Potensi Geodiversity di Sekitar Kawasan Anak Krakatau-Way Kambas, Provinsi Lampung, Sebagai Kandidat Geopark Indonesia
The global significance of Krakatau Volcanic Complex and Way Kambas National Park is the best potential areas to be developed as part of a world heritage, particularly as UNESCO Global Geopark. Both of these objects are in the Lampung Province, Indonesia. Soon, it is necessary to identify and make an inventory of key sites that could become the theme of the area. The study of geodiversity and scientific valuation was carried out which referred to the Technical Guidelines for the Assessment of Indonesia Geological Heritage Resources, 2019. Based on these studies and assessments, there are 14 key sites to represent for Geopark Krakatau-Way Kambas themes. These sites are closely related to the evolution of tectonic activity in the Southern Sumatera as well as the dynamics of magmatism and paleovolcanism that have occurred since the Mesozoic which has signification in human history as world heritage
Penerapan Program Linear Fuzzy dalam Optimalisasi Jumlah Produksi dan Keuntungan di K-Bakery
K-Bakery is a bakery located in Bandar Lampung City, Lampung. K-Bakery produces various types of bread, namely brown bread, nuts, greentea, mocha, and tiramisu bread which involve various raw material resources. Unstable market demand creates obstacles for K-Bakery in formulating the number of each type of bread to be produced so as to produce maximum profit. However, in determining the amount of production must pay attention to the limited supply of raw materials. In this case, there is a need for production planning so that all available resources can be used optimally and produce a combination of production that provides maximum profit. One way to solve this problem is to optimize production using a fuzzy linear program with a tolerance of 10% as the capability of K-Bakery. The use of the fuzzy linear program generates greater profits than the usual linear program, the profit obtained is Rp. 11.247.972,1708by producing 320 chocolate breads, 449,75 peanut breads, 365,667 greentea breads, 250 moka breads fruit, 449,925 srikaya bread, and 499,975 tiramisu breads. In addition, the value of l = 0,5 is obtained, or in other words, the maximum addition of each raw material is 50% of the available safety stock
Evaluation of surface properties of betung bamboo (Dendrocalmus asper) strands under various heat treatment duration and temperature
The abundance, rapid growth characteristics and good mechanical properties have made betung bamboo as good alternative materials to replace the slow growing wood. To adress the susceptibility to insects and water attack, the making of bamboo composites, using resin as matrix, has been widely practiced. Thus, the surface properties of bamboo strands are crucial to determine the optimum interaction with resin. This study evaluate the effect of heat treatment to improve the surface properties of bamboo strands, such as the wettability and the color change. Beforehand, the freshly cut bamboo was cut, cleaned and sand-grinded. The heat treatment was done at 140o and 160oC for 1, 2, and 3 hours. After cooling down to room temperature, the contact angle of bamboo’s surface was measured by sessile drop methode. The wettability was indicated by constant of contact angle change rate, K. Besides, the change of color was also determined. After the experiments, it was obtained that the bamboo surface tends to be more hydrophobic and has darker color with longer duration of heat treatment. Higher temperature and longer duration of heat treatment can cause more evaporation of liquid inside bamboo and decrease hydrophilicity of the surface
Pengujian Kadar Zat Terlarut Memanfaatkan Sistem Instrumentasi Maya untuk Penentuan Kualitas Air Bersih: Pengujian Kadar Zat Terlarut Memanfaatkan Sistem Instrumentasi Maya untuk Penentuan Kualitas Air Bersih
