This is largely due to their ease of use provided by robust interoperability and feasibility in almost any scenario. Internet of Things (IoT) can be a great tool to achieve this goal of connecting people and devices everywhere all the time. IoT is a network of various types of devices connected together to seamlessly data transfer without any computer or human interaction. IoT can be defined as a network consisting of many small sensor nodes whose main purpose is to collect data from surrounding environment and then forward to the base station. Firstly, we develop a theoretical model of physical layer of Wireless Sensor Network (WSN). Next, we derive the energy efficiency expression and solve the optimization problem of energy efficiency under the constraint of Packet Reception Rate (PRR). Two application perspective of IoT such as biomedical and smart home appliance has been proposed. Modeling of WSN using MATLAB to perform simulation of real human body have been analyzed. A model of smart juice maker has also proposed here which can be controlled from mobile apps.Md. Monwar Jahan ChowdhuryMd. Fazlul Haque Jesan.Md. Saiful Islam MilonB. Women experience a serious phase of vulnerability during that period. Though postpartum depression has been found to have an effect on a large number of women after child delivery in developing countries, no authentic estimation to understand the immensity of this disorder in Bangladesh. Women in our country might not speak out but this does not excuse the actual fact that the surrounding system is not ready to concentrate on this matter yet. Additionally, most of us do not acknowledge the symptoms and ignore it as a negligible matter. The aim of this study was to elucidate the current scenario of this disorder in Bangladesh, compare the severity of postpartum depression among housewives and working women while determining the existence of different support groups that might play a significant role to overcome this issue.Shanta IslamB. This thesis is submitted in partial fulfilment of the requirements for the degree of Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, 2018.Catalogued from PDF version of thesis.Includes bibliographical references( page 48-52).Base Transceiver Station is considered as the heart of mobile telecommunication system. Millions of phone calls, SMS and enormous number of data is being sent and received in every second through these BTS all over the world. Therefore, BTS are the devices which need to run 24/7 without being disturbed by any sort of electric crisis or shortage. Bangladesh is not fully compatible to meet the growing electricity demand of the whole country. Although it varies from day to day, on an average we predicted there are two hours of load shedding period in every distribution line of entire country. Therefore, it requires 24/7 electricity supply to all the BTS of all operators. Our concern is during the off grid period. It is found that all the operators use diesel generators for the off grid time. Our target is to compare the feasibility of using alternative power sources to minimize the cost of the system, minimizing carbon emission and reducing the dependency on the fossil fuel. Firstly, we have analyzed the previous and recent data of diesel, solar and fuel cell power sources. A new we model is proposed to combine the sources with backup of diesel generator which can minimize the cost and fulfill our target. We also analyzed the future of carbon emission which our proposed model can reduce after a certain period of years.Md. Pavel MahbubSyed Minhajul AbedinSarwar Ali ArmanMd. Mahmudur RahmanB. This thesis is submitted in partial fulfilment of the requirements for the degree of Bachelor of Science in Biotechnology, 2018.Cataloged from PDF version of thesis.Includes bibliographical references (page 35-38).It has been well known for many years that silver Nanoparticles (NPs) are toxic to microorganism and can potentially kill them. They can also provide solution to different technological and environmental problems such as energy conversation, tailor-made medicine, cancer treatment, waste water treatment etc. Nanoparticles can be synthesized in many different ways such as physical and various other chemical methods. These methods are expensive and use many different toxic substances which make them difficult to scale these methods for mass production. In recent years it has been found that plant molecules can perform the same reduction reactions necessary for the production of nanoparticles but in a much more efficient way. Here, green chemistry were employed for the synthesis of silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) using leaf extracts of Cymbopogon citratus (Lemon Grass). Effects of different parameters such as temperature, pH and volume of plant extract were also tested using their absorbance pattern at different wavelengths. The total formation of the AgNPs was observed visually with a color change from yellow to brownish-black. UV-visible spectroscopy was used to monitor the quantitative formation of silver nanoparticles which showed a signature peak in absorbance between 400 and 500 nm. Changing different parameters had a significant effect on the size and position of the peak which also made an impact on the pattern of the curve, signifying the formation of nanoparticles of various shapes and sizes. The nanoparticles showed enhanced antibacterial activity against selected bacterial strains which analyzed based on the zone of inhibition (ZOI) and minimal inhibitory concentration (MIC).Mohammed Nimeree MuntasirB.
