Analisis Pemanfaatan E-book Sebagai Bahan Penunjang Pembelajaran Oleh Pengguna Perpustakaan SMAN 1 Kedungwaru Tulungagung
Get PDFCurrent technological advances lead us to rapid development. One of the developments that occurred was in the library. The information needs of library users are facilitated by the existence of e-books which can be used as learning support. . E-books are library materials in digital form which are considered as library materials that can be accessed whenever and wherever we need them. This research was conducted to find out how the use of e-book library materials as a support for learning at SMAN 1 Kedungwaru. The research method used in this study is qualitative and presented in a descriptive form using observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis was carried out by collecting data, reducing data, presenting data, and drawing conclusions/verification. The results of the study show that students at SMAN 1 Kedungwaru have used e-books as a learning support. They use e-books as reading material to add insight. This is considered a practical matter to obtain learning materials, especially during a pandemic. The existence of this e-book also has a big influence on student academic achievement. E-books are also considered to make it easier for students to fulfill academic information. The results of this study also show that there are still students who have not been able to make full use of e-books. What\u27s more, the collections provided are still limited, so students choose to look for library materials in physical form. However, librarians try their best to add library materials and carry out promotions so that students can make the most of e-books. E-book library materials can be put to good use and are also effective in utilizing the facilities provided. The e-book is used as a reference in supporting the learning process. The suggestion of this research is the need for encouragement or motivation so that users can make the most of e-books

Tujuan dari dilakukannya penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah Perpustakaan Pitimoss ini telah menerapkan fungsi manajemen dengan baik dan tepat sesuai aturan Lembaga perpustakaan sebagaimanan mestinya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Penelitian ini fokus pada pemahaman mendalam tentang karakteristik, aspek-aspek, konteks, dan makna dari fenomena yang diteliti. Hasil dari penelitian deskriptif kualitatif disajikan dalam bentuk laporan penelitian yang berisi narasi dan interpretasi mengenai temuan-temuan yang ditemukan selama proses penelitian. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah Perpustakaan Pitimoss belum sepenuhnya menerapkan fungsi manajemen menurut George Robert Terry dengan baik. The Increasing of Employee Retention in The Hotel Industry: Diagnosing the Effect of Work-Life Balance
Get PDFPurpose: This paper investigates the influence of job engagement and work-life balance on increasing employee retention in the Hotel Industry.
Method: The study used quantitative research with a causal associative approach. The population in this study was 63 employees of Natra Bintan Resort. 40 respondents were successfully collected using simple random sampling techniques. Data was obtained through a structured questionnaire and supplemented with a desk review of the literature. The proposed model is analyzed through the Smart PLSS assessment.
Result: The result of this study found that there is a significant influence on the significant work engagement path. Meanwhile, there is an insignificant influence of the work-life balance path on employee retention. Job engagement and work-life balance are predictors of employee retention in the hospitality industry.
