The Effect of Processing Parameters on the Properties of Fish Gelatin Hydrolysate Nanoparticle
Fish gelatin hydrolysate is a well- known fish by-product that is high in protein content. It is produced from by-product waste from the fish processing industry, which includes fish skin, head, and bones. Gelatin hydrolysates have recently received much attention due to its high protein content and bioactivity, which includes antioxidant, antimicrobial and antihypertensive activities. The transformation of gelatin hydrolysate into nanoparticles is believed to increase its economic value. Furthermore, reduction into nano-size increases the absorption characteristic of this material. Here, fish gelatin hydrolysate nanoparticles are prepared for the first time using desolvation method. The effects of concentration of gelatin hydrolysate, pH of solution, and acetone concentration on nanoparticle size are determined. The prepared gelatin hydrolysate nanoparticles were found to have spherical shape with sizes varying from 300-400 nm with a mean size of 408 ± 11.4 nm, zeta potential of -16.4 ± 1.2 mV and PDI 0.203 ± 0.07. This study showed that concentration of gelatin hydrolysate, pH and concentration of solvent have significant effects on nanoparticle size. The gelatin hydrolysate nanoparticles can be applied in the pharmaceutical industry for the encapsulation of drugs to facilitate delivery to target sites
Eco-Pedal Bicycle Prototype Design as An Alternative Multi-Information Display Energy Generator
As technology grows, so does the consumption of energy, especially electricity. Today, electricity has become the most used energy worldwide and the demand keeps on increasing every year. According to PLN annual report the highest electricity consumption came from domestic sector which peak up to 97.832,28 GWh in 2018. Sadly, our current power supplies are not enough to fulfill those demands. It was the main reason to develop another form of cheaper, more efficient, and environmentally friendly power plants. This research aims to build a simple system which able to generate electricity for bicycle and to determine the voltage and the current it generates with certain speed which can be stored in portable batteries in order to meet the campus power demand. This design uses propulsion from the bicycle and using a 16.8 volt 6600 mAh Lithium-ion battery as its energy storage. The tests show that MID LCD may update and notify the changes of voltage, temperature, speed in every second. The average power released is 13 Watt with maximum output can reach 34 Watt. The test shows that the average voltage error is 0.79% while average temperature error is 1.28% and average speed error is 2.77%
TINGKAT KESIAPAN KOTA BANDARLAMPUNG DALAM MENERAPKAN KONSEP SMART MOBILITY: (STUDI KASUS: KECAMATAN TANJUNG KARANG PUSAT)
Nowadays, smart city becomes a promising program, because smart city offers good service to the government by involving information technology, which provides open space in public services. Bandar Lampung City Government is currently trying to make the city of Bandar Lampung become smart city. Movement that continues to occur, the more citizens and transportation problems in Bandar Lampung City, needs to be the application of the concept of smart mobility immediately, in applying the concept of smart mobility we must see how ready Bandar Lampung city in applying it, therefore we need to take one of the districts in bandar Lampung city. One of the sub-districts in Bandar Lampung city is Tanjung Karang Pusat Subdistrict which is one of the most populous sub-districts and also a center of trade and services. This research was conducted with qualitative approach, data analysis techniques using descriptive analysis and scale analysis. The research variables are drawn from the conclusions of smart city experts, research has already been done and precedents. From the results of the analysis that has been done the results of the research on the level of readiness of Tanjung Karang Pusat Subdistrict in applying the concept of smart mobility is quite ready
MODEL PERGERAKAN KOTA BANDAR LAMPUNG BERDASARKAN INTENSITAS GUNA LAHAN
