    Experimental study of the effect of inclination angle variations of the turbine shaft on the Archimedes screw turbine efficiency

    Archimedes Screw turbine is a type of turbine that can operate at low heads. One of the parameters that influences turbine performance is the tilt angle of the turbine shaft. This research aims to determine the effect of the turbine shaft tilt angle on the performance of the Archimedes screw turbine using experimental methods. The experiment was carried out in the river of Pematang Gajah Village, Jambi Province, by varying the tilt angle of the turbine shaft, namely 10°, 20°, 30°, 40°, and 50°. The test results showed that the highest turbine efficiency occurred at a turbine tilt angle of 30° with an average efficiency value reaching 78%. This condition occurs because the flow through the turbine blade is less compared to other turbine shaft tilt conditions so that the fluid force is completely converted into energy. The electrical energy produced by turbine generators can reduce dependence on electricity supplies from the central grid and become more energy-independent. In addition, stable and affordable energy sources can improve the quality of life and support the social and economic development of society

    Joint umumnya digunakan pada struktur rangka bangunan dan jembatan, pengencang pada struktur memiliki kekuatan dan ketahanan yang berbeda berdasarkan berbagai faktor seperti geometri joint dan sifat mekanik material. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu mengeksplorasi potensi joint dengan menggunakan hierarchical suture dari tengkorak rusa. Berbagai metode digunakan untuk mengatasi permasalahan joint seperti faktor geometrik dan sifat mekanik material agar dapat menahan beban-beban yang dikenakan pada struktur, geometri tulang dari jahitan tengkorak yang menyerupai bentuk segitiga inilah yang menjadi sumber inspirasi desain dalam struktur khususnya joint. Analisis desain dilakukan menggunakan simulasi ANSYS dengan variasi berupa ordo 1 dan ordo 2 serta variasi sudut 30◦, 45◦, dan 60◦ guna mencari desain joint yang optimal dalam menahan deformasi tegangan dan regangan. Hasil simulasi yang memberikan desain terbaik dalam menahan deformasi, tegangan, dan regangan yaitu desain dengan ordo 1 sudut 60◦ dan desain dengan ordo 2 sudut 60◦. Jumlah ordo akan mempengaruhi sifat mekanik dan menambah kekuatan joint sedangkan sudut akan mempengaruhi pendistribusian gaya pada joint.Kata kunci: bio-inspired, hierarchical sutures, FEM (Finite Element Methods)

    Motor vehicle exhaust emissions containing carbon monoxide (CO) and hydrocarbons (HC) are a strategic issue for Indonesia, which has not yet set an age limit for motor vehicles. As a control measure, the Indonesian government itself has issued regulations on exhaust gas emission quality standards for motorized vehicles that are used by the public through Regulation of the Minister of Environment and Forestry of the Republic of Indonesia Number 8 of 2023. Catalytic converter technology is the most effective system for reducing CO and HC emissions. Currently, it is from the Platinum Gold Metal (PGM) group, namely Platinum, Palladium, Rhodium which is still very expensive. This article uses a literature review research method with reference sources originating from previous research journals by comparing. This paper will discuss gas emissions, the development of converter catalytic materials and also the effectiveness of converter catalytic materials from the non-PGM metal group, namely Copper (Cu) and Brass/ Brass (CuZn) which has been proven to be able to reduce exhaust gas emissions so that it can be an alternative as a converter catitic at a more affordable price for the wider communit

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi keberhasilan implementasi manajemen pendidikan Islam dan memberikan rekomendasi untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan Islam. Pendekatan ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, dengan Analisis Implementasi Manajemen Pendidikan Islam. Sumber data yang diambil dari kepala sekilah, kepala tata usaha serta guru di MA GUPPI Banjut. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui metode: 1) Observasi, 2) Wawancara, dan 3) Dokumentasi. Pengecekan keabsahan data penelitian menggunakan Teknik triangulasi. Adapun Langkah-langkah yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini meliputi: 1) Reduksi Data, 2) Penyajian Data (data display), 3) Verifikasi Data (data verifying), dan 4) Penarikan Kesimpulan (conclusion drawing). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa faktor-faktor seperti komitmen pimpinan sekolah, partisipasi stakeholder, dan penggunaan teknologi informasi memengaruhi keberhasilan implementasi manajemen pendidikan Islam. Komitmen pimpinan sekolah menjadi faktor penting dalam menentukan keberhasilan implementasi manajemen pendidikan Islam. Pimpinan sekolah yang memiliki komitmen yang kuat terhadap pendidikan Islam akan mampu memotivasi tenaga pendidik dan peserta didik untuk mencapai tujuan pendidikan Islam yang diinginkan. Selain itu, partisipasi stakeholder juga menjadi faktor penting dalam keberhasilan implementasi manajemen pendidikan Islam. Stakeholder yang terlibat dalam proses pendidikan Islam, seperti orang tua, masyarakat, dan alumni, dapat memberikan dukungan dan masukan yang berharga untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan Islam

    PENGEMBANGAN MODUL AJAR BERDIFERENSIASI DENGAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN BERBASIS MASALAH PADA MATERI BILANGAN BULAT DI KELAS VII MTs NEGERI 1 PONTIANAK

