the Indoor and Outdoor Classrooms to Improve Students' Mathematical Connection Ability
Get PDFTeaching approach applied by mathematics teacher can affect students' mathematical connection ability (MCA). The fact shows that there are still many teachers using conventional learning, causing passive students and low MCA among students. The purpose of this study was to describe the effectiveness of applying a collaborative realistic mathematics education (RME) approach using the classroom and the outdoor environment to improve students' MCA on the topic of similar triangles. This quasi-experimental research with a qualitative descriptive approach took the subject of ninth-grade students at a public junior high school in Jember, Indonesia. Data were collected using observation sheets, questionnaires, tests, and interviews. The data were analyzed using the effectiveness test (N-gain score). The results showed that the application of collaborative RME using the indoor and outdoor classrooms made students more active in physical, social, and mental activities. This learning is effective in improving students' MCA. The average score of 57.47 in the pre-test increased to 93.88 in the post-test, and the N-gain score was 0.86. Mathematics teachers are advised to apply this learning approach, not only on the topic of similarity triangles, but also on other suitable topics
Problem-solving Approach and Its Impact on Creative Thinking Ability of Prospective Mathematics Teachers
Get PDFThis study aims to investigate the implementation of a problem-solving approach and its corresponding impact on the creative thinking ability of prospective mathematics teachers. A qualitative case study approach was used in this study in the form of observations of learning and teaching processes for geometry topics through the use of a problem-solving approach and of a written test involving 20 prospective mathematics teachers, in one of the state universities in Bandung, Indonesia. The results showed that the implemented problem-solving approach influenced prospective mathematics teachers’ creative thinking in solving problems. The use of different strategies showed prospective teachers’ creative thinking ability in problem-solving processes. The effect of the problem-solving approach on prospective mathematics teachers can be investigated further to obtain a more comprehensive understanding of creative thinking ability
UNREVALING SHARIA COMPLIANCE
Get PDFThis study is aimed at obtaining an in-depth explanation and understanding of the phenomenon of sharia compliance in an Islamic financial institution, Baitul Maal wat Tamwil (BMT) from the point of view of the members of BMT under LKSI group. The Rational Choice Theory and Bounded Rationality Theory are the two theories that used as an interpretation anchor and applied for analyzing the data. Sharia compliance of BMT members of the LKSI is reflected in every contract given to BMT clients/customers supported by regular training on the understanding of Islamic compliance on an ongoing basis. The activities are carried out with in considerations of two things, namely sharia and business science. Rational thinking based on the adherence to the religious values is an important basis in the formation of BMTs.
DETERMINAN INTENSI MENJADI WHISTLEBLOWING DENGAN PERLINDUNGAN HUKUM SEBAGAI VARIABEL MODERASI
Get PDFThis study aims to examine the influence of organizational commitment, personal cost of reporting and moral intensity to whistleblowing intention with legal protection as moderating variabel. The sample used in this study is all employees who work in Bank Perkreditan Rakyat Riau Province. Collecting data of this study using a questionnaire submitted to 135 employees who work on Bank Perkreditan Rakyat Riau Province. From questionnaires distributed, 90 questionnaires can be completed and can be processed. The data analysis method used was multiple linear regression and moderated regression analysis (MRA), as well as data processing using SPSS software version 25. The results ofthe study with multiple linear regression analysis showed that organizational commitment, personal cost of reporting and moral intensity had a significant to whistleblowing intention. The analysis of the moderating variable shows that legal protection is only able to moderate the personal cost of reporting and is not able to moderate organizational commitment and moral intensity on the intensity of whistleblowin
Investigating the Impact of Indonesia-Turkey CEPA and Factors influencing Indonesian Export Performance
Get PDFThe Indonesia-Turkey Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (IT-CEPA) is not solely about a trade agreement between the two countries but is a partnership and collaboration so that the people of the two countries can benefit from bilateral cooperation. This study aims to investigate the impact of IT-CEPA, foreign direct investment (FDI), inflation, natural resource rents, and government effectiveness on Indonesian exports to Turkey. The approach in this study applies a linear regression model from 2000-2020 sourced from the World Bank and The Observatory of Economic Complexity (OEC). The findings of this study indicate that foreign direct investment and government effectiveness have a positive sign and have a significant effect on Indonesian exports to Turkey. Meanwhile, IT-CEPA has a negative and significant sign on Indonesian exports to Turkey. However, inflation and natural resource rents do not have a significant effect on Indonesia's exports to Turkey. The implication of this study is that policy makers must pay attention to governance related to the implementation of economic partnership agreements between Indonesia and trading partner countries, especially in increasing Indonesia's exports to trading partner countries

