Възрожденското културно-историческо наследство на Велико Търново в историческата литература (историографски очерк)
Get PDFНастоящата статия представлява опит за проучване на многообразните изследвания и публикувани резултати, които са в обръщение в научно–изследователските среди по отношение на възрожденското културно–историческо наследство на град Велико Търново. Следвайки утвърдените периоди в развитието на историографията, но и с добавяне на последните 20 години, част от новия 21 век, се класифицират и обобщават насоките и целите на научните търсения, чиито обект са различни по своите характеристики културно–исторически ценности. Велико Търново притежава градска територия, която се отличава с висока концентрация на "памет" и личности с бележит характер. Градът има водеща роля в национално–освободителното движение, в борбите за църковната ни независимост, отбелязва бурно развитие в стопанско–търговско отношение, предоставя поле за творчески архитектурни решения, и най–важното – тук е мястото, където се провежда Учредителното събрание, утвърдило първата българска конституция. Всички тези предпоставки стоят в основата на същността и функциите на наследството за формирането на идентичности и памет, за устойчиво културно и икономическо развитие, за бъдещото образование и национално самоопределяне.The recent report presents an attempt for study of the numerous research works and published results, which are in circulation throughout the scientific and research circles in relevance with the cultural and historical heritage of Veliko Tarnovo city from Revival period. Following the already recognized periods in the development of historiography science, and also adding the last 20 years, part of the new 21st century, the scopes and aims of the scientific research, whose object are different in their characteristics cultural and historical values, are classified and summarized. Veliko Tarnovo has a city territory, distinctive with its concentration of memory and eminent personalities. It has a leading role in the national movement for liberation, in the fights for clerical independence, marks a rapid development in economic and commercial sphere, presents a field for creative architectural decisions, and the most important – this is the place, where the Constituent assembly has been pursued, confirming the first Bulgarian Constitution. All these prerequisites lay onto the base of essence and functions of the heritage for setting identities and memory, for sustainable cultural and economic development, for future education and national self-determination

Направен е опит да се проследи краткото му пътуване от пълна неизвестност до популярна туристическа дестинация, сцена с различни атракции и местна културна ценност. Туристическите посещения несъмнено оживяват тракийското светилище. Въпросът е дали всяка атракция го превръща в "живо културно наследство".The article presents one of the most interesting archaeological sites in the Burgas region - the Thracian sanctuary Begliktash near the town of Primorsko. It was discovered by archaeologists only in the early 21st century. An attempt was made to trace his short journey from complete obscurity to a popular tourist destination, a scene of various attractions and local cultural value. Tourist visits undoubtedly enliven the Thracian sanctuary. The issue is whether each attraction turns it into a "living cultural heritage"
Improving the Productivity of the E-learning Process
Get PDFThe e-Learning systems have become extremely popular over the last decade. Moreover, not a long time ago they were considered as an alternative way of representing learning content. However, suddenly due to the COVID-19 pandemic they turned out to be the only possible option for keeping the learning process uninterrupted. This makes any research on possible ways of optimizing the presented learning content and its better absorption by the learners, as this paper, extremely important. The paper considers the possibilities for improving the productivity of the e-Learning process in four main areas: (1) reusability of learning content; (2) personalized representation of learning content; (3) proper identification of participants in an e-Learning process; (4) opportunities for easy scaling of learning environments. As a result of the research, a set of methods and models for creating personalized learning materials has been developed. The learning materials are aligned to the learner's preferred learning style and created from a thematicoriented content. All the conceptual models were then implemented into a software environment, which provides an opportunity for their validation and verification and assessment of their effectiveness. The research also presents a so-called "concept for software scaling" from the perspective of an e-Learning environment and a novel software architecture to be used as a base of a system implementation
Изследване на приложението на нови математически методи за анализ на кардиологични данни
Get PDFThe article shows the results of the implementation of the first stage of the project "Study of the application of new mathematical methods for analysis of cardiac data", funded by the Research Fund. The results are related to the creation of a portable information system for individual monitoring of the cardiovascular system, which includes a portable device for recording photoplethysmographic (PPG) signals and software for processing, mathematical analysis and assessment of heart rate variability. An important advantage of the portable device is the ability to constantly monitor and record the functioning and parameters of the cardiovascular system of the individual. This allows more accurate diagnosis of patients in different life situations in normal life, which is based on subsequent scientific analysis of the registered cardiac information through developed specialized software using linear and nonlinear mathematical methods. The article also shows the results for validation of the created new device, by means of an experimental scheme with which electrocardiographic (ECG) and PPG signals are registered simultaneously. The obtained two types of signals are compared in terms of the accuracy parameter of the registered signals. The results show that the two types of registered signals are identical; therefore the developed portable device can be used as an alternative to the currently widely used ECG and Holter devices.Научното изследване е проведено като част от проекта „Изследване на приложението на нови математически методи за анализ на кардиологични данни“ по договор № КП-06-Н22/5 от 07.12.2018 г., финансиран от Фонд „Научни Изследвания“