    The research method used in this research is development research or also known as Research and Development (R&D) research. The stages of developing teaching modules use the ADDIE model which stands for analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation. Sampling used purposive sampling technique. The subjects of this research were class VII students at MTs Negeri 1 Pontianak. The instruments used were media and material expert validation sheets, teacher and student response questionnaires, and post-tests. The validity results reached an average of 81.2% including the "very valid" category and the validity of the material reached an average of 80.9% including the "very valid" criteria. The level of practicality of the problem based learning model differentiation teaching module on integer material for class VII MTs Negeri 1 Pontianak through the teacher response questionnaire obtained an average of 87.5% and the average student response questionnaire was 87.29%. with the criteria "very practical". The level of effectiveness of the differentiation teaching module with a problem based learning model on integer material through posttest results reached an average of 85.29% with the criterion of "very effective". Students' abilities after implementing the differentiated teaching module, seen from the posttest scores, showed that there was a significant difference with a sig value of 0.007 < 0.05

    UPAYA PENGINTEGRASIAN NILAI-NILAI ISLAM DALAM PEMBELAJARAN PENDIDIKAN PANCASILA DI KELAS V SEKOLAH DASAR

    AbstractIn the context of education in Indonesia, integrating religious values, especially Islam, in learning, one of which is Pancasila education learning, has an important role in the development of a complete human being from all sides, one of which is the development of positive character to form students who have responsibility, good morals, and respect cultural and social values. The reason for conducting this research is to describe the efforts made by educators in combining Islamic values in Pancasila learning especially in class V of SDN Pekayon 16 Pagi. This study uses qualitative research with descriptive methods. The technique for collecting this data uses observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique used in this study uses an interactive model according to Miles and Huberman consisting of collecting data, reducing data, presenting data, and conclusions or verifying data. The results of the study showed that teachers at SDN Pekayon 16 Pagi had maximized the integration of Islamic values in learning, especially Pancasila Education, where the efforts made were to connect all the precepts of Pancasila with religious teachings, especially Islam, then linked to relevant experiences of students' daily lives and the use of various teaching methods such as contextual approaches, habituation to apply all Pancasila and Islamic values in life, and the use of lecture and group methods.     Karakteristik Nilai Kalor dan Laju Pembakaran Briket Biomassa dengan Variasi Komposisi Ampas Tebu dan Kulit Singkong

    Bekas limbah dari proses pemrosesan tebu dan kulit singkong merupakan sumber yang berpotensi dimanfaatkan. Menggunakan bahan-bahan ini untuk menciptakan briket adalah solusi cerdas dalam memproduksi bahan bakar alternatif. Batu bara dan minyak, dua sumber energi utama saat ini, semakin menipis cadangannya. Oleh karena itu, penting bagi kita untuk mencari sumber energi terbarukan, seperti briket, yang dapat diperbarui secara berkelanjutan. Penelitian yang dilakukan menggunakan ampas tebu dan kulit singkong sebagai bahan baku, yang diikat dengan tepung tapioka dalam tiga rasio berbeda: 70/55/15, 60/60/15, dan 55/70/15 gram. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai kalor terendah ditemukan pada komposisi briket 60/60/15 dengan hasil 3.75 kal/gr, sementara laju pembakaran tertinggi dicapai oleh komposisi 70/55/15 dengan hasil 4.67 kal/gr. Laju pembakaran terendah diukur pada komposisi 70/55/15 dengan hasil 7.63 gram/menit, sedangkan laju pembakaran tertinggi tercatat pada komposisi 55/70/15 dengan hasil 8.06 gram/menit. Kandungan air paling rendah terdapat pada komposisi 70/55/15 dengan hasil 14.6%, sementara kadar air pembakaran tertinggi terdapat pada komposisi 60/60/15 dengan hasil 30.5%

    Pengaruh Filter Proses Elektroplating Terhadap Hasil Kekasaran Permukaan, Biaya Oprasional dan Uji Pantul Cahaya

    Elektroplating merupakan teknik pelapisan logam dengan memanfaatkan prinsip elektrolisis, di mana satu logam dilapisi dengan logam lain dalam larutan elektrolit mempergunakan arus listrik, serta menghasilkan lapisan yang lebih seragam, adhesi yang kuat, dan tampilan permukaan yang lebih baik. Tujuan dari penelitian ini Untuk mengetahui pengaruh filter terhadap hasil kekasaran permukaan, biaya oprasional serta nilai pantul cahaya pada proses elektroplating. Metode penelitian yang dipergunakan ialah metode eksperimental diamana,material dengan ukuran 70 mm x 35 mm x 3 mm dilakukan proses elektroplating selama 30 menit setelah itu dilakukan pengujian kekasaran permukaan, uji pantul cahaya serta mengitung biaya oprasional. Hasil dari pengaruh filter terhadap nilai kekasaran didapatkan nilai (Ra) 0,219 µm (filter digunakan) serta (non-filter) dengan nilai Ra 0,376 µm. Sedangkan biaya oprasional untuk sekali peroses pelapissan pada elektroplating yakni sebesar Rp 52.145. Nilai reflektansi cahaya terdapat korelasi positif antara kebersihan larutan elektrolit dan nilai reflektansi lapisan, di mana semakin bersih larutan elektrolit, semakin tinggi nilai reflektansiny
