    Performance Test of Water Flow Control System and Nozzle Movement in Fountains Integrated with Automatic Plant Irrigation

    The presence of fountains in public areas can create a comfortable atmosphere for everyone. Green spaces can provide ecological and aesthetic benefits, so fountains that combine ecological and aesthetic functions were essential. Based on this, research was conducted to test the performance of the water flow control system and nozzle movement control in a fountain integrated with automatic plant irrigation. Water flow testing was conducted by setting the dimmer at angles of 20°, 25°, 30°, 35°, 40°, 45°, 50°, 55°, 60°, and 65°. Nozzle movement testing was carried out by giving servo motor movement commands at angles of 50° – 130° and gradually adding an angle of 4° for each test. The data collected in the study were water flow and nozzle movement accuracy. Based on the test results, the minimum flow rate recorded was 0.141 l/s at an angle of 20°, the maximum flow rate reached 0.775 l/s at an angle of 65°, while the average flow rate from the tests was 0.490 l/s. The nozzle movement system showed an average accuracy of 98.84%, indicating that the system performs very well. The test results showed that the water discharge control and nozzle movement systems were able to produce controlled water jets, both in terms of flow rate and direction

    Investigation of the Influence of Plate Thickness on Orifice Flow Using the Computational Fluid Dynamics Method

    Piping systems provide effective fluid distribution and are crucial to industrial operations. Despite their effectiveness, flow control devices like orifice plates can result in significant pressure drop that can lower system efficiency and wear out the system’s mechanical components. This study aims to optimize orifice plate design by examining the effect of plate thickness on flow characteristics using Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD). Simulations were conducted on orifice plates with thicknesses ranging from 1.5T to 3.0T under Reynolds numbers from 10â´ to 10â¶. Results show that increasing the thickness reduces pressure loss, with the 3T configuration achieving a 1.35% reduction compared to the baseline. Improvements are linked to a higher discharge coefficient (Cd), shorter flow reattachment distance (Xr), smaller recirculation zones, and reduced velocity through the orifice throat. These findings suggest that geometric modifications can enhance flow performance and reduce the risk of mechanical damage in piping systems

    PERENCANAAN KEBUTUHAN FASILITAS PEJALAN KAKI PADA AREA PASAR KALIREJO LAMPUNG TENGAH

    Kebutuhan akan fasilitas pejalan kaki yang aman dan nyaman dan inklusif menjadi krusial untuk mendukung kegiatan sehari hari dari berbagai lapisan yang menggunakan area tersebut. Dalam penelitian ini peneliti menggunakan data yang langsung diambil dari lokasi penelitian berupa gambaran secara umum meliputi panjang jalan lebar jalan dan kondisi jalan serta data pejalan kaki, volume kendaraan. Sedangkan untuk merencanakan fasilitas pejalan kaki membutuhkan data-data sepreti volume pejalan kaki dan volume kendaraan lalu lintas serta kecapatan pajalan kaki. Pada area pasar Kalirejo ini didapat volume pejalan kaki cukup tinggi, disetiap segmen memiliki arus pejalan kaki yang berbeda beda dan begitu pula dengan keadaan arus lalu lintas. Hasil dari penelitian didapat yaitu pada  segmen A jenis fasilitas penyebrangan menggunakan zebra cross dengan nilai PV² sebesar 1,7 x 10⸠dan fasilitas pejalan kaki menyusuri dengan lebar trotoar 185 cm. Segmen B jenis fasilitas penyebrangan mengunakan zebra cross dengan nilai PV 1,7 x 10⸠dan fasilitas pejalan kaki menyusuri yang digunakan selebar 185 cm. Segmen C fasiitas pejalan kaki menyebrang tidak memenuhi syarat dengan nilai 5,8 x 10ⷠyang dimana nilai PV² tidak mencukupi nilai minimal dan fasilitas pejalan kaki menyusuri dengan lebar 185 cm. Segmen Cc jenis fasilitas penyebrangan yang digunakan pedestrian platform dengan nilai PV² sebesar 6,3 x 10⸠dan lebar fasilitas pejalan kaki menyusuri selebar 185 cm. dan di segmen D jenis fasilitas penyebrangan yang digunakan tidak memenuhi nilai minimal PV² dan lebar fasilitas pejalan kaki menyusuri selebar 185cm

