Optimization of Containers for the HPC Cluster „Nestum“

implementable in HPC (High Performance Computing) environments. Containers are based on
existing kernel features and allow for better user control for their application. The main problem
that arises when considering containerization in HPC is a loss of performance. Having that in
mind, we found the Singularity container architecture is outperforming the Docker container.
Even though the work was done in relation to the cluster Nestum http://hpc-lab.sofiatech.bg/ ,

Get PDFThe report presents the results of mathematical analyzes of patients with heart failure, ischemic heart disease and a healthy control group. The studies were performed in the time and frequency domains, using linear methods on the heart rate variability of real holter records. The system consists of five modules: interface, stereoscopic visualization, stereometry, learning module and module for testing students' knowledge. The proposed system allows students to construct, observe and manipulate geometric shapes in space. Get PDFВ доклада се представят възможности за съхраняване на тракийското културно наследство, свързано с Долината на тракийските владетели чрез използване на възможностите на новите технологии. Представят се резултати от изследване на процесите, свързани със социализацията на музейните обекти, които имат важно значение за развитието на културата и туризма в Казанлъшкия регион и необходимостта от въвеждане на практики за привличането на различни видове музейна публика. Установени са положителни практики в посока на прилагането на съвременни информационни и комуникационни технологии, отнасящи се до представяне и промотиране на тракийското културно наследство, подобряване на обслужването и насърчаване на посещаемостта на музейните обекти от Долината на тракийските царе, чрез отделянето на специално внимание върху осигуряването на интелектуален достъп до всички тях и приложение на съвременните ИКТ. Изведени са перспективи за съхраняване и популяризиране на тракийското културно наследство, свързано с Долината на тракийските владетели, сред които осигуряването на интелектуален достъп до музейните обекти от Казанлъшкия регион. На базата на контент анализ на документи и медийни публикации е установено прилагането на практики, предоставящи възможности за нововъведения, интерактивни форми, виртуални разходки, използване на технологични решения с виртуална и смесена реалност и други иновации, свързани със съвременните ИКТ в музеите.The paper presents opportunities to preserve the Thracian cultural heritage associated with the Thracian Valley , using the potencial of new technologies. The results of the study of the process are presented, related to the socialization of the museum sites, who are important for the development of the culture and tourism in the Kazanlak region and the need to introduce practices to attract different types of museum audiences. Positive practices have been identified towards the application of modern information and communication technologies, relating to presentation and promotion of the Thracian cultural heritage and improving the service that promotes the visitation of museum sites from the Valley of the Thracian Kings by paying special attention to providing intellectual access to all of them and the application of modern ICT.Prospects for preservation and promotion of the Thracian cultural heritage related to the Valley of Thracian rulers are presented, among them providing intellectual access to museum sites from the Kazanlak region and applying practices that provide opportunities for innovations, interactive forms, virtual walks, use of technological walks, virtual and mixed reality solutions and other innovations related to contemporary ICT in museums

Get PDFThe rapid development of science, as well as changes in lifestyle, lead to the fact that the current methods of scientific work are becoming increasingly ineffective. The paper in question analyzes specific reasons why things are not good to continue in the current way, which is basically a very slightly changed medieval model. Since the times today are fundamentally different than then, it is good to update the ways of carrying out scientific activity. In addition to a theoretical analysis of the problems, the paper also considers specific projects that are directly related to the way science develops. The presentation is based on the author's experience related to a specific scientific field (mathematics, part number theory and combinatorics) and the proposals do not apply to science in general, but are rather suitable for the exact sciences and especially for mathematics
Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures from Emails
No full textOntologies are used for knowledge management, concept definition and semantic search. Ontology is applicable to the organization and management of knowledge in a single given domain. This paper is an attempt to construct a knowledge base for email vulnerabilities using ontologies. It presents a method of building relations among CVEs email entries as established by the MITRE Corporation’s weaknesses data base. The use of ontology is illustrated with queries analyzing software products from a security manager's point of view. This work is based on the MITRE community effort CWE List, Version 3.1—Research concept view CWE-1000
