Adolescents who have healthy eating habits have a lower percentage of overweight and obesity (18,9%). Meanwhile, adolescents with unhealthy eating habits had a relatively higher incidence of overweight and obesity (24,1%).Conclusion: Adolescents whose eating habits are unhealthy have a relatively high incidence of overweight and obesity compared to adolescents who have healthy eating patterns.
Studi korelasi tubex positif dengan indeks eritrosit pada penderita demam tifoid di RSUD Aceh Tahun 2023
Background: Diagnosis of typhoid fever can be done by tubex examination. Hematological changes occur in typhoid fever due to bone marrow suppression. The patient's hemoglobin decreased slowly to the point of anemia. Erythrocyte indices, namely mean corpuscular volume (MCV), mean corpuscular hemoglobin (MCH) and mean corpuscular hemoglobin concentration (MCHC), are used to classify anemia. Objectives: To determine the correlation between the degree of tubex positivity and the erythrocyte index in patients suffering from typhoid fever at the Aceh Regional General Hospital in 2023.Methods: Observational analytic with cross-sectional design. The sampling method was purposive sampling, inclusion criteria: respondents who underwent tubex examination and erythrocyte index. The research data is secondary data from regional general hospital medical record. Results: Based on Spearman's correlation, MCV has a very weak relationship with a positive patterned correlation, and MCHC has a very weak relationship with a negative patterned correlation where MCHC values decrease with an increase in the degree of tubex positivity. Conclusion: Typhoid fever sufferers may experience changes in the size of their erythrocytes to become larger, even though typhoid fever sufferers do not experience anemia. The relationship between breakfast habits and nutritional status of adolescent girls: A Cross-sectional study in Tasikmalaya
Many adolescents in developing countries have a poor breakfast habit. Poor nutritional status is thought to occur due to poor breakfast habits. This study aimed to analyze the relationship between breakfast habits and nutritional status in female adolescents using the BAZ approach. This was an observational study that used a cross-sectional approach. Three hundred and thirty-six (366) participants were selected from seven State Junior High Schools in Tasikmalaya using the proportional random sampling method. This study was conducted between August and October 2023. Nutritional status was measured using the body mass index-age-Z score (BAZ), and breakfast habits were assessed using a structured questionnaire. Multiple linear regression modeling with a significance of p<0,05 was used for data analysis. From 366 participants, the average frequency of breakfast was 3,4 ± 2,5 times/weeks, with an average BAZ of -0,08 ± 1,2 SD. Breakfast habits were related to nutritional status using BAZ (p=0,031. This study concluded that the frequency of breakfast consumption in a week is negatively related to nutritional status based on BAZ in female adolescents. Therefore, they need to be encouraged to eat breakfast and determine the reasons why they skip breakfast.

Pendampingan siswa sadar gizi dalam upaya pencegahan kurang gizi pada anak sekolah di MIN 8 Aceh Besar
School children (AS) are one of the groups that are vulnerable to nutritional and health disorders. Balanced nutrition is needed in the process of child growth and development, improving good learning abilities, and providing a positive impact on their development in the future. The prevalence of children aged 6-12 years in Indonesia who are underweight (wasting) and very underweight using the BMI/U indicator is 7.6% and 4.6%. One of these nutritional problems can be caused by low nutrient intake both in the past and in the present. This community service activity is to increase school children's knowledge about nutrition and health in an effort to prevent and overcome malnutrition in school children. The selection of school nutrition cadres (KGS) was carried out as role models for healthy school children and had the task of assisting school teachers in implementing TBAS measurements. Providing nutrition education is done through lectures and questions and answers, the media used are power points and leaflets. Knowledge of nutrition and health of school children is assessed before and after providing nutrition education. In this activity, TBAS measurements were carried out. Results: Before being given nutrition education, most of the nutritional and health knowledge of school children was low (76,5%), most of the AS did not eat breakfast (38,2%). The results of the TBAS measurement were partly short, namely boys by 51,3% and girls by 27,1%. Conclusion: There was an increase in student knowledge after being given nutrition education by 34,4%