    Sufisme atau tasawuf merupakan tradisi kebathinan yang dilakukan oleh seorang sufi sejak lama. Tasawuf adalah amalan bathin seorang sufi yang ingin selalu mensucikan dirinya dengan mengadakan hubungan bathin dengan Allah SWT. Dalam ajaran islam tasawuf juga dinamakan thoriqoh. Thoriqoh adalah suatu jalan yang digunakan sebagai wasilah ma’rifat untuk sampai  kepada sang pencipta Allah SAW. Namun dari berbagai macam aliran tasawuf jalan thoriqoh yang digunakan oleh seorang sufi antara yang satu dengan yang lainnya tentu tidak sama bahkan ada yang berbeda walaupun pada dasarnya dengan jalan yang berbeda mempunyai tujuan yang sama yaitu mendekatkan diri kepada Allah SAW sang maha pencipta dan pengatur alam semesta. Dalam artikel ini mengungkapkan bagaimana konsep pemikiran tasawuf Imam Junaid al Baghdadi terhadap tiga konsep pemikiran tasawuf atau tri konsep utama yaitu mistsaq (perjanjian), fana (peleburan), dan tauhid (penyatuan). Tiga konsep inilah yang digunakan oleh Imam Junaid Al Baghdadi sebagai jalan thoriqoh dalam ber ma’rifat kepada Allah SWT.Sufism, or Sufism, is a spiritual tradition practiced by Sufis for a long time. Sufism is the inner practice of a Sufi who seeks to purify himself by establishing an inner connection with Allah SWT. In Islamic teachings, Sufism is also called tariqah (tradition). Tariqah is a path used as a means of gaining knowledge (ma'rifat) to reach the Creator, Allah SWT. However, among the various schools of Sufism, the path of tariqah used by Sufis varies from one to another, and some even differ, although essentially, all different paths have the same goal: to draw closer to Allah SWT as the Supreme Creator. This article explains how Imam Junaid al-Baghdadi's Sufi thought relates to three main concepts of Sufism: mistsaq (covenant), fana (fusion), and tauhid (unification).     APPLICATION OF ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE IN ISLAMIC EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS USING THE LEARNING ORGANIZATION APPROACH: A CASE STUDY OF DARUNNAJAH INSTITUTE AND UNIVERSITY IN INDONESIA

    This study investigates the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Islamic educational institutions, specifically focusing on Darunnajah Institute and University in Indonesia, utilizing the Learning Organization (LO) approach. The study aims to explore how AI can enhance the educational process while maintaining the core spiritual and moral values of Islamic education. A qualitative research methodology was employed, which included stages of identification, screening, eligibility, and inclusion, to select studies that examine AI’s potential in personalized learning, religious practices, and ethical challenges within Islamic education.The findings highlight AI’s capacity to improve academic performance, streamline administrative processes, and support personalized learning paths. However, the study emphasizes the importance of balancing technological advancements with the preservation of Islamic values. AI tools, such as real-time feedback for Quranic recitation, show promising outcomes in cognitive development but cannot replace human educators' roles in fostering moral and spiritual growth. Ethical concerns, including data privacy, algorithmic bias, and transparency, are critical to ensuring AI's alignment with Islamic principles.The study proposes a hybrid model of AI integration that combines technology with traditional teaching methods. Future research should focus on developing ethical frameworks for AI, especially regarding privacy and algorithmic fairness, and explore further how AI can enhance both academic and character development in Islamic education. This research contributes to the literature on AI in Islamic education and provides practical insights for institutions aiming to adopt AI while preserving their religious and ethical foundations

    Penguatan Kewirausahaan Sosial dalam Pelaku UMKM: Integrasi Teknik Sipil dan Konseling untuk Pengelolaan Sumber Daya Alam