The city functions as a service system for diverse community needs implemented through the provision of housing, trade and services, recreational areas and transportation networks. Activities between these activities cause movement, the magnitude of the movement value is influenced by the size and scale of activity (intensity) on each type of land use. The economic condition of the city depends on the ease of the people in their activities and the smooth distribution of production goods. Bandar Lampung as the economic center of Lampung Province has problems that affect movement such as land use patterns, low road accessibility. In anticipation of this movement must be in good condition that is effective and easy to do, because movement is influenced by land use intensity. Therefore, it is necessary to know the magnitude of the influence of the intensity of land use in the movement in the city of Bandar Lampung by using the Movement Model can be known the size of the influence of Land Intensity on the movement in the city of Bandar Lampung. The analytical method used in this study is the analysis of the origin destination matrix and multiple linear regression analysis. the results of the analysis show that land use related and influencing the movement of the city of Bandar Lampung are activities on land use trade and services as well as education affect movement. KEBERLANJUTAN PERUMAHAN FORMAL DI KECAMATAN KEMILING BERDASARKAN KONSEP ECOLOGICAL HOUSING
Along with the development of a city, the need for houses to support activities in it also continues to increase. Thus, housing tends to be made in a hurry to catch up with the increasing population as a city develops. Therefore, housing development is generally more emphasized in terms of quantity only in order to meet the needs for houses by the community rather than the quality of the houses built. Thus, in the provision of housing sometimes neglect the sustainability aspect. Similarly, Kemiling Sub-district is a sub-district with limited housing/settlement and has had housing since the 1980s, but new housing units continue to be built and are planned to be built. This study aims to determine the sustainability of formal housing in Kemiling District based on the concept of Ecological Housing. There are 2 targets to achieve these goals, namely: (1) Identifying the existing condition of formal housing in Kemiling District based on the concept of Ecological Housing, (2) Analyzing the condition of sustainability of Formal Housing in Kemiling District based on the concept of Ecological Housing. With descriptive analysis method and weighting analysis with Likert scale. The variables used are 7 variables, namely physical residential buildings, facilities, infrastructure, access to city facilities, environment, economy, social. Based on the results of the weighting analysis that has been carried out with the concept of Ecological Housing in Kemiling District categorized as 'good', then formal housing in Kemiling District can be sustainable. This is the reason why formal housing developers in Kemiling District continue to plan new housing developments because Kemiling District has the potential to continue to develop in terms of housing
PERSEPSI PENGUNJUNG TERHADAP KUALITAS REST AREA TAMAN GISTING SEBAGAI RUANG PUBLIK
Public space is part of the urban element that facilitates the interaction and communication needs of the society and describes the quality of urban space. The provision of public space affects social, economic, environmental and community quality activities, so a quality public space is needed. Parks as public spaces in Tanggamus Regency have not been evenly distributed because they are only available in 3 sub-districts, namely Taman Kota Ir. Soekarno (Kota Agung Pusat District), Rest Area Taman Gisting (Gisting District), and Rest Area Pugung (Pugung District) showed that the provision of public space had not met the distribution and quantity aspects. Rest Area Taman Gisting is located in Gisting Urban, which acts as a public space, so it is necessary to identify its quality because it has to serve the surrounding sub-districts. In addition, the declining quality of facilities and various other problems affect its quality as a public space. This study aims to determine the visitor's perception of the quality of the Gisting Park Rest Area as a public space. This study uses quantitative research methods with descriptive statistical analysis techniques and scoring methods (Likert scale). Based on the results of the study, visitors' perceptions of the quality of the Rest Area Taman Gisting as a public space are sufficient to meet the needs of visitors, sufficient to protect the rights of visitors, and sufficient to provide meaning for visitors.

