The Influence of Islamic Leadership Style, Work Discipline, and Work Ability on Employee Performance
Human resources are the assets of every government organization because they can actively implement strategies and act as a means to carry out the tasks and policies implemented. Some factors that can affect good or bad performance are Islamic leadership style, work discipline, and workability, which are independent variables or independent variables in this study. This study uses the associative quantitative research type to measure the influence of Islamic leadership style, work discipline, and workability. The method used is a survey by distributing questionnaires to employees currently working or who have worked at the Benowo sub-district office in Surabaya City by utilizing the non-probability sampling technique of the Quota Sampling Type on 30 employees. The following study results show that the Islamic leadership style variable partially does not affect performance. In contrast, the variable of work discipline is proven to influence performance, and the variable of workability does not affect employee performance
Islamic Education Based on Gender-Responsive Perspective Siti Walidah
This study aims to analyze Siti Walidah's contribution in formulating gender-based education that is just through historical approaches and content analysis of various primary and secondary sources. This study uses a qualitative descriptive research approach to visualize social phenomena, events, and contexts. Research data was obtained through various literature sources by identifying relevant literature, grouping of key themes, and interpretive and reflective in-depth analysis. The results of the study in this study show that Islamic education initiated by Siti Walidah is an instrument of social transformation that forms a more just, civilized, and sustainable social order. Through the Aisyiyah organization, Siti Walidah became a pioneer of the gender-responsive Islamic educational movement by providing equal access to education for women by establishing a women's dormitory (internet) that teaches science, religion, and life skills
Islamic Education Teachers’ Strategies in Instilling the Prophetic Traits to Shape Students’ Character at Smp Islam Srengat
This study aims to analyze the synergistic role between teachers and parents in internalizing the prophetic traits of shiddiq (truthfulness), amanah (trustworthiness), tabligh (effective communication), and fathanah (wisdom) into students’ daily lives. A descriptive qualitative approach was used, with data obtained through in-depth interviews, participant observation, and document analysis. The research participants included Islamic education teachers, school leaders, parents, and students at SMP Islam Srengat. The findings show that the exemplary role of PAI teachers becomes significantly more effective in shaping student character when it is supported by a religious school climate and active parental involvement. This synergy is reflected through consistent communication between school and home, shared role modelling by teachers and parents, and reinforcement of Islamic values through daily practices. However, several obstacles were also identified, such as limited instructional time, the influence of digital media, and low parental engagement in certain cases.
The study highlights the importance of family involvement in Islamic character education and calls for stronger parenting programs rooted in Islamic values. Although limited in scope to a single institution and based solely on qualitative methods, this study offers novelty through its focus on the integration of prophetic traits by both educational agents—teachers and parents—within the context of Generation Z in the digital era. Theoretically, the research contributes to the discourse on Islamic character education by emphasizing collaborative value transmission. Practically, it provides actionable strategies for strengthening school–parent synergy in shaping students’ prophetic character
Analisis Bibliometrik: Zakat dan Pengentasan Kemiskinan
Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi peran zakat dalam pengentasan kemiskinan dengan pendekatan bibliometrik. Desain: Pendekatan ini menggunakan bibliometrik analisis. Pemetaan jaringan penelitian menggunakan perangkat lunak VOSviewer dan RStudio. Database Scopus diambil dari tahun 1991 hingga 2024 dengan mengidentifikasi topik, kata kunci, negara untuk mengetahui tren produktivitas publikasi kajian zakat dan kemiskinan. Temuan: Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa zakat telah berkembang, namun masih terdapat kesenjangan penelitian pada area distribusi zakat serta implementasinya dalam konteks sosial ekonomi. Hasil dari analisis bibliometrik ini memperlihatkan 239 dokumen terkait zakat dan kemiskinan, serta menghasilkan kolaborasi antar penulis dan lembaga tentang zakat semakin meningkat, memperkuat pengaruh akademik dan mendorong efektivitas zakat untuk mencapai tujuan pengentasan kemiskinan. Negara yang menghasilkan artikel terkait tema penelitian yakni negara dengan jumlah penduduk muslim yang banyak seperti Malaysia dan Indonesia. Implikasi penelitian : Penelitian ini dapat menjadi rujukan untuk kajian di masa mendatang, terkait kekurangan dari sekian penelitian yang ada tentang zakat dan kemiskinan, termasuk peluang kajian konstruktif yang dapat mendukung wawasan dan implementasi sektor riil di dunia zakat
Kulliyatul Mu’allimin Al-Islamiyah (KMI) Curriculum in Enhancing the Competence Graduates at Darul Hikmah Islamic Boarding School
This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Kulliyatul Mu’allimin Al-Islamiyah (KMI) curriculum in enhancing the competencies of Islamic boarding school graduates at Darul Hikmah Tulungagung. A descriptive qualitative approach was employed, with data collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. Sources included the boarding school’s leaders, curriculum coordinators, teachers, and students. The findings reveal that the KMI curriculum has been effectively implemented, fostering students' academic, spiritual, and social competencies. Graduates demonstrate strong religious knowledge, communication skills, leadership, and social responsibility. Supporting factors include the quality of teachers, the pesantren’s culture, and strong institutional leadership. Challenges include limited facilities, varying student competencies, and insufficient teacher training. The study implies that the KMI curriculum offers a viable, integrative, contextual Islamic education model. The study’s limitations include its focus on a single institution and the qualitative approach that lacks statistical generalizability. The novelty of this research lies in its evaluative focus on the KMI curriculum’s contribution within a specific local context that has received limited academic attention
Pengaruh Pendapatan Anggota, Tingkat Pendidikan, Dan Jangka Waktu Terhadap Kelancaran Pengembalian Pembiayaan Murabahah (Studi Kasus Pada Anggota Koperasi BMT NU Sidayu)
