<Original>The consciousness on body, health and sports activities for female students
Get PDFFemale students today are often reluctant to engage in training programs designed only to promote their health. To make physical educaiotn programs more attractive to young girls, a questionnaire was devised to find out their thinking on the body, health and sports activities. Their average body mass index was 21.2, and only 10% of the students was classified as "obese". However, their responses revealed an alarming inclination to being excessively underweight together with claims of poor physical constitution. Though young female students do not dislike sports, there are few who regularly participate in sports activities. A number of girls were found to be averse to outdoor activities for cosmetic reasons (a dislike of seating and becoming suntanned).論文departmental bulletin pape
<Original>Relationship between visual assessment and instrumental assessment of the change in depth of colour in colour fastness tests
Get PDFColourists visually judge the colour contrast between treated and untreated fabric against the contrasts of the grey scale. A result by the traditional method based on visual assessment varies from observer to observer. In this study, visual assessment was performed by assessing colour depth change of samples prepared systematically. In contrast, instrumental assessment was performed by using 17 formulae. The relationship between visual assessment and instrumental assessment was compared, with following findings. 1. The correlation coefficient between visual assessment and instrumental assessment was improved by using colour fastness formulae rather than colour difference formulae. 2. The correlation coefficient was especially high when using Nc# value and SEK grade. 3. The correlation coefficient between visual and instrumental assessment was high for each colour point except a very pale tone. 4. The correlation coefficient was not good for a very pale tone. 5. The correlation coefficient was good for Purple, but yellow was not good. Green was bad, except for the SEK grade and the ISO grade. 6. In the case of change in depth of colour, the instrumental assessment according the colour fastness formulae was much better, and in the case of change in colour the instrumental assessment according the colour difference formulae was better.論文departmental bulletin pape

In 1994, Japan ratified the Convention on the Rights of the Child. In addition, through amending the Child Welfare Act in 1997, Japan was very keen to guarantee the active rights of the child. However, neither active nor passive rights of the child are guaranteed. In fact, in recent years child abuse has been increasing in Japan. Floristic Inventory of Campus: Use of Media Tool for Biological Information in Environmental Education
No full textＡ botanical survey aimed at compiling ａ checklist of the flora was conducted ｏｎ the campus of Nara Saho Jogakuin College, Nara-city from April 1998 to June 1999. The purpose of the checklist was to document the flora on campus and utilize this biological information using media tools such as a digital camera and ａ computer in ｅnvironmental education of the college. Ａ total of 289 plant species, ｓｕb叩ecies and varieties distributed in 81 families for vascular plants was recorded. In addition, from an ecological viewpoint, the interrelationship between the plants and animals observed on campus will prove valuable in educating students on the importance of the natural environment.論文departmental bulletin pape
Perspective on “Environment” in the Early Childhood Education
No full textThis study is based on a survey of the knowledge of the natural environment of early childhood education majors in college, and questionnaires given to nursery schools ｏｎ the kind of environmental education they provide for children. The results of the nursery school questionnaires showed that the schools carry out field activities for children in earnest and that the children enjoy these activities; however, the ability of the nursery school teachers to educate the students was limited by their lack of first-hand field knowledge of plants and animals. The results of the survey of the early childhood education college majors concluded that field work iｓinvaluable education if the students are to gain an understanding of the natural environment. Both the survey and questionnaires indicate that environｍental education centered around field work is an effective way to give current and future nursery school teachers ａ better understanding of nature and allow them to see things from the viewpoint of the natural environment.論文departmental bulletin pape

No full textThis study analyses transfer observed in the interlanguage of Japanese EFL learners, particularly when they are building subjects in English. It was hypothesized that the Japanese characteristics of subject-building, prodrop and double subject influence English sentences made by Japanese EFL learners and Japanese sentences made by native English･ speaking learners of Japanese. The results of the study hint that prodrop did not transfer into the second language but that the Japanese double subject phenomenon may have transferred and have been the reason that both Japanese and British learners made errors in building subjects in their second language.論文departmental bulletin pape

Politicians use the term in describing their policies in efforts to get voters to elect them. As ａ result of the widespread use of social welfare to cover ａ wide range of situations, the exact meaning of the term has become unclear.