Contribution: The contribution of this study is manifestly found as a significantly increasing employee retention which will give a big impact on the Hotel Industry. The company is expected to pay attention to the relationship between employees and superiors about work-life balance and job engagement and employees get complete information about the requirements for occupying a position. The theoretical contribution of this research lies in its exploration of the influences of work-life balance and job engagement on employee retention within the hotel industry. Analyzing Vietnam’s textile garment global supply chain with the Revealed Comparative Advantage
Get PDFPurpose — This paper aims to calculate and analyze the Revealed Comparative Advantage index (RCA) of Vietnam’s textile garment industry in the global supply chain by comparing it to other countries, thereby suggesting appropriate solutions.Method — The research uses the calculation method of Revealed Comparative Advantage - RCA. RCA brings up an efficient method to analyze a nation’s comparative advantage based on actual export activity data that were extracted from the TRADEMAP platform.Result — Although Vietnam has many advantages and strong features, the RCA index (1.93) in this study shows that Vietnam\u27s total textile garment supply chain ranks fifth on a worldwide scale, following Bangladesh (10.54), Turkey (3.81), China (2.55), and India. (2.47). The raw materials (RCA 1.65) and fabric production (RCA 1.29) phases are extremely weak, ranking sixth and fourth in the world, respectively. Making garments is the best, ranking third globally and with an RCA of 3.4.Contribution — This research validates the usefulness and feasibility of the RCA calculation approach for analyzing the comparative advantages of Vietnam\u27s textile garment supply chain, which has never been used previously. The research measured and quantified the benefits of Vietnam\u27s textile garment supply chain in order to compare other rivals visibly, so readers can clearly grasp where Vietnam stands on the global textile garment supply chain
Factors affecting customer loyalty in the logistics service industry: A mediating effect of customer satisfaction
Get PDFPurpose — This study aims to analyze the effect of service quality and customer experience on customer loyalty in the logistics service industry, with customer satisfaction as a mediating factor.Method — This research employed a quantitative approach, focusing on the JNE customers residing in Sarirogo Village as the targeted population. To ensure a representative sample, purposive sampling technique was utilized, resulting in a sample size of 100 respondents. The assessment of the external model\u27s validity and dependability was conducted through the application of SmartPLS. The hypotheses were then tested utilizing the model output obtained from SmartPLS..Result — The findings of this research indicate that service quality significantly contributes to enhancing customer satisfaction. Additionally, the study demonstrates a positive association between customer experience and customer satisfaction. Moreover, customer satisfaction plays a crucial role in fostering customer loyalty. However, it is important to note that service quality and customer experience do not directly impact customer loyalty in this study\u27s results. Interestingly, when examining the relationship between service quality and customer loyalty, it becomes evident that customer satisfaction acts as a mediator, effectively influencing the connection between the two factors in a positive manner. Similarly, in the case of the relationship between customer experience and customer loyalty, customer satisfaction also acts as a mediating variable, playing a positive role in linking the independent variable to the dependent variable.Contribution — This study contributes by revealing the impact of service quality and customer experience on customer loyalty mediated by customer satisfaction within the logistics service industry
Determinants of repurchase intention in the Indonesian e-commerce platforms
Get PDFPurpose — This study aims to investigate the influence of e-service quality, customer trust, and customer satisfaction on repurchase intention in the Indonesian e-commerce platforms.Method — The type of research used is causal research, which examines the relationship between variables through quantitative research. The number of samples in this study was 250 respondents. The sample for this research includes Indonesian citizens aged more than 17 years old, who are users of the Tokopedia, Shopee, and Lazada platforms on their smartphones. This study uses primary data filled out by respondents through Google Forms and focuses on research variables, which include e-service quality, customer trust, customer satisfaction, and repurchase intention. The data that have been obtained were analyzed using the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) technique.Result — The results of this study indicate that e-service quality has a significant positive effect on customer trust and customer satisfaction. In addition, the relationship between customer trust and customer satisfaction on repurchase intention also has a significant positive influence.Contribution — This study offers a valuable academic contribution by enhancing and advancing theories associated with repurchase intention within the context of e-commerce platforms in Indonesia. Furthermore, this study addresses a significant gap in the existing literature by explicitly defining the scope and object of investigation, thereby refining the clarity and comprehensiveness of the research landscape
Exploring the role of the digital economy in supporting the growth of the halal Small and Medium-sized Enterprise (SME) sector
Get PDFPurpose — In light of Malang City\u27s significant Muslim community and increased digital technology adoption during the COVID-19 pandemic, this study explores the impact of digital platforms on micro and small businesses.Method — This research employs a descriptive quantitative approach, combining a literature review with questionnaire-based primary data collection. The gathered data is subsequently analyzed.Result — Utilizing the smart PLS 3 application, we find that two of the three latent variables significantly influence variable Y. Specifically, Perceived Usefulness (represented by X1) and Perceived Ease of Use (represented by X3) have a notable impact on Y. This impact is reflected in the increased total transactions facilitated by micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) through the use of digital economic tools.Contribution — This research introduces a unique perspective by highlighting how digital platforms support the halal industry. The integration of digital innovation requires alignment with the needs and scale of MSMEs. While these innovations offer significant advantages, MSMEs must also address technical challenges, data security concerns, and potential shifts in business practices resulting from the adoption of new technologies
Diversification, risk, and performance: Do the type of family and state ownership matter?
