Diskursus Politik dalam Khazanah Keilmuan Islam
No full textIslamic Studies are very rich in political thoughts and theories. Theoretically, this field has not been much explored, introduced, and developed by modern Muslim thinkers, although practically, Islam is closely related to politics since the early period of its birth. This paper examines and maps the theoretical discourse of politics that developed in the Islamic Studies. There are two issues that are the subject of discussion, namely: first, about the development of political theoretical discourse in Islamic Studies; and second, about the characteristics of the Islamic political discourse. From a descriptive- analytical view, it was found that discourse on politics in the Islamic Studies to the Middle Ages was discussed in two different genres, namely in the discipline of fiqh and philosophy. Each of these genres has different perspectives, approaches, ethical sources, and exponents. Although these two genres are different, they both emphasize the significance of ethics in politics or make ethics a character and basis on which politics is upheld

Keberhasilan itu juga merupakan hasil dari kolaborasi media (teknologi informasi dan komunikasi) serta pasar yang sangat intim dan masif. KEBAHAGIAAN DALAM PERSPEKTIF MASYARAKAT MARJINAL (Studi Masyarakat Desa Hadipolo Argopuro Kudus Jawa Tengah)
Get PDFKebahagiaan merupakan harapan hidup semua manusia, termasuk masyarakat marjinal Desa Hadipolo Argopuro Kudus. Menurut mereka kebahagiaan hidup meliputi beberapa hal diantaranya terpenuhinya kebutuhan sehari-hari, mendapat pekerjaan yang layak, memperoleh penghasilan yang cukup, dapat mengakses layanan publik secara maksimal, dan memperoleh layanan pendidikan maksimal. Namun realitas menunjukkan fakta berbeda, masyarakat Desa Hadipolo yang tergolong masyarakat marjinal belum dapat memenuhi kebutuhan hidup dengan baik sehingga untuk menopang kebutuhan masyarakat berprofesi sebagai pengamen, pemulung, menjadi buruh pabrik dan pasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif-kualitatif, supaya diperoleh data yang valid sesuai kondisi lapangan. Data dikumpulkan dengan teknik observasi, dokumentasi, dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kebahagiaan hidup masyarakat Desa Hadipolo diidentifikasi dalam beberapa aspek: ekonomi, pendidikan, profesi/pekerjaan, dan akses layanan publik. Pada setiap aspek tersebut terdapat kualifikasi berdasarkan standar kebahagiaan masyarakat. Tercapainya kebahagaiaan hidup tidak lepas dari kondisi mental ,keterampilan, motivasi personal, serta kontribusi pemerintah daerah.Kata kunci: Makna kebahagiaan, masyarakat marginal, desa Hadipolo.Happiness is the life expectancy of all humans, including the marginal community of the village of Hadipolo Argopuro Kudus. According to them the happiness of life includes several things including the fulfillment of daily needs, getting decent work, earning enough income, being able to access public services to the full, and getting maximum education services. However, the reality shows a different fact, the Hadipolo Village people who are classified as marginal people have not been able to meet the needs of life well so as to support the needs of the community living as buskers, scavengers, becoming factory workers and markets. This study uses descriptive-qualitative methods, in order to obtain valid data according to field conditions. Data collected by observation, documentation, and interview techniques. The results showed that the happiness of the life of the Hadipolo Village community was identified in several aspects: economy, education, profession/work, and access to public services. In each of these aspects there are qualifications based on people’s happiness standards. The achievement of life’s happiness cannot be separated from mental conditions, skills, personal motivation, and the contribution of local governments.Keywords: The meaning of happiness, marginal society, Hadipolo village
UMMATAN WASAṬAN MENURUT M. QURAISH SHIHAB DALAM TAFSIR AL-MISBAH DAN RELEVANSINYA DENGAN NILAI-NILAI PANCASILA
Get PDFQuran idealizes Muslims as ummatan wasaṭan, but in reality Muslims are still far from the idealism of the Quran. This article discusses the ummatan wasaṭan according to Quraish Shihab in Tafsir al-Misbah. The aim is to find out the interpretations and concepts of ummatan wasaṭan according to Quraish Shihab, as well as the relevance of their interpretation to the values of Pancasila. This research is a library research. This research uses documentation techniques and descriptive-analytical methods. This research also uses the comparison method. The results of this study found that: according to Quraish Shihab, ummatan wasaṭan were moderate people, who were not inclined to the left and right so that led to a fair attitude, and the people who became witnesses and were witnessed by all parties so that he was made an example. The characteristics of ummatan wasaṭan according to Quraish Shihab are eight. (a) Faith in Allah and His Messenger; (b) Firmness; (c) Wisdom; (d) Unity and cohesion and brotherhood; (e) Justice; (f) Modeling; (g) Balance; and (h) Inclusive. M. No full textThis article examines the ideas of W.B. Sidjabat on the study of religion which is hardly discussed by scholars. Most scholars focus their studies more on the thoughts of Mukti Ali, Rasyidi, and other comparative religious figures, whereas Sidjabat tends to be more objective in building the paradigm of religious science. According to Sidjabat, religion is a neutral scope of study so that a religious researcher must not be subjective in his research and use several methodologies. Likewise with the perspectives used, so the methodology used in religious research will be relevant to the scope of religious studies. Thus, the study of religion aims to build a close personal relationship between religions, foster religious ethics among religious communities, deepen knowledge about the teachings of other religious communities, and stimulate cooperation among religious believers in practice

Get PDFBerbicara tentang media sosial sudah lama mejadi media yang digandrungi oleh khalayak ramai mulai dari kalangan tua, muda, hingga anak-anak. Kegandrungan terhadap media sosial yang bersifat maya tersebut menjadikan banyak orang berlomba-lomba menciptakan aplikasi atau media baru yang dapat memicu kegemaran masyrakat. Salah satunya adalah media sosial WhatsApp, yakni sebuah aplikasi media sosial yang didirikan dan diciptakan pada tahun 2009 dan saat ini pada tahun 2018 lebih dari 1,5 miliar pengguna aktif WhatsApp dalam hitungan perbulan. Selang perkembangannya yang semakin membeludak WhatsApp menambahi fitur-fitur baru sehingga dapat memikat para penggunanya untuk tetap setia menggunakan aplikasi tersebut. Salah satu fitur yang ditawarkan WhatsApp belakangan ini adalah tersedianya fitur story. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui motif aploud story di media sosial WhatsApp pada mahasiswa institut agama islam negeri jember. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis studi etnografi virtual. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ada beberapa motif mahasiswa mengaploud story di WahtsApp salah satunya adalah sebagai Motif ingin tahu, menghibur, dan media ekpresi.Kata Kunci: Media Sosial, Whatsapp, Motif.Social media has long been a media that love by the crowd ranging from the old, young, to the children. Affection of social media that is virtual makes many people competing to create applications or new media that can trigger community penchant. One of them is WhatsApp, which is a social media application that was founded and created in 2009 and currently in 2018 more than 1.5 billion active users WhatsApp in a matter of months. The progressive of growing adds new features to lure users to stay faithful with the app. One feature offered WhatsApp lately is the availability of feature stories. This research aims to find out the motive of aploud story in WhatsApp social media at the student of Islamic religion institute of jember country. This study uses a qualitative approach with a type of virtual ethnography study. The results that showed are some student motives to upload their story in WahtsApp. one of them is as motive curious, entertaining, and just for media expression.Keywords: Social Media, WhatsApp, Motive