Get PDFThis article discusses ideas and concepts for preserving cultural folklore traditions and customs accumulated in the past by many generations. Many new challenges and new knowledge have emerged in the modern technological society, but they must not lead to the loss and neglect of old national traditions and living cultural heritage.
Definitions, classifications, overview of types of folklore events are presented. Some innovative approaches for preservation, study and sharing of knowledge about living heritage through national and international folklore championships and folklore festivals, digital transformation of folk music and dance are considered. Knowledge is exchanged between participants of different ages, cultures and professions. In this way, continuous education in the field of living heritage, internationalization, lifelong learning is realized.
An online information system has been created for organizing and storing knowledge about living heritage through competitive folklore events and festivals. The information structure of a software system is built on 7 levels. With the help of the created software environment, national championships and other events around the world are staged

Постмодерният туристически опит в организация и изследвания обхваща обширно пространство от местното до глобалното, от материалното до незримото, от забравеното до живото наследство, от устойчивото до динамичното, от субективното до общовалидното, общоприетото и общочовешкото в религиозната култура и ежедневния живот. Трансмисията на традиционни ценности и ритуали, както и актуализацията на културни практики, базови за религиите, вероизповеданията и общностите биха била невъзможна без сакралните топоси като фокус на туристически интерес, човекопоток и динамична експлоатация на обекти и без развитието на рефлексията на тези процеси. С оглед на съобразяването на религиозни и граждански права, мотивации, интереси и нагласи за устойчиво развитие и престижна идентичност, не по-малко важни от ценностите на демократично обществено съзнание, геополитически, национален и етнически баланс, са възможностите на обществените науки и структури за оптимални социални политики и грижи, насочени към цялото разнообразие от неравнопоставености.Contemporary practices of recreational and confessional travel and visit of sacred sites of various denominations focus multitude of orientations and attitudes regarding religious cultural heritage. Postmodern tourist experience of organisation and research encompasses wide space from local to global, from material to invisible, form forgotten to live heritage, and from sustainable to dynamic, from subjective to generally valid, acknowledged, and human in religious culture and everyday life. Transmission of traditional values and rituals, as well as actualisation of cultural practices basic for religions, confessions, and their communities would be impossible without sacral topoi as a focus of tourist interests, flow of people and dynamic site exploitation, and without development of the reflection on those processes. In regard of adjustment of religious and civic rights, motivations, interests and attitudes for sustainable development and representative identity, not only values of democratic social awareness, geopolitical, national, or ethnic balance are important, but as well the potential of social studies and structures to maintain optimal social policies and care addressing whole variety of uneven statuses
Teaching Programming Through The "Modular Arithmetic" Math Project
Get PDFProject-based approach was integrated into the Computer science programme at New Bulgarian University to enhance the learning process for first year students. A multidisciplinary project based on main concepts of Programming and Discrete mathematics was designed and developed. The concepts and relations between them were presented by concepts maps and the tasks were ordered according to revised Bloom's taxonomy. So it became possible to evaluate the cognitive learning levels of the students from simple remembering of information to analyzing and creating, to improve the self-learning skills, the ability to search for new information, working in teams and communication skills. The students had the opportunity to apply algorithms related to different data structures, memory and time optimisation that are used in the business and to integrate different programming technologies in a project

Эргономика в органно-фортепианной клавиатуре аккордеона
Get PDFВ статье выявлены пути усовершенствования заимствованной в аккордеон органно-фортепианной клавиатуры согласно эргономическим критериям системы «человек-машина». Показаны соответствующие преобразования клавиатуры с целью расширения информационных каналов для достижения критериев существующей парадигмы и улучшения художественно-выразительных условий реализации артикуляционных алгоритмов в звукоизвлечении. После создания разновидности органно-фортепианной клавиатуры – клавиатуры системы Кравцова – обозначена их генетическая общность в сохранении музыкального наследия прошлых эпох и соответствия современным запросам аккордеонной культуры.The article identifies ways to improve the organ-piano keyboard borrowed into the accordion according to the ergonomic criteria of the “man-machine” system. The corresponding keyboard transformations are shown in order to expand the information channels to achieve the criteria of the existing paradigm and improve the artistic and expressive conditions for the implementation of articulation algorithms in sound extraction. After creating the variety of the organ-piano keyboard - the keyboard of the Kravtsov system - their genetic community in preserving the musical heritage of past eras and matching modern demands of the accordion culture is indicated