    This community service program aimed to enhance the capacity of Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) actors in Kelurahan Iringmulyo, focusing on the development of social entrepreneurship based on natural resource management and clean water management. The program combined interdisciplinary expertise in social entrepreneurship, civil engineering (water management), and counseling to provide a holistic approach to capacity building. The activities included training on social entrepreneurship, practical techniques for sustainable water management, and counseling sessions aimed at improving teamwork and entrepreneurial motivation. A total of 15 participants from the local SME community were involved in the program. Pre- and post-test evaluations showed a significant increase in participants' understanding of social entrepreneurship and water management, with an average improvement of 35% and 40%, respectively. The counseling sessions also had a positive impact on the participants’ teamwork and motivation, with 85% of participants reporting increased confidence and a better understanding of the importance of collaboration in managing social enterprises. The program demonstrated positive results in empowering the participants by enhancing their entrepreneurial skills and providing them with the tools to manage natural resources efficiently. The ongoing mentoring and collaboration with external partners will ensure the sustainability of the knowledge and skills acquired during the program, contributing to the long-term development of the community.     Asesmen kompetensi minimum berperan penting sebagai alat evaluasi untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan. Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat (PkM) ini adalah Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk memberdayakan sekolah mitra mengembangkan bank soal AKM berbasis android sehingga dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan guru dalam mengembangkan soal AKM berbasis android serta tersedianya bank soal AKM di sekolah. Metode yang digunakan adalah prasurvei, pelaksanaan terdiri pelatihan dan pendampingan, evaluasi dan pelaporan. Hasil yang diperoleh adalah 82 % pennigkatan pengetahuan dan 87,5% peningkatan keterampilan guru dalam pengembangan bank soal AKM berbasis Android serta tersedianya bank soal berbasis android. Dampak dari kegiatan ini memberikan kebermanfaatan bagi mitra antara lain mampu mengembangkan potensi mitra dalam menyediakan fasilitas belajar berupa bank soal berbasis android secara mandiri. Selain itu, kegiatan ini adalah kemudahan akses siswa untuk berlatih AKM yang berdampak pada peningkatan kompetensi siswa sehingga siswa memiliki karakter dan soft skill sesuai kebutuhan masa depan

    Manufacturing of Organic Waste Shredding Machine

    Organic waste shredders are designed to speed up waste processing by chopping organic matter into smaller sizes, which in turn makes decomposition processes easier, such as composting or biogas production. The effective design of the shredding mechanism is essential for improving machine efficiency and ensuring optimal engine durability. Some factors that need to be considered in the design of an organic waste shredder include the type and characteristics of organic matter, the shredding mechanism used (such as knives, rollers, or hammer mills), motor power and rotation speed, feeding system, and the resistance of the machine's materials to wear. In addition, aspects of safety, user comfort, and noise and vibration reduction are also important elements in machine design. Choosing the right design based on these factors will allow the machine to operate efficiently, produce consistent shredding results, and accelerate the organic waste processing process, ultimately contributing to better and sustainable waste management. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk membantu pengepul kerajinan di Desa Sidomulyo dalam membuat dan mengelola toko online. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode pelatihan dan pemdampingan oleh tim yang dilakukan melalui praktik dan simulasi.     Panas bumi adalah energi yang berasal dari dalam bumi sebagai sumber energi yang terbarukan dan bersih. Indonesia menjadi salah satu negara yang memiliki sumber daya panas bumi yang dapat diubah menajadi energi yang alternatif sebagai pengganti bahan bakar fosil. Tujuan dari tulisan ini yaitu untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengelolaan sumber daya panas bumi oleh pemerintah dalam mendukung tujuan SDGs ke-7, yakni energi bersih dan terjangkau. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah studi normatif dengan pendekatan perundang-undangan yang mengatur pengelolan energi panas bumi di Indonesia. Pengumpulan data menggunakan studi literatur dari junal yang digunakan sebagai referensi. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa pengelolaan sember daya panas bumi masih perlu diperkuat meskipun adanya regulasi hukum agar energi panas bumi dapat optimal sebagai energi panas bumi yang terbarukan