Telah dilakukan perancangan dan pembuatan sistem instrumentasi dan akuisisi data uji kandungan zat yang terlarut dengan menggunakan prinsip konduktivitas berbasis LabVIEW dan mikrokontroler. Sistem instrumentasi ini mampu mengakuisisi data dengan mengkombinasikan LabVIEW sebagai program akuisisi data pengukuran sedangkan mikrokontroler beserta sensor koduktivitas berperan sebagai tranduser untuk mengubah besaran fisis menjadi sinyal listrik berupa tegangan. Hasil data analog zat yang terlarut akan dikirim oleh mikrokontroler ke LabVIEW melalui komunikasi serial dengan USB port yang dihubungkan ke komputer yang telah terinstall aplikasi LabVIEW dengan tambahan konfigurasi VISA untuk port serial, kemudian data diolah dan ditampilkan pada front panel pada LabVIEW dengan tujuan sebagai proses monitoring dan pengukuran kualitas air pada industri yang dapat diatur sesuai tampilan yang diinginkan pengguna (User Friendly) dibandingkan Penggunaan LCD bersifat terbatas pada fitur tampilan (Front Panel) dan Proses Pengolahan data pada blok diagram. Sistem instrumentasi yang telah dibuat memiliki nilai koefisien determinasi ( R2 ) adalah 0,955 yang menunjukan bahwa hasil pengukuran dari sistem instrumentasi mampu mendapatkan hasil pengukuran yang baik. Hasil penelitian kandungan zat yang dilarutkan dalam air yang disebut nilai Total Dissolve Solid (TDS) masih perlu pengembangan sistem dari segi kuantitas jumlah sensor untuk mengukur lebih banyak banyak lagi indikator yang mempengaruhi kualitas air bersih
KONSEP NILAI KENYAMANAN RUANG DARI SUDUT PANDANG ANAK-ANAK DI KECAMATAN KOTABUMI
Comfort guarantees are often seen as a problem for users of public open spaces, especially children. Convenience is an indicator of the level of habitability of a public space. Along with the development of the city, the value of comfort is something that allegedly shows the character of the city. The character of the city is an assessment of what is felt by users (children) who carry out activities in space. Therefore, more attention is needed to the design factors that children need to support their activities. For this reason, an in-depth study of the concept of space comfort values ​​is needed from the point of view of children in Kotabumi District. The methodology in this study uses qualitative inductive analysis with a naturalistic approach. From the analysis, it can be seen that the value of space comfort that is formed from the point of view of children is formed from: 1) Values ​​instilled by parents; 2) Activities carried out by children; and 3) Child social interactions. The concept of the value of space comfort gives birth to criteria for a comfortable space for children. The criteria are among others: 1) Space that has a location not far from the child's residence; 2) Spaces that have ample space and cool conditions so that children can freely do activities, such as playing and learning; 3) Space that can accommodate for each age group of children; 4) Space that can be enjoyed by children without being charged (free); and 5) Spaces consisting of various kinds of games according to the child's age group. Based on this, it is expected that there will be an effort to consider the government in the process of optimizing Taman Sahabat as a public open space for children by considering the criteria of comfortable space according to children in Kotabumi District
Community Empowerment through Mung Bean Sprouts Production Training Program
As one important crop, especially in Asia, mung bean sprouts (Vigna radiata L.) offers many benefit and profit for those who able to produce it properly. In Kebun Jati village, such kind of commodities will very help for either self-consumption or business. However, the unknown knowledge and experience in production process often results on broken mung bean sprouts. Here, the simply technique, materials and tools was introduced to society in Kebun Jati village through community empowerment with motivation, training and accompaniment. The 10 total participant joined in this activity was motivated about benefit and profit of mung bean sprouts. Besides, participant was also trained how to produce mung bean sprouts properly. The significant improvement of knowledge was found on methods of mung bean sprouts production aspect, by 90% of participant becomes understood. Further accompaniment to transform raw materials of mung bean sprouts become useful product will improve the economic value
Analisis Persimpangan Tak Bersinyal Menggunakan Software PTV Vissim (Studi Kasus: Jalan Urip Sumoharjo-Jalan Kimaja)
