Earthquake And Landslide Disaster Risk Assessment At The University Of Defense: A Preliminary Study
The geographical location of the University of Defense in Bogor Regency, Citereup Sub-district, Bogor, West Java, is a sloping terrain that can potentially cause landslides. The InaRISK map released by BNPB, shows that the Defense University is located in an area of Bogor Regency that is prone to disasters, especially landslides. Disaster risk assessment is an approach to show the potential negative impacts that may arise due to a potential disaster. The potential negative impacts are calculated based on the level of vulnerability and capacity of the area. This potential negative impact is seen from the potential number of people exposed, property loss, and environmental damage (PERKA BNPB, 2012). Researchers conducted an analysis of landslide and earthquake disaster vulnerability at the University of Defense. A study of building and population vulnerability to potential earthquakes and landslides was conducted at the University of Defense. The components of social vulnerability at the University of Defense in the event of an earthquake and landslide were obtained. Researchers obtained data on population capacity and building conditions at the University of Defense. Landslide and earthquake disaster risks have the potential to occur at the University of Defense. The University of Defense has the potential threat of landslides because the buildings of the University of Defense are located on hilly slopes. The vulnerability of the University of Defense buildings, the University of Defense buildings have not been designed to be entirely earthquake resistant. This can be seen in some buildings that have visible cracks. It is necessary to retrofit or strengthen the foundations of buildings in the Defense University area that have experienced a decrease in performance such as cracking, shifting, displacement. An important component where the University community and students need self-protection and rescue skills through training

Communication within the organization significantly affects how well employees perform their duties. The level of work discipline among employees is a critical factor influencing their performance. Both communication and work discipline together have a significant combined effect on employee performanc
Impact of Commodity Price and Exchange Rate on IHSG with Geopolitics as Moderation
This research aims to determine the influence of world gold prices, world oil prices, world coal prices, and exchange rates on the Indonesian composite stock index. The tests of the ponder are Indonesia's world oil prices, world gold prices, world coal prices, trade rate, geopolitical chance record, and composite stock prices for Indonesia, data from www.investing.com and www.policyuncertainty.com January 2020 to December 2023. The method used to analyze the data in this research is multiple regression analysis and residual tests for moderator variables. Through F test analysis it is known that simultaneously all variables X have a significant influence on the Indonesian Composite Stock Price Index at the 5% level. Based on these results, the research hypothesis is accepted. Furthermore, through t-test analysis (subtest), the variables of world gold prices, world oil prices, world coal prices, and exchange rates have a partially significant influence on the Indonesian Composite Stock Price Index at a confidence level of 100. It turns out to be 95% (a = 5%). It can be concluded that changes in these variables influence changes in the Indonesian composite stock index. In addition, geopolitical variables cannot moderate the relationship between all variables X and Y. This shows that geopolitical factors do not play a significant role in this context. The variation in the Indonesian Composite Stock Price Index of 88.0 can be explained by combining all variables X. The remaining 12.0% can be explained by other factors not included in the estimation model.

Japanese Government Efforts in Flood Disaster Risk Reduction
Japan is an island nation prone to floods and tsunamis. The mountains that dominate Japan form short rivers with steep slopes. The rivers transport sediment to the plains, creating medium-sized floodplains. Japan's rivers are prone to flash floods due to their steep basin slopes and relatively short lengths. The ratio of peak discharge to watershed area is relatively large, ranging from 10 to 100 times that of major rivers in other countries. The water level rises and falls very quickly. This research aims to find out the Japanese Government's Efforts in Flood Disaster Risk Reduction. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative research using purposive sampling technique on the activities of the Overseas Work Lecture (KKLN). Informants appointed as samples are Dr. Aulia Fabianda Anwar Tinumbang from Asisstant Professor. Graduate School of Engineering Kyoto University. KKLN activities are organized by the Defense University Disaster Management Study Program online through the Zoom application. KKDN activities were attended by all 26 Disaster Management Study Program students and also attended by the Head of the Disaster Management Study Program and Disaster Management study program staff. Agrarian Conflict Resolution In The Construction Of Frans Seda Airport In Sikka Regency To Realize National Security
The development of Frans Seda Airport land addition as a strategic tourism and economic door is faced with a conflict. The problems that occur are caused by the transfer of community agrarian land that is converted by the government. The transfer of land ownership or land chosen by the community was not in line with the cost of land compensation that was provided, causing conflict escalation. The purpose of this research is to describe the conflict resolution of Frans Seda Airport Development in Sikka Regency to realize national security. The method used is a qualitative method with a descriptive approach through literature study. Based on the results of the research, it can be understood that the phenomenon of land conversion that occurs in Sikka Regency as a result of the airport development policy has several social impacts. The impacts are the shift of agrarian land into additional land for the airport, the loss of agricultural land as a source of livelihood for the surrounding community, the emergence of pro and contra attitudes in the community, and the emergence of social conflicts. The social conflicts are between the pro and con communities (horizontal conflict), and the contra communities, and the Sikka regional government (vertical conflict). Peace efforts were made by both government and non-government institutions. The Sikka Regional Government made persuasive efforts to mediate the conflicting parties. Litigation as a resolution is then initiated with dialogue, negotiation, and individual approaches, as well as maximizing compensation and community empowerment. Resolution orientation to conflict transformation is dominant in mediating conflicts. It is hoped that this research will contribute to encouraging functional groups to formulate a cross-sectoral, integrated, and coordinated agrarian conflict resolution mechanism for the development of public interests
The Construction of Government Regulation in Lieu of Law Number 2 of 2017 in the Perspective of National Defense
The state's defense plays a central role in ensuring the continuity of society, nation, and state. Threats arising from social organizations that diverge from Pancasila and the 1945 Constitution, using the freedom of association and assembly to replace the foundational principles of Pancasila, have prompted the President to issue Government Regulation in Lieu of Law Number 2 of 2017 concerning Amendments to Law Number 17 of 2013 concerning Social Organizations (Perppu Ormas). The research method used is normative legal research, employing a qualitative approach where data is gathered in the form of descriptions focusing on Perppu Ormas. From a national defense perspective, the issuance of Perppu Ormas aims to strengthen state stability by addressing threats such as terrorism, radicalism, social conflicts, and foreign influences that potentially undermine national sovereignty. This effort also serves as a means to maintain political balance and support the positive role of social organizations in bolstering national defense

Exploring the Entrepreneurial Spirit: Student Perspectives on Innovation, Education, And Career Aspirations
The landscape of entrepreneurship education in Indonesia is undergoing a significant transformation, as exemplified by Universitas PGRI Wiranegara’s effort to instill entrepreneurial competencies in its students. This shift reflects a broader trend within the nation’s higher education system, emphasizing the development of an entrepreneurial mindset through various programs and initiatives. The University, which evolved from STKIP PGRI Pasuruan in February 2020, likely employs mentorship programs, among other methods, to enhance student engagement and independence in entrepreneurship education. This article contrasts the current state of students’ entrepreneurial spirit with the aspirational goals, highlighting the gap between present conditions and ideal aspirations in students’ entrepreneurial journeys. It suggests that universities can bridge this gap by providing experiential learning opportunities, integrating entrepreneurship courses across disciplines, and fostering a culture of innovation and risk-taking. These strategies can create a supportive ecosystem for student entrepreneurs, preparing them for the challenges of the business world. Moreover, the research indicates that extracurricular activities have a more substantial impact on developing an entrepreneurial mindset than curricular activities. This finding underscores the importance of practical, real-world experiences in shaping entrepreneurial attitudes and skill