Hal ini tidak terlepas dari kebutuhan dunia industri terhadap tenaga kerja dengan kompetensi tersebut. Keterampilan abad 21 yang harus dimiliki peserta didik adalah kemampuan untuk belajar, belajar intelektual, berpikir kritis dan sistematik, melek informasi dan media, hubungan antar pribadi dan kerjasama, menemukan ide dan menemukan solusi, bimbingan, dan tanggung jawab sosial.Peserta didik berlatih budaya kerja yang baik agar berjalan dengan efisien dan optimal. Budaya kerja yang terkenal yaitu 5S (Seiri, Seiton, Seiso, Seiketsu, dan Shitsuke). Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menilai penilaian pengembangan budaya kerja kejuruan peserta didik SMK . Instrumen penelitian menggunakan kuesioner melalui formulir google untuk guru produktif teknologi di SMK untuk memvalidasi instrumen dan mengetahui keterlaksanaan budaya kerja peserta didik SMK . S ebagai data kualitatif dilaksanakan dengan FGD ( Forum Group Discussion ) terhadap guru produktif teknologi SMK.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa instrumen penilaian budaya kerja 5S memperoleh tinggi pada reliabilitas (0,7 93 ) dan validitas konten. Selanjutnya tingkat keterlaksanaan budaya kerja peserta didik SMK sudah berjalan dengan sangat baik. Kata kunci : Kajian Budaya Kerja, Praktik Kejuruan, Peserta Didik SM
Pengaruh Temperatur Media Pendingin Pada Pengelasan SMAW Terhadap Nilai Kekerasan dan Perubahan Struktur Mikro Baja Karbon Rendah
No full textPengelasan merupakan proses penyambungan dua buah baja atau lebih. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh temperatur media pendingin yang digunakan pada proses pendinginan baja karbon rendah pasca pengelasan terhadap nilai kekerasan dan perubahan struktur mikro. Temperatur yang digunakan yaitu 70°C, 80°C, 100°C dengan pengujian kekerasan vickers beban 20 kgf dan metallografi. Peneliti menggunakan media pendingin oli tanpa pemanasan, dan suhu ruang sebagai pembanding, sehingga melalui penelitian ini didapatkan hasil yang berbeda-beda yaitu nilai kekerasan spesimen non media 108,494 VHN, oli tanpa pemanasan 107, 189 VHN, oli 70°C 111,791 VHN, oli 80°C 111,497 VHN, oli 100°C 107,176 VHN, dan perubahan struktur mikro pada 3 (tiga) daerah pengelasan yaitu logam induk menghasilkan struktur butir ferit dan perlit yang jarang, HAZ menghasilkan struktur butir ferit dan perlit yang rapat, logam las menghasilkan struktur butir ferit acicular dan perlit yang halus dan rapat.Kata kunci: Pengelasan, Pendinginan, Kekerasan, Struktur Mikr
PENINGKATAN PENGETAHUAN MASYARAKAT DESA PULAU SEMAMBU INDERALAYA TENTANG PENYAKIT HIPERTENSI SEBAGAI KOMORBID COVID-19 PADA MASA PANDEMI DAN SITUASI NORMAL BARU
Get PDFPenularan COVID-19 di Indonesia masih mengalami tren peningkatan jumlah kasus. Hipertensi merupakan salah satu penyakit komorbid (penyerta) yang dapat meningkatkan resiko morbiditas dan mortalitas apabila terserang COVID-19. Berdasarkan data Kementerian Kesehatan tanggal 22 Agustus 2020, pasien COVID-19 komorbid hipertensi menduduki posisi pertama pasien terkonfirmasi positif dan meninggal akibat COVID-19. Oleh karena itu pasien hipertensi perlu perhatian lebih lanjut dalam meningkatkan kualitas hidup di masa pandemi dan normal baru ini. Hipertensi merupakan pembunuh diam-diam. Individu yang terserang biasanya tidak mengetahui bahwa tekanan darahnya sudah meningkat. Dan ini menjadi salah satu yang terjadi di Desa Pulau Semambu. Bentuk kegiatan ini adalah penyuluhan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan tentang penyakit hipertensi sebagai komorbid COVID-19 pada masa pandemi dan situasi normal baru bagi masyarakat desa Pulau Semambu Inderalaya. Selain itu diberikan juga penyuluhan tentang tumbuhan yang berkhasiat sebagai antihipertensi. Sasaran dari kegiatan ini yaitu masyarakat di Pulau Semambu, Inderalaya, Ogan Ilir Sumatera Selatan sebanyak 25 orang. Pulau Semambu adalah kelurahan cukup dekat lokasinya dari UNSRI yang menjadi perhatian masyarakat terhadap partisipasi UNSRI. No full textAmbiguitas nama penulis atau author name ambiguity sering kali menjadi masalah yang dapat mempengaruhi kualitas layanan database bibliografi. Untuk mengatasi masalah ambiguitas nama penulis maka diciptakanlah disambiguasi nama penulis atau author name disambiguation. Metode yang digunakan dalam author name disambiguation umumnya menangani masalah ambiguitas nama penulis dengan pendekatan author matching, classification, dan clustering. Beberapa penelitian menggabungkan beberapa pendekatan seperti menggunakan author matching classifier berbasis algoritma random forest untuk pairwise classification dan algoritma DBSCAN sebagai algoritma clustering namun masih belum mendapatkan hasil atau performa yang optimal. Pada penelitian ini dibangun sebuah model author matching classifier berbasis deep neural network yang kemudian diimplementasikan dalam algoritma clustering DBSCAN. Berdasarkan percobaan yang dilakukan menggunakan dataset The Giles, model author matching cassifier berbasis deep neural network yang kami usulkan dapat menghasilkan performa sebesar 95.99% untuk pairwise classification dan 97.23% untuk clustering

This research produces a website. the website that has been built can help customers to transact and increase sales at Nisa Florist Palembang. With a CRM-based website with an up-selling strategy, it can increase revenue at Nisa Florist