Persimpangan adalah bagian dari sistem jaringan jalan yang menghubungkan dua jalan atau lebih pada satu titik. Persimpangan merupakan bagian dari sistem jaringan jalan, dan kelancaran pergerakan jaringan jalan juga bergantung pada pergerakan simpang tersebut. Persimpangan yang tidak bersinyal dapat menyebabkan kemacetan lalu lintas pada jaringan jalan. Persimpangan tak bersinyal dapat menyebabkan pada pergerakkan jaringan jalan menjadi macet. Salah satu persimpangan jalan di Kota Bandar Lampung yang mengalami hal tersebut yaitu pada persimpangan Jalan Urip Sumoharjo dan Jalan Kimaja, yang merupakan simpang tidak bersinyal. Dengan mengetahui kinerja simpang berdasarkan manual kapasitas jalan Indonesia tahun 1997, kemudian disimulasikan menggunakan software PTV Vissim. Parameter kinerja simpang adalah derajat kejenuhan, tundaan, probabilitas antrian. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah kinerja simpang menggunakan metode MKJI 1997 dan software PTV Vissim, serta menghitung panjang antrian akibat penutupan gerbang kereta api menggunakan metode shockwave. Hasil performansi simpang dengan metode MKJI 1997 diperoleh nilai DS terbesar sebesar 0,931 dengan tundaan simpang 16,41 detik/smp dan nilai probabilitas antrian 34,77%-68,65%. Hasil Analisa kinerja simpang menggunakan software PTV Vissim tingkat pelayanan simpang LOS D, tundaan sebesar 34,6 detik dan rata-rata panjang antrian pada setiap lengan simpang adalah 30,63 m
Analisis Data Hujan Untuk Pengelolaan Air Tambang : Analisis Data Curah Hujan Kejadian Kontinu
Masalah terkait dengan kuantitas air yang berlebihan terutama muncul dikarenakan analisis pengelolaan air di lokasi tambang yang belum dilakukan secara baik pada saat tahap perencanaan tambang. Pengelolaan air pada tambang terbuka terutama terkait hidrologi di area penambangan menyangkut 3 hal, yaitu (1) kebutuhan sarana penyaliran terbuka pada area penambangan, (2) kebutuhan pit sump untuk operasi di front penambangan dan (3) kecepatan pengisian pit lake pada saat pasca tambang. Dalam penelitian ini hanya difokuskan pada analisis curah hujan kejadian kontinu (continuous event) untuk kecepatan pengisian pit lake saat pasca tambang. Uji normalitas dan simulasi Monte Carlo dilakukan untuk memprediksi curah hujan yang digunakan dalam analisis kecepatan pengisian air pada pit lake saat pasca tambang. Berdasarkan simulasi Monte Carlo yang telah dilakukan diperoleh bahwa curah hujan terendah terjadi pada bulan September tahun 2018 sebesar 78,2 mm, sedangkan curah hujan tertinggi diprediksi akan terjadi pada bulan Desember tahun 2018 sebesar 268,3 mm. Sementara itu total akumulasi curah hujan yang terjadi selama periode 2015-2018 diprediksi mencapai 8093,8 mm
Simulasi Energi dan Keekonomian Sistem Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Surya (PLTS) untuk Fungsi Peak Load Shaving pada Bangunan di Lingkungan Kampus ITB
Pada paper ini, dilakukan simulasi produksi energi dan keekonomian dari sistem PLTS terintegrasi dengan jaringan listrik yang merupakan bagian dari proyek instalasi sistem smart microgrid di bangunan Center for Advanced Sciences (CAS) ITB. Terdapat dua sistem PLTS yang dianalisis yaitu sistem PLTS 40 kWp tanpa baterai, dan sistem PLTS 10 kWp dengan baterai yang terhubung ke beban kritis. Kedua sistem PLTS tersebut dirancang dengan tujuan peak load shaving yang dapat meminimalisir adanya ketidakseimbangan antara produksi energi surya dan permintaan listrik. Kedua sistem dianalisis dengan metoda simulasi berdasarkan aspek energi dan ekonomi menggunakan perangkat lunak PVsyst dan Homer. Dari hasil simulasi sistem PLTS 40 kWp didapatkan nilai performance ratio (PR) sebesar 0,833, renewable fraction (RF) sebesar 18,73%, dan cost of energy (COE) sebesar Rp 1.251,85/kWh yang mana nilai PR dan COE telah memenuhi target bisnis: PR > 0.8 dan COE < Rp 1.467,28/kWh tetapi tidak memenuhi target RF > 35%. Sementara dari hasil simulasi sistem PLTS 10 kWp didapatkan nilai PR sebesar 0,77, RF sebesar 44,38% hingga 52,19% pada rentang depth of discharge 20% - 80%, dan COE sebesar Rp 2.103/kWh hingga Rp 6.315/kWh pada rentang DoD 20% - 80% yang mana hanya nilai RF telah memenuhi target bisnis
