Aktualisasi Etika Kepemimpinan Jawa dalam Asthabrata
No full textNama Asthabrata sangat populer dalam kehidupan masyarakat Jawa karena sering muncul dalarn pagelaran wayang purwa. Ajaran Asthabrata mendapat apresiasi yang sangat luas oleh masyarakat Indonesia karena memuat ajaran kepemimpinan yang dapat dijadikan aspirasi bagi semua pihak yang sedang dan akan mengabdikan hidupnya bagi bangsa dan negara. Asthabrata merupakan kreativitas pujangga Jawa karena tidak dikcnal dalam Ramayana India (baru muncul dalam Ramayana Kakawin), Semua Asthabrata menampilkan figur pemimpin dalam sosok delapan dewa. Dalam perkernbangan lebih lanjut, budayawan Jawa memilih menampilkan figur pemimpin itu dalam sifat-sifat benda alam, yakni bumi, matahari, bulan, bintang, laut, angin, dan awan. Penampilan figur pernimpin dalam sifat benda-benda alam tersebut lebih netral sebagai pilihan cerdas pujangga Jawa.
Abstract:
The name of Asthabrata is very popular among Javanese live because of its frequent appearance in the wayang purwa performance. Asthabrata teachings have got a wide appreciation from Indonesian people because it carries leadership teachings which can be an aspiration to everyone who is dedicating and will dedicate their lives to their nation and country. Asthabrata is the creativity of the Javanese men of letters for not discovered in Indian's Ramayana (not until Ramayana Kakawin). All Asthabrata present a leader figure in the characters of eight gods. In further progress, Javanese culture vultures chose to present the leader figure in the characters of natural objects. namely earth, Sun, moon, star, ocean, wind, and cloud. The performance of a leader figure in the characters of the natural objects is more neutral as a smart choice of Javanese man of letters. "

No full textTulisan ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan pola pencapaian kesadaran tokoh utama perempuan tertindas dalam novel Far from the Madding Crowd karya Thomas Hardy dan The Tenant of Wildfell Hall karya Anne Bronte dengan pendekatan feminis. Tokoh utama bemama Bathsheba dalam Far From the Madding Crowd, sadar bahwa hidupnya berada dalam lingkungan patriarkal dan tertindas oleh dominasi laki-laki ketika ditinggal pcrgi suaminya Meskipun akhimya mcnikah dengan laki-laki yang dianggap lebih mencintainya, Bathsheba tetap berada pada posisi tersubordinasi oleh laki-laki. Kesadaran tokoh utama perempuan bemama Helen pada posisinya yang tertindas oleh laki-laki dan lingkungan patriarki dalam The Tenant of Wildfell Hall muncul saat mengetahui perselingkuhan suaminya. Agar dapat hidup bebas dan mandiri, Helen melarikan diri dari suaminya. Pilihan Anne Bronte pada solusi menuju zona liar untuk membebaskan perempuan dari ketertindasan menunjukkan konsistcnsinya sebagai perempuan pengarang, sedangkan laki-laki pengarang (Thomas Hardy) memilih menempatkan tokoh perempuannya tetap bertahan dalam komunitasnya
Abstract:
This article aims to describe the awareness achievement pattern of the female main character being oppressed in Thomas Hardy's novel, Far From the Madding Crowd and Anne Bronte's novel. The Tenant of Wildfell Hall, by means of feminism approach. The main character in Far From the Madding Crowd, Bathsheba, realized that her life is in patriarchal surroundings and being oppressed by male domination when she was left by her husband. Although, she eventually got married to a man loving her more. Bathsheba is still in the position of subordinated by a male. The awareness of female character named Helen, in her position of being oppressed by male and patriarchal surroundings in The Tenant of Wildfell Hall, emerged when she found her husband adultery. To live free and liberated, Helen ran away from her husband. Anne Bronte's choice to a solution heading for the wild zone in Liberating women from oppression indicates her consistency as an author female; whereas. author male (Thomas Hanly) chose to set his female character to persist with her community.

The main reason of Irina internal conflict emergence is the surrounding reaction on her physical defect. Her success is achieved through her struggle in exploring her surround. The discussion of the main character's internal conflicts and struggle is using Alfred Adler's individual psychology theory/approach. That way, Ranggawarsita can put the Javanese values correlated with Islamic theory in order. Ranggawarsita has a deep understanding toward Javanese and Islamic culture that are expressed in his works, such as Serat Kalatidha, Serat Supanalaya, and Sera/Wedharaga. No full text"The Alchemist" composition of Paulo Coelho is a novel of world class (winner nobel) that is translated from Spain (0 Alquimista) to various languages, including English and Indonesian. The translation of Indonesian, carried out by Tanti Lesmana (publisher Gramedia), has been considered good enough and used as items of lecturing of art in various college. Its content is wide enough. Besides depicting real fact live with creative touch of his author, it is loaded with various social messages which are so meaningful. At least, there are three important aspects drawn uppermostly in the novel: aspect of representational, diskursif, and philosophy. The author presents various facts of life and historical-geographical reality (aspect representational). For movement of especial figure and develop; build story so that draw used by various strategy, for example occult signal, third person help, and the symbolism (aspect diskursif). And most important is presenting of various human drama which can be taken by its benefit of both for positive and or the negativity (philosophy aspect)
