    This internship report is submitted in partial fulfillment of the requirements for the degree of Masters of Business Administration, 2018.Catalogued from PDF version of internship report.Includes bibliographical references (page 86).This is the internship report based on the three-month long internship program that I had successfully completed in Infrasturcture Investment Facilitation Company (IIFC), which was truly a good starting in the path of once career. IIFC is deeply involved especially, Public-Private Partnership (PPP) in port, power, energy, economic zones, roads, etc. IIFC is also involved in capacity building, institutional reforms, impact assessment, performance management system, monitoring & evaluation of projects etc. with a proven track record. During my internship period, I was assigned to work in the project of BAPEX, which helped me to gain huge knowledge on organogram, job descriptions, of an organization. This report includes the brief introduction of BAPEX, their existing and proposed job descriptions, organogram and whole operation system and proposed features to develop their different sectors. Bangladesh Petroleum Exploration and Production Company Limited (BAPEX) was established in 1989 as the national exploration company by abolishing the Exploration Directorate of Petrobangla with a view to accelerating oil and gas exploration activities of the country. BAPEX was transformed into an exploration and production company in 2000 with a view to making it self-reliant. Currently BAPEX is producing approximately 128 mmcfd of natural gas (with negligible amount of liquid) from its seven onshore gas fields (Saldanadi, Fenchuganj, Shahbazpur, Semutang, Shahjadpur-Sundalpur, Srikail and Begumganj) and is contributing significantly towards mitigating the increasing gas demand of the country. Besides, exploration and drilling activities in its awarded areas, BAPEX has also been offering drilling and work-over services to other sister concerns of Petrobangla since the very beginning. Activities of BAPEX can be categorized under 9 (nine) broad categories: • Geological Survey, • 2D & 3D Seismic API, • Drilling and Work-Over Operations • Well services (Well cementing, Mud Engineering, Well Logging, Well Testing) • Laboratory Services • Data Management and Preservation • Production (e.g. Process Engineering, Field Management, Maintenance etc.), • Civil Engineering and, • Joint Venture Co-operation. For performing all the mentioned functions effectively and efficiently, currently there are 14 Divisions, 54 Departments and 111 Sections operating at BAPEX. According to the latest statistics, BAPEX now has around 1015 employees, against approved position of 1866. Out of this total manpower, number of total officer level employees stands at 399 while total number of staffs is 616 including 293 outsourced staff. BAPEX also deploys a significant number of employees on part time, project and contractual basis. While on one hand BAPEX currently suffers from non availability of adequate number of people on roll to undertake different activities of the organization, lack of necessary skills and capabilities of the available manpower is also another important issue affecting performance.Abontee BaruaM. This practice is widespread in diverse countries in Asia and Africa by both the sexes and the different age groups of people. Many women and children who ingest Calabash chalk develop dependency. Many pregnant women take Calabash chalk as a remedy from morning sickness and some people also take it to lessen stomach dressing. However, harmful contents of calabash chalk such as Lead, Aluminum Silicate Hydroxide were found responsible for affecting developing brain of fetus and also, they affect the kidneys, nervous system, and reproductive system. Therefore, the aim of this study is to evaluate the effect of Calabash chalk on the biochemical and histopathological changes in spleen, kidney and liver of second generation Albino Rats. To conduct this study four groups of rats were treated with only water and 0.5ml, 1.0ml and 1.ml dose of Calabash Chalk. After 33 days blood and organ samples were collected for further examination. In this study, although no significant results were found in case of blood parameters, several changes such as possible hepatocellular injury in kidney cells and sinusoidal dilution in liver cells were found in rats due to the treatment with Calabash Chalk. The project is targeting challenging area and working as a supporting tool to those areas to increase numeric distribution as well as to ensure product availability along with minimizing Out of Stock. It is a team consisting Distribution Representatives (DR) to support “Akij Corporation Limited” ACL team to boost up the availability of PM brands. The objective of DR project is to boost up the availability of PM brands & minimize Out of Stock (OOS). PMB assign DRs (Distribution Representative) to potential routes to increase numeric distribution. The project is helping PMB to increase its market share as well as to contribute to enhance numeric distribution. During my internship period, I noticed that this DR tool from PMB have accessed to some of the routes where PMB was not able to enter in the previous years.     Millimetre wave antenna for tracking applications in 60GHz band