Sosialisasi Kawasan Rawan Bencana Tsunami di Desa Way Muli Timur, Kecamatan Rajabasa, Kabupaten Lampung Selatan
Kabupaten Lampung Selatan merupakan salah satu daerah yang terdampak bencana tsunami tahun 2018. Salah satu lokasi yang terdampak yaitu Desa Way Muli Timur. Pemukiman yang berada di bibir pantai menyebabkan daerah ini memiliki risiko yang tinggi ketika terjadi bencana tsunami terjadi. Kegiatan sosialisasi diperlukan untuk memberikan pemahaman kepada warga masyrakat tentang potensi bencana tsunami dan daerah-daerah yang aman ketika tsunami terjadi. Pemahaman warga terhadap apa itu bencana tsunami, indikasinya dan langkah-langkah apa yang harus dilakukan ketika bencana terjadi dapat diukur dengan kegiatan social mapping. Evaluasi dilakukan dengan memberikan kuesioner untuk mengukur pemahaman warga masyarakat. Selain itu, kegiatan sosialisasi ini juga bertujuan untuk membentuk agent of mitigation yang menjadi penggerak sosialisasi kawasasan rawan bencana secara berkala
Analisis Kepuasan Masyarakat Terhadap Penerapan dan Edukasi Panel Surya sebagai Destilasi Air Laut di Pulau Rimau Lampung Selatan
Pulau Rimau merupakan salah satu wilayah yang termasuk wilayah terdepan, terluar dan tertinggal (3T) yang memiliki sumber air laut melimpah. Namun, ironisnya dusun pulau rimau masih memiliki keterbatasan air bersih untuk kehidupan sehari-hari. Selain itu, Pulau Rimau juga memiliki potensi sumber energi matahari yang melimpah. Oleh karena itu, dibutuhkan sebuah penerapan teknologi panel surya untuk memanfaatkan energi matahari yang digunakan sebagai alat penyulingan air laut menjadi air tawar di Pulau Rimau. Selain penerapan juga dilakukan edukasi untuk meningkatkan wawasan mengenai energi terbarukan di masyarakat Pulau Rimau. Panel surya yang sudah diterapkan berkapasitas 240 wp, dengan kapasitas inverter 1000 watt, dan water heater 450 watt. Panel surya tersebut, telah berhasil menghasilkan air tawar sejumlah 480 ml dengan input air laut 22,5 liter. Program pengabdian ini telah memberikan kebermanfaatan masyarakat yang diukur menggunakan pre-test, post-test dan survei kepuasan
Kajian Pemilihan Struktur Fondasi Bangunan Empat Lantai: (Studi Kasus Desain Gedung GLT 1 dan GLT 3 Institut Teknologi Sumatera)
Fondasi adalah suatu konstruksi pada bagian dasar struktur bangunan yang berfungsi untuk meneruskan beban yang disebabkan struktur bangunan bagian atas. Dalam perencanaan suatu bangunan, diperlukan pemilihan fondasi yang efisien dalam hal biaya maupun waktu pengerjaan dan tidak melupakan kriteria desain yang ada. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menganalisis jenis fondasi yang efisien dan efektif digunakan pada Gedung Laboratorium Teknik 1 (GLT 1) dan Gedung Laboratorium Teknik 3 (GLT 3) Institut Teknologi Sumatera dengan membandingkan biaya dan waktu pekerjaan fondasi rakit pelat rata dan fondasi tiang bor. GLT 1 dan GLT 3 mempunyai kesamaan dalam jumlah lantai yaitu 4 lantai termasuk atap, namun berbeda dari jarak antar kolom. GLT 1 memiliki geometri gedung dengan panjang 56 m, lebar 24 m dan jarak antar kolom 8 m. Sedangkan GLT 3 memiliki geometri gedung dengan panjang 72 m, lebar 27 m dan jarak antar kolom 6 m. Berdasarkan analisis yang telah dilakukan, pekerjaan fondasi pada GLT 1 menyimpulkan bahwa dari aspek biaya pekerjaan fondasi tiang bor lebih hemat dibandingkan fondasi rakit. Sebaliknya, pekerjaan fondasi tiang bor pada GLT 3 lebih mahal sedikit dibandingkan pekerjaan fondasi rakit. Dari aspek waktu, pekerjaan fondasi rakit membutuhkan waktu lebih lama dari pekerjaan fondasi tiang bor