This study aims to analyze the factors that influence the smoothness of murabahah financing repayment in the BMT NU Sidayu cooperative. The approach used is quantitative with primary data obtained through questionnaires from 75 active members of the cooperative. The analysis method in this study uses multiple linear regression analysis in the SPSS 26 for Windows program to determine the effect of each variable on the dependent variable, namely the level of smoothness of financing repayment. The results of the study show that each variable X has an effect on variable Y with a significance value guideline of <0.05 (less than 0.05) which means that the hypothesis is accepted. Member income has a positive and significant effect with a sig value of 0.000. Education level has a positive and significant effect with a sig value of 0.002, and time period has a positive and significant effect with a sig value of 0.000. This study is also limited to data obtained from information available when the study was conducted, so there is a possibility that it does not fully represent the overall condition. This research has value because it provides an understanding of the factors that influence the smoothness of murabahah financing returns, so that it can be used as a basis for improving customer assessment and management strategies in Islamic financial institutions
Evaluation of the Performance of the National Zakat Agency (BAZNAS) Using Financial Ratios for Optimization
BAZNAS as the coordinator of zakat management institutions spread across Indonesia, has conducted a financial ratio study to measure the performance of a non-profit organization, especially for zakat management organizations (OPZ). The advantage of using this method is that the OPZ performance is known precisely, quickly and can be assessed in all aspects, so that a decision can be made immediately about which aspects will be improved first. Therefore, this research aims to analyze the performance of BAZNAS using special financial ratios for zakat management institutions. This research uses a descriptive method with a quantitative approach, namely by describing the financial performance of BAZNAS over the last five years by first determining the financial ratios for non-profit institutions and then comparing them between years. This type of research data is secondary data, namely the audited financial reports of BAZNAS for 2018-2022. The results of this research state that BAZNAS' financial performance is declared optimal based on the activity ratio and amil fund ratio, while the other 3 ratios (efficiency ratio, liquidity ratio and growth ratio) state that BAZNAS' performance is not good
Analisis Sistem Bagi Hasil Pada Kerjasama Pertanian Padi Antara Pemilik Lahan Dan Penggarap Dalam Perspektif Ekonomi Syariah: (Studi Pada Kelompok Tani Sempulur II Trenggalek)
Agricultural cooperation with a profit-sharing system between landowners and cultivators is a long-standing practice traditionally practiced in rural communities. In the Sempulur II Trenggalek Farmers Group, this system is still carried out orally without referring to the principles of Islamic economics. Based on this, this study formulates two main problems: how the profit-sharing system is implemented in the group and to what extent it is in accordance with the principles of Islamic economics. The purpose of the study was to understand the ongoing profit-sharing practices and to assess them from a sharia perspective. This study used a qualitative approach with a case study method, through interviews, participatory observation, and documentation. The results of the study showed that the system known as ngedok resembles a muzara'ah contract, carried out without a written agreement and based on trust, with a profit sharing of 2/3 for landowners and 1/3 for cultivators. Although it runs smoothly, this system is not fully in accordance with Islamic principles due to the lack of clarity of the contract and supervision. Therefore, through this study, the researcher recommends recording the contract in writing and increasing the role of farmer groups in ensuring justice and supervision of cooperation
Implementation of the Tajdid Method in Improving Reading and Memorization of the Qur'an by Students of Aisyiyah Kedungwaru Innovative Elementary School
This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Tajdid method in improving the ability to read and memorize the Qur'an in students of Aisyiyah Kedungwaru Innovative Elementary School. This method combines the Structural Analytic Synthetic (SAS) approach and mnemonic techniques with a qualitative descriptive approach through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results show that this method is implemented regularly every morning with varied and fun activities. From the principal's perspective, the main supporting factors are school management support and cooperation with Tajdid Center for teacher training. Teachers rated interesting learning media and regular training as supporting success, but faced obstacles in the variation of students' learning styles and uneven mastery of the method. Meanwhile, students show high enthusiasm because the method is interactive, but limited practice time is an obstacle. Overall, the Tajdid method is considered effective, but needs continued support from schools and parents as well as improved teacher competence
The Role of Ustadz in Improving the Understanding of Nahwu Shorof in Boarding School Darul Muslimin Muhammadiyah Pare Kediri
This research is motivated by the importance of learning nahwu and shorof to help students understand the yellow book and other Arabic texts, but in reality, there are still many students who have difficulty in understanding Arabic language rules, both in word structure and grammar, so Ustadz has an important role in learning nahwu and shorof to overcome various difficulties faced by students. This research was organized at the Darul Muslimin Muhammadiyah Islamic Boarding School in Pare Kediri and aims to obtain information about the efforts made by the ustadz in improving the understanding of nahwu shorof, the challenges faced by the ustadz in the process, and the ustadz's strategy in overcoming the various challenges that exist. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach; the data collection methods used are in-depth interviews, participant observation, and documentation. The results of the research are 1) The efforts of the ustadz in improving the understanding of nahwu shorof in the Darul Muslimin Muhammadiyah Pare Kediri Islamic boarding school by using active learning methods, namely not only using the lecture method but also involving students directly through memorization discussions and practice reading the yellow book. Ustadz also conducts periodic evaluations in the form of oral or written exams and daily observations. 2) Obstacles in improving the understanding of Nahwu Shorof at Darul Muslimin Muhammadiyah Pare Kediri boarding school are the low basic ability of students in reading, writing, speaking, and listening to Arabic, and the lack of interest in learning Nahwu Shorof in some students. 3) Efforts made to overcome obstacles in improving the understanding of nahwu shorof are additional tutoring programs outside the main learning hours, aimed specifically at students who still have difficulty understanding nahwu shorof