    This thesis is submitted in partial fulfilment of the requirements for the degree of Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, 2018.Catalogued from PDF version of thesis.Includes bibliographical references( page 86-90).In this thesis, the design, fabrication, and characterization of a 2 x 8 corporate feed antenna array operating at the 60 GHz band for applications of directional purposes like automated vehicle. To design our desired antenna, we are using Microstrip Patches with feed line and we are working on CST. We are creating an array by square patches with one feed line. To design array we considered about array spacing, impedance matching, length and width of feed line with most importance. We have implemented 2 x 8 element array. We had proceeded step by step by designing and analysing of single patch, 4 element array and 8 element array. Then we implement our proposed design and got the desired result. In all those designs we use Roger5880 substrate. We used square patches in our design and we feed them with quarter wave transformer. All the transmission line bands are 90 degree bands in our design. The array pattern is symmetry of our proposed design. We match our whole design with 50-ohm feedline where input impedance is 86.1-ohm. The main purpose of this thesis is to reduce the complexity of making antenna array of higher number of element. We got our desired result at 59.76 GHz which is in unlicensed band (57-64 GHz) and has a maximum realized directivity is 14.3 dB. The bandwidth is roughly 4.2 GHz, with 61.9 GHz the high end and 57.7 GHz the low end of the frequency band. The antenna design will be fabricated later.Md. Fahim Ur RahmanMd. In this modern era, by the help of technology, large numbers of automated robots are being created but most of the robot is very costly and not suitable enough for Home appliance over the world. The main reason behind this research is to make an artificial robot in very low cost with attractive and essential features. This work proposes an automated robot which is designed with low cost materials and also commonly available in our country. The main goal of the project was achieved to build a robot using low cost material and that could be used for home appliance purpose. Advanced tele operating, operated by an Android operating system, is the main feature of this research. This Robot can navigate through android devices to follow command and move inside the home according to the direction. It can travel to different places and can run comfortably on two motorized wheels and a third back wheel. The robot’s coding platform is C++, which will provide the excellent private transport device. The onboard ArduinoMega control the features of the robot. The robot has four different features which can switch by serial command according to user need. It can be used for security of our house. As like, we can monitor our home from outside. For this report, research was conducted in four serviced offices. Survey was conducted in LOCUS, Shuru Campus, Madhub and Moar. Interviews were then conducted with the founder of LOCUS – Mr. Abir Mallick, the Office Manager of Shuru Campus - Ms. Dil Afroz, the Business Development Executive of Madhub - Mr. Salman Hossain Mimo and the Community Manager of Madhub - Mr. Md. Khairul Alam Rabi. Since I was actually completing my internship at LOCUS, it was possible for me to use their financial data and perform a financial analysis. To compare the financial analysis with other serviced offices, a question was included within the interview so that some idea may be developed. The results from all the research conducted revealed that buzz marketing or word of mouth marketing will eventually play a major role in creating demand for serviced offices within the Bangladeshi market as this industry falls within a niche market. However, innovative promotional stunts and extensive marketing using other methods will speed up buzz marketing so that the market is quickly educated of the concept. For this reason, all serviced offices should follow LOCUS and invest in diverse marketing methods rather than just relying on buzz marketing. In addition to this, all clients expect a productive and professional work environment within their serviced office. Therefore, the most necessary components of a serviced office should be high-speed uninterrupted internet, constant supply of electricity and constant cooling system. LOCUS proved to have constant availability of these features and even have backups just in case. Other serviced offices did not have entirely satisfied clients as did LOCUS. Finally, the financial performance of serviced offices can be optimal if the right level of investment is done while ensuring the right level of service quality and cost reaches the right client with matching requirements. The research revealed that all clients were generally satisfied. Clients willing to pay a little higher for supreme quality were completely satisfied with LOCUS. Conversely, clients willing to spend less were satisfied even though they had faced some disruptions at the other three serviced offices. Besides providing food, this sector has contributions to almost every other sector of a country. According to the Bangladesh Bureau of Statistics (BBS), 2017, about 17 % of the country’s Gross Domestic Product (GDP) is a contribution of the agricultural sector, and it employs more than 45% of the total labor force. In light of the decreasing crop production and shortage of food across the world, one of the crucial criteria of agriculture now-a-days is selecting the right crop for the right piece of land at the right time. Therefore, in our research we have proposed a method which would help suggest the most suitable crop(s) for a specific land based on the analysis of the data of previous years on certain affecting parameters using machine learning. In our work, we have implemented Random Forest Classifier, Gaussian Naïve Bayes, Logistic Regression, Support Vector Machine, k-Nearest Neighbor, and Artificial Neural Network for crop selection. We have trained these algorithms with the training data and later these were tested with test dataset. We then compared the performances of all the tested methods to arrive at the best outcome.