Get PDFPurpose — This study aims to examine the roles of the ultimate owners, i.e., family and state, as moderating factors on the relationships between bank diversification, risk, and performance. To capture different aspects of diversification, we consider bank income, loan, deposit, and asset diversifications.Method — The data analysis technique employed in this research is multiple regression in the form of pooled regression. The data were sourced from the financial statements of 53 banks in Indonesia. It is worth noting that the data used in this study comprise panel data, which combines time series and cross-sectional data. This utilization of panel data serves to increase the depth of observation in the research.Result — Income diversification provides benefits to banks in the form of risk reduction and performance improvement. On the other hand, loan, deposit, and asset diversifications have a negative impact on banks by enhancing risks and degrading performance. Furthermore, ownership of the bank by the family and the state negatively impacts income diversification, possibly due to the lack of ultimate expertise, which results in limitations in transferable skills. In contrast, ownership of the bank by the family can weaken the positive effects of loans and assets.Contribution — This study provides significant insights into the development of banking research, offering a more comprehensive measure of diversification in terms of income, loans, deposits, and assets. Moreover, this study measures bank ownership through ultimate ownership, which can reveal the actual ownership of the bank
Lifestyle, product diversity, and product quality on repurchase intention: Empirical research on western skincare
Get PDFPurpose — The objective of this research is to examine how lifestyle, product diversity, and product quality influence repurchase intention, as well as to investigate whether customer satisfaction can serve as a mediator.Method — The data collection method utilized an online questionnaire with a total of 224 respondents, aged at least 16 years old, who are users of the Shopee application and consumers of the Western skincare brand (Cerave), and have made purchases of the Western skincare brand (Cerave) on Shopee. Respondents were selected using a purposeful sampling method. Structural Equational Modeling (SEM) with the AMOS 24 tool was employed for data analysis.Result — The findings of this research indicate that lifestyle, product diversity, and product excellence have a positive and significant impact on repurchase intention. Customer satisfaction also demonstrates a positive and significant effect on repurchase intention, effectively mediating the relationships between lifestyle, product diversity, and product quality on repurchase intention.Novelty — This study focuses on a Western skincare brand as the subject of research, as such brands have received limited attention in prior research. Impact of Russian Stock Exchange on world oil prices with US dollar as the mediating variable
Get PDFPurpose — The purpose of this study is to analyze the impact of Russian Stock Exchange (IMOEX) on world oil prices (WTI), with the US Dollar variable serving as a mediating factor in the exchange rate between the US Dollar and the Russian currency (Ruble).Method — The research employs an associative causality research approach for data analysis. Path analysis techniques are utilized to examine the nexus between Russian Stock Exchange (IMOEX) and world oil prices with the US dollar serves as intervening variables. The study relies on secondary data collected on a weekly basis over a two-year period, specifically from 2021 to 2022. A total of 96 sample data points were gathered from various sources, including the internet, papers, books, and other references that support the research.Result — The findings indicate a significant positive impact of the Russian Stock Exchange (IMOEX) on the US Dollar/Rubles exchange rate. However, the US Dollar variable does not have a direct effect on world oil prices. Additionally, the Russian Stock Exchange (IMOEX), when mediated by the US Dollar, does not show any significant impact on the world oil price of WTI.Novelty — To the best of our knowledge, no studies were identified that employed the US Dollar as a mediating variable in the Ruble/USD exchange rate. This study introduces a novel aspect by incorporating this mediating variable into the analysis
