Each year these road accidents
led to many deaths, fatal injuries and economic losses all over the world. One of the major
reasons of these accidents is the drowsiness of drivers. Thus, it is necessary to develop a
method to detect the driver’s drowsiness to reduce the accident rates. This paper describes a
research and project development to detect the drowsiness of drivers. A device was
developed that uses two methods to detect the drowsiness. One method was to use the heart
beat sensor to check if the heartbeat lies within the threshold value range. The other method
was to detect the eye blinking using image processing to check the eyelid’s position. The
output of both the methods is given as input to the Raspberry Pi. The output from the device
is connected to a buzzer that buzzes if the device detects that the driver is drowsy. The final

Real time online multiplayer gaming framework using kinect sensors

The proposed model is composed of multiple Microsoft Kinect sensors and
Unity 3D game development tool. The motive is to make a real time
multiplayer game that uses user's movement data as it's input through Kinect
and build a gameplay around this concept. This type of project has not been
attempted especially on windows platform and most Xbox multiplayer game
only uses leaderboard as a way to connect multiple players. The game will be
played solely by the interaction of players in real time even though they are
apart. At first a skeleton of 25 bone joints has been made and make character
models around it. And then detect user through Kinect and sync user's body
with our model. This means now our character will move when user moves
using the tracking data provided by Kinect sensor. A game environment for
our game has been made and place user character in a specific spawn place.
The process allows player characters to interact with each other within the
virtual world. This whole process needs a server to perform and the server will
have to manipulate data efficiently to allow player's a smooth gameplay

Non-performing loan factor analysis of Southeast Bank Limited
No full textThis internship report is submitted in a partial fulfillment of the requirements for the degree of Bachelor of Business Administration, 2018.The Internship report has been prepared on “Non-performing loans of Southeast Bank Ltd.” based on secondary data and information. The information has been collected from different sources, such as the annual reports, various websites like Dhaka Tribune, Financial Express and different journals. Nonperforming loans is common phenomena for banking industry in Bangladesh. A Non-performing loan is a loan that is in default or close to being in default. Many loans become non-performing after being in default for 90 days, but this can depend on the contract terms. NPLs started at the early stage of liberation. During 1980s and 1990s, Privatization and liberalization of banking sector could not control NPLs. Rate of NPLs was 41.1% in 1999. Now it is 11.90%.The amount of NPLs increased to taka 73.3 billion in 2012 from taka 47.3 billion in 2003.There are many reasons behind the NPLs in Bangladesh. First reason is entrepreneurs related. Borrower need experience, need trade and organization training background or need of supporting office. At some point borrowers do it intentionally. Business people age too is a vital factor. There are certain other reasons behind this. Secondly strong competition from other firms in the same industry leads to a loan default situation. If the management system of the firm is poor, than it’s hard to manage the cash flow and loan repayments. Then comes poor financial performance, along with it comes poor cash flow which leads to a loan being a default. Business could be defaulter because of low market share. Low market share mean low revenue so that business cannot pay the interest payment. Third reason is leading related. It is mainly Bank’s fault. Loan could be default if Bank delayed assessment of loan proposal, delayed disbursement of fund, lack of proper monitoring, lack of taking proper action. Last reason is macroeconomic factors. Low GDP growth, increasing crimes, hartals and frequent policy change effect loan. For those reasons loans become default loan. Effects of NPL are such as Stopping Money Cycling, Earning Reduction, Capital Erosion, Increase in Loan Pricing, Frustration etc. As a result, the values of security are increased and the risks of financial recession also see a rise.
There may be more private financial institution in Bangladesh and that is why opposition is very high. So it will become a assignment for SEBL to retain its existing clients .there's a desire that, SEBL is usually very conscious about its consumer banking and always try and make trade with time need to modernize its products and services
Determination of transfer of Azithromycin resistance gene though Conjugation, among Enterobacteriaceae, isolated from Urinary Tract Infected patients
No full textThis thesis report is submitted in partial fulfilment of the requirement for the degree of B.Sc in Microbiology, 2018.Catalogued from PDF version of thesis report.Includes bibliographical references (pages 35-39).Urinary Tract Infections (UTI) are a predominant bacterial infection caused by pathogens that are resistant to a long list of antibiotics and the greater challenge nowadays is to stop the spread of resistance to them. This study aimed to determine whether resistance to the macrolide—Azithromycin was plasmid mediated and could be transferred via conjugation to the neighboring UTI Enterobacteriaceae. In this study, a total of 28 identified isolates obtained from UTI patients of a Diagnostic Center in Bangladesh were investigated, that contained 22 (78%) organisms from the Enterobacteriaceae family and 6 (21%) organisms from the gram-positive genus. Minimum Inhibitory Concentration (MIC) carried out by the agar dilution method revealed that the Enterobacteriaceae had MIC values of ≥200μg/ml against Azithromycin in 77.3% (17 out of 22) of the organisms and ≥50μg/ml against Ciprofloxacin in 63.3% (14 out of 22) isolates. Plasmid profile showed that 40.9% (9 out of 22) harbored one or more plasmids of sizes ranging from ~2 MDa to ~85 MDa. Based on the antibiotic sensitivity patterns and plasmid profiling, donor and recipient strains were selected for the conjugation experiments carried out in three different methods. In this study, Enterobater spp were selected as donor strains that had high resistance to Azithromycin (MIC: ≥200μg/ml) and contained 2 plasmids (~85 MDa, ~35.6 MDa). On the other hand, plasmid-less, Azithromycin sensitive (MIC: 10μg/ml) Klebsiella spp was selected as a recipient strain for conjugation. Ciprofloxacin was used as a marker to check for the presence of transconjugants. The results revealed that, no transconjugant was observed from the three conjugation assays. Donor strains were then subjected to a plasmid curing procedure with different concentrations of Ethidium Bromide (EtBr) ranging from 1-100μg/ml and 2-20% Sodium Dodecyl Sulfate (SDS). Among the two Enterobacter donor strains used in the study, EtBr successfully cured both plasmids in one strain, whereas the other donor still retained one plasmid after treatment with both reagents. Evaluation of MIC of the cured donors showed the same resistance pattern to Azithromycin (MIC: ≥200μg/ml) proving that the gene responsible for this resistance was not plasmid mediated and hence could not be transferred by conjugation to the recipient Klebsiella. The results of this study indicate that resistance to Azithromycin may not be transferred from Enterobacter species, although this study was only conducted with in-vitro techniques.Sharika FerdousB. The role of classroom interaction in improving learners speaking skills: a case study of private universities

It focuses on the development of speaking skills that comes from the proper utilization of classroom interaction by teachers’. Classroom interaction is always popular among teachers’ but it is less due to lack of following proper classroom interaction system which interrupts speaking skills. A convergent mixed method design was used for the research where both quantitative (students’ survey) and qualitative (teachers’ interview and classroom observation) data were collected. Results show that both students’ and teachers’ are aware of classroom interaction but the actual classroom interaction is less because of teachers’ monopolizing the talk time and learners’ getting less talk time with controlled activity. The study also expose that students’ only respond for teachers’ asking the question but in initiation period they talk more. However, this proves that learners’-learners’ interaction is more beneficial than teacher-learners’ interaction. So, teachers’ need to increase learners’-learners’ interaction by giving them more talk time for conducting communicative activities. This case study suggests that teacher should follow learners’ interaction seriously by giving students’ additional talk time for improving their speaking skills.Tanzila AfrinM. in TESO
