WARGA MUHAMMADIYAH DAN NU DI LAMONGAN MEMANDANG TRADISI TINGKEBAN
Get PDFThe Tingkeban tradition serves as one of important rituals besides the wedding and thefuneral. The fact indicates the reverse phenomenon of the splitting tendency among theadherents of Muhammadiyah and NU in that the ritual bears as the social sphere ofthe people. In this regard, it is important to fi rstly understand how the Muhammadiyahand the NU adherents gave their response to the Tingkeban and its functionality. Thisresearch uses Talcott Parsons’ Structural Functionalism that covered four premises ofAGIL that includes adaptation (A), goal attainment (G), integration(I) and lattenpattern maintenance (L). This fi eld research includes data collecting by observation,documentation and interviews to the community leaders as well as covers a participantobservation using a qualitative approach on a descriptive-analytical data.The study shows that fi rst, people consider the Tingkeban as Hindhu tradition and itis a kind of novelty in Islam. In the Muhammadiyah’s view among Karangrejo people,there is an exception between the Tingkeban and some other local tradition. Both aretruth, in their views, with a little difference in the Tingkeban practice in Karangrejo.Secondly, the function of Tingkeban as action system can be describes as follows. (A)Adaptation deals with slametan, landang/rewang and social invitation, (G) GoalAttainment covers the ideal of rukun, harmonis, dan selamat, (I) integration dealswith the making of Procot cake as Tingkeban symbol and (L) latency refers to theGrace to God. The function of Tingkeban is an effort to accomplish the harmony andbalance in a ‘society’ system. I will show that although Buddhism does not have concept of God, yet it can build interreligious relation with theistic religions. Building Harmony Through Religious Counseling (The Religious Harmony Portrait in North Mamuju)
No full textThe religious counselor in North Mamuju has a significant role in building harmony in their area. The religious harmony in North Mamuju can be said quite harmonious. We knew this condition by looking at the indication of the religious counselor’s role on guiding and counseling the society. Through qualitative study, this research found some results. First, the moderate counseling model by moslem counselor is proven to improve religious harmony in society. Second, the affection method in Christian doctrine is proven can wreathe the Christian people in develop themselves naturally around moslem society. While in Hindu, the Tri Hita Kirana is used as a model to build religious harmony. The Tri Hita Kirana consists of the concept of relationship with God, with human, and also nature. Through those three model, the religious harmony can be achieved by emphasizing the believing-other attitude also respect and appreciate each other in social and nation life.[Penyuluh agama sebagai ujung tombak Kementerian Agama dalam membangun harmoni di masyarakat memiliki peran penting. Melalui penelitian kualitaif di Kabupaten Mamuju Utara, diperoleh tiga temuan sebagai berikut. Pertama, model penyuluhan secara moderat oleh penyuluh agama Islam, terbukti dapat meningkatkan kerukunan di masyarakat. Kedua, metode kasih dalam ajaran Kristen, mampu menjalin umat kristiani mengembangkan diri di tengah masyarakat muslim secara wajar. Sedangkan dalam agama Hindu, model untuk membangun kerukunan adalah dengan melaksanakan Tri Hita Kirana, yakni hubungan kepada Tuhan, manusia, dan alam. Melalui ketiga model tersebut, kerukunan akan dapat tercapai jika antarumat beragama mengedepankan sikap saling percaya, saling menghormati, dan saling menghargai dalam kehidupan bermasyarakat, berbangsa, dan bernegara.

A.R Baswedan is an Arab descendant known as the pioneer of independence of the Republic of Indonesia. The author through historical socio-political studies found that A.R Baswedan is an example of Arabic descent who counter Arabism and views between the Arab descendants and the descendants of indigenous Indonesians are the same or equal and the same fate. Masjid dan Perubahan Masyarakat Pascaindustri di Indonesia: Amalan NU dalam Bingkai Muhammadiyah
Get PDFMuhammadiyah was frequently being similarized with who denied tradition and NU was not. Though one tries to coerce, it will be merely culture movement without tradition. This article desires to look further the soft contestation which is occurred between Muhammadiyah and NU’s movement within Masjid Jendral Sudirman (MJS). MJS is one of mosque in Yogyakarta whose Muhammadiyah affiliation, yet almost all activities therein use NU’s peculiarities. Boards (takmir) enliven the mosque were coming from NU since 2008 and so that it is decently plausible. I’m interesting to investigate what actually happened beyond the board’s movement in instilling NU’s particularities upon Muhammadiyah’s mosque: is it insurgency, coup d’etat, or a new mode of hybrid, and why it can be occurred. The article thus argues that the pattern of NU’s board movement in MJS is merely mass movement which emerges unconsciously as an effect of unawareness shift, borrowing Selo Soemardjan’s phrase. Ditambah dengan perkembangan zaman yang terus berkembang dengan pesat serta komunikasi global yang telah menjadi keniscayaan. Hal ini memberikan pengaruh yang sangat besar terhadap perkembangan kajian keagamaan, dalam hal ini kajian terhadao al-Qur’an dan hadis yang membutuhkan banyak sarana agar kajian yang dilakukan dapat menyesuaikan dengan zaman, sehingga tidak tergerus oleh masa dan perkembangan tekonolosi dan komunikasi. Mengingat tantangan ini, kini telah muncul berbagai software dan aplikasi yang memudahkan dalam pengkajian al-Qur’an dan hadis seperti Maktabah Syamilah, Gawamil kalim, Lidwa dan aplikasi lainnya. Software atau aplikasi ini telah banyak beredar dan digunakan sebagai rujukan dalam mencari sumber data, sehingga pengkaji tidak perlu mencari data hadis ataupun tafsir secara manual yang seringkali menmbutuhkan waktu yang tidak sedikit, hadirnya software ini memberikan kemudahan dalam kajian yang dilakukan. Maka penguasaan tekno;ogi menjadi kebutuhan, baik dalam hal instalisasi dan operasional. Setiap karya manusia tetap memiliki kekurangan, termasuk dalam aplikasi ataupun software yang ada, maka dari itu kehati-hatian dan ketelitian tetap menjadi modal utama dalam pengkajian.
