    Early American German-language almanac donated to Bridgewater College Special Collections in 2017 by Donna Spitler Fields and Joyce Spitler Nicholson. It is an example of Pennsylvania-German printing with fraktur typeface set on the famous Christopher Sower Press. The almanac was passed down in the Spitler family of Page County, Virginia. The family was associated with the Church of the Brethren in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia. The almanac was conserved and digitized in 2018 with funding by Fields and Nicholson and Bridgewater College Special Collections
